I'm a secondary teacher of Maths and Science at a school in the Northern suburbs. I am a veteran of share housing and so am tidy and respectful of the space of others. I'm up for a chat but also enjoy time alone. In addition to secondary teaching I also teach performing arts to little kiddos, play board games and watch netflix.
Hi Guys I'm currently working in Mildura as a winemaker, but I have accepted an opportunity in a management role for a construction company in North Coburg. I will be moving back on the 7th of May. Few things about me: I'm well traveled and have lived in places such as NZ, USA, Norway and Cambodia, so I'm very adaptive and find it easy to get along with people. I'm gay, if that's an issue. I like to be social and get involved with the happenings of the house, not really one to sit in my room with the doors closed. Do like a laugh and have a sense of humor. Obviously love wine and am not a bad cook either. I like to keep quite fit. I am house proud and keep things clean especially the kitchen. I have a lot of references that would happily confirm this, should you require them. Cheers Elliott
- neat, tidy and clean - new to Melbourne from interstate - health professional - length of stay 9+ months - car park required (off street would be ideal)

I'm french, 32 and came in australia 1 year and half ago. The plan is to be here more longer . Waiting for the sponsor to be approved, so should be soon now. I'm working as a manager in a thai restaurant near victoria market, full time with pretty good hour for hospitality. Generally monday to friday until 9pm. I live in northcote at the moment. What houseshare means to me is like family, enjoy a glass, a meal, a party, a trip maybe, a chat and laugh times to times but obviously respect alone time aswell. Because I'm french i will try to bribe you with a bottle of wine. So if you have some preference let me know😊. I lived in japan for 4years so in my text a use a lot of emojis 😅 hahaha Cheers
HI I'm a 33 year old male who does freelance work in the film industry. Looking for a place to stay while I'm in Melbourne from mid May to the end of September. I'm into my music, movies, and games (I'm happy to share my PS4 and Netflix/Stan/etc. accounts with the house) but not one to blast things loudly and disrupt the whole house. I enjoy getting out to see art exhibitions and live gigs and drinks with friends, but I'm not one to bring the party back to the house. I don't mind a social house but I will be working odd hours probably from around midday to midnight. So if you want a housemate who is barely there I might be a good fit but hopefully we'd be able to grab a drink on the weekends. Have a lot of equipment for work (that I won't be using on this a job but need to store somewhere) so ideally would be looking for somewhere with a large room, some storage or well as secure parking (so I can leave it all in my van).
Hi Guys, we are Ruby, Mike and Pepito. We are looking for a place to make friends and relax. Mike will only be around later this yr (August to Oct) so it would just be me and Pepi (My cat). I am studying at Swinburne and Mike is finishing off his PhD in NZ. We are clean and very nice to talk with. We are interested in Gardening, trekking and all different types of outdoor fun.
I'm Ryan, 25, full time electrical engineer working with robotics startup. I like music, going to gigs/festivals, having beers and hanging out, looking to move into a fun sharehouse where everyone gets along. Looking to move immediately for the right room! Some things that are on my wishlist but aren't deal breakers: -NBN or fast internet -Garage/Shed for tinkering Some things that are important to me: -Unfurnished room - I have my own stuff -Parking (permit/off street or quiet street)
Hi - I'm a 30+ environmental professional working part-time at a not-for-profit. I'm seeking a sharehouse with open and relaxed professionals, ideally with some space to grow veggies. I enjoy socialising with housemates over meals and drinks, but also respect space and keep things tidy. I love the outdoor, film and art, and curious about other people's culture and interests.
Friendly couple in our second year of university (La Trobe and Swinburne) looking for a place close to La Trobe University & Public Transport. We don't make much noise, generally keeping to ourselves. We're responsible, respectful, tidy, and motivated, and will do our share of house maintenance. We're set to graduate between 2018 and 2019 and are looking to hopefully stay in the same area until we graduate.
So your looking for a flatmate? Someone to look after your beatiful home? How about three? It may sound like a lot... but read on. You'll find we may be just what you're looking for. Hi, we are Billy and Libby. Nice to meet you! We recently moved over from New Zealand and are super excited to get to know our new city. Billy works in construction and Libby works in marketing. We are very clean, tidy and house proud. We enjoy the odd night out, movie marathons and exploring the great outdoors. We live a healthy and active lifestyle, but would never say no to a burger and beers. So who's the third you may ask? Our fumbling bundle of absolute hilarity, Jack. A three year old Doberman, he is very well behaved and to put it simply, he loves love. And bonus - you'll NEVER find him tucked away under a desk chewing your shoe to pieces. The particulars: we are very flexible on both move in date and length of stay but we are looking for something more long term.
We love to play video games, cook and go out or have a drink on occasion. As a couple we are clean, respectful of housemate privacy and animal friendly (with none of our own). I'm everything from a coding tutor to a bartender, and study Computer Science. We are looking for a place where we can hang out during the day when we're not out and about, studying or working. Bonus points for a dishwasher, heating and aircon. We are flexible with bedroom furniture and are looking for long term (anything from 4 months to a year+). Move in date flexible too. Please send us a message!! Would love to hear from you :)
We are a fun, energetic and easy going couple that would love to be apart of your home. Anni was born in Florida, America, but grew up in Finland most of her life, she met me (Massimo), who was born and raised in Melbourne, In Vietnam during our travels. We have only just moved back to melbourne and are in need of a place to stay. Hoping we can be apart of your beautiful home! Massimo and Anni
Hi there! I'm a postgraduate student at Unimelb, and I'm looking for a private room, but I'm open to sharing a room with the right person. Looking for something that's close to public transport - this is pretty important to me. A furnished room is preferred, as I haven't got furniture with me. Move-in date is flexible. I do have to study a lot, so I'll need a quiet place because I'm one of those people who just can't study with noise :( but in my downtime I'd love to chat and have a laugh with my flatmates! I'm looking to make friends and not just to fill a room :) I'm a very positive and friendly person. I love a good laugh and enjoy dad jokes/puns/memes :P I keep my stuff (and the house) neat and clean. When I'm not studying I'm reading, or watching TV shows or movies. Huge cricket fan, and will watch and enjoy pretty much any sport :D I'm new to the city so I'd also like to explore the place but haven't really got round to it yet haha! I hope I've covered everything (these things are hard to write!). Please message me if there's anything you'd like to know :) Cheers, Ally
22yo English/Aussie gal working in a restaurant and occasionally temping in admin. I'm looking to start a course in social work next year (fingers crossed). I'm happy to do less than a year but I plan to be in Melbourne for a while so I'd love to find a place to call home. I moved to Aus from London in September, and I've been in and around Melbourne since November. I'm living in Fitzroy North at the moment with a family friend and I've completely fallen in love with the area so I wanna stay as close as possible. I was born in Sydney, so I've got dual citizenship which is pretty cool and means I can stay forever and I won't bugger off after a couple of months cos my visa has expired. I'm super easygoing, I like to bake, go to gigs/galleries/gay bars, drink coffee/wine, hang out with dogs (cats are cool too but pups have a special place in my heart). I love to party (although I don't want/need a party house - I like to keep it chill at home) and go on adventures. I love to hang out with friends/family and I tend to leave my door open.
Peter and I are coming over for a year on a working holiday visa on the 27th of April. We recently left our full time jobs back in London to travel round India, Sri Lanka and Bali and are very much looking forward to settling down in Melbourne for year to meet new people, get new jobs, work on our business plan while seeing what life's like on your side of the world... We're clean and tidy chilled out people looking fo a place to call home for 6-12 months
Hey future housemate! My names Justin, I'm a 31y/o guy from melbourne. Im into surfing, hiking ,yoga and the great outdoors, but also appreciated a chilled night on the couch. I work full time in the city during the week, and generally start my days pretty early getting into town on the push bike (weather permitting). Im pretty clean, relaxed and easy to live with kind of guy, ive been in a few share houses before so im aware how important respecting each others space can be. In terms of a home, I'm seeking a relaxed, friendly, fun and clean house with respectful and social house mates. Would like an outside space, sharing with two others, male or female, somewhere around my age. Well, this has been great, get in touch if you’re feelin’ my vibe! Juzzy.
Hi! My name is Kalinda (Kally, please) and I'm going to be moving from Townsville to Melbourne in June. I'm enrolled in a Bachelor of Creative Arts at La Trobe University, and work part time in retail, and also as editor/journalist for a sports website. Now that the boring stuff's out of the way, here's a bit about me :) As I'm moving across the country, I only know a handful of people in Melbourne, so I'm hoping to find housemates that I can be friends with as well, but I'm also respectful of your space and won't constantly pester you to hang out with me. I'm an artistic, creative person, and I love writing (especially novels) and reading. I'm a very chill person, who prefers low-key hangouts to going out on the town. I don't do drugs or smoke, and only drink occasionally (that's not to say I'm judgemental, because I'm not. You do you). I also love sports and gaming, but I won't be in-your-face about it (unless you also like sports and/or gaming, in which case we will become best friends). I'm an animal lover, and I come with a 1yo Border Collie named Kida, and a ragdoll/tortoiseshell kitten named Violet. Both are toilet trained and very affectionate (not especially good guard-pets, as they love everyone, though Kida will bark if someone she doesn't know comes too close to the fence). Kida is very well trained, yet very energetic as she's still a puppy, so she's a strictly-outdoor dog. -Side note: I'm from a small, relatively right-winged town in North Queensland. Please don't judge me on this. I may not be thoroughly educated on many issues, but I'm very willing to learn, and I'm sensitive and empathetic :) If you're LGBTQ+, vegan, POC, etc. I am 100% on your side, and would be honoured to be your housemate :)
My name is Deanna (Dee) I'm currently looking for a new share house! My budget is $200 inc bills. I work full time in retail as a manager of a clothing store. No pets and a non smoker! I'm pretty easy to get along with and keep to myself a lot. I do have a boyfriend who would visit a couple of times a week but nothing excessive! I'm looking for a change in atmosphere from the place I'm currently staying. Feel free to contact me whenever!
