I'm Jake, a UX writer originally from Manchester who loves swimming, cooking, yoga (when I can be bothered) and writing - whether that's UX stuff or my own short stories, poetry and so on. I'm moving to Melbourne and will be free from the 14th March onwards. Top 5 things I'll want to do when I get out there are: 1. find some good places to eat 2. get some contract work 3. Start cooking for my flatmates 4. make some new friends, and take them to places I found in 1 5. Get out into the local spoken word/poetry scene. If you can help with any of those or, even better, want to live with me while I discover all of those things for myself (and you!) then hit me up. As long as I have my own room I can work the rest around that :) Let me know if you want to chat! Jake
Gday I'm Harry Looking for a quite place to rest up after busy days of working and/or uni. My weekends normally involve swimming comps or catch up with some mates. I'm moving from Ballarat with 12 months prior experience of renting for Uni. I'm normally very clean and respectful and a very open book. :)
Hiya! We're Nadine (25) and Sofia (25) a Scottish/English Colombian couple looking for a furnished room in Melbourne! We've just arrived in this wonderful city and are hoping to find full-time employment as soon as possible, probably in hospitality. We've been travelling in South East Asia for 11 months but are planning to stay in Melbourne for at least 6 months. We're easy-going and very tidy and although we love going out sometimes, we're planning on knuckling down to save some money! Having travelled Asia for almost a year, we really want to find a home where we are open to be ourselves and surround ourselves with like minded people. We love our own time, but we also like socialising and getting to know people. If you like the sound of us, we'd love to hear from you, Sofia and Nadine :)
Hi! I’m Josie, I’m currently studying full time in the CBD and working part time, ready to move mid March - early April. Into fitness & lead a healthy lifestyle, but I do love weekend drinks and can make a few killer cocktails :) Looking for a relaxed and social house with people of similar age ( 20-25) and lifestyle xx
Over in Australia on a working visa. Down to earth guy who loves meeting people and making new friends. Very sociable and easy to get a long with. Loves a cold beer on a hot day and quite the food lover. Love sport especially rugby and cricket.
Hi, I’m Emily. I’m a full time Maths teacher. I currently live on my own but it kills me how expensive rent is so I’d like to find one or two people who want to live in a share house. I’m extremely neat and very quiet (but not in a weird way), love sitting on the couch watching Netflix and cooking vegan food. I’m a pretty chill person in general. I have pretty much everything needed to fill out a house: couch, TV, PS4, Apple TV, fridge, washer, dryer, KitchenAid etc and am happy to bring these with me and share. I also try to live quite minimally and I’m really into trying to reduce my waste and recycling/composting. I don’t drink or smoke and don’t live with any pets.
Hi! I’m Harrison (26) and I work full time in Hawthorn East as a retail buyer. I grew up in Melbourne and I am looking to move a little closer to work and the city. I am very organised, neat and respectful. I am into fitness, design and socialising with friends over a cheeky vino.
Hi I’m Ciara, I have recently finished my undergrad in performing arts. I currently work full time as an Intergration aide at a primary school in the city and aslo studying my masters of education part time. I’m bubbly and enjoy socialising, I don’t take myself too seriously and love to have a good laugh. I also love to relax, watch movies and go out for brunch. I drink coffee like there’s no tomorrow and love a cheeky wine or anything with gin. I’m very easy going and a positive person who is clean and tidy. I would love to hangout during the week and weekends but really enjoy alone time. I love dogs and will stop in the street to pat them. Especially if it’s a Golden Retriver. I’m probably looking to share with one or two other people and I’m very flexible in terms of location and move it date! Hopefully chat soon!
First year uni student looking for a roommate to share a flat with. If you are looking for a roommate that is open-minded, fun to talk with, memes about everything but still able to respect your personal space, you have come to the right person.
I'm Love, 24 years, I'm an exchange student from Sweden. I like sprots, socialising, going to bars/clubs with friends but also to be at home with a great book. I would enjoy living with most people that are social and fun but also respect ones personal space, I'm easy going but not messy.
I'm a clean, respecful flat/housemate. I clean up after myself and do my bit to keep things in good shape. I'm a friendly, easy going person who enjoys music, cooking, wine, a bit of trash tv, reading, walking, eating... I'm a social person but also enjoy my own space. I work full time in the city and I'm originally from Newcastle, so I'm usually interstate for the weekend every few months.
Book worm, wine and diner, if I didn't have tattoos I'd try my hand at being a flight attendant cause more than half my salary is spent on travel. Eco-living as a personal choice but living within means. Love to reuse and recycle. Flea markets and second hand stores rock my world. (I say this but I don't buy things too often anymore). Live at the library. Like to cook. Will respect your space but up for a chat too. :) I like cats too. So bonus if you have one. Also enjoy the company of any furry creature as long as its not an insect or arachnid, venomous or poisonous. Edit: please don't call me on my mobile, contact through this website please. Thanks :)
Hi there! I'm AJ a full time sales professional looking for a private room close to Melbourne CBD. I would like to live with flatmates who value cleanliness, friendliness and respect their home as their place to relax, and of course someone that likes to have fun. :) I'm 24 and recently moved to Melbourne following my passion for food and culture. I hope to find roommates who enjoy a cup of coffee or a beer or two on the weekend. I love cooking all kinds of food, it's how I switch myself off. I live an active lifestyle, I have a lot of things going on during the week and you can find me in the gym few hours a day. Alternative, I'm also up to teaming up and get a lease on rental property. About me- I’m a 24 year old personal trainer who has just moved to Melbourne, I’m energetic, love to work, clean, have good banter and am happy to sit around after a long week, have a drink and chat with my housemates. I’ve lived in a share house before and love being in a positive environment filled with good people. About Lilly- Lilly is my 4 year old border collie. Shes is the most well natured dog you will meet, shes calm and extremely well trained, she does not take up much room at all and I take her for a walk every day. She is a dog that is happy to lay in the sun and accepts pats from everyone. Lilly does not bark or dig and I will clean up after her daily. I will also take her to meet you so you can fall in love with her as well. Please send me a message as I’m very sure Lilly and I will be very valued members of your house.
Early 30's, originally from Tasmania - been in Melbourne for 6 years. Full time dental assistant in Hawthorn. Enjoys travel, shopping, trashy tv, reading, swimming, catching up with friends, brunch. I'm social - always up for a chat at the end of the day, but also like my downtime and Netflix binge. I sadly have to vacate our current house, as the landlord wishes to do renovations - ideally looking to move into a property ASAP! I'd be happy with either short or long term. I have a bunch of furniture, but would happy put that into storage if needed. I'm not looking for a party house. Pls do not hesitate to contact me if you think I'd be suitable to your home :)
