Hi, My name is Natalie and I am 37 years youthful, but can be a grandma at times too. Looking for a long term and prefer furnished (but can be flexible) around the areas of Glenroy to Moonee Ponds across to Thornbury/Northcote. Within a 15min walk to train station. Ideally I would a like an inclusive of Rent & Utilities around the $300 mark. I am neat and tidy and will keep the place presentable, but I am not OCD or a fan of a strict cleaning routine. I am a 9-5 office worker and outside of work I try keep fit at the gym most nights and wine and dine to chilax others. Weekends are generally running around doing stuff or just socialising. I enjoy people's company and would like someone outgoing that is home a couple of nights of the week for chit chat, but there are times when peace and quiet is called for too. I am an animal lover so pets would not be a problem.
I work in Financial Services in the CBD. I've traveled extensively and continue to travel. I've lived in the UK and have traveled through Europe and Middle East. I also try to see different parts of Australia. I enjoy meeting people, experiencing different cultures and open to new experiences. I travel back to NZ regularly to catch up with family and friends. I'm active, go to the gym most days, I like to think I'm independent, self-sufficient but am happy to ask for directions if I need. I'm looking for short-term accommodation starting end of Oct/Dec potentially longer if it suits flat mate and myself. In addition, I would prefer to stay with 1 person. I have furniture in storage, if possible I'll require a queen bed, drawers, double wardrobe and off-street parking. If I need to get furniture out I can. I'm clean and tidy as well as respectful people's space and privacy. I'm active so go to the gym most days. Happy to discuss further with potential flatmate.
Hey there, I just recently moved to Melbourne from Alaska and am looking to settle here for the year and work in the hospitality industry. I consider myself to be very respectful of others and my housemates, chill, sociable, and well house trained. I'm also fully capable of paying rent on time. I like a wide range of music, tea, making attempts at cooking dishes outside of my skill level, and going out for drinks on the occasional evening and weekends. Generally looking to live with others who are social and like to chill together in the evenings occasionally. I can move in any time! I'm preferably looking for something longterm, but am open to subletting if it's for 3+ months. Also would prefer the room to be furnished. No share rooms please! Feel free to message me with any other questions! Cheers, Trever
Never have I ever missed paying rent or bills in my life and I’m usually the “cleaner” in most places I’ve lived in. I’m don’t really drink, I quit smoking a year ago and strictly no drugs. I don’t play loud music and I have no friends so I won’t be throwing parties (joking about no friends, not joking about parties). I have a car and would really appreciate off street parking if available. My hobbies and interests include cycling on my bicycle, reading words in books, googling acronyms the young’uns are inventing and pretending I already knew them ages ago, damaging my frail body riding my skateboard, fixing things that are not fixed, surfing the web, saving and rescuing things from landfill, being cool and trendy, making jokes that are not funny. Please don’t hmu if you’re a room hermit that doesn’t contribute to household chores and/or slams doors. Please hmu if you are friendly, mature, open minded, responsible, courteous, respectful, polite and considerate. <3
Hi. My name is Joe. Currently working part time. Looking for a short term stay. Quiet guy who loves to get up early. Enjoy walks and runs and the great outdoors. Don't mind having a chat about sport. If your looking for that quiet person, I'm your man. Love to hear fom you.
Sal and I are looking for a fun summer in the city of Melbourne. Would like to see the highlights of what this wonderful city has to offer. We love live music, outdoor activities but also like to enjoy a chilled night talking over delicious food and wine. I love to cook and explore new food options and well Sal loves to eat. We love meeting new people and easy to get along with. Hope we may get a chance to have a chat together.
Hi future flatmates, I am on the hunt for a comfortable, clean and welcoming place to call home for myself and two gorgeous cats. I work full time in Retail Management, generally 9 to 5, with occasional weekend work. Outside of work I live an active lifestyle, enjoying hiking, climbing, biking, photography and catching live music. My cats are both rescues and indoor only. One has three legs, although this poses no issues. They are placid, lazy and make for great company. They generally keep to me or themselves. Around the home I am active in contributing to the smooth running of a shared household. I am respectful of space and privacy, however enjoy the coming together of a household for the occasional shared meal, drink and a laugh. I am looking for flatmates with a similar lifestyles and attitudes towards share housing; those who are done with party house living. If this sounds like you; let's chat. Cheers, Alana
Hi guys, I'm after a new place to call home! Ideally place that is clean, tidy and light. I would like to live with others who are friendly, respectful, mature and trustworthy. I am very clean and tidy. Also friendly, fun, respectful, considerate and down to earth. I will need to sign a lease or contract and the bond has to be lodged with the RTBA. I require a fully furnished room and a parking space. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hello potential housemates/house owners. Sarah and I (Talea) are moving to Melbourne next year as we are both starting jobs with the same company. We both studied at university in Brisbane and are excited to make the move down. We do not know each other very well as we have just teamed up to move together. We are hoping to find someone else to move into a house/apartment with us in Melbourne. Being near a train station is a must, we will be working in Docklands not far from Southern Cross Station so easy access to that is a priority. Also, we would prefer to have a non-smoker. We would both like to get a place that is less than $300 per week each, including all bills (e.g. internet, power, etc.) Other than that, read a bit about us below. My name is Talea, I am 20 and about to finish my degree is Business. I have spent the last few years living in house sharing accommodations so living with new and different people is not new to me. I really like sports and I am an avid rugby fan. Upon moving to Melbourne, I am hoping to get a cat so I that you would be okay with having one around the place. I am pretty easy going and like to have a laugh watching TV and movies. I also like getting out and about, especially playing sports and I hope to explore Melbourne a lot more when I get there. Also, I have a boyfriend of 3 year who unfortunately can't make the move with me but will be visiting often so you will get to meet him too. I enjoy spending time with others but I like to have space and alone time too so I won't be in your face. I hope to hear from you. I’m Sarah, I’m 23 and starting a job like Talea. For hobbies I like doing crafty things like knitting, sometimes arty things, I also like to read and bake. I’d say travel is my favourite but it’s not something I can do all the time, but I can still try new things here. I want to go explore Melbourne, and see what it has to offer, maybe do some hiking and stuff like that. For exercise I need a friend or to do social sports because I’m so bad at self-motivating. So, I’ll probably join some team or course. My current dream is to grow some plants without killing them, probably succulents because I’m a realist. I like to be friends with my housemates and I’m still really good friends with a few past housemates, but I’m an introvert at heart so you don’t have to worry about me suffocating you with always wanting to hang out. I’ve lived in different share house situations for about 5 years now, I know how to keep a place clean and split duties. So I’d like someone who is keen to hangout and have a chat at times, washes their dishes and won’t shame me for eating raw cookie dough.
Hey guys, Naj here! I'm a 31yo who has called Brisbane my home for the last 14 years, and I have finally made it down to the cooler city, for work and to be closer to my mum and sis, who moved here a few years back! So I start working for the Victorian Government next week, and am currently staying at my mums until I find the perfect sharehouse home. I've been living in sharehouses in my beautiful West End in Brisbane for the last 7-8 years so I am very house trained. I am very clean, and consider hygiene, doing your chores and washing up after yourselves to be a number one rule of being a cool housemate. I love to chat and socialise with my housemates but I also like my own time and respect your need for some down and alone time too. I love to have good beer and wine and indulge in cooking adventures. I love to share as well and believe the more communal the house is, the more it is a home. As far as what I'm into; I love film, hiking, camping, my yoga practice and riding my bikes. Not in lycra. Just to commute and to be environmentally conscious. I'm also interested in social justice causes and trying to make our world a kinder and sustainable place to live in. (I used to have dreadlocks and did a bit of travel in my mid 20's - totally not a cliché) I also love going to gigs, having a boogie, going to festivals and plays. The abundance of all things art and creative is another reason why Melbourne has drawn me in. I also love dogs and prefer playing records to having the tv on. (and long walks on the beach. heh) I've visited this town many times over the years and I have a few friends scattered around. But I'm looking forward to joining a family sharehouse home where I can put some roots down for awhile and explore this city with local knowledge and insights and characters. That's me in a blurb form, but I would love to meet you all face to face and have a chat in person and see if we fit, and get along, and share the same values. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hey, I'm Flynn :) I'm 19 years old and have been living/flatting in Melbourne for two years now. I'm currently studying at full-time at La Trobe and working at Woolies in Toorak so I'm out and about almost all of the time. I love books, jazz, dogs and paying my bills on time. I'm a pretty passionate cleaner but I don't expect that from others, best of both worlds! Currently looking for a place in the Inner North, so if that's you than give me a bell!
I'm a full time student at La Trobe University, I am an International Student originally from India, I do not mind pets except cats because I am allergic to them. ABOUT ME: Easy going, relaxed and chill, tidy, an ambivert, I will respect your privacy and expect the same. I'm looking for a room in a shared house, or would like to team up with a budget of $120pw (including bills). If I like the place, I might stay for more than one year Please contact me on this website if you think you have a place that is suitable for me :)
Hey my name is Cesar, I am a Columbian guy who moved down to Melbourne over 2 years ago. I have a 5 month old puppy named Cleo and she is a LabradorXHusky. I am a neat and tidy person, who likes to go to the gym whenever I can. I'm easy to get along with and am looking for either a room or a team up. Please let me know 😁
Hey legends. Here's me at 34, trying to settle down, appreciate the small things, ya know? Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy a drink and a sick party on the weekends but I'm more likely to find salvation in the pages of a book, the midst of a conversation or a meal on the stove than at the bottom of a bottle on a Tuesday night. I work 4 days a week as a web developer but I still harbour secret thoughts that the book I wrote last year will spark into a career as a journalist - that's what my fifth day is for - writing.
I am an easygoing, sociable, tidy guy and work as a painter and decorator. I also have a 10 y o jack russell, Bertie who is well behaved, friendly and gets along with other dogs and cats. We are looking for a positive, relaxed and friendly place to live. Having said that I am respectful of other peoples space and like to have my own quiet time also.
I’m a 25yr old fully qualified plumber lookin for a new home for myself and my dog Mickey who is a 4 year old Boader Collie who is friendly, well trained and loves a belly rub. A few things about myself: I love gaming so I’d want to move somewhere with good internet connection or willing to upgrade ( at my expense). I’m a skater. I Dj on the weekends. I’m very tidy and considerate of others. Always up for an adventure. And I don’t like spiders. I’m in no rush to move out where I am atm so move in date is just ballpark
Hi guys! I'm an Italian girl in Australia since the last April. I'm tidy and clean and for this reason I prefer to live in a place without pets, but I love dogs!!! I like TV series, reading and karting, and I really love to share a bottle of a good red wine =D! I'm looking for a room in a share house from the end of October, because I'm finishing my 88 days of the WHV in this moment!!! Thank you heaps!!
I am bubbly talkative human being who is always up for anything and gets along with everyone. I am completing honours at La Trobe university. I love meeting new people although I may seem shy at times and tend to go with the flow. I pride myself on being super organised and love animals, the outdoors and delicious food.
