Hi, I'm Casey. I'm 19 years-old and a full-time student at ACU studying teaching and arts, majoring in maths and minoring in literature. I work part-time in hospitality on weekends. I moved up from East Gippsland to Melbourne at the beginning of the year in order to study, so a country girl at heart. I'm friendly and love a good chat but I still respect other people's personal space. I'm clean, I know how to cook and I'm not loud. I'm more than happy to help out around the house with cleaning/cooking etc. I'm pretty easy going and enjoy reading in my spare time. Always down for a movie night. I don't drink or smoke, but love a good cup of tea or coffee. I'm looking for a place that is preferably long-term - 9+ months would be ideal, though the longer the better. Please feel free to contact me anytime :)
Hey there, I'm looking for a place to move into in mid-late December. I work as an Outdoor Ed Instructor and I'm away most weeks on school camps but then also teach PE part time. I like chatting with housemates but also respect that we all need our alone time. I love the outdoors - I surf, snowboard, swim and go to the gym I love sports - I play and go to the footy, enjoy cricket and work the Australian open I enjoy quiet nights at home, cooking (inc baking!) and walking along the river and through the park :) I'm also a Christian and I'm passionate about my faith. I don't mind living with Christians or non Christians but just ask that you respect my faith. I would really like some outdoor space to have a cup of tea and enjoy the sunshine. It would Asiago be super beneficial to be near a train line. I've had chickens in the past and would love them again :) Ive also lived with super hairy cats and dogs and that's not my fave! Hit me up if you want to meet up :)
Hey! New to Melbourne, commencing work as a doctor in Melbourne's northeast. Looking to live somewhere along the train line between the CBD and Heidelberg. Been living out of home for some time, so beyond living like a student. I am clean and tidy, looking for relaxed housemates who are keen for a communal meal now and again and look after the place. Girlfriend is in Melbourne so looking for a place she is comfortable staying for a couple of nights a week. Will be pretty busy at work, but when off work usually either out eating, riding/running/swimming/rock climbing or studying.
Vegetarian, playwright and theatre director. I’m clean can cook a few interesting things but it’s definitely not a passion. If there’s the chance to grow any of my own food I will take it. I’m not big on parties or going out but I can appreciate a good whiskey or a great wine and a good gig. Very flexible move date
Hello My name is Luna I'm 23 year old musician and writer. I love animals, cooking, travelling and meeting new people. I have lived with housemates before and I’m respectful, super clean, social, independent and love to hang out with my friends on the weekend. I love writing songs, reading and chilling to Netflix! I have a small cat who lives in my room, she also likes to be outside but not other parts of the house! I’m looking for a place to move into by mid December. Preferably something close to public transport and the city! Luna x
Hey, my name is Casey! I work full time and study so my schedule is pretty jam packed. I work pretty early most mornings (usually on weekends as well) so I'm not big on the party scene. I enjoy cooking and the gym and generally keep to myself and am pretty quiet but enjoy a good chat. I like a clean home where I can just relax after a long day. I'd love to live with like minded people, if this sounds like you hit me up for a chat 😊
We are looking to share with another couple. Ideally a large house with plenty of space and a garden. Happy to live 30/40 mins from the CBD to get an amazing place for the budget. We both work full time and are not party animals during the week... If you enjoy a glass of wine, BBQ and good conversation in a garden or brilliant living space let us meet and get to know each other. We both recently moved to Melbourne and have lived in Collingwood for a few months and now feel a bigger space would be better. Dan is an AV designer from the UK and I am Namibian working as a Travel Agent. In our free time we love design, camping, cycling and travelling.
Hello there! I am Manish Kumar Patel, age 26 years and I am about to start as a PhD student at The University of Melbourne. I am an Engineer by passion and easy going man. I do not interfere with other's private life and wish to get the same reciprocation from the mate. I did my masters from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT), Mumbai, India. I am a Hindu by practice and faith. I prefer Veg cuisine but do not have any issue with non-veg. I do not smoke and drink. I prefer to go to running during evening hours daily, sporty by nature. I would also like to explore the nature and nearby places. Positively looking forward to engaging with new friends there. No issue in sharing the room with other students. I prefer accommodation with food arrangements.
Hey guys, I have just finished my Honours in Botany at La Trobe University and I'm looking to continue my studies with a PhD over the next few years. Seeking a share-house near uni but am open to suburbs a little further away and am flexible with the move date. I have lived in share houses since I was 20 and quite enjoy it when there is good chemistry between housemates. I have also owned and lived in my own home and have backpacked extensively through many countries including Greece, Mexico, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. Most recently, I spent a year in South America where I volunteered on farms, couch-surfed with many locals, and made a short film with students in Colombia. I used to party a lot but those days are well and truly behind me and Im looking for housemate who are on the same page. I still enjoy the occasional glass of wine. I like to keep things tidy and happy to clean, garden and chip in around the home. I dont mind a bit of a chat. Apart from uni, I work casually as a TV/Film background extra (been doing it for over 10 years) and I also help out a mate every so often with his furniture repair business. I stay fit by hitting the gym and riding my bike to get around. I like: Seeing the happiness in everyday life, simplicity, laughing, gardening, permaculture, exercise, Qi Gong, camping, tidy and peaceful atmospheres, equality, respect for one another etc. I get along best with open-minded, free spirited, positive, creative types who are self-motivated and passionate about what they do in life. People who are thoughtful and respectful are also highly favoured. I'm also very interested in starting a share-house with like-minded people if an opportunity arises. I have some furniture, including a queen bed, desk, small dining table, and a two-seater plus chaise lounge. I also have a top-loader washing machine and a huge 520L like-new fridge. Happy to store some of these items if they are not needed. Happy to answer any questions and I'm really looking forward to seeing what's out there. Cheers
Student; Masters in Physiotherapy at La Trobe. From BC, Canada. Never been to Australia before. I am very easy going, love sports, the beach, surfing, going out and meeting new people. I love to go catch a game or a couple beers. I am very clean, non-smoker and will be studying lots, but I like to go have fun to balance out a stressful workload. Looking for a roommate or two, preferably in their 20's or 30's that are up for some adventures while I spend two years down there.
Hey there, I'm a 38yo teacher recently returned from two years working the The Netherlands and travelling around Europe every chance I had. I have a 4yo hound called Billy, who keeps me moving and giggling. He's a staffy cross koolie. I like to swim, garden and get to the beach. Netflix is a winter weakness and white beers and G&Ts my summer achilles. Love to live somewhere with friendly people who like casual convos but happy to give lots of space too. I'm tidy, financially savvy and respectful. Cheers, Katy
A 40+ professional writer and educator, I'm neat, clean, easy to get along with (sociable but also independent). Have lived overseas and done housesitting so respectful of others and strive for harmonious relationships. Spiritually minded and fun! Good references from landlords. Very conscious of paying bills on time. Adore animals ...
I'm looking for a social, friendly and fun place to call home. I work full time in the CBD Monday to Friday so weeknights are generally very quite for me. I like to socialise with the people I am sharing a home with, whether it be the occasional home cooked meal or a glass of wine and cheese. I appreciate some quite time to myself too, either binge watching Netflix, playing music or at the gym. I like to keep the house tidy, although not obsessively so. As long as everyone mostly tidies up after themselves, I'm happy. I am very social and like to both have friends over occasionally and go out on weekends, but I respect the others in the home and never bring the party home. I am interested in a home that is respectful of everyone and judgement free. LGBT friendly is a must.
I am a IT student. I am a clean, friendly, easy going person. I love playing games and watching movies and tv shows a lot and i enjoy gardening too. Looking to share a 2 bedroom or 3 bedroom house/apartment Feel free to message me and ask me for information if i have left something out.
I currently work part time in Retail and are pretty much a home body but like the occassional good night out to meet new people and socialise. Love to cook and entertain friends over small dinners or a BBQ. I live a quiet life and are respectful of others and their private space. Also don’t mind sharing with pets.
- Generally tidy and love decorating my space - I work school hours and will likely be out of the house a fair amount with roller derby commitments - I have a male indoor cat named Merlin, he is pretty chill and he's very friendly but not great for people with allergies - I have my own furniture from my current apartment - I am looking for a queer* friendly share house
Hello! I'm looking for a private room to rent, preferably located near a train station on the Hurstbridge line! I'm a very mature, level-headed person who has worked in a corporate environment for 4+ years. I'm currently working full-time as a business trainee in the public sector where I'm a Human Resources Assistant. I'm not into nor have I ever lived a loud or party lifestyle (I enjoy the occasional social drinks though!). I mostly keep to myself and live a quiet and pretty peaceful life, though still enjoying meeting new people and interacting with others from all walks of life! I don't smoke and am not a heavy drinker (never been drunk in my life! wow.) -- but have 0 issues with people who do (live your life how you want to, it's none of my business!) I've grown up in a bad home, so I'm very understanding and completely open and respectful of others and their circumstances! I'm half Thai / half Australian (a dual citizen!), my first language is English :)
I'm easy going, some times I'm out late a few nights a week, then I'll be home for several nights in a row as well. Up for hanging out with some all of the house mates at planned things and have a solid group of friends to maintain as well so I'm easy hopefully :). The only thing I want whereever I live, is secured parking (that will rule lots of you out I'm sorry guys), I have a new car and I want to keep it covered, I've made many compromises over the years to make sure it always had a roof over its head at least, if not in a full garage/underground spot. No dietry requirements, just don't really like fish, oh I have a coffee machine and am a bit of a coffee addict.
Well, I am quite an outgoing person. I love nature, travelling, the wilderness, arts, music definitely, movies for sure, dancing my most relaxing thing to do, i love taking walks and definitely sitting and having a book and a cup of coffee after a long day. I always respect other people life and what they do. Just as how I would love them to respect mine. But definitely to have people to mingle around and also to spend time together. Am always a person thats up for something new.
