After a two years unfortunately my landlord has decided to sell the property so I'm looking for a new place :) A little about me I guess, I love to bake but I don't love eating baked goods so I hope you're ready to get showered in sweet treaties. I'm incredibly average at art but I do love a good crafternoon with my pals. I binge only the finest shows(self-proclaimed) Netflix & Stan has to offer. I can't go past an op shop without taking a cheeky look inside. I'm always listening to music and do love a good groove in the lounge room - however my dance moves are a cross between an 80's disco and something equally as terrible. I'm always keen for a board game, hang or adventure. I'm sure that I've missed a million things about me I've forgotten but I'm sure you'll get to know them if we get the chance to live together! Happy roomie hunting 🌸
Hello! I'm Claudia and I'm 20. I study acting full time at QUT in Kelvin Grove and am looking for somewhere close by to uni to rent, preferably with a couple of women close to my own age and circumstances. My uni schedule is super busy so I’m rarely home, but overall I'm really sociable, easy going and tidy. I'm not able to move in anywhere until early July 2019 so please do not reach out to me if you need something for earlier than this :)
Hey, I'm James (30). On paper I'm a nerd but I think I'm pretty normal actually. I just spent a year in the US, now I'm back in Brisbane and need to find a nice clean place to stay close to UQ and RBH. Ideally I want a modern 2 bed, 2 bath unit. But would consider a bigger house if I had my own bathroom. I'd prefer a furnished house and am flexible on bringing my own bed. Ready to move in ASAP. Non-smoking housemates only. Bonus points for undercover garage. --- About me --- Work: research chemist. Fun: eating out, cooking, cycling, running, photography, travel, Netflix binging. Good housemate qualities: trustworthy, responsible, pay rent on time, clean, tidy, respectful, quiet, considerate, won't judge when you sit on the couch all weekend. Neutral housemate qualities: sometimes up for long chats, sometimes keep to myself, expect equal contribution to housework. Bad housemate qualities: Probably more sensitive to noise than most.
Looking for 2-3 bedroom place! 2x Student Nurses doing shift work. Looking a 2bdrm place for myself and friend in the same boat with no other housemates. Preferably furnished with at least kitchenware and white goods. We're both neat freaks and will keep your place immaculate.
Hey guys!! My name is Chelsea (but you can call me Chels). I’m a born and bred Adelaidian making the move up to Bris to begin my PhD in oncology at QUT/PA hospital in the middle of 2019. A bit of background about myself: - I’m 22 - I have quite the green thumb and have a huge collection of indoor plants - I play high level basketball - I’m half aboriginal/half Czech - I’m extremely clean - I have a beautiful, well behaved 9 year old rescue cat called Bug who will be joining me! During the week, I will be out from 9am-7pm, so I am very low key during this time. On the weekends I prefer to relax on the sofa with a glass of wine, takeout food and a good movie. I may also be convinced to go out for dinner or to a gig. Ideally, I’m looking to share a place with 1-2 other people who have a similar work/study schedule. Any age, gender and sexuality is absolutely fine with me. As I will be in Bris for at least 3 years, I am looking for long term stay. Please let me know if you think my fur child and I would be a good fit for you!
We are a pair of university students, I study Arts at UQ and Jaz studies Creative Industries and Business at QUT. We do have a few pets—two fish, and a snake; who you will love we promise. We're looking forward to finding a nice place with like minded flatmates.
So let's start off with with my most noteable trait which is I'm a nerd. I love D&D (If you know that is, maybe we can start a game), I spend majority of my time on my computer. But as much of a shut in as I can be, If you get to know me I'm quite friendly and sometimes talkative. I do currently have a partner but she has her own living arrangements. (Just hope your ok with her visiting.) Also if you worried about finding someone who is slack with getting money on time, don't worry about that with me. (I hate the thought having to be in debt to someone.) Although yes I'm on Centerlink as long as I don't get stuffed up, I'm always on time. For future plans (if you're interested) at the moment I'm getting ready to study a diploma of interactive and digital games in July at South Bank TAFE Queensland. But considering working part time after I get use to studying. Honestly not much more beyond that, just trying to get sorted. Looking for people who can accept me, have a least a bit of a sense of humor (if you couldn't tell by now) and of course, nice and reliable. (Would be amazing to find a fellow nerd, but fret not if you aren't. A place to live, is a place to live, no the less)
Hello!! My name is Felipe and I am traveling to Brisbane on June 11 to study English. I am a very friendly and respectful person who likes to spend time doing sports and sharing with friends. I am also very clean and neat. I am looking for a private room in a share house close to the city, with nice people to live with. PS: I also love animals, so if you have pets, I can give them treats and train them for free :) haha
I'm a shift worker, and do medieval stuff as a hobby. I really like to sew, and am a crafty person. I can cook a couple things, and am happy to to joint meals or keep it all separate. I'm tidy and while I don't like cleaning, I'm willing to invest in a robot vacuum.
I’m a very easy going person, and very excited to meet new people! I’m Canadian and will be living in Brisbane for 6 months to a year! I love working out, and living a healthy lifestyle. I’m quiet, but outgoing! I’m looking for a place to live that I feel safe, where my roommates are kind, aircon and something close to the gym I work for. Look forward to meeting you! (:
