Hi I’m Kat, I’m 30yrs old and I’m a Primary school teacher. During the week I’m pretty quiet. I’m always up for a chat however I do respect down time and space. On the weekends I’m usually out about catching up with friends and having the occasional night out. I’m easy going, tidy and like to live a healthy and active lifestyle.
My name is Matt and I am a 28 year old American guy who has just come back from 6 months up north doing visa work and a couple months traveling. I am looking for a place pretty quick so I can sort out my life a little bit and get back into the swing of things. One of the many talents I can bring is an ability to make homemade bread sticks/pizza base/anything else I can think of using the dough recipe for. So homemade pizza and bread sticks are never far away from me. I'm also up to have a chat about any subject or play games(board or video) or go on random adventures. I am looking for a home away from home. People that enjoy spending time together not just people living under the same roof. (That said, I can appreciate when people want their space)
I'm Tom. I'll be looking for a new place to call home in the coming months and keen to find some likeminded cats with whom I can happily co-habit. THE HOME & VIBE: I'm searching for an established home--not a house--where my housemates are kind, respectful, fun and treat each other a bit like a lil' family. Not like a weird, co-dependent cult or anything because we all have own shit going on, but we take an interest in eachother's lives and care. I'd love to live with people who are clear communicators and want to actively contribute to a supportive, clean, calm, healthy, happy and beautiful home environment :) Two or three other housemates with similar wrinkles/receding hairline (i.e. age) of 25-35 years old who are settled, and on a lease with a long-term mindset would be ideal. Home is more of a sanctuary for me: it's lowkey, homely with some nice hygge and adult furniture (i.e. slightly more curated than a random couch found on hard rubbish day. Though don't get me wrong, I do love a good hard-rubbish find); home has a communal atmosphere, where we can watch The Bachelor and complain how sad the show is but secretly enjoy it at the same time (the many house plants can also watch and enjoy with us). Maybe my new housemates could help me hunt down the best parma spots in Melbourne. Admittedly, I think I've already found the best (The Birmy in Collingwood), but I'm open to be challenged. I'd love to be part of a more environmentally conscious home. I don't know all the dos and don'ts, but I'm sad when I see disposable coffee cups and plastic bags being used and keen to do more at home if the house environment permits/is about that life. ABOUT ME: I'm 27 going on 65—my spirit age—and originally from Tassie (i.e. generally nice, like to bushwalk, want a Suburu Outback, two heads… you know the drill). I moved here 4-5 years ago so I like to think I have enough 'Melbourne points' to now be qualified as a fully-fledged Melbourne person. As such, I Iove a good brunch and trying out new courses to learn things like pottery, as everyone my age in Fitzroy has probably already done. I.e. Up with the trends. I work full-time in marketing at realestate.com.au and keep very busy with that and other adventures. My mantra: Sky's out, thighs out: Love the sun (lizard is my spirit animal), always wearing shorts and like to be in the sun doing whatever: biking, napping or sipping on multiple, back-to-back cups of tea (can never have enough) while pretending to read my book or chatting to whoever's around. Fast facts: Apparently I'm a tad awkward but in a good way (I take it as a compliment?). I'm gay, not that it matters but just FYI in case that bothers you, and also because I want to be around friendly people with generally progressive attitudes. As evidenced in the previous sentence, I'm not afraid of the Oxford comma. One day (in the far future when I'm ready) I want to get an Italian Greyhound. Recent Netflix binges: Chernobyl, Schitt's Creek, Special, The Good Wife, Terrace House. LOCATION & PROPERTY TYPE: I’m searching in Clifton Hill, Cremorne, Abbotsford, Richmond or Fitzroy because I work in Richmond, bike my way around (or PTV when desperate enough) and I prefer the north/east vibe. Ever since I left home 7 years ago, I've lived in apartments and this time around, I want to live in a house again... with a yard and all those simple pleasures in life I took for granted growing up :)
22 years old, writing student at Swinburne University (Hawthorn campus). Quiet, likes a clean environment and willing to help fellow housemates when they have problems. Enjoys privacy and respects others' while also hoping they respect my own. Ideally want a place that has heating and cooling already. Has a very progressive mindset and enjoys intellectual things.
Hey there! I'm a full-time student at RMIT doing my postgrad in Aerospace Engg. and work part-time at a medical clinic. I'm an easy-going person and always up for a drink and chat. I like to live neat and tidy, and most of the times I stay to myself being respectful of other people's space.
Hey! I’m Elise and I’m 30! I was in real estate previously - I moved home to the parents place to save however there is no privacy or work in Warragul so I’m making the move back to the inner suburbs and am currently in the deciding stage of which job to take so I will not be unemployed :) I am also studying counselling part time I’m super clean and respectful. Love to cook and am very social however I love my me time a hell of a lot. Im a music lover and love going to gigs etc I would prefer to share with a similar age group (or even a bit younger!) I’m out and about usually the entire weekend and pretty quiet during the week! I’m laid back and outgoing at the same time. I love animals especially dogs too! Hopefully chat soon!
Hey, I'm Cass - turning 30 this year, and work in Marketing. I'm relocating from Sydney to Melbourne for a new job. I'm friendly, social and easygoing; wanting to do a flatshare as I'll be new to Melbourne and wanting to meet some genuine people, hopefully within a similar age bracket + similar interests. I am a foodie, love going for nature walks and exploring new places. I'm looking for a private room (with free on/off street parking ideally), within 20-30km distance to the city by public transport. Looking for myself initially, and then my partner Wes (31) will also be moving once he finds a job too (he is currently in the process of applying) so needs to be flexible for couples in the future please! Looking forward to hearing from you :) Note: please do not contact me for twin-share rooms or granny flats, thank you!
