We’ve have recently moved to Australia on a working holiday Visa to explore the beautiful country and build on our work experience. Were tidy, fun, positive, proactive, sociable people looking to find a temporary home in Melbourne to kick-start our adventure!
Hello! I am a 23yo university student looking for a new home, as I'm just finishing up 5 months overseas. I'm at uni 3 days a week (Monash Clayton), and work 20-30 hours (a pub in Ringwood) on top of that, so I'm pretty in-and-out of the house. I'm looking for a place in between these two locations, so please don't message me if you're in Dandenong, Templestowe etc! When I am home, I generally spend my time sleeping, watching Netflix, and cooking. Whilst I do like a bit of space and quiet to do assignments, I also want a place where housemates socialise and get along. I prefer a clean up after yourself approach to living, but am open to roster systems if they're established and working. I've lived in sharehouses for 4 years now so am pretty used to how things flow. I have a pet reptile (which means he is in a tank 24/7 so no risk of house damage) named Koda, he is 4yo, super friendly, and loves an occasional cuddle. I arrive back in Melbourne on the 11th July, and am looking to move ASAP after that. Max budget is $600/mth excluding bills, or around $700 inclusive. If it sounds like I could be a good fit, send me a message and we can go from there!
I'm working full time and studying so a lot of the time I'll be an invisible housemate. I'm really tidy and don't have any issues pitching in with cleaning. I like travelling, music concerts, food and all those other super cliche things. I'm pretty shy at first and really terrible at bios - clearly - so if there's anything else you want to know then just ask.
I am easy going and work hard, I keep to myself a lot and spend most my time working. I work as a travel agent in Preston I have a partner who lives in the eastern suburbs looking for a house that’s a bit closer to both work and him.
I’m Sarah, 28, Welsh, work full time for a tech company, and I come with my very own side kick/your new best friend, Luna. Luna is my Tasmanian Smithfield pup, and she’s the best. I’m all the usual things, tidy, punctual with bills, Netflix dependent, wine fueled. Usual.
I am very friendly and outgoing but also loves to keep privacy at the same moment . I am a avid sports lover . I am mostly not gonna be at home due to busy schedule at college and work but always up for a drink or two on a Friday evening

I also enjoy cooking and love to share some relaxing time with a nice chat, a glass of wine and good food. I’m easy going person, really clean and respectful.
Hi, Manon and I (French and Australian) are looking for two rooms. We dont mind if it's in a share house or entire house. We are working together in a restaurant in the city. Manon is a sommelier and I am a supervisor. We will have no issues paying bond, rent and bills on time. We love our music, food and wine and good company. We enjoy going out, however appreciate quiet nights at home also. Manon loves yoga and bike riding and will be away at a winery any chance she gets! I enjoy weekend adventures, markets and travelling. In the house we will be respectful and tidy. Look forward to meeting you :)
Hey everyone, I'm Seb and I've recently moved to Melbourne. I'm looking for a place to call home. hopefully somewhere close to the city. I think you'd love to live with me because I'm clean, and quiet, but I'm also super friendly and I'm always down for some drinks or a movie night - anything fun, really. Feel free to contact me about any living situations you have to offer, or may be putting together. Thanks!
We are professional, tidy and dsciplined tenants, newcomer and married couple, arriving by 23rd of July 2018. We are interested to live in 1 bedroom apartment, furnished and close to CBD within 20 mints by public transportation If you have something for us, Kindly hit me Sincerely, Hussein
Hey, I'm Ned. I’m moving from Brisbane to Melbourne in mid-July for work. I am a professional and will be working in the CBD. Looking near the CBD for a modern-ish place (decent aircon, dishwasher etc) with a car space, budget is ideally $200 to $300 (not really sure of market prices yet). I don't have a lot of stuff so the room doesn't have to be massive (think Queen sized bed) but I would like at least some natural light. I’ve lived in a number of share houses and I’m a neat, reliable and friendly housemate.
I'm 23 working in IT sales and moving to Melbourne from Auckland. Looking for a place in the city, or city-fringe. Outside of work, I mainly just hang out with friends (and flatmates!) and keep active. I'm tidy and easygoing, looking for more of a home than just a standard flat. Flexible on move-in date.
Easy going chilled out person. I am a great cook, and very clean. Enjoy company but also don't mind being private. I keep active during the week to drink on the weekends
My name is Adrienne, I am a 26 year old female working as a Practice Manager of a Collins street Dental Practice. I am a very clean, respectful, mature & friendly person & would want my housemate to posses these traits too. I would prefer to live with someone who is aged between 23-35 & do not mind whether my housemate is male or female, however I am not looking to live with a couple. I am open to moving into an existing property & I am happy to supply all of my own bedroom furniture. I would be looking to live in a property that provides me with a private bedroom & either my own bathroom or en-suite, to ensure that I have my own space & that you have yours :) I'd be happy to pay between $200 & $300 each p/w for rent, not inclusive of bills. I am very much into keeping healthy, cooking, baking & during the week I will either be at work or at Yoga. On the weekends I am often catching up with friends, family, cooking or having a Netflix/Stan binge! I would love to share a home with someone who would like to go out for the occasional meal & drinks & is looking to form a friendship, as well as being roommates. Last but not least - I do own a pug named Marley, so whoever I move to a place with must be comfortable around pets! Marley is completely house trained & very affectionate & basically just loves anyone who will give her attention! Ideally I would love for the property I move into to have a court yard or a small yard for her to have some space to run around on the days when I'm not home & she's not at doggy day care. It would be an added bonus if there would be another dog living at the property too, as she would love to have a little playmate. If all of the above sounds good to you - I would love to hear from you! - Adrienne
I'm respectful, tidy, and open-minded. I'm not a party animal nor a prude. I can have a relationship with flatmates or keep to myself.
I am a friendly, easy going, tidy housemate who is working full time (8am - 5:30pm) in Melbourne for the final 6 months of my two year graduate program. I am looking to find somewhere that is centrally located in order to enjoy all of what Melbourne has to offer, but also relish quiet down time as I have always lived in regional areas. I pride myself on being easy to get along with and maybe to share a drink with but also on being understanding of people needing their own space. I love adventuring and outdoor activities along with sport and a touch of socialising. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi there, I’m a not-so-young professional (trader) looking for a nice place in the inner southern suburbs (my previous landlord wanted to renovate). I’m very easy going, love to have a chat or keep to myself as circumstances dictate. I like to keep quite active - tennis, walking, gym, and swimming. Last in my circle of friends to be unmarried - but determined that it won’t be a life sentence! Hope to find a good mix of people and place.
Hi I’m Tim. Moved down from Brisbane in February for a new job opportunity. I work in investment banking full time usually 8-6 Monday to Friday. I go the gym and go running most nights so get home a little later in the evening. Love watching sport and going to games. I have a few mates in Melbourne I catch up with on weekends.
Hey I'm Brodie! I'm a super easy going Canadian gal who has been living in Melbourne since January working full time in fashion design! I'm looking for a comfy place to call home, and a roommate who feels the same way. Preferably furnished since I don't have anything with me, but can manage to furnish my own room if need be. I am really clean, tidy, and laid back, and would love a roommate to have the occasional dinner/ glass of wine / chat/ boogie with. I want us to get along and be friendly but I am also respectful of personal space. For fun I love going for brunch (who doesn't), chugging wine (who doesn't), Netflix binging (who doesn't) and trying out all the amazing restaurants and cafes this city has to offer. Also would be ideal if we could motivate each other to work out once in a while... or not. Drop me a line and lets make this house a home!
I am 23 year old acting student currently residing in Dunedin, NZ. I am moving to Melbourne in July for my studies. I love local alternative music and theatre, and I love checking out anything to do with the arts! I like a clean and tidy living space, and also enjoy cooking food with others, but I definitely appreciate downtime as well.
