Hey Hey, I’m Karo and moved from Perth to Melbourne about a year ago. I rented an apartment with a friend and our lease runs out on the 19th of November:) I'm looking for an empty single room with a BIR for a long term stay. I’m German but have been living here for 4 1/2 years and have rented my own apartment before so I’m happy to take over a lease or even rent a new place if anyone is keen. The places I’m looking at staying would be city, Richmond, abbotsford, kew, hawthorn, toorak, southbank, south Melbourne. I’m pretty easy going, clean and responsible. I work on weekends though so I’m looking for a quieter place:) Can’t wait to hear from you Karo
I am moving from Auckland, New Zealand to pursue a PhD in Melbourne. I’m social, love to cook and I’m clean and tidy. Reliable and easy going by nature makes me easy to live with.
We are a young international couple, Melissa (German/English) and Mike (Aussie/English), that have decided to relocate to Melbourne after graduating from the University of Leeds in the UK. We both studied in the Social Science sector and as Mike is originally from Aus we decided to move to pursue careers in social/sustainable housing in the fastest expanding city in the country... We're an outdoorsy couple that are always looking for the next adventure/challenge, we’ve just finished a roadtrip road Europe saying goodbye! I'm an avid traveller and Mike is an ultra-marathon runner. Because of this we’re looking to move into a relatively quiet home with likeminded people/couples. We're up for enjoying some wines and coffees with housemates, although we won't subject you to eating the food we try to cook! I would be great to live with a group that also want to fully explore Melbourne and the surrounding nature!
Hi all, I moved down to Melbourne from Queensland at the start of last year to start work as a physiotherapist. I love what Melbourne has to offer so would prefer to be closer to the city. I've lived in share houses for a few years and have been lucky enough to share with some pretty great people. Happy sharing responsibilities but am a terrible cook.. I'm always up for adventures and exploring and ideally would like a place that feels like home, so would love to find someone social to move in with that could become a friend rather than just housemates. I also have a car so I would be looking for somewhere that at least had on-street parking. If anyone is looking to team up I'd be super keen as well. Preferably in a 3 bedroom place to split costs more but open to anything. Please only contact me on the website as right now I'm living in flight mode. I may take a couple of days to reply as I'm in and out of wifi!
My name is Daniel, I’m 21 from Sydney. I’m relocating to Melbourne for work in mid November. I’ll be working at the Moonlight Cinema in the Royal Botanic Gardens for the season. I’m a tidy, friendly and sociable guy, who loves a chat, but am respectful of others privacy.
I've been a full time musician in London (where I'm from) for the last 2 years, while making songwriting trips to Nashville (USA). I heard some cool things about Melbourne, so I've booked a one-way ticket and I'm here to see what the city has to offer. I'm very easy-going, up for hanging out or happy doing my own thing. I read a lot, I tend to learn languages as a hobby, I've got an MA in Music Business, I'm pretty good at cooking and I'm an optimist :)
I'm an actor/singer from Perth and just moved to Melbourne. I'm fun, easy going and friendly. I love singing, acting, watching movies, netflix, travelling, and hanging out with friends. Hoping to find a place close to the city or somewhere close to public transport.
My name is Hyun, like HYUNDAI but without DAI at the end ;-) I’m a former hotel housekeeper and renovator..., very handy around a house. I'm respectful, sociable, tidy, independent and well rounded. Looking for a temporary place to stay for 5 weeks until I can move into my new apartment in Preston.
I'm a Canadian living and working in Australia for a gap-year before going back to school to do a masters in Occupational Therapy. Would prefer female room mates or a couple. Im likely to stay a few months but would prefer a short term commitment, 2-3 months+, as my plans may change (will give ample notice before moving out). I'm very social and easy-going, describe myself as an "extroverted introvert" as I love being out with others but do enjoy my alone time as well. I'm happy to share dinner or a glass of wine on a Friday night but do like to get out into the city with friends often so I may not always be around! I'm happy to meet for a coffee or a beer to chat or am available for a quick phone call to set up a viewing.
We are a quiet student couple, we like to share with other people but have privacy, we like sports and watch movies at home. We are learning English and we like to learn by making some friends.
I've recently moved to Melbourne from Brisbane for work and looking to find a good place to live with an awesome housemate or two. I'm pretty flexible with move dates but looking between now and end of Nov. I'm looking to find a nice 2 bedroom/2 bathroom place and I'm happy to pay between 250-350 a week. Ideally I'm looking to have the master room with an ensuite and I'm happy to pay a higher portion of the rent for it, I also don't have a car so wouldn't need a car space. (Not completely against sharing a larger place with 2 roomies if the right deal comes along). I have furniture in storage and have enough to fully furnish the house. I'm a full time mon-fri worker in insurance, located in Brighton. I'm quite clean and prefer a comfortable but tidy household. Im generally pretty quiet and and a bit of an introvert during the week but do enjoy to be social and like to get out and about and also have friends over for dinner or drinks intermittently. Hoping to find someone similiar, who can be social but also enjoys having downtime. Also LGBT+ friendly is a must. Hit me up if you've got a place that suits or keen on teaming up and finding a place!
I've recently moved to Melbourne from Perth and am looking for a fun place to live! I'm 28, working full time as a facade engineer and easy going. Only came here with some boxes of clothes and a motorbike so I prefer being outdoors in my spare time either at the gym, hiking or reading. Would like to check out places in Melbourne and see what's good out there. Looking for like minded hassle free people, would prefer a place for a minimum of 6 months. 😊
We are an Irisb couple exploring Australia on a working visa. We are clean, respectful and friendly. If you like learning new things we can teach you cupla focal as gaeilge (that means a few words in Irish) We are not party people but like going out for a couple of drinks occassionally We also like watching horror and thriller movies. We make a great cup of tea. We really need to find accommodation soon so please help us out !
Hey I'm 22 years old and have lived in share accommodation for around 2 years. I'm quite low maintenance and love a good party but require quite a bit if down time just like everyone else. I'd like to live with people of the same speed! Whilst I'm happy to clean up and lend a helping hand to a busy housemate, I'd like those who I live with to be as independent as I am. Hit me up if you think we'd make a good match I'll make some mojitos xx
Hi my name is Rosario, I am 31 years old, I'm Italian pizza chef. I am a shy boy, clean and tidy and I love animals
I'm Bea, 30 year old female from Berlin Germany with a work and holiday visa. I want to stay in Melbourne for at least 6 month. Last year I traveled through South America and Asia. I like to meet people, traveling, art, music, movies and going out but don't mind staying in. I enjoy a healthy lifestyle but don't mind indulging on the weekends. : ) Just shoot me a message if you'd like to ask me anything Looking forward to meet in person. Cheers
I'm 23 years old guy from Lithuania, East Europe. This is my second year in Melbourne. Studying Fitness. I'm friendly and funny guy. Very easy to communicate with me no matter what. Flexible. Clean (not a clean freak). I may look like a serious guy, but when you get to know me, you'll be surprised. I'm working as a bartender in Italian restaurant at Hawthorn. It would be REALLY nice to live with people who are fun, young, active and social to do something together. Also i respect other people privacy. Everyone needs some chill time in their own room.
Hey there, i am an easygoing person and I have lived in long term flat shares on different occasions with different places and people. Currently i am looking for a fully furnished room close to my workplace in CBD area. I am happy to team up for long term lease if you're looking for one. Cheers !
Hi, I'm Judith - from sunny Barcelona (Spain) to Melbourne. I have been living in Australia for almost one year now and over 7 months in Melbourne. I work full'-time in a startup in Prahran and I enjoy a lot my job but I also work pretty long hours... that's why I like to make the most of my free time! I'm social, easy going and I'd like to say a positive-thinker. I enjoy having a healthy lifestyle, I like going to the gym and doing outdoors activities when the weather is nice, I love coffee and my perfect Sunday plan includes a nice brunch in a cosy cafe. I like preparing my own meals for the week but I also enjoy dining out every now and then. I'm always keen to have fun and some drinks on the weekend but I also enjoy Netflix & Chill type of evenings. I like to think of my home as my sanctuary, I don't mind having friends over every now and then but not looking for a party house. I'm very respectful when it comes to sharing common areas, I like to keep spaces clean and tidy. Being away from my family and friends I would love to live with someone I can chat with, have a tea in the evening afterwork or watch a Netflix show together but I also enjoy spending some "me time".
