I'm moving to Brisbane from Townsville to work at the RBWH. I am very conscientious and clean. I work 10-14 hours a day, so I have no time to party or make a mess! Otherwise I just chill on my computer, study, or nap. Non-smoker, LGBTQI friendly. I have no kids, but I do have a kitty, Waffles. I hope to bring the kitty with me as she is a sweet companion and incredibly neat. I also have 2 Italian greyhound dogs that will be staying with my parents in Townsville unless I find a place that accepts them.
I am looking for a room with ensuite in a share house (as $200 is around my budget!). I start Masters in Developmental Psychology next year at QUT Kelvin Grove - looking for somewhere comfortable to make home before I start in Feb. I am clean, easy going, friendly but respectful of privacy and reliable!
Hey, I'm Darcy. I work in disability support, usually day shifts but occasionally overnight. I'm looking for somewhere reasonably close to the valley, in my free time I'm usually at Netherworld playing pinball, going to gigs or reading. I'm tidy, respectful, and generally pretty easygoing and easy to live with.
I study media and communications full-time at QUT Kelvin Grove and sometimes work as a casual AV technician setting up corporate events. Sharing a place is more comfortable when people are prepared to communicate, and actively listen if any issues arise. I've lived in many share houses and I know how to tidy up after myself, the importance of a friendly chat and when to give others some space. I've got my own bedroom furniture and need space for a queen bed, study desk and other bits and pieces. Some storage space would be a bonus. I like to cook at home as often as possible, ideally in a vegetarian household, but this isn't always possible. Practising music at home is important to me and I'm respectful of noise levels. I like watching the news, current affairs, documentaries, and on-line TV series (Love The Handmaid's Tale/ Counterpart / Deep State / The Orville ) which I'm happy to do in my room or with others. I like to attend live music jams, swim, do yoga in the park and meditate at home on a regular basis.
Hi, my name is Morgan I’m 24 and a full time chippy, pretty quiet and kept to my self but just as happy to be social. My weekends are usually filled up by either working or watching footy in the winter and beach days and camping in the summer, All in all I’m pretty chill and easy going.
I’m laid back, neat and tidy without being a freak about it. I love to be social but also be respectful of space. I work full time in the city. I do have a friendly 10 month old female German shepherd but she doesn’t bark, has been trained by a professional trainer and is fully crate trained. Please feel free to message me if you would like to know anything else.
Fulltime worker with cute puppy. Studying Geoscience while working so not a lot of spare time during semester. love the outdoors but also love a good chat over a drink. Arts & crafts, gardening, plants, healthy lifestyle but happy for uber eats & netflix.
I am a French-Canadian teacher. I have been here for 5 years now. I love to connect with people, learn new languages, dance swing, cook something healthy and yummy and share it. On the weekend I enjoy trekking, looking at birds, reading & catching up with friends. I am environment conscious. I like to meditate, and I like to work from home in a clean and peaceful environment. Things you should know; I have a weird English accent now. And I am happy to pet and play (a lot) with any animal that you might have!
Hi my name is Alina, i'm an 18 year old student who is looking to move out sometime between 2019-2020. I'm a fun loving, chilled kinda gal, I love music and going to gigs (so roommates who enjoy good vibes and live music would be amazing) and always down for a drink or two. I like to keep things neat tidy, organised and enjoy my own time as well. I am currently working as a waitress in South Bank meaning I work most nights. I have enrolled for university 2019 and currently hold a diploma in Event Management. That's pretty much it, feel free to contact me and more then happy to tell you more about myself.
Looking for a peaceful place to call home. About us: We enjoy cooking healthily with fresh produce, going to markets and exercising. Hanna works full-time FIFO in mental health. Sharna works full-time as a Remedial Massage Therapist. We are a couple who try to be environmentally conscious and we love animals. The Dream: Living close to the water, public transport and local parks. Being in a social house of people with similar interests, sometimes playing board games or catching up over a drink. Also, we love dogs! Necessary: LGBTI+ friendly. Own ensuite. Large bedroom. Spacious full-functional kitchen and inviting living areas. House with large fridge and washing machine. Unfortunately Hanna is very allergic to cats. Open to signing a lease, living in an independent house, joining an established share house, or creating our own share house. We have one car, bedroom furniture, and own linen and kitchen things (no large appliances). We don't drink often and are non-smokers.
Hellooo, my name's Abbey, I'm easy going and will pretty much get along with anyone. I'll probs be a lil shy and awkward to begin with but once I'm comfortable that won't last long, well the awkward will, I'll forever be an awkward turtle. Anyways......... Ive been living out of home for a year and I'm keen on making some new friends in the process of house hunting. So, I would love a place where we can chill and have a chat but will also be very respectful of personal space. I'm not gonna lie and do the usual "I'm very clean and tidy" because in my own space I can be a lil bit messy butttt I'm very tidy when it comes to shared spaces and I will always clean up after myself. I work part time as an child and aged care worker (yes I know very different ends of the spectrum) and I'm studying fulltime at QUT doing a BA in Human Services. I'm an amateur photographer who loves to explore and star gaze. I love to cook, am obssesed with stripes & quirky socks and absolutely adore animals, so any type of animal is a massive plus. I'm a vegetarian so it'd be awesome to live with some fellow vegos but that's not a must, just a bonus. People who know how to keep plants alive would also be a massibe bonus and I would love y'all forever because I love plants but can't keep them alive to save myself. My current lease ends on the 10th of Jan but I can move as early as the 1st if need be. I'll need parking of some sort as I've got a lil red thang that just functions as a car (I'm happy with anywhere as long as I've got somewhere) Well that's a lil bit about myself, I'll stop rambling now but if ya think I'll suit your home flick me a message as I'd love to hear a bit about yourself & your house 😊
G'day peeps, I will be beginning my 2nd year studying at uq md program and want to be near the rbwh. I plan on also finding a part time job. I like cooking socializing soccer yoga hiking and camping paying my rent on time I don't like poison oak electronic male nicholaspolussa at google mail dot com thanks for reading, cheers
Hiyaa, I study paramedics and nursing full time at QUT in my final year so I am on placement fairly constantly. I have two casual time jobs, one at woolworths and the other at a medic company. Like to go out for drinks to maintain my sanity. Would be looking for some housemates that have a clean chill house with for 9-12 months. Cheers :)
Hi everyone, I'm Marco, 31, and I will soon move to Brisbane to start my student visa. I'm a tidy and respectful person, well, probably nobody has ever said otherwise ;-). I'd describe myself as a friendly and easygoing guy, who will probably be very busy with the study, work and gym. I'd rather have my single room but I'm open to share the room with the right person. I don't mind living with smokers and I love cats. I need a parking space for my vehicle, it doesn't matter if it's on/off street or whatever kind of park it is. That's all for now. Thanks everyone Marco
Hey guys! I'm currently entering my fourth and final year of full-time study (Dual bachelor of Business/Creative Industries at QUT) working part-time in retail and completing an internship. Looking to move closer to uni into a shared house in December! I'm easy going, keen to make friends, would love to live in a sociable environment where we can have a chat or hang out occasionally. But also love my own quiet space to relax and recharge in-between. In return I'll be respectful of your space. Usually pretty busy with study and work but every now and then I like to have fun and go out to gigs/festivals/have some drinks/outdoor activities/anything involving food etc. I have a 15-year-old childhood pet Missy the border collie who I'd ideally love to bring with me (she's usually an outdoor dog, very chill and sleeps a lot) so moving in with some dog lovers would be great, she will want your pats If you want to know any more just ask!
Hey I’m Tristan I’m 20 years old and I enjoy socialising and the outdoors. I’m looking for a place with a group of easy going people who love good chats and great food. I work part time in hospitality and want to be an aspiring aircraft engineer. I enjoy a few causal drinks after a work day and am self sufficient with my everyday living
Hey there! My name is Mia and I’m in my second year of a Business and Behavioural Science double degree at the Queensland University of Technology. I'm from the Gold Coast, so I'm looking to move up to Brisbane to avoid the commute that is slowly eating away at my sanity.. I’m hoping to find something that is convenient to either Garden’s Point or Kelvin Grove campuses (either by foot or public transport) , and am happy sharing with girls, guys or couples. Having my own room is a must, and although I have a preference for my own bathroom, I'm happy sharing too. I also have a car, so parking either on or off street would be good. I’m pretty chill, and really love my music, especially acoustic guitar and live gigs. I've travelled all over the world, and have spent time travelling extensively through Asia, and even spent some time living in America as well. Whilst I’m often up for a good chat (and especially love sharing travel stories) I also like my private time, and I’m pretty quiet and respectful of others. Although I like a tidy place, I am not over the top about it, and if you have any pets, I will give them heaps of love too (unless you keep spiders, which I probably wouldn’t love - haha). I would ideally like to find people who share a good sense of humour, are kind hearted, open-minded, well organised and mature, to teamup or move in with. Feel free to message me if you think we could hit it off. I look forward to hearing from you :)
Jess is a high school teacher and part time director. She loves dancing, costume parties and reading. Jess just moved back from 2 years in London, she’s looking to buy a houseplant. Alice is a delightful pink-haired retail worker. She likes pandas, Taylor Swift and also likes dancing.
My name is Josh and I'm 32 and work in international education. Mostly working with universities to develop study tours overseas. I work from home, so I spend most nights out. In my free time I enjoy live music, theatre, and a good board game night. Love a chat and am quiet, clean and respectful.
Hi everyone! I work part time in hospitality whilst studying a Diploma of Nursing at Southbank Tafe. I enjoy binging netflix, true crime documentaries, reality tv of any sort, podcasts, and an embarrassing amount of uber eats. I bring with me the most adorable black cat in the entire world, Neville, and a washing machine if needed haha! I'm respectful and clean, and enjoy being the right amount of social with my housemates. Looking forward to meeting people and finding the right fit! :)
I'm Kenji from Brazil, actually I born in Japan but I live in Brazil since 9 years old. I'm web developer, digital designer and sometimes a web development teacher. I like to play acoustic guitar sometimes, take pictures of new places, drink beer and watch TV shows. And I'm going to Australia to improve my english because of my career. I'm going to study at Langports near from Roma St, for me it would be nice if the accommodation was near from the school, to save the money and time with public transportation.
