Hey Team, I'm living the search to find a place to call home, recently coming back to Melbourne from working out on the big white Mountain of Mt Hotham. I'm 20 years old. Currently training to be Bar manager in St Kilda, love humans and creating good Memories. I also enjoy down time, I feel we all need a little rest time to time. I have a car so location location is not an issue, very relaxed individual, trained to be tidy (on ya Mum) If I branch out to you or you somehow stumble across my profile, don't be shy to say Hi, I'm from WA so we believe everyone's our mate. Literally. If you made it this far down, Thank you for reading. Dan
Looking for some awesome people to live with in an apartment or house around Richmond/South Yarra/Caulfield area :) (Furnished room preferably, or at least a room with a bed) I'm a 28 yr old female who loves good food, relaxing with a wine, keeping fit, socialising on the weekend but am just as happy chilling at home. I'm moving back to Melbourne to start my PhD in visual perception/consciousness at Monash (full scholarship which is basically the same as working full time). I love trying new things and going on adventures/meeting new people :) I'm also really open minded, don't take myself too seriously and love live music and gigs. (and the usual stuff, rent/bills always paid on time; clean and respectful of others space but also very friendly)
Friendly, easy going and polite Estonian couple discovering Australia. We recently graduated uni and decided to discover the world before settling down. Backpackers with suitcase. We respect everyone's privacy and do like to have our privacy as well. We always clean after ourselves. We would prefer a room with our own bathroom, but shared bathroom is also good as long as we don't have to share it with 5 people.
Hey everyone! I am looking for a private room for Feb 7th, 2017. A bit about me, I am a young professional working in commercial banking. Have been doing it for a few years and have recently been considering a career change. Possibly open up my own business! I am quite social and love to meet new people, but also balanced and can give space too. I'm very transparent and hope to find some mates who have the same values/interests. I am quite flexible with the duration of my stay. I prefer to find a place that is furnished and tidy. Close to public transportation and grocery stores are always a bonus! Looking for a place that is around $200/pw inclusive of utilities and internet. If you have something that may be of interest please send me a message! Look forward to meeting you!
Hey I'm Chey, I'm 17 years old and am looking for a place to live as I have to move out of the home I'm currently in by April. I moved out of home shortly after I turned 16 which is when I moved to Melbourne and have been flatting/boarding ever since. I've just finished high school and will be starting uni full time this year studying exercise and sports science. I also work part time at grilld and usually work night shifts. I'm a pretty down to earth guy, I don't go out too much as I'm pretty work and study orientated. I'm pretty talkative though and I love getting out and going to the beach and doing fun stuff like surfing and hiking etc I'm also transgender and I thought I'd just put that out there because I know some people may have an issue with that. I'm also real into music and play guitar and sing aswell as dance
Hey. My names Ben I'm 23 currently working full time as a carpenter. I'm a pretty relaxed house mate. Enjoy my sports going to the beach and socialising with mates. Bills are always paid on time and always clean up after myself.
G'day, My name is Laurie. I am 40 years old, Australian, and work as an excavator operator. I Have a 6 year old male short hair border collie named Bon who is very friendly and house trained, he is a very well mannered dog. I am looking for an easy going house where my dog is welcome inside. Would be nice if i was moving in with people that would enjoy sharing time with him. The ideal situation for me would be living in a house where maybe someone that loves dogs works from home or a house with another dog and secure yard as i hate leaving him home alone whilst at work, not because that's a problem, just because he is so intelligent. I have vintage taste, I like older style houses that are furnished with second hand stylish bits and pieces though open to modern, I am also a music lover and like to collect vintage audio equipment, vinyl records etc. I am not one to watch a lot of TV i prefer to have music playing and i listen to all genres though I also enjoy peace and quiet. I have lived overseas spending nearly 10 years in Scotland and a couple in Ireland, Where i actually rented rooms my self to people so I am big on respecting your fellow housemates. When I am working I start on site at 7am, so I am generally getting up at around 5, I take a quick shower ,make my lunch and shoot out the door. Times may vary a little depending on where I am working. I don't want to live in a party house, its 2017! I am giving up smoking so would prefer a non smoking household, my intentions also are to start living a healthier lifestyle, I want to be closer to the beach for both my self and the dog, maybe join a gym etc. Though i also want get out and enjoy the restaurants and be able to go down the local and chill with my dog and a cold beer on nice days. I would also like to extend my social network which is part of the reason for moving to the city, I am currently down the Mornington Peninsula which has its limitations. My intentions are to also keep saving for a house, so i don't want to go overboard on rent, though i will be happy to pay a bit more for a place with a bit of space, and that is most importantly right for my dog. I don't have a lot of furniture, I would only be bringing bedroom stuff, kitchen stuff if needed. Though I am pretty resourceful, have a Ute, and I am always op shopping or hitting Garage sales...if there is anything needed i will find it. No i am not going to furnish a house with rubbish! (-; You would be amazed what i find. I think I would like to be living with people around 35 to 45 though I am open to anything really as long as it feels right. I also have a motorcycle (GSXR1000)so if there is room for that, that would be excellent though not essential. I think that will do for now until i can think of more...please ask me any questions, and i will do my best to get back to you asap. cheers Laurie.

Hi there, Australian/European 28 years old Professional/part time student AOU student. I am currently Working 5-6 nights at various locations around Melbourne in the security industry and study part time. When I have spare time I try to go to the gym or the dojo and catch up with family and friends. I love the beach, Kayaking, fishing, Camping, reading and pc gaming. I do not drink or smoke. References available as required. Looking to move in before the 11th of February, this date is flexible. House mates who are easy going, respectful, honest, trust worthy, respectful of others things/privacy with good sense of humor and a generally positive outlook would be a bonus. I use my PC quite a bit when at home for studies and gaming so a decent internet connection is required. )10 MB +) A clean neat house hold on or near the beach, with a view of the beach would be awesome! However by no means conditional. I have a car, PRACTICAL CAR PARKING NEEDED I have a hospitality back ground with much experience in kitchens, so I'd say I'm a reasonably good cook. Although I find these days i'm more inclined towards cooking delicious efficient healthy meals. Organic ingredients wherever possible! I don't mind sharing food with the house mates as long as a viable fair sharing system is in place. I have my own cutlery, Tupper ware, plates, mugs, a toaster, small fridge, wine fridge ( maintains perfect drinking temperature)and a juicer for the kitchen. Happy to sell store or donate furniture that is already available in the house. I have all my own furniture for my room including my super gaming pc. I'm an easy going room mate who enjoys going to the gym, playing and watching sports, cooking and the occasional social drink. I plan to eventually buy a place and am looking for somewhere in the short term (6 to 12 months) to stay while I get to know the city a bit better.
Hi, I'm Georgia, I work full time and I'm studying part time online to develop my career. I'm outgoing, friendly and not going to lie, I don't mind a chat. I'm quite social, usually out with friends and doing something, I'm not much of a homebody whatsoever. I am looking for a housemate, however its important to me that it is someone who is friendly and has some similar interests. :)
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Arts (photography) at RMIT in the city. Before I moved to Melbourne in January 2016 I was a journalist for a country newspaper and have since moved away from writing and started using my cameras a lot more (including film and vintage polaroids). This year I hope to start a personal blog to maintain the passion I have for writing. I photograph music and people. I have worked for Groovin the Moo and Falls Festivals and many renowned artists and bands in the three years since I decided to pursue photography as a lifelong career. When I'm not taking photographs I play music, both guitar and piano and this year I am taking up vocal lessons with the hope to pursue a solo music project I've had in mind for quite some time. I'm originally from the country and moved from rural South Australia in January 2016 to begin studies here in Melbourne. I am now in my second year of a three-year course and will need to secure accommodation before the end of February. For the meantime, I am currently staying with my friends in Ferntree Gully. I have been a club photographer and do enjoy being social, going out for dinner, drinks, brunch, coffee and engaging in great conversation and building friendships, something I didn't really get to experience in the sharehouse I was in last year. I am a neat, tidy and sometimes quiet person who enjoys their quiet time just as much as the social side of things. This year I hope to find a bubbly, friendly, mature and sensible household to become part of as I believe that surrounding yourself with the right people with an abundance of positive vibes and energy will only stimulate my creativity and really fulfil the expectations I have placed on making this year my own, as well as an uplifting and rewarding year for the people around me too. I know I got a little bit long with this but I hope to find a great sharehouse or even something to myself by the end of February or else I might have to put my degree on hold or something as I will have no means of accommodation here in Melbourne and I really, really don't want that to happen. P.S I am also a huge dog lover, I miss my furry friend back home so badly, but if you have a dog, it is certainly no issue, it would actually be a huge benefit.
Reliable, relaxed, very neat, likes tidy. Currently a beauty therapist student studying and also working in a spa. Likes to be healthy and active from Gippsland so travel from Melbourne to Gippsland and around Victoria a far bit so won't be home all the time.
Easy going, looking to share with like minded person/ house mates. Looking for a warm and friendly home environment. I am very respectful and know the importance of sharing to ensure a happy space and home life.
Hello! I'm looking to team up with a happy, healthy flat mate who has a positive energy who likes to have the occasional cup of tea or glass wine but knows when space is needed. I have a pretty quiet personality and am not looking for a party house. I work a lot as an Interior Designer, fairly long hours. In my spare time I love to read, walk, do yoga, meditation, sing, play keyboard, go to the beach or get out to any of the events that this lovely city has going! I pretty much have a go with the flow attitude about life. Happy to live anywhere from Mornington to Elwood and surrounding suburbs. :)
Hi! I recently moved to Melbourne and started my PhD. I try to maintain a normal work schedule during the week and I like to go out in the evenings and on the weekend. I'm looking for a clean and quiet place close to public transport with shops and restaurants in walking distance. I'm easy to get a long with and happy to meet new people.
I'm excited to be moving from regional NSW to Melbourne for pilot training at Moorabbin. I'm friendly, outgoing, organised, clean and tidy. I enjoy sport and a healthy active lifestyle. Ideally, a share house with females in the 18 to 30 age bracket within a 20min radius of Moorabbin would be great. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Friendly and upbeat person. Up for a chat and sometimes sharing a meal with housemates or likewise happy doing my own thing independently. When I'm not working I like to relax with Pilates, go see friends and family or catch a movie. Looking for a household that is reasonably quiet.
Hey guys, How's it going? I'm looking for a room to stay in Hampton for a couple months. I work as an Account Manager. I'm really easy-going, clean and tidy. I am currently doing part time work and looking for full time job in Actuarial or banking field. I have a vivid experience in sharing houses with both the genders in the past and have never missed or delayed a rent payment. I am flexible with the dates and prices if a good deal is up. Currently overseas, travelling, will return on 10th of Jan, so shooting an email or what's app suits me. I play footy twice a week and gym almost everyday. Highly compatible with fitness freaks and yoga instructors. Need not mention, easy going, respect privacy, blah blah.. Cheers
Hi there! My name is Grace and I am a 25 yr old full time working professional moving down from NSW to start a new job. I am very friendly, respectful, tidy and active. I will be working throughout the week and on some weekends so I am hoping to find a home which is kept neat and tidy and has a positive vibe. I enjoy sports, exercise, wine and being social but also like time to myself. I am not great at writing an intro so happy to elaborate more if you have any specific questions or when/if we meet :)
Hello good peeps, I am a laid back accounting/business management professional of 31years. I am local to the SE suburbs and am looking for somewhere to replace my previous awesome abode in Caulfield North. I work 9-5, like things relatively tidy and am happy to work into a whatever chores schedule is the go. Interests include economics/politics/business (boring eyy?) and also keeping fit, coffee, getting out for a few drinks on the we and a couple crappy TV shows. All up, I am looking for somewhere easy going and friendly where I can basically mostly do my thing but also have some social atmosphere at home. Cheers big ears
Hi there my name is Michelle Spies and I am looking for accommodation for 3 months. I will be working full time as a barista and will also be working as a personal trainer in my other spare time. I am a very neat and tidy person and i am easy to get along with :)
I'm a 39 year old guy. I spend most of my time working, keeping physically fit and volunteering. I enjoy movies, fine dining, standup comedy and challenges of sorts. I'm not a clean freak but am clean, tidy, have consideration for others, respect their privacy and space. Enjoy the occasional social interaction otherwise, equally enjoy my quiet times - especially after a long day's work.
We are both 27 years old, full time workers, easy going, down to earth. My girlfriend Sally works in a student exchange company, she is Aussie from Melbourne and I'm from Brazil currently working for a flooring company. Thanks, Charlles
I'm very clean, trustworthy and respectful. I'm an ex-corporate world worker now working on opening my own business, working part time in hospitality and studying nutrition (I have a Bachelors and Masters, this time doing a Diploma). I'm very health conscious, love nature and connecting with like minded individuals. I'm no longer a party animal, but enjoy the occasional red!

Hi A little about myself; I am a young 44yo, working, respectful of others and like to keep a clean house. I am friendly and quite social but am very aware of others, happy to chat and happy to leave you at your own will. I have been a house owner myself however have been renting the past 13yrs in Melbourne, I have an untarnished rental history and can get current and past rental references. I am currently renting by myself from the owner in Brunswick and paying $430pw. I have a 14yo daughter who stays with me every cple of months, she use to live with me but has moved away with her mum. When she is here, we are usually out and about and stay at a friends as they have a son whom my daughter is good friends with. The reason I'm moving... I'm starting a new business in Mulgrave and moving closer, either to Mulgrave or close suburbs by the bayside., beach life :) I am busy setting up my business so will either away working on that, in my room on my laptop also working on the business or driving Uber when I'm not working on the business. The business is in the fitness industry. Thank you for your time. Brad
I work full time and am studying part time. Melbourne always has so much on offer so I'll be out most weekends at a gig, gallery, park or market etc. You're welcome to join me! I'm a bit over the party share house days but I am friendly and will respect your space. My dog (small poodle) and cat are house trained and quiet. The dog will go where ever I go (even to work some days). Hope to meet someone to share a home and a few wines with. I work in mental health in Frankston and love the beach. Moving date is flexible.
I am 26 years old, originally from Adelaide, but I was living in Melbourne for several years, up until the start of 2016, at which point I spent 10 months travelling around South East Asia and India. I am currently back living in Adelaide, but moving to Melbourne once again, to commence professional, full-time work in my field of product design. I enjoy music; listening to it as well as playing a range of instruments (mostly guitar – but don’t worry, I am very considerate of noise levels in a share house!) and I regularly go out to see live bands. My other passion (and profession) is design and I often attend the many design/art related events, openings and exhibitions that Melbourne constantly has to offer. Other than that, I love all things food and coffee related and will usually jump at any chance to try out a new café or restaurant (or bar! although in that case, “food and coffee” will be substituted for “beer and/or wine”). I’m quite partial to getting out in that rare and elusive bit of Melbourne sun, for a walk or bike ride on the weekends and when I’m at home, I enjoy a good movie, documentary or Netflix/tv show binge. As a housemate, I am very easy to live with. I will be working full-time hours, so I will generally only be home in the evenings and weekends, I am neat and tidy, sociable but also considerate of other peoples’ space and belongings (you won’t even have to label your food in the fridge!), happy to do my bit when it comes to housekeeping and always pay rent and any bills on time. I have an extensive history of living in share houses, both in Adelaide and Melbourne and I can provide references from a previous private rental agency or past housemate/landlord if required. If you think I could be your future housemate, I would ideally be looking for a move-in date around the 25th of January (I begin work on the 30th January), although I can be flexible if it’s a matter of a few days either way. Unfortunately, as I am currently in Adelaide, it is unlikely that we will be able to meet in person before I get to Melbourne (and hopefully by then I have secured a place to live – fingers crossed!), however, I am more than happy to have a chat on the phone or even arrange a Skype call if you would like to talk in a somewhat face-to-face manner. Hit me up! Tom
Hi there, my name is Kat and I am a full-time student looking for a quiet and clean place to move it. Myself, between my 2 part-time jobs and uni I like to socialise and swim. Shoot me a message if you think we would make a good team.
