Hi, I’m Fiona. I am moving to Melbourne to work at Monash University as a Post Doc, so I will be working full time. I am a geologist so obviously I like outdoorsy things. I am generally pretty active, and have a lot of friends in Melbourne. I am really friendly and pretty keen for a chat and a laugh, I am also clean and respectful of others' spaces. I have lived in my fair share of house shares so I think I have the balance nailed. Please note: dog pictured is not included (unfortunately).
Hey team, I am Jaimi, a 25 year old female, I have moved to Melbourne from the beautiful Bondi Beach ( I am originally from the Sunny Coast in QLD). I have lived out of home for the past 4 years (so I am house-trained) and come from a big family, so I like to think I am pretty easy going and can get along with lots of people. I am currently in my 3rd year of Medicine (which is like a Monday-Friday 9-5 job) a fully qualified paramedic and I nanny part-time. During the week I will be in the hospitals and will spend my evenings exercising and seeing friends. On the weekends I will be watching the footy, drinking beers, throwing around some banter, going to gigs, exploring Melbourne, looking for all-around good times and probably searching for a beach when the weather permits. I laugh (lots), have a few too many blonde moments, wear and love colour/patterns, always up for a red wine or beer, cheese platters and chats. I'd also welcome board games or some Crash Bandicoot. Let me know if you'd like to know more about me, or feel free to have a good ol' stalk on social media. Hopefully I'll be meeting some of you soon. Jaimi.
Hi, I’m moving to Melbourne for work and looking for a place to live…! I’m looking for a flat or house share in Richmond, Fitzroy or other suburbs nearby. I’ll be working full-time and hoping to live in a relatively quiet flat. I enjoy going to gigs, the cinema and attempting to skateboard and make songs.
Hi! I am a chilean environmental engineer that just arrived here in Melbourne with a WH visa. I am 26 years old, like sports, doing outdoor activities and I also like to go out on the weekends. I am an easygoing person, with interest in making friends of different nationalities and getting to know different cultures. Right now I am looking for a job so I pretend to be at home in the afternoons. I am a tidy, clean and organized person. I respect personal spaces but also like to share a good coffee (or a beer) occasionally. I can cook for myself but also cook as a group and share a good meal. I am from Chile so I can teach how to cook some chilean meals aswell. If you have any questions please contact me!
Hey Mary Am Neha, 24 . I'm from India. But this not my first time coming to Australia. I came to Australia as a holiday trip in May 2017. And that's when I fell in love with Melbourne and decided to do my masters in Melbourne. Am very easy going girl who loves music and gym. And I love cooking and am very good at cooking Indian dishes and love to hear compliments about it 😛 I don't mind sharing the household work. Am a very neat and organised person. I believe in a saying "there can be no real beauty without neatness and order" I like dinners and movies on weekends than very late night parties. I love to interact with you when ever you want to and I also respect your privacy.
Hi! My name is Dani and I am a 24 year old gay designer from Spain. I am a believer of making a house feel like a home. I love cooking, for myself and others, socializing but I also enjoy having time for myself. I am clean, respectful, easygoing, kind and hardworking. I enjoy going out but I am not a party animal. I am looking for a home to feel comfortable and safe in with like-minded people. Don't hesitate and message me!
We've been friends since high school. We're both pursuing our Master's degree. Vaibhav studies in La Trobe and I will be starting my course at Monash. We both are very serious about our studies and we both enjoy football. Always open for nice chat over a pint.
Hi. I'm going to study in Deakin in July 2018. While my husband is following me. We are both very helpful and friendly person. We are looking for a clean and quiet environment to stay. As well as friendly people.
Hey! I am Canadian and have been living in Australia for a year now. I have just moved to Melbourne after completing the mandatory 88 days of farm work to extend my working holiday visa for another year. After living in hostels the last few months, I am more than ready to find a place with my own room. Because of my experience living in hostels, I know how to keep tidy and respect the space of others! I am in hospitality and intend on working as much as I can in the coming months. Otherwise, I love exploring new places, practicing yoga, reading, and a good Netflix binge (I’m also partial to the occasional glass of wine). If I sound like I would make an ideal housemate, please get in touch :)
Hi, I‘m Marius 24 and from mid February I‘ll be staying in Melbourne until end of June or July, depending on my vacation plans 🙂 I will be continuing my communication design studies at Swinburne. I‘m down to earth, like being in the nature and exploring, love a good book and, I would say, I‘m a good cook too. Since I have moved out from home, two years ago, I‘ve been living in shared flats, so I know what‘s to be expected and how to respect others. I‘m german but speak english quite fluent, always trying to improve it. I‘m an open minded person with lots of interests, I like a good chat and to hang around and explore the city, but I also really enjoy my own time to relax and recharge my batteries. I‘m tidy but really don‘t mind the occasional mess, my room can get there somtimes haha. I like plants, design and making myself at home wherever I go.
I’m Yvette and I’m 27. I’ve just moved from Brisbane to Melbourne for work. I’m working in the funeral industry and my schedule will be 12 hr shifts, 7 days on, 7 days off. Night shift every 10 weeks and I’ll likely be flying home to Brisbane every 2-3 months on my week off as well. On my weeks off I’ll likely be keeping myself busy, running errands, exploring, socialising, going to shows, etc. I’m pretty quiet; I like to keep busy so I’m not around a lot, and when I am, I like to use my time at home to unwind and relax. I like keeping things clean and tidy. However I don’t believe in rosters for chores. We’re all adults and if something is noticeably dirty, you should just clean it because you care about your home. I’m pretty deligent when it come to managing my finances so paying rent/bills on time is never an issue. I also have a cat, her name is Vengeance. She is such a sweet girl. She’s gorgeous and very needy. Despite her name, she’s extremely friendly and she’s a very chill cat. I would prefer she be the only cat in the household, but I would be open to her meeting other cats first and see how they get along. Ultimately, she’s my best pal and I want her to be happy and comfortable in our new home. I’m ideally looking to share with one other person in a place that has 3 bedrooms. I feel as though having a third bedroom as a storage room/guest room/study/whatever will make the place seem less cramped. It’s not completely necessary though. My main requirement is that the place I’ll be living in must have a bath. Extremely important. I was living alone in Brisbane so I have a lot of furniture/appliances to contribute to the place. I have a fridge, washing machine, dryer, portable air con, heater, vacuum cleaner, iron etc, sewing machine/overlocker, lounge suite, coffee table, bookshelves, a telephone chair? (Idk why. Impulse antique purchase but it’s pretty), a cabinet, probably too many clothing racks, standard kitchen stuff (toaster, kettle, blender, juicer, food processor, microwave, plus cookware, glassware, crockery, utensils, etc). I can store/sell/donate things that aren’t needed.
Hey there! Im a really friendly and outgoing individual who will get along with absolutely anybody. I work around 4-5 days a week in hospitality, like to socialise over a few drinks, like things tidy, getting things done that need to be, and am really laid back. I love anything creative and am always sharing ideas and laughing about life! I am looking to move from Sydney to Melbourne very shortly with like minded individuals. Currently I am taking a break from my official studies in marketing and design to pursue an interest in music production and am hoping to advance this year in it and see where it takes me!
Hello! New in the city, new in Australia. My name is Pello, I´m moving there from Spain. I´m architect and graphic designer. Preferably I want a room for March. But if the location is good for my office, i can stay longer. Easy going, open minded, love making new friends and meeting people from all the world, traveling and learning something new every day. I also like going out, sport, cultural events, music... I like my home tidy and clean and I´m very respectful with other flatmates. I would like to share flat with someone similar, friendly and respectful.
Hi, I'm Thomasin. I work full time in the city as a web developer, looking for a quiet place. I eat mainly pre made meals and shakes so I don't make any mess in the kitchen, and I can clean up after myself. Been in Melbourne for 4 years, originally from New Zealand. A couple of drinks/meals/getting nails done every now and then with flatmates is nice but I'm not a partier and I'm not super outgoing I like to do my own thing. I train 3-5 times a week after work so often home a bit later. I'm into walks, lying around on my computer, pottery, comfortable silences. I have a partner who will probably stay over 1/2 times a week but we try get out of the house as much as we can so won't be in your way. I don't drive so living ~10min max from public transport is really a must for me to get into work every day. I am not vegetarian but all my meals w/ meat in them are premade so I never cook any any and it won't be in your face. Looking to live with other people in their 20s, preferably girls. (-:
I'm a really easy-going person from England who has just moved to Melbourne to start working. I'm looking for a place to stay for the next 4-6 months. I love meeting new people and always keen for a social event. I like to keep things tidy around the house and respect peoples privacy. I have a keen interest in sport and always happy to try new things.
Hello! I am Carlos I am 23 years old from Spain and I am gonna be studying a master of civil engineering in the RMIT. I am an easy going person, I have already lived in a shared flat and it has been a really good experience. I am open-minded, I respect personal space and time but I like good talking and hanging out, of course. About my hobbies, I play rugby, but I love sports in general. I play the guitar and piano. I also like to travel a lot and discover new places. I guess this is a short version of me. I am looking forward to move to Melbourne! Cheers! :) Carlos.
I am a chilled out and an easy going individual who enjoys a conversation, movies, series on a regular basis and would be great if we could watch it together. I am a big foodie who enjoys cooking daily and am a veggo so it would be a bonus to live or team up with someone similar, if not that's cool as well. I equally respect peoples privacy and space as there are days where you just want to be kept alone. Would prefer to live in an all-female place, but not necessary. Cleanliness is fairly important so we could work out something there. I don't smoke and hardly drink, but we could have a glass once in a while. Would be great if I found someone similar. As I will be in my final semester of studying, I want a quiet and peaceful place and not a party house. I enjoy baking, so you could expect baked goodies once in a while. If you think we can team-up, hit me up! Or else, good luck with your house hunting! Cheers
I am a 30yo brazilian and marketing manager. Respectful, friendly and clean. Used to sharing houses in different countries. Would like a flatmate that wants to be friends and interact a bit while still maintaining their own life and privacy. I’m interested in cooking, keeping fit, traveling and all things history! Don’t own a pet but love cats and dogs and all animals really! Very busy working as well as doing some studying and doing my best to keep fit. LIVING NEXT TO A TRAIN STATION IS A MUST FOR ME DUE TO WORK :)
Hi I’m Hannah I’m 28yrs old chef and patisserie chef working in Richmond. I’m Australian/British from Western Australia but have lived in Richmond for 5/6 years. I’m easygoing and tidy and enjoy going out with friends and meeting new people. I also enjoy my downtime and chilling with a glass of wine and Netflix. I’m always up for housemate activities or just having a chat.
I’m 22 working full time in docklands. Always lived in Melbourne, love the city, live music, playing pool, footy, games,op shops, tomato sauce and discovering new places. I’m easy going and get along with anyone from all walks of life. I love to travel and meet new people but I’m always struggling to write these introductions. I’m flexible with stay and move in date, ideally I’d like something long term.
