Hi, Originally a kiwi, I have been living in Australia for the last 10 years. I have had a recent promotion at work and am relocating from the Gold Coast back to Melbourne. I am clean, tidy and respectful of other people’s space and belongings. I’m looking for a home that is drama-free and peaceful. I enjoy spending time with my friends at festivals, comedy shows, catching up for brunch and generally exploring what the city has to offer. It would be great to find flatmates I could share a meal or a glass of wine with every now and again. Kylie
I'm a recent Uni graduate (bachelor of Arts, specialising in fashion) and have recently moved to Melbourne. My plan is to find work, then go up the career ladder in my own field when opportunity allows. I'm tolerant of other cultures, lifestyles, etc. I mind my own business normally. I'm pretty quiet, I don't drink to excess, I have never smoked and never taken illegal drugs. All I ask for is a room, bed, wardrobe and somewhere to put my computer. I would like a private room in an existing share house. Sorry, not interested in teamups or room sharing. Dealbreakers: - nowhere to store my clothes or set up a desktop computer - smoker who smokes inside - illegal drug use - intolerant / nasty
Hey! I’m in my first year of Primary Teaching and I am looking to move out to be closer to work. I love a wine or 2 & boogie on the weekend but also equally love to mellow out
About me, I'm 24, I'm currently studying my final year of my commerce and arts degree at deakin in burwood and working part time in a fruit shop in richmond so will be able to stock the fridge with fruit and veg! I wouldn't say I am a hide away in my room person but I respect the down time of others and appreciate my own. I love food and do enjoy a good cook up so would be down for a wine/beer over dinner for sure if we are all at home. I regularly go to the gym and I like to cycle on my roadie. I have the ability to pay bills on time and I am a neat and tidy man to live with.
Both Bo and I are 19 years old. I am studying a Bachelor of Health Sciences/Bachelor of Arts at La Trobe University. I also have a job at the Coffee Mob at the MCG and am looking for a more part time/casual job alongside it. Bo has a mechanic apprenticeship with Kmart Tyre and Auto in Hawthorn. We have moved over to Melbourne from Tasmania. We are both very outgoing and always up for a bit of fun. I am very OCD so the place will always be clean and tidy on our end. I love to cook and adventure. Love exploring different cultural foods. We are looking for a place that is closer to Hawthorn for Bo's work and somewhere to start us off.
Myself and my pooch Tiger are looking for a new place to call home. I'm working in hospo at the moment and plan on finding a full time job depending where I move. My dog Tiger is my 8 year old baby. He's a small pomeranian x, he's house-trained and not yappy. Chill as, I've never had a problem in a share house with him. Rent, bills will always be on time. I'm clean, respectful of privacy and don't like drama. I just want a chill pad with like minded people with a positive vibe. I don't mind a few bevs here and there, I love succulents and gardening... Anything you want to know ask away. Cheers
Clean and respectful. Always up for a laugh. I enjoy an active lifestyle and socialising. I work as an engineer and will be relocating to Melbourne from Tasmania.
Hi I’m Nick, I’m from England but live in Australia permanently now, fun and social love going out for a beer but work full time as a plumber so pretty quiet in the week. Like having a chat but also having my own space.
Hi there, I moved permanently from NZ for work. I am looking for unfurnished room with own bathroom with a carpark. I am a clean and tidy person. Fun loving into healthy food and fitness but also love a great food and a nice Vino. Enjoy being social and having a good time. With that said I'm happy to chill out and have a good Netflix sesh. also love to have a good laugh so you'll probably catch me laughing at myself a lot. I'm Friendly, clean, easy to live with, happy, energetic, polite and respectful.
Hey guys, I'm 19 and looking for my first place out of home. I work part-time at Nevermind Bar in Hawthorn and sing on Friday nights at Amber Craft Beer, also in Hawthorn. I do have a pet budgie that stays in my room. Reason for moving is that I'm ready to move out of my family home and take care of myself. I love to spend time with friends, but also enjoy down time alone.
Graduated from RMIT University last year in a Bachelor of Computer Science and currently working as a Web Developer in Richmond. I grew up in the country, moved to the suburbs and keen to settle close to work or a place where my dog and I can live comfortably. Really easy going and tolerant guy, always keen for a chat but can also keep to myself. Aware of etiquette, always cleaning up after myself and looking to find like-minded individuals. Other than that, I love to cook, exercise, and read just about anything on the web! My dog lives outside so looking for a backyard of any size and loves humans more than dogs (I know right?).
28 year-old full-time Software Engineer (working hours 8-5ish) who loves gaming (board games and video games), camping, keeping fit, reading and going out. Been living in and around Melbourne since a very young age, rented a lot and always had full bond return. I like things to be tidy, but I'm not a clean-freak. Looking for a mix of social and solo-time, preferably with people aged roughly up to mid-30s. Have 2 dogs - a 5-year-old Husky and a 1-year-old English Pointer x German Shepherd - both well-behaved and well-trained. Happy to provide assurance in the form of extra bond or pet agreement, etc. I'm adaptable and like to think I'm easy-going, also have quite a few pieces of furniture and appliances to bring to the table (no pun intended?). I'm a decent cook and used to cooking large batches of food and I'm house-broken (used to doing the chores required to keep a tidy place). Would also love to get together and start a share house - shoot me a message!
I'm a fun, easy going person who enjoys chilling with a good book as much as chatting over a good drink. I'm originally from Brisbane and have been living in Melbourne for 3 years. I love Harry Potter and Lady Gaga and when I'm not working in retail I'm trying my hand at radio and improvised comedy.
I'm a very chill housemate, tidy and respectful of other people's spaces. I like to socialise and have drinks/watch movies and whatnot with my housemates but I will also spend a bit of time in my room painting and drawing. I'm vegetarian and like to cook a bit, am also great at taking care of the dishes. I have a cat who is very loving and energetic, loves cuddles and being played with so I'd be happy to share his attention with others.
I'm a full-time mechanical engineer and looking for a long-term rent. I'm a social, energetic, outgoing person. I'm very organized, tidy, clean after myself and respect others privacy. I would enjoy a chit chat, hanging out, having a drink and sharing a meal.
I'm a consultant recently returned from 6 months living in Chicago. I try and keep relatively fit, enjoy spending time out in Richmond or having a beer with the housemates. I'm fairly clean and tidy, and respectful of share-house living! Ideally looking for a house, rather than an apartment.
Hi, I'm 25 years old and studying cartography and I will be moving to Melbourne from April 1st through June 30th to start my thesis research at Monash uni. at Caulfield. I'm from Denmark but have been living abroad in Germany and Austria the past two years for my masters. I enjoy sports in my free time, but haven't settled on a preferred one, which means I have been doing orienteering, fencing, hurdling and flagfootball over the past years. One constant sport is alpine skiing and to some degree cross country, but I don't know where that's possible around Melbourne. Besides sports, I read a lot, I enjoy beers a lot - I'm looking forward to the craft beer scene in Melbourne! I enjoy coffee most times of the day, and I could spend an entire Sunday binging on a netflix series (Given I'm only in Melbourne for three months, I hope not to do it as often). Around the house, I like to be clean and prefer some kind of agreement about these things (I've been living at a lot of flat shares the past years and I prefer having a clear sense of what to expect when moving in). I hope to have a flatmate who wants to do something around the city at times, but mostly I just look forward to experiencing a new and exciting place! I'm looking forward to getting to know you and Melbourne too! Best wishes, Roar Engell
Hello there! Just a little bit about myself as we are complete strangers! Originally from Bunbury, Western Australia, about 2 hours south of Perth. Moved over to Melbourne 1 year ago to pursue a more pro active city life. Have lived in two places while living here but my current residence is in south bank, looking for a new place as my current housemates are quite messy and not very consistent at cleaning as i do most of the work, plus our rent just went up and its a little too expensive for how much i work. I work at a skate shop in the city about 4 days a week and ride my skateboard pretty much every other day. I'm constantly outside of the house during the day and hanging with my girlfriend most nights . Not much of a party animal but ill have a beer or two on the weekend with the boys while out skating but that's about it. I'm a very tidy person and i appreciate a nice and clean house and more than happy to take turns in buying house supplies such as toilet paper, dish washing liquid etc. I'm quiet and low key as ill be chilling in my room most of the time or otherwise cooking up a storm in the kitchen ;) If this seems like a housemate you would want in your life i'd me more than happy to get to know you a little more & talk more about your room available :) Cheers Shaun
In the darkest of nights 29 years ago long before dawn broke across the horizon, amidst the deepest pain and highest joys a child was born the likes of which this world has never seen before. They would be destined to change the world. I hope to meet them one day, we share the same birthday. :) So… I’m a Melbourne native. I came from a big family, grew up fighting aliens and avoiding homework, and along the way became passionate about artificial intelligence, the galaxy, entrepreneurship, fitness, mediation, relationships and human minds. At least that’s what I seem to talk about after a glass of red. When out in the world I fall over trying to juggle being the best version of myself and not taking life too seriously. Fun Fact Time! - I work full time in Software Support. - I eat all of the things. - I have a pet cat Genghis (like the Khan) and occasionally 2 others Ebony and Gemini. - I have half a postgrad in economics. To be continued…. - I’m really good at listening carefully and then giving bad advice. - The gym is a recent habit I’ve picked up. - I read a lot. Good writing is more important than genre. TL;DR I’m a 31, clean, fun, working professional, have 2 cats and won't murder you in your sleep.
Just a gal looking for friendly housemate(s) to find a nice place together xx I’m very clean & organised, respectful of your space but always there for a chat! You can rely on me for paying rent & bills on time and keeping communal spaces spotless I work in St Kilda, but currently living in Berwick which is a bit too far away! Looking to move mid year but earlier if possible :)
Hey! We are 2 easy and outgoing people with a staffy x kelpie dog, always up for a chat and a drink or two on a friday night, we play videogames and watch netflix socially on the reg. We are very mature for our ages and often get mistaken for being older than what we really are! We are both very clean and respectful, and very punctual with bills, will most likely pay well in advance. I (Jarryd) Work full time as a customer relations consultant with Honda Australia, and work during the day, My partner (Shay) is a bartender at a hotel casual and works both during the day and at night (usually finished around 9pm) we aren’t both looking for someone who won’t screw us around and will hopefully end up being really good mates with!
