I'm a student at Melbourne Uni studying Masters of Physics, which takes up most of my time. I'm great with housework. My favourite things to do are settle down with a good book, mindlessly scroll the interwebs, and chatting with friends. I enjoy my music and you will hear me singing/playing the violin (but not in the middle of the night). I also speak mostly fluent Mandarin. I will respect your privacy. Best wishes :)
Professionally I'm an electrical engineer (but one of the ones who talks to people, I swear!) going to be working at Telstra next year - if you've had a terrible experience with them I am so sorry, please don't hold it against me! Personally I am pretty easy going, am Australian but have lived in the Netherlands, Oman, Scotland, France and Sweden, like music, travel, reading, vegetarian food (I don't care what you eat, though. I mean if it's really weird I might judge, but I promise I'll do it silently), podcasts, trying to keep up my French, running and entertain myself by following the trainwreck that is American politics right now. I've previously house-shared with one other person and 9 other people before so have a decent range of experience, am now looking for either a room in a household where vacuuming happens at least sometimes and people clean their dishes before leaving the kitchen, or to team up with someone and rent a place nearish the CBD. Prefer no pets with free rein of the house as sadly I have allergies.
My name is Lucas Petterson and I am from Denmark where I study law at Copenhagen University. I am going to study one semester at Monash University and therefore I am searching for a place to live while I am in Melbourne. I am a social person by instinct - so I am up for eating and doing stuff together. I am clean and I know when to stick to myself. In that context I also like to be alone sometimes :) Please contact me if you have a room for me :)
Hi there!! I'm a Student studying in Politics and Japanese, and I work part time aswell! Going into my second year at uni, i'm looking for a base of operations (a room) where i usually just sleep play games and watch TV. I enjoy cooking and i drink a little bit. My idea of fun is to play games or go out and do normal stuff, not the biggest party person i prefer smaller gatherings though. I'v lived with my flatmates for about 4 months now and we've become great friends, so hopefully I can make more!
Hey hey! I'm a Perth kid moving to Melbourne late Jan to early Feb to start my masters at the University of Melbourne. I'm looking for a laid back flat share - I'm always down for cooking together, sharing a bottle of wine (gin also more than welcome), exploring the city (I've never been to Melbourne before) and commiserating about living off too little sleep and too much caffeine. That being said, if you also love your alone times, don't stress as I'm the same there too :) I speak basic Mandarin and French. Future flatmates need to understand that I will probably whinge a lot about how much I miss my dog :(
Hi! I'm Matias and Im a chilean graphic designer who loves photography (also coffee!). I like to work out and being outgoing, going for a walk, enjoy the city! Im a very quiet open minded guy who values private space and Im very respectful with them. Im looking for chill places to live, also chill flatmates with I can have nice moments with, have a talk and share some really good coffee :)
Hi Guys, My name is Tom, a Dutch student, i will be stydying Sports Science at Swinburne University from February till July. I am a sporty person, my main sport at the moment is rowing, and i would like to continue that during my time in Melbourne. Although i really like to sport, i enjoy a proper party every now and then. hey I'm Yvonne and I search for a room in a nice, friendly, funny flat cause I'll study in Melbourne for at least one semester at the RMIT. start in February to December. Right now Im in Berlin, Germany studying computer science (no, I think Im not the nerdy cliche of this subject :) beside that I play violin as a hobby and maybe I find an ensemble to play in Melbourne. That also implies that I'm into classical music, but also modern stuff. Here in Berlin I always use my bike to go anywhere, so I plan the same for Melbourne, especially during the summer. Since I moved out of my parents home I always lived in shared flats with different people. Meaning that I have a lots of experience in sharing a flat: Tidy up my stuff, cleaning schedule, respect privacy, come together at the evening for a beer/wine/movie/netflix … And I really love to cook and share it with potential flatmates ;) also cooking with others and exploring new recipe and styles.
I'm from Indonesia and am currently seeking a room to stay for a minimum of 9 months. I'm looking for a place to rent that has all the bills included including wi-fi, preferably unfurnished. May be willing to have bills not included if the rent is cheap enough. I like to keep things clean and tidy and am genuinely a chill and outgoing person. I am very respectful of people's privacy and I work part-time as a Waitress and part-time as a Freelance Makeup Artist. I'm looking for a household that I can chill/hang out with at the end of the day, no drama. Things I like to do in my spare time: read, cook, watch netflix, afternoon strolls. Thanks! Clodia X
Hi, My name is Evelyne, I am 26 and work full-time M-F in the city as account manager in a French company. Pretty busy with work during the week, I like to chill out and relax on weekends. Currently living in a flatshare in the CBD, I am looking for a nice furnished and sunny room in Melb inner suburbs and would enjoy living with sociable and tidy housemates. About me: - Neat, laid-back and easy-going - Love travelling, cooking, baking, ballet dance and yoga - Wine & Cheese lover - Non-smoker and vegetarian (but all fine with meat eaters) - Pay rent and bills on time If you want more details about me, I would be more than happy to have a chat. Cheers, Eve
I’m a florist from NSW looking to make the big move! I’m a bit bored with Sydney and want to take my dog (John - a very friendly and well-behaved border collie; don't worry, it's impossible not to love him) on a new adventure! I’m very chill, respectful and friendly. Would love to live somewhere open minded, friendly and relaxed with great people who can become friends as well as housemates. 😊👋🏻
Hi, my name is Iqbal, a 26-year-old guy from Indonesia. I am a student at University of Melbourne and will enrol the course on next February 2018. I am looking for accommodation around the Parkville Campus but a quite distant accommodation with great access to public transport is considered. I am a tidy and neat person, like going out with friends or just by myself to explore the city. Sometimes I also love to stay at home just to relax, watch movies, cook, or sleep.
Hi there! I am a fun, social, tidy, sportive, but also serious Dutch student moving to Melbourne in February for my master thesis. I am looking for a place to feel at home after my long working days. In my free time I want to explore the city and its surroundings, go out for drinks, work out a little or just stay in and relax. Looking for a clean and cosy furnished room in a house with housemates to socialize and have dinner with etc, until half of July. Hope to hear from you, Sjanne
I work full time in finance in the cosmetics industry. Have lived in Melbourne for over 5 years. Originally from country vic. I am a very easy-going housemate, respectful and clean. I am generally pretty quiet during the week as I tend to work long hours. I enjoy socialising on weekends, heading out for a drink with friends, some sports but I do enjoy a relaxed weekend as well. Happy to get to know housemates and enjoy a drink together and a chat but also enjoy my own space and down time. I have a car so parking off or on street is required
