I am a 33, female with 2 fairly chilled out cats. I work in community healthcare with non fixed rosters, sometimes random and also studying nursing full time at uni. (At the moment work is in Geelong mostly and uni is st Albans.) I am a fairly sociable person (My friends would say I'm larger than life TBH, its almost like my signature move) but do need to hibernate a little sometimes too. In my down time I might decide to sew a costume to wear out to geeky costumed themed events, try to crochet things, binge on netflix or play the odd video game. Most weekends I like to dance....either as a complete dork around the house or on the dance floor of a club. Sadly its mostly around the house in some trackie's or PJ's with uni in the mix I'm a big kid at heart and happily subscribe to the motto that the first 42 years of childhood is the hardest. (My once teenage housemate can tell you as far as 'dinosaurs' go, I'm pretty cool and will only do my natural little mumma trait thing every now and then. I have no children other than cats and can either lead you to a cheeky kebab at 4am or bed depending on your needs.) I do also have the ability to be a professional when I need to be, which is mostly when I'm working or on placements. All for food adventures and other outings (maybe not a hike, but I will cheer you on) I'm also all for the occasional tabletop game if that were an option. I am an outdoor smoker who will use an ashtray, (I get a bit miffed when other smokers don't use an ashtray or bin their butts.) I do drink occasionally too, but its usually not daily or sometimes even weekly/monthly. I can easily respect communal spaces by tidying up after myself and my cats, along with sharing general duties. Respect of private spaces of others is a big deal to me. (I would honestly have no issue calling someone else getting into your private space uninvited) Mentioned earlier the 2 cats: They are indoor/outdoor, desexed, domestic and mature aged, mother and son. They serve as my steady companion animals and serve each other as companions while I study and work. They are litter/garden trained and are usually pretty chilled. As for accommodation needs: I need an an unfurnished room that will fit a queen sized bed, a desk and a chest of drawers. (I do have a whole house worth of furniture though) I am flexible and open to sharing a flat/house with just one other person or with several others, I'm usually fairly adaptable, and am looking for something that will cover me for a fair few months.
Hey there I'm ash .. I've just moved to geelong after a long trip around Australia. Looking for a place to call home and meet some cool people. Currently working as an excavator operator, and work long hours and usually weekends, love to socialise with a brewski and hang out but also love to have my own space. I'm clean, quiet , respectful, and respect others space.
Part bartender part filmer (also part surfer, part climber - too many parts?). Working a 4-day work week mostly after hours and weekends so if your job happens to be 9-5 and you do prefer the house to yourself after work you won't see much of me :) Neat & Clean (testimonials from current housemates available), plenty of shared house experience. Always up for the usual household banter and overall a relatively social chick who's living a very independent life well travelled, filled with activities mostly spent outdoors (surfing, climbing, longboarding) or related to everything creative. Budget of 190/week includes all bills. Ideally the bedroom comes furnished, however I do chose moving in with the right people over moving in with the right furniture, so could be willing to buy a bed if you're cool :p
I’ve been living in Wagga for a few years (originally from Melbourne) and am moving to Geelong sometime in November (flexible) to start work at the beginning of December. I’ll be working in the agricultural industry so usually just Monday to Friday, but some weekends during harvest and sowing time. I’m a keen cyclist so I get up early most mornings to ride. I’m not a big partier or drinker but I love having social housemates who are up for a chat and maybe sharing some meals. I love animals (even though I don’t have any of my own) so would be happy to share with those who have pets.
Hey !!! I'm Maëva, an energic and funny french girl ahah I'm arrived in Melbourne 3 weeks ago and it's my first step for me in Australia. Like a lot of people here, I got a Working holiday visa so im here to enjoy australia max 1 year. Most of the time i like to have some drinks after work, it's for me a perfect way to relax myself ! Definitely in love for food , make me very interesting cause i can be a really good partner food to taste new things or try to cook something new! Hope you enjoyed this marvellous introduction ;)
Hey, I'm looking for a share situation with people who share a similar lifestyle. A share house of 3 is the ideal situation. I work full time in the centre of Geelong. I like to go out to the odd club night or to see bands and festivals or other local events, I also really like the beach, and hanging out in the great outdoors :) I'm at the gym a few days per week. I like to have a few drinks on the weekend at pubs or at home. I'm chilled out, I like to travel overseas and spend time in Melbourne. I lived in the UK for 8 years. I'm new to Geelong so I'm looking for a relatively social share situation, it would be cool to have dinner and drinks now and then etc....its no fun hiding in your bedroom, in my opinion! However, I'm a huge advocate of personal space and I really value my me time :)
Full time workers who have recently moved to Geelong and are looking for a relaxed household to live in. Enjoy cooking, reading and getting outdoors. Easy to get along with, neat and tidy. We enjoy socialising but can appreciate and respect privacy too.
Im Rachael, 26 and working full time in Geelong. I am originally from Melbourne's inner west and I'm looking to move closer to work. I like cooking, doing pilates and yoga, gardening/plants, love animals, listening to music and exploring new parts of our beautiful country on weekends (hiking, farmers markets, cafes etc). I'm vegetarian and also try and live as eco-friendly as possible! I have traveled a lot and have lived out of a backpack in hostels for over 9 months therefore I am clean, respectful and easy-going. I'm social and would love to get along with my housemates, but also ensure I have time to myself. Balance is key :) I would love to find like minded housemates and also a room that I can create my own little sanctuary. Reach out of if you think I'm a good match :)
Zolani I am a second year Nursing and Psych student. I see myself as a chilled individual who loves to interact with others I also know when to have fun and when not to. My weekly "fun" activities include church on Sunday, playing a LOT of fifa (king), socialising and hopefully joining a gym and getting big!! I am also a qualified PCA Anthony Is a first year International engineering student from Nigeria.
Hi! I’m 25 and work full time (most weeks I’ll do extra hours) in Armstrong Creek. I love to cook and keep active. My working week is pretty busy so I’m out of the house a lot. My weekends are my own. I’m very happy keeping to myself, but would love a housemate or two to do house dinners or outings with. I have a female cat, she’s a sweet heart and very well mannered, never had a problem in all of my previous share houses.
Im Shaun, 25 year old currently living in Belmont. Working part time and studying commerce at Deakin. From November ill be a full time worker in retail and part time uni student. If I'm not at work or studying, I usually fill my time in with gym, hiking, movies and spending time with friends.
Hi I'm Amelia, I'm a chilled out person, who loves to spend time quietly but also participate in group activities and have the occasional drink or two. I work as a pool lifeguard and swim teacher, volunteer as a surf lifesaver at 13th Beach/Barwon Heads and row surfboats. I am quite laid back and can fit in in a quiet or loud household as I love to have a quiet night in but also a louder night with mates on occasion. I'm neat and tidy up after myself, and also love to cook.
I’m a bubbly 21 year old who is currently working full time as a residential support worker for men with disabilities! I am hoping to start studying next year to hopefully become a mental health nurse. I’m clean quiet and respectful but am always up for a drink or two at the end of a long day!
