Hiiiii I'm Ashlee, I'm 23 I work full time and currently studying accounting part time. I go to the gym on regular basis, it's my stress relief. my boyfriend and I are currently doing long distance relationship, so he will be popping in now and then, but will always give you notice when he is coming up. I'm an extremely reliable and clean person. Hope to hear from you ☺️☺️
I'm a 25 year old female PhD student at the University of Queensland, where I also tutor par-time. I'd describe myself more of an introvert than a party person, but I love a good wine or a few drinks on a Sunday afternoon. I'm looking to preferably move into an existing sharehouse or otherwise start one with some awesome people. I generally go to UQ about 3-4 times a week and otherwise work at home with my dog. I have a gorgeous 2 year old west highland terrier called Louie! He is desexed, up to date on all vaccinations, etc. He is generally a pretty chill little dude to live with and likes to sleep and sunbake as he pleases. He is an indoor dog and has always had access to common areas (e.g. living room). He's a friendly little guy, so if you too have a dog I'm sure they'd be great friends, but it would be great for them to meet first.
I'm a 32 years old brazilian student looking for a single room around City, Kangaroo Point, Southbank or Spring Hill. I have been here for 9 months working part-time and studying. I'm into travel, meet new people and also have a couple of drinks on the weekends. I'm clean and organized and my looking for a nice place where I can make new friends =)
We are a British couple from Brighton just finished traveling Asia and now in Australia on working holiday visa. We both will be working in central Brisbane. We are easy going, clean, tidy, love to cook, eat and share a bottle of wine (or beer). Looking to share with similar people.
I am friendly, easy going, and enjoy being social. Whilst I don't mind the odd beverage after work, I am also happy to just sit and read or watch tv. My passions include, travelling, cooking and experiencing new things. I work in the travel industry on a rotating roster so may not always be around. I have lived in a share house before and understand the importance of personal space and cleanliness.
Hi there, potential roomie/friend! Are you going to move out on your own for the first time? Maybe you'll leave friends and family behind, to go study while also tring something totally different from what you are used to? If so: then we are in the same boat, and I would love to hear from you! I'm an ambitious young Norwegian who's going to take a Bachelor of Art (majoring in Peace and Conflict Studies) at UQ, starting in February 2018. I'm a little shy, and more off an introvert than an extrovert, but once you get to know me I think you'll discover that I have just the right amount of craziness in me. I think moving to Brisbane to study will be my greatest adventure yet, and if you want to be a part of it, and let me be a part of YOUR adventure, please contact me. It doesn't matter if it is to team up to start a new share house or just to get to know at least one person before you pack your bags and move to the other side of the Earth (heh, I'm definitely guilty of being a little bitt nervous about that part). Or maybe you even want to invite me to an existing share house. I'm open for everything, and really excited to hear from you! A few practical things if we are going to live together: I'm very open minded, I love cats (but don't have any pets my self), I don't handle smoke well (sometimes it makes it hard for me to breath) so I can't live with someone who smokes inside. And last, but not least, I'm very picky when it comes to food, but I'm sure that won't too much of a problem :-)
Hi my name is Emma, and i work and study full time. I am clean and tidy and am usually working or studying. I like to go to the beach so my days off are usually spend at the beach or sleeping.
My name's Sophie and I'm studying journalism at UQ while working part-time at the ABC in South Bank. I'm really friendly, super tidy, and would love to become friends with my housemates. I'm a huge fan of puppies (although sadly I don't have one in Brisbane), scary movies, and coffee. If you know of any great cafes around the area you're living, PLEASE share them with me so I can continue to eat smashed avo and never be able to afford a house deposit!!
I'm originally from Northern Ireland. I have came to australia looking for employment as a dental assistant. I have just recently started a job and would like to live near or in the city. When I'm not working I love long walks and exploring new places. I'm very neat and tidy I find cleaning very satisfying. I'm friendly and helpful. I also love to sunbath and relax by a pool/spa at the weekends or after work.
Hello mate, My name is Guilherme. I'm from São Paulo, Brazil and I intend to catch a plane to Brisbane on November 8th, for study purpose. I'm a very organized person, this is something that was taught by my parents since I was a litle boy, and it was improved when I went to the Brazilian Army. I'm also very friendly and don't have problem to live with other person (prefencialy not brazilians and not at the same bedroom, for privacy reasons). Well, Brisbane is beautifull by photos and videos and I intend to know every single thingh this city can provide me, but, my school is located at Adelaide street, near the Central Station, so if you have some bedroom near Spring Hill, West End or any other place that I could get by bike, it'll be great.
Natalie - I'm currently working in the Real Estate Industry from Monday to Friday. I like to come home after work to a relaxing and comfortable home. I'm an easy going person who is easy to get along with and I'm always up for a chat but like my own space too. On weekends I like to either go out for dinners at new places, go to the beach in Summer or just relax at home and watch Netflix with some friends. My partner T'Keyah and I are looking for our first place to live in together so this is an exciting time for us! T'Keyah - I'm currently work in the Tree Industry working weekdays starting early in the morning. I'm a chilled & outgoing person who's always up for a chat but also like my space. I like to keep myself busy either watching the footy with some mates, going out to the beach or you'll find me in the kitchen eating something.
I'm Ruby, I'm an artist who finished a degree in game design last year and am now working full time in retail. I have a 2 year old greyhound rescue named Travis who adores everyone and everything, and is the sweetest most quiet and clean boy in the world. We are inseparable! I am looking for somewhere close to public transport, ideally below $250 per week each. My perfect housemate is someone who is clean and quiet. I like to keep to myself and work 5 days a week, I'm very tidy and don't make a lot of mess or noise.
I am an economics student at the University of Queensland and looking for a few awesome people to live with. I am clean, flexible, independent, calm, laid-back and generally get along with almost anybody. I would put myself between being an introvert and an extrovert and typically if I am not in my room meeting my deadlines, then you will find me at different coffeeshops, at a hiking trail or possibly at the gym. :) Please do not hesitate to contact me if you are keen to meet up so we can get to know each other better :)
I am a 24 years old business informatics student and techno and house music producer & dj from Berlin, Germany. Having fun and following my passions is what I am about. I love music and I love to spend time with people and things which make me happy. I was born and raised in Berlin which I am very thankful for as it's a very diverse, creative, multifaceted and dynamic city. Still I love to explore new places and to travel the world. I am happy to have the opportunity to spend six months in Brisbane to do an internship there. In my free time I like to hang around with friends, do yoga, cook and just have fun. Please contact me if you think we might be a good team. ;)
Hello my Name is Charlotte. I would describe myself as a very cheerful, truthful, considerate, clean and nice female from Germany. I'm nineteen years old and since the 20th of septembre I am starting to live in Brisbane for about two months. In the next days I'm searching for a job in full- time. I would like to have a room for my own. My hobbies are cooking, traveling and reading.
Hi! I'm Dan, born and raised in Mexico, I've been in Australia for 8 years, I'm a social person who likes a bit of everything related with technology, science, sports and business. I have finished my degree but I'm currently doing online diploma studies and part time online business as a currencies and foreign exchange broker. For fun I love sports, movies, music, salsa dancing, and when it's possible a bit of travel. I'm also an easy-going, relaxed person who enjoys good meaningful intelectual conversations. I could write a book but I think that's ok for now. I'm looking for a decent, quiet non party central place to live. Thanks!!
Hello ! I'm from Switzerland and I'm 23 years old. I came in Australia to learn English and I will stay till december. I study in Browns school. I'm a funny girl who likes going to party and go shopping. I'm organized and like cleanliness.
Hey! My name's Mat, I'm 23, I'm technically a student but taking a semester off at the moment. In my spare time I'm an artist (painter/ceramicist) and radio DJ (not anywhere fancy, though). I'm into comic books and video games, super keen on Dungeons & Dragons but I'll do Scrabble too if there's drinks. I love cooking and I'm good at making excuses for not going to the gym. I'm mostly quiet but usually up for a chat if you are, and would love to live with people I can be friends with - I like having my own space, but hate when things are awkward. I'm pretty tidy (but not a clean freak), prefer to keep communal spaces neat, love being respectful of others, etc. As mentioned earlier I do a lot of cooking, I'm a vegetarian but I don't mind if you're not, I love the idea of getting the whole house together once or twice a week to have a chat over dinner or brunch or whatever. I'm not a party animal (defs not cool enough) but I'm down for the occasional low-key gathering. I don't smoke but I don't mind if you do. I'm pretty much down to live wherever as long as it's not more than an hour away from the city. We've gotta be close to public transport too, since I don't have a car. I'm kind of a night owl, but if you're not easily woken up by stuff like the kettle boiling for coffee, that shouldn't be a problem. Maybe you're awake late at night a lot too. Maybe we can avoid addressing our unhealthy sleep schedules together. Kinda important thing: I'm gay, so you've got to be LGBT friendly and not weird about it. Otherwise, I'm cool to live with pretty much whoever. Second important thing: I have pets! They are a green tree frog and a blue tongue lizard. They each have their own terrarium (think fish tank, but without the chance of accidentally getting heaps of water everywhere). The bluey is quiet. The frog is mostly quiet. Also, as an art student, a certain amount of laziness/social ineptitude is expected but I promise I'll keep the house tidy and always pay my bills on time. If you're still reading - thanks for reading! Hope to hear from you soon.
I m 29 old girl from Italy. My working Holiday Visa expires soon and I m leaving the Country on November 6th. At the moment I m looking a short term accommodation to stay till the date of my flight. During this short frame of time I m planning to find a job in hospitality and spend time with relatives and friend that I have in Brisbane.
I'm a responsible and clean type of person. I'm very easy to get along with and I'm sensitive to other people around me. I like to be the person people enjoy having around. My life is pretty simple. I work at Infinity Travel Group corporate office in South Bank full time, I like to ride my bike for exercise, I enjoy going to the gym, and I go out with my lady on dates. She will visit me but will NEVER spend the night. I do try to go out of my way to be respectful to others because I live by the golden rule of treating others the way I'd like to be treated. My schedule is pretty predictable. I'm out of the house early in the morning to workout at the gym at work, work all day, and either have dinner with my lady before calling it a night. On the weekends, I like to do my upkeep (laundry, errands, and relaxing).
Hello! I'm Erin. I'm here on a one year working visa from Canada. Non smoker. I'm super clean, I love animals though so if you have a dog I'm definitely going to walk it 😊 Looking for a furnished room to rent. I don't have a vehicle yet so I will need something near a bus or train route. Preferring someone with chill vibes. I'm quite easy to get along with. I do like to party but not at my own home usually so you can expect I will be out on weekends. I love electronic music but I'll listen to basically anything. I do a lot of hiking, fishing, swimming, yoga and want to get into surfing.
