Engineering student at UC in my last year studying software engineering and networks engineering. I work part time, clean, tidy, considerate and organised. I spend a lot of time studying and in my free time i like to cook, gym and socialise :)
Originally from Nepal and lived in Melbourne for 8 years before moving to Canberra for studies. I'm a fun and outgoing person who likes conversations mild to wild, maybe not too wild. I'm curious about life and the world so I read quite a bit and can talk about most things. However I do keep to myself mostly, like a decent clean place and am respectful of others. I do like to cook at times and enjoy a good red wine or a chilled beer and whoever I'm sharing the place with - will get to sample my infamous Himalayan dumplings or momos as they are lovingly called.
Hello :) My name is Manjari, originally from Melbourne, and I currently work full time in the Public Service. I'm friendly and social but like my own space and respect the privacy of others. I'm clean and tidy by nature. My current lease is almost up so looking to move into a new home before mid-December :)
I am a student at CIT and I work part-time as a bar supervisor at QT Hotel. I like to keep the house tidy and like to keep my privacy. I also respect others' privacy but wouldn't mind occasional chat over drinks. I will mostly be working during nights and weekends and the rest of the time I will be studying.
Hey there! I'm a 26 year old high school teacher looking for a housemate (and a property). Have teamed up with another girl, a grad lawyer from Melbourne moving up in January. I'm fairly quiet to live with, as I am doing full time teaching and doing my masters, so in the afternoons and weekends I am either at the gym, marking work, or studying (or stress eating). I'm very clean, I cook often, and I'm organised. I have two cats who sleep 20 hours a day and currently spend their day split indoors and out. I'd prefer someone who has lived with/likes cats, as mine are very friendly and like company.
Hi, My name is Sam and I am moving to Canberra from Sydney to start the Grad program with the Department of Home Affairs in Feb 2019. I am aiming to move in around the middle of December but it can be earlier in December, subject to discussion. I am very flexible with the length of stay but at least 6mths is preferred. I am a quiet, tidy, clean and easygoing person and am equally comfortable with hanging out with flatmates and making friends as I am spending time to myself and giving everyone space. I like to fill my free time with activities such as Scouts, reading, music and ceroc dancing, and hope to pick up some more hobbies and activities to help keep me busy and adjust to a new city.
Easy going, clean and happy person to live with. I don’t mind a little bit of mess but hate dishes sitting there for days so if you clean up after yourself we’ll be fine :) Would prefer a female household and not all males.
Hello, we are exchange students coming to Canberra from Canada for Semester 1 in 2019. One of us is studying at ANU and the other at UoCanberra. We are both clean roommates, who are looking to be immersed in what the city has to offer, and super excited to meet new people!
Hey, I am just finishing studying year 12 whilst also working as a Manager at McDonald’s, so I spend a lot of my time out and about. I am currently living in a share house and I’m just looking for something new. I am 18, however I am very responsible and mature as I have lived out of Home since I was 14 due to difficult circumstance. In my spare time I am a competitive dancer, training multiple times a week and travelling to Sydney to compete. I spend a lot of time with my long term boyfriend and he does sleep over once a week, so this would need to be okay. Next year I will be studying Nursing at uni whilst still working and dancing. Having so much on I do mostly keep to myself however when I do have free time at home, I am more then happy to hang out and watch tv or have a good chat. I’m a respectful, neat, responsible and caring person in nature and am looking for somewhere safe and comfortable :)
Pay rent and bills on time and clean up after ourselves. Also own a very friendly 2 year old Beagle who has all the necessary vaccinations etc. Ellie teaches young primary school students and I work on Air Conditioners. If we're not at home we're usually off somewhere coastal exploring!
I'm Steph, 23 but old at heart. I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne for a graduate program. Even though I am a graduate I've been working for a year as a research assistant and I've lived away from home for 5 years (I'm originally from Tasmania), so I'm not clueless when it comes to sharing my space. My hobbies are bushwalking and crochet while watching my latest show on netflix.

Hi, I'm Stacy! I'm 25 and I am working full-time in government. I am active and social and love keeping busy. I am a relaxed, clean and tidy person and I am also very respectful of personal space but enjoy relaxing and socialising over a glass of wine. I am looking for a place to move into by the end of the year, and happy to move into an existing sharehouse or start a new one (would love to look for a nice 2 bedroom 2 bathroom place with one other person). If you have any questions for me please don't hesitate to ask!
I needed a delicious glass of Malbec to start this profile. If you don't know what Malbec is.....then listen closely. What you are hearing is the sound of Argentinian winemakers weeping uncontrollably. That was a touch dramatic... Anyway, about myself. I'm 34, full time professional and former public servant (now I work for a certain New Zealand based outdoor gear retailer). If I've learnt anything from living in 9 cities on 3 continents, it's that flexibility, a good sense of humour, and compassion go a long way. I enjoy a social drink and you're likely to find me in the kitchen with a glass of red and something delicious in the pan. And yes, I clean up after myself:) While I do love sincere conversation and genuinely like to connect with the people I'm living with, I'm also very respectful of others' space and privacy. If I've had a hard day I'll probably retreat to my room to watch Scandinavian crime dramas and possibly indulge in some connoisseur icecream. Having lived in a few share houses, it's about balance. I'm one of those rare people who straddles the introvert/extrovert divide (INFP/ENFP split), so I tend to get along well with both because I have both those aspects to my personality. Wow, this is starting to feel like an essay, so I won't keep you much longer. I'm just a fan of the written word, and I generally don't do things by half-measure. What am I looking for in the ideal room? Hopefully it's large enough to at least fit a double bed, desk, chair, and set of drawers. I would love to find a furnished room, but if it's unfurnished, it's nothing Ikea can't remedy (and watching me assemble Ikea furniture is amusing....like watching fur seals trying to go up a staircase. It's a trainwreck but you can't look away...) Anything else I should mention about myself? I enjoy healthy food, good books, good tv series, current affairs (I was an Asian Studies and Language major at uni), languages (a little Korean and French), exercise, and if it weren't for a somewhat recent MTB crash on Stromlo, I'd probably be mountain biking every other day. At the moment I'm just filling the void with some good hill-running. So yes, if you're looking for an easy going, responsible, down to earth, humorous, and tidy housemate...please get in contact:) I'm ready to move from about November 20th but I'm flexible. Getting in contact: I work full-time so the best way to get in touch is by email or text message. Look forward to hearing from you :) Cheers, Marty
Hey there all, I’m a part time/full time retail assistant manager (Jay Jays) at Woden and Belconnen so I’m looking for a place convenient for public transportation (I don’t drive). I’m 20 in January and have lived out of home for 2-3 years and had multiple apartment leases with real estate in both Melbourne and Townsville. I am a friendly and easy going chic who is great for a chat. I have some artsy habits, a bit spiritual and a love of all things cooking (yes I will cook for you 😂). I am clean and tidy (having grown up with military parents, lots of discipline and respect was taught) and I’m fairly quiet apart from some occasion music and I love my own space and privacy. As long as we all respect eachother we will get along wonderfully ☺️
My name is George and I have just moved up to Canberra for work (full-time) and I am looking for a share place to live. A little bit about myself: I am generally pretty relaxed - while I do like my down time, I do enjoy a chat or occasional meal with my roommates. I like to keep fit. I run, swim, do yoga, so I tend to be out a fair bit doing something active. I don't tend to have people over - I usually prefer to go out when catching up with friends. I do like to keep a clean place, and will always be respectful of my roommates space and property. I am pretty flexible on location, move-in date and length of stay. Please feel free to ask any questions.
I am a teacher in a high school Autism Unit. I run after school sport twice a week, and play sport myself. I am on an ice hockey team, Floorball team, and an oztag team. I often have very busy days. I am polite and respectful person. I can be very outgoing, but like my personal space too. I am American (Yes I have an accent-and no I didn’t vote for trump🤣). I have just been nominated for a permanent visa so I will be here for the next 5 years at least. My housemate is about to move in with his partner so I am stuck... and would love to find someone with similar interests.
Hi, I’m planning to move to Canberra from Sydney. I’m a fun, easy going person who’s very sociable and easy to get along with. I work full time, night shift and day shifts, so I’m not home too often. But when I am, I’m clean and tidy, and will always help out with housework. In my spare time I love to play video games, watch Netflix and go to the gym. ☺️
I'm 31 and work full-time as a health professional, moved down from Sydney two years ago to finish my postgraduate studies. I'm easy going, enjoy sharing a meal, watching TV shows, reading, and being active. On my days off you're likely to find me hitting the gym or playing futsal. My preference is for a sharehouse with one or two other people. I'm friendly but know how to give give people space. I can look after a home and keep things clean. If it sounds like I'd be a good fit please feel free to call or message me.
I'm from Canberra. I'm 22. I'm a bit quiet but I try to be polite always. I use headphones if I listen to music. I don't leave room lights on. I dry off inside the shower quickly, so floor isn't ruined. I currently study at CIT in canberra
