Hi all, I moved down to Melbourne from Queensland at the start of last year to start work as a physiotherapist. I love what Melbourne has to offer so would prefer to be closer to the city. I've lived in share houses for a few years and have been lucky enough to share with some pretty great people. Happy sharing responsibilities but am a terrible cook.. I'm always up for adventures and exploring and ideally would like a place that feels like home, so would love to find someone social to move in with that could become a friend rather than just housemates. I also have a car so I would be looking for somewhere that at least had on-street parking. If anyone is looking to team up I'd be super keen as well. Preferably in a 3 bedroom place to split costs more but open to anything. Please only contact me on the website as right now I'm living in flight mode. I may take a couple of days to reply as I'm in and out of wifi! Ideally looking to move December or January.
I'm Hao from Shanghai, 30 years old, now a PhD student at Swinburne University. I'm an easy-going, open-minded and sociable person. I'm non-smoker, responsible, tidy, respecting others' individual space. I am quite into travelling, been to 18 countries or regions around China.
We are two sisters. Peaceful, neat and tidy to live with. My younger sister recently finished her Masters from Monash uni and on the job hunt, while I’ll be working full-time in Collingwood, so wanting to live in a location that’s close to the train station, convenient to commute from and affordable. We’ve been fairly financially independent so far with our incomes and savings, but have been supported by our parents every now and then. We’ve got timely rental payment records in all the places we’ve lived. Have lived in both shared and independent accommodations, so are very adaptable.
Hey I'm Dom! Grew up in France but now living permanently down under. Currently working for vicpol and switching stations into the city. On a day off, brunch and coffee places for good chats with friends is my go to thing. Always up for a game of any sports and am always keeping up to date with my favorite TV series (in desperate need of a GoT fix!). On a work day I'm usually either sleeping or acclimating to my shift schedule and keeping to myself, still up for a chat nevertheless! I'm currently looking for a semi spacious room with desk space and ideally an en suite bathroom but can forgo it if housemates are clean :). That said I am tidy and clean and hoping my fellow future housemates are considerate in that regard too! Big no no's: Student accomodation, drugs, criminal records. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hey, We are a young couple in our 30s, well-traveled, worked in various cultures, multilingual, have a variety of interesting experiences to share and easy to get along. I am an experienced finance professional and moved to Melbourne recently from overseas. I have previously lived in Melbourne briefly in 2015 and have a close circle of friends here. My wife is an educationist and more recently moved into jewelry designing, she will be joining me in Melbourne in a couple of weeks from now. We like to strike a balance between work and being fit and although we are not active gym people but try to walk the miles to keep in shape. My wife and I love to travel and we had the chance to extensively travel across the Middle East, Europe and Far East Asia. We are looking for an option which respects privacy of its inhabitants and has a great location. Please give me a call or send me a text if you would like to get in contact. Cheers, Umair
Hi, I am a student currently completing a degree in computer science at RMIT. I also work part-time doing food deliveries. I'm pretty relaxed and keep busy during the week. On the weekends I enjoy sport, gaming, drinking and music among other things. I hope my profile appeals to you, and please feel free to contact me. Thanks, Daniel
Hi, I work full time in the city. I am reliable, responsible and clean. I like a good conversation but also my quality time alone. On my spare time, I like to go out and enjoy the outdoors, socialise, visit friends, or stay in and watch a good movie. 😊
Hello! I'm Emma and have recently graduated after five years at uni and making the big move to Melbourne in early January (around the 3rd) for my career! A little about me...I am organised, very clean, adventurous, respectful and love to cook (growing up in Singapore gave me the chance to learn some yum recipes!). In my free time I like to hang out with friends and family, explore, and play sport/keep fit!
I'm a hardworking, trustworthy and tidy (but not extremely obsessive) roommate who is looking to team up with a new flatmate in or near Melbourne CBD. I have just been offered a contract to work full time (with potential for permanency) in Melbourne CBD, so prefer to move in as close as possible to the CBD. Proven history in paying rent and bills on time, excellent at staying on top of all my finances. I have two University Degrees under my belt and progressing to finish my Third so you will not be living with someone who dropped out of high school! When I'm not working, I enjoy cooking delicious dishes, studying career related materials, reading books of other interests for personal growth and development, cleaning the apartment (of course), playing/coaching/watching basketball, working out in the gym, going to the sauna, swimming, longboarding/skateboarding/skimboarding at the beach (I would like to try snowboarding one day), I can play the Acoustic Guitar like a semi-pro muso, travelling interstate/overseas, and going to concerts occasionally. I'm outgoing but know when to just chill in my own bedroom and listen to my headphones without disturbing my flatmate. I listen to real hiphop, rap and R&B - so if you like those genres too, we are one step closer to being good friends. I'm just an all-round nice guy who is super easy to live with, good listener, with absolute zero interest in drama or interpersonal conflicts (that you hear and see everyday in typical corporate offices) - you'll see when you meet me. It takes a lot to make me angry so any rude, racist (I'm an Australian Citizen for goodness sake!!), insecure, short-tempered or angry people with small/narrow ideas will have zero chance of getting into a long term "mateship" with me. I am not your typical temperamental that gets angry at anything and everything, I'm too smooth for that. To give you an idea, I prefer mango smoothies over (yukks) ginger Kombuchas. I have a global, international, multicultural way of thinking and prefer watching American and Olympics sports - I definitely DO NOT have a narrow minded, one-nation (do this my way or else) mindset so if you're the latter, don't bother. Having said all that, still interested in teaming up? Happy to meet up for coffee or lunch sometime to see if the match/chemistry is right. My current flatmate is seriously absolute hell to live with, especially during my non work hours! :`( Please save me! Call or text me for more info thanks.
Hi I’m Ciara, I have recently finished my undergrad in performing arts. I currently work full time as an Intergration aide at a primary school in the city and aslo studying my masters of education part time. I’m bubbly and enjoy socialising, I don’t take myself too seriously and love to have a good laugh. I also love to relax, watch movies and go out for brunch. I’m very easy going and a positive person who is clean and tidy. I would love to hangout during the week and weekends but also enjoy alone time. I love dogs and will stop in the street to pat them. Especially if it’s a golden retriever.
I will be joining Swinburne University from this November as a Ph.D. Student in Astrophysics. I am from India. I will be studying(working) full-time for my research at the university. I am usually a quiet person who understands the importance of personal space. You will mostly find me reading, and enjoying nature. I love walking and staying active and don't smoke/drugs. I would love to interact and learn from people of different cultures. I would love to travel and explore as much as I can.
Hi future flatmate! I'm an Asian-Australian born and raised in Melbourne's south-east suburbs. I'm currently studying UX and Web Design at Billy Blue as well as working at a camera store. I love doing creative things such as journalling, crafting and photography. I've been into film photography for the last 5 years and it reflects a lot of my creative expression, so you'll probably see a few cameras in my room, which you are welcome to try out because I love showing people how to shoot film. :) The moving date is flexible - I'm looking for a place to stay for at least 3 months until mid to late February, when my partner's own lease is finished, then we will be searching for a place together. I'd like to be closer to the CBD where I work and study, so living no more than 30 minutes away from the city and close to public transport is ideal. I enjoy curating my own space, being clean and tidy is important to me as it helps me feel calm and find what I need, and also makes it less annoying for the house overall. I don't party, smoke or take drugs. I generally keep to myself out of respect for fellow housemates, but am happy to chat about housekeeping or just general life stuff. Even if it's just for a short while, I would love to get along with my future housemates and make it a happy summer. Please do not hesitate to get in touch, and I hope to meet you soon!
hello, I am student looking for a private room, since november until february. It could be a bungalow.
Hi! I am looking to move to Melbourne around December 2018 due to receiving a full time job at St Vincent’s Hospital starting in January. I have rented before and lived in share houses so I am clean and tidy, and respectful of everyone's personal space. Always pay rent and bills on time. Preferably looking for a house that has all the main area furnishings already but happy and probably prefer to bring my own bedroom furniture. Definitely looking at somewhere I can stay for at least 12 months. I will be working full time during the week, and some weekends, and studying as well. Outside of work I love to watch the footy and chill out with some netflix in my free time. Feel free to send me a message with anything you have available!
I'm a social, clean and respectable house mate. I work 9-5 and keep it pretty quiet in the week. When I'm not working I enjoy keeping fit, going out for brunch, doing day trips, travelling and heading out for a few drinks. I've lived in Melbourne for most of my life and like most people who grew up here, I love my coffee! I'm looking to live with housemates who like being social and hanging out together from time to time.
Hi! My name is Nathaniel, I am a 29 year old male. I recently started a working holiday visa in Australia and I am looking for a quiet place to settle down for a few months. I am very clean, tidy and organized and I enjoy a space that is clutter free. I prefer to live in a place with one or two other people. I have done house shares before with more people and had a great time but for this point in my life I am looking for something a little more quiet. I don't enjoy loud music, unless I am at a live show. I don't socialize a lot or drink very much. I'm easy to get along with and will be out working and doing my thing most of the time. I'm excited to find a place and be able to relax in a comfortable space.
Hi! My name is Alex and I am a kind and well manned female eagerly looking to move out of home! I was born in Melbourne and I have lived here my whole life. I work as a receptionist full time and sell vintage clothes online as a hobby and for some extra money. I accept everyone and do not discriminate! I am very easy going and easy to get along with. I am very clean, and tidy. I describe myself as a extremely independent individual. Have just recently travelled to Europe solo. I am in a good head space and drug free. I am considerate of everybody’s space and privacy. My profile states that I am a smoker but I am a very light smoker (0-1 cigarette a day, socially ) and always clean up after myself and smoke strictly outdoors.
Hey Legends! Thanks for checking out our listing! We're originally from Sydney and we have been envisioning to live in Melbourne since last year. We're both from loving, respectful and good valued families and we're looking to add to the positive vibe of a home that aligns with our quiet-natured and caring personalities. We're both into conscious living, mindfulness and keeping our temples happy, healthy and primed for success. We hit the gym regularly, both eat a whole-food plant based diet and love a good night in watching either a good drama, romance or comedy. We're very easy to get along with, love getting to know new people and have a peaceful, chilled and zen vibe about us. We love a good book to read, into personal growth and exploring new cities, cultures and foods. We love a good game of mini golf, go-karting and anything that involves getting out in nature. I, Tyson, work for Masseuse Massage in South Melbourne as a Sales Consultant and working on become a professional currency trader, life coach and professional speaker. I love empowering others to reach their highest potential and the challenge of continuously finding ways to improve the lives of others. In my downtime, you'll find me engaged in a good personal development book, I love audio books and you might hear me play either classical music, chillstep, house or binaural beats as I develop my skills as trader/investor (If I don't have my headphones in so I'm not disturbing anyone). I love my own space but also love to get around positive, awesome and fun people who has the zest for life like I do. Bec, my beautiful sweetheart, has her own business called Purify Your Light as she is gifted energy healer, life coach and spiritual guide. She works at Nudie Jeans when she's not working on her business, loves yoga & meditation, enjoys a quality book and can't get enough of being in nature. She has such a sweet, loving and magnetic energy about her that no matter where she goes, she'll make everyone around her feel at ease, happy and vibrating at a higher frequency. She has a good sense of humour (we both do :-) ) and is driven to make this world a more happier, conscious and loving place. If you can see us being part of your lovely abode and would love us to check it out, we know the universe will align the perfect lil place for us with like-minded people who vibrate on the same frequency. Hope you're having an amazing day whenever you reads this and please don't hesitate in getting in contact with us. Namaste, Tyson & Bec <3
