Hey! My name is Nola. I'm a 24 year old female born and raised in California. I am American, but my Mom's family is Mexican and my Dad's family is Hawaiian and Swedish, which makes for an interesting mix. I love my friends and my family, but after graduating from college this December, I have decided to shake things up and move to Melbourne for a year or two. My degree is in Internation Agricultural Development from UC Davis, a small agricultural town near San Francisco. So I'm a bit 'granola.' I like cooking vegan and veg food, hiking, camping, backpacking, going to music festivals, drinking hoppy beer, running, tattoos and piercings, yoga, 4/20 friendly, biking, sun bathing, looking at art, crafting, watching Rick and Morty, and reading. As a person, I'm more on the chill side; I like sleeping in and listening to music in my room, but I also love meeting new people and I actually enjoy working when it's something I love to do (like development work). I have lived in San Francisco for 3 years and traveled quite a bit (currently on exchange in the Netherlands now), and am extremely open minded to alternative lifestyles. I'm starting my move to Australia with a bang, going to Rainbow Serpant and then getting on the job hunt. I'm a clean freak, but I've lived in shared housing for 6+ years and understand that everyone is different, so I've never had issues. I'd say over all I'm extremely laid back, friendly, and happy. I'll be moving alone and am looking for my own bedroom.
I'm a 22 year-old full time graphic designer working in Collingwood. I'm sociable and fun to live with but like most people I need some space every now and then. I'm looking for a place that won't be more than 1.5 hour travel to my workplace during peak hours. I would love to live with people who I can also be friends with, are tidy and respectful.
I'm a 22 year old insurance professional who loves cooking, quiet nights and a variety of sports/exercise. I'm new to Melbourne (currently staying in a temp place) and am ideally looking to move into a 2/3 bed flatshare in South Yarra, Southbank, Docklands or CBD. Tentative move in date is set for the weekend of Feb 24th/25th. I've stayed in a few flatshares before and consider myself a fairly easygoing flatmate that is both sociable and tidy. Please feel free to get in touch if you have a listing that might be a good fit!
Am Neha, 24 . I'm from India. But this not my first time coming to Australia. I came to Australia as a holiday trip in May 2017. And that's when I fell in love with Melbourne and decided to do my masters in Melbourne. Am very easy going girl who loves music and gym. And I love cooking and am very good at cooking Indian dishes and love to hear compliments about it 😛 I don't mind sharing the household work. Am a very neat and organised person. I believe in a saying "there can be no real beauty without neatness and order" I like dinners and movies on weekends than very late night parties. I love to interact with you when ever you want to and I also respect your privacy.
Hi I'm Terrence, who is from Mongolia and studying communication as a graduate student in Monash now. I used to live in Clayton and Carnegie, and now I want to live somewhere between CBD and my Uni. According to my former hosts' words, I'm quite clean and easygoing. I have three years experience on renting so I totally understand how to respect others' properties and culture. I'm not a party animal though I enjoy grab some drinks with my friends sometime. Most of time I prefer study at home or library and recently I've invented by my Uni to attend a leadership programme. I love animals but I don't have a pet because I don't think I settle down and prepare enough to have one. When i get some free time I usually cook or clean my room, or go to galleries and museums to appreciate Melbourne's advantages in art resources. As I earn money to cover my daily life cost (my family just pay my tuition) by writing articles, I prefer a reasonable price around 200 AUD including some rents. BTW as my height is 185 cm I prefer a Queen or King sized bed. Feel free to message me and I can send you a video about the last room I lived if you're interested. Hope I can bring you some wonderful experience just like one of my favourite TV series Friends : )
I'm working full time and studying a Master of Public Policy on the side. Auspol and higher education policy is my particular game, but I love a good discussion about anything with a bit of ambiguity. Looking for an organised household that knows how to kick back and celebrate the wins, and with a pretty practical attitude towards home admin.
Hi! I am originally from Brisbane, currently a student at Monash Uni. Looking to find a friendly share house or start one up anytime before next semester starts in late February. I have lived in a share house before, Love all kinds of music and arts, and always up for a chat :)
Hi there! Before I introduce myself, please don't form your opinion about me based on my age, I happen to be 21 going on 40. My name is Clarissa and I'm 21 years old looking to move out from my current place to save money! I'm hoping to move end of Feb or start of March, so if your place is available for then please let me know! I'm looking for an unfurnished room which can fit a double bed and desk. I am currently working full time at a Finance firm in East Melbourne and studying Accounting part time. I can be quite the workaholic so most nights I get home late or I'll be at uni. So I would preferably like to live near public transport, I do have a car but not high priority to take with me if there's no parking. I am easy-going, friendly, quiet, tidy and reliable. I am more than happy to socialize and help around the house but also happy to keep to myself. I'm no party animal but loves a good chat or hangout. Unfortunately I'm allergic to cats and dogs so unless they're a hypoallergenic breed, I can't live with pets :( I go mountain biking on weekends and love yoga, Netflix, baking and can be easily pursuaded to order a cheeky Ubereats or Foodora. Although I'm looking for a home, I'm also hoping to make some lasting friendships! Feel free to message me for more information! :)
I’m a 25 year old architect recently graduated from Melbourne Uni. I’m currently working in Prahran for a small architecture practice so I’m looking places around the CBD, anywhere that is somewhat close to work/short travel time . I’m pretty easy to talk to and always pretty much up for a chat/pint of cinder. I spend my free time reading a fair amount or doing some extra design work on the side to earn them extra bucks.
Hello everyone my name is claire and I'm 18. I'm from Belgium and I live in Sydney for the moment. I'm gonna move in Melbourne the 10th of Feb and I'm looking for an appartement / share house in the City or in Fitzroy. I'm easy going, respectful and funny. Thank you in advance for your offer ^^
Hello. I'm looking to live with just one other female.. I currently volunteer in Front of House for local amateur theatre groups and as a support worker in a residential Aged Care facility. I will be studying reflexology this year and looking to work part-time to full-time as a support worker. I'm looking to plant my feet in the right house with a good fit so we can get the best out of each other and provide a peaceful, caring, supportive and enjoyable home to relax in that is equally our space and that we can share harmoniously together. I'd love the odd catch up but I also cherish alone time to recharge and re boot! My interests include foreign languages, the theatre, eating well and living conscientiously, going on walks and picnics, listening to live music and the odd Red or White! I like card making and reading. And enjoy watching documentaries and comedies. My musical tastes are eclectic and I'd be happy to share an interest with you in this. I love cooking accompanied by the radio and yes love singing along at times too! I am low maintenance and like an easy going relationship with a housemate but I also pull my weight around the house with chores too. I like a household that includes compromise and good communication. Prefer a neat and tidy environment where things have their place :) I have lived in many shared accommodations so have wealth of experience in this area, but it is also a case that I'll never stop learning! It would be lovely to meet you. Celeste
Hi there! :) My name is Friederike and I'm a 25-year old literature student from Germany, moving to Melbourne to study Creative Writing at Deakin University! :) I love travelling and getting to know other countries: I've lived and worked as a barista in Auckland, New Zealand for a year after finishing school and also did a work internship in Reykjavík, Iceland last year. Apart from that, I travel and explore the world around me as much as I possibly can! My passions include yoga, all things creative, great coffee, books, vegetarian cooking and baking, listening to and making music (mostly metal and (punk) rock but I'm open-minded!), socialising in general as well as enjoying fresh air and the ocean. :) Concerning living with me, I love a good mix between socialising as flatmates and privacy. I'm quite ambitious about my studies so I need my daily alone-and-quiet time - but at the same time, I enjoy cooking together/simultaneously and spending time together as flatmates! It's the cosiest thing ever, right? I also like being out and about during my free time and I'm not a "couch potato". When it comes to tidying and cleaning, a clean kitchen and bathroom are an absolute must for me. If you can imagine living with me, drop me a message! I'm looking forward to getting to know you. :) ... oh and one last note: my preferred length of stay is in fact roughly 5 months but this website doesn't offer this option. :D
Hi, I am looking for an apartment with great flatmates with good energy. I have been living in Melbourne/Elwood for two years. I work full time in Marketing. I am an easy going person, always up for an adventure or a glass of wine. Trying to live a healthy lifestyle, go for runs or occasional Zumba classes. I am used to living in shared flats, respect everyone's privacy and appreciate keeping the place clean and fun for everyone :) Let me know if you have a room or would like to team up to find an apartment together!
Easy going, friendly couple from the UK. Here on working holiday visa, settling to work in Melbourne for a couple of months. Both very clean, tidy people, non-smokers and not big party people, just enjoy a couple of social drinks now and again.
I'm an Experience Designer, and all round creative. Currently working for a company which handles exhibition and expo design for large tech and entertainment companies. I love to paint and draw in my spare time, as well as play the guitar. I'm looking for a share situation that enjoys watching movies, Netflix, cooking or having the occasional drink together. However, I'm also quite career focused and highly motivated, this is my first job 1 month from graduating Uni, I was living off of savings as a full-time student and can offer to pay rent months in advance until my job goes full-time. My portfolio might give you a greater sense of my personal values; currently it's still a W.I.P.
I am clean, very easy to get along and a happy person(99% of the times :) ). In IT and hospo, both part time. Never late with payments. Like doing things together with housemates, but i respect privacy and expect the same. Mad about formula1, love cooking, reading, movies. I have great references too.
I'm moving to Melbourne from Sydney with my girlfriend of 7 years to study a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Melbourne. I'm just looking for short-term accommodation while I try to sort out a 1 bedroom unit. I am clean, tidy and because of my degree, I will most likely keep to myself. My girlfriend won't be moving down to Melbourne until late February so it will just be myself till then.

Hello all! I'm Ruby, 24 from Scotland but have been living in Aus for the past year. My current lease is coming to an end and now on the hunt for a new home in the northern suburbs! I'm currently working full time in hospitality in a busy cafe/restaurant in Brunswick east. I'm super friendly, laid back and enjoying living shared house were there is a social atmosphere between the house mates - enjoying a beer together or sharing a meal. I've also been living in shares houses for the past 6 so know how to clean up after myself and keep the place tidy! While I'm not working I'm usually catching up with friends, op shopping, cooking, checking out art exhibitions or put having a little boogie! Would love to hear from you if you have a spare room available and if you want to know anything else please just shoot me a message! Thanks Ruby
Currently working full time in HR and relocating to St Kilda road for work. Also completing my Masters in HR so these take up most of my time, but I still like to have fun when I can. Move date is flexible at the moment so can talk about that. I have a great sense of humour and love a chat, but also know personal space is needed. Love food and drinks and having lived in the Northern Suburbs since I moved to Melbourne I am keen to explore the Southside area :) I like attempting to exercise, so someone who likes the gym, tennis and that sort of thing would be great! The last 3 years I've had really good friends as housemates, so would love to chat for a bit first to make sure we get on quite well.
