Easy going, clean and tidy, can cook, liberal, mature and experienced, self contained working in secure profession. I am looking for an inner city pad for Mon-Thurs only. Ideally team up with someone looking for some supplementary income without having to deal with a permanent boarder- I escape to family Home down on the Mornington Peninsula for extended weekends every week so wouldn’t be around too much 😊
Heya! I'm a 22 year old Swedish guy. I've been in Australia since mid October and I'm here on a working holiday visa. At the moment I have money saved and don't need to work, but I will look for jobs once I get settled in Melbourne. I am a calm and peaceful person. I tend to not take up a lot of space and make too much noise. I'm comfortable with groups of people aswell as going solo. I'm very clean and organised and I like to keep things tidy. I'm an active person, I play ultimate frisbee with a local Melbourne team and I work out a couple times a week. I also enjoy chill evenings at home aswell as nights out in the city. I eat and drink like a horse. My main hobbies and interests are sports, movies, video games, history, design and (obviously) travelling! :)
We are 2 french brothers, Nicolas is 25 yo chef, and Pierre is a 22yo barber. We both are really smiling, friendly and easy going. We spend our days off cooking (Nico made the best crêpes ever! Yammi :) ) or chilling out. We do a lot of outside activities, like fishing, walking, or snorkeling. We are in Melbourne for the next 6 weeks, (we booked a flight the 24th of january), so if you are looking for some funny french guys, we are here!!
Hey, my name's Oliver, I'm a 28yo, gay male who currently lives in Southbank. I live a bit of a busy lifestyle with work. I work two jobs, one is a full time office Mon-Fri job based in Collingwood and the second a casual hospitality job that I work a couple of nights a week for a bit of extra pocket money. When I'm not working I'm usually either out with friends, or chilling at home binge watching some TV show. I do own a 4 year old, female, British Short Hair, indoor cat named Harlow. As long as I feed her then she's an easy one to look after. She will just do her own thing and basically nap all day. So if the place is off the ground I would prefer a balcony that is not easy for her to jump off. She loves being outside on the balcony so it's not a deal breaker if there is one. ** My Insta should be linked to my profile if you wanna see more photos ** I do own some furniture also, I have all your basic stuff plates, cutlery, mugs, pots, utensils etc and on top of that I have a huge couch that could fit 4-5. Also have a TV + unit, I do have unlimited WiFi under my name if it's needed but can always cancel that. Then I've got all my own bedroom gear. I would prefer a place with BIR, A/C (I don't use it a lot but when needed) and a dishwasher.
Urgently seeking a room preferably in the city or surrounds. I’m a very tidy housemate and enjoy being around new people! I'm very easy to live with and respect other housemates privacy. Currently working part time and I'm currently studying full time. :)
Dancer / singer / Actor. Just graduated from the Western Australians Academy of Performing Arts. Am a fun and energetic housemate that also loves his own time. And yes to answer your question, I do sing in the shower. But know when to stop :P I also love to excerscise so a gym buddy would be ideal. Also a tea addict, so I’ve got all the tea you could need. 🙂
Hello! I'm 17 but please don't let my age intimidate you - I am a mature, responsible student who is itching to find a place to stay during university. I am a reliable tenant who has been raised to respect my environment and those around me. I am looking for a kind, respectful housemate who I can bond with; and I can assure you that I will always endeavour to help around the place as much as possible. I will be attending RMIT next year (moving from Rosebud), I love watching TV and some occasional gaming, and I am a friendly, social person who can easily adapt to any environment. Please feel free to message me if you are interested in further arrangements and thank you so much for your time :)
I am an all round nerd, basically. Professionally I have a Masters of Engineering (will be working at Telstra next year - if you've had a terrible experience with them I am so sorry, please don't hold it against me) so if you have technical issues I will be able to help! (lol jks my degree is from Melbourne Uni so it and my help are almost purely theoretical. But I will do my best). Personally I am pretty easy going, am Australian but have lived in the Netherlands, Oman, Scotland, France and Sweden, like music, travel, vegetarian food (I don't care what you eat, though. I mean if it's really weird I might judge, but I promise I'll do it silently), podcasts, trying to keep up my French, kickboxing and entertain myself by following the trainwreck that is American politics right now. I've previously house-shared with one other person and 9 other people before so have a decent range of experience, am now looking for either a room in a household where vacuuming happens at least sometimes and people clean their dishes before leaving the kitchen, or to team up with someone and rent a place nearish the CBD.
Hi! We are a young couple from Norway studying design at RMIT. Currently we are looking for a place to stay for the next six months. We are respectful, very tidy and easy going. Being students we keep regular hours, but sometimes have longer days during busier periods. In our free time we love to cook at home and watch movies. We also enjoy traveling, music and occasionally a few drinks on the weekends. Our perfect flatmate(s) would be tidy, respectful and up for a chat and maybe dinner sometimes! We enjoy meeting new people, but also respect peoples private time. Cheers, Ingrid and Herman
I will be working at Bupa insurance from the 15th of February, so looking to relocated between then & the 4th of February (when I start paying rent can be negotiable) when my contract with Monash Health finishes. I probably won't be around too much as when I'm not at work I'll be going to kendo (sport) training. I have exams in April, so prior to that I'll likely be studying a fair bit. Looking for private unfurnished room. No pets. Don't mind what gender sharing with.
Hello! I'm Kirie. I'm a Mathematics student currently pursuing my Degree at Monash Uni. I'm not particularly hard to get along with or noisy so you won't have to worry about me being a bother. My hobbies are playing video games and board games so I don't usually go out much but I would still love to hang out and grab drinks if you want! I'm currently considering getting a pet, so that's still within discussion depending on if you/potential flatmates are comfortable with that.
Hi there! I'm Sami, 24 and looking to sublet north/west of the Melbourne CBD with some happy-chill-housemates. I'm currently living in Kensington and the landlord wants to move in so finishing up there on 7th Jan. I'm going overseas in April 2018 so for the next three months I am looking to rent a furnished room until end of March/early April 2018 without signing onto a lease. I work full time in tourism, and by night I love to chill out with some good food and great company. Love my down time and I'm work-focused, but I'm more than happy to live with people who are studying and what not. I like a bit of a cook up and a cocktail, and I'm pretty low maintenance - just as happy watching Netflix in my room as I am hanging in the lounge with some lovely people. My only must have is somewhere to park my car and other then that I'm really just looking to meet some friendly people who fancy the odd chat and some socialising. That's me in a nutshell, send me a message if I sound like your person!
My Names Kate and I'm heading back Home to Melbourne (be in Melb 23rd Dec) after living near the NSW/QLD border for 3+years I'm looking for a private room preferably with its own bathroom. I need a place that is couple friendly as my partner (who will be finishing off our own home in NSW) will be visiting and moving down eventually. I will be bringing with me my 4 amazing budgies ( no housemates that are scared of birds) happy to keep these guys in my room, but room will need to be a bit big enough. I work in the community services industry so hours can be all over the place, I have already secured employment, there I will need to be living with people who are respectful of their housemates space, but I'm always keen to a drink and a laugh when I'm not working crazy crazy hours. I'm not to fussed at location, either inner city or south eastern suburbs, however I will need a car space, as I need my car for work. If Teaming up I can bring all the furniture needed.

Start from 01/02/2018 prefer a private room and roommates from different countries. I’ll study in UNIMEL for master degree for two years. I'm finding a clean and tidy place which is close to the uni. I’m from China but I prefer to live with people from different countries. About myself, ordinary and a little bit boring person. Spending the most of spare time thinking about useless questions, staying alone, watching movies or reading books (topics relevant to politics, economics or psychology), but also interested in live music and sports. I'm not a totally sociable person but if you need someone to hang out for drinking, watching films or tennis games, I'd like to join. Please be free to message.
I'm a female Asian will be studying in Melbourne in February in the city. Actually coming with my friend but she was forced to stay with her cousins whose also a student, but if their family doesn't visit her, I'll join her IDEALLY: you might be able to rent a nice 2 bedroom, but I have a budget limit.. would you be interested to rent an apartment together but I'll be topping up abit only when I stay with you? I know it sounds ridiculous but let me know what you think, or if it's not that expensive, I can share the apartment with you 😀 More like you can do an airbnb type of service when I'm not staying there
Hi! I'm Ariana, 19, Peruvian/Japanese and currently looking for a place to live for next year while I'm in my second year studying Science at Melbourne Uni. I am super easy-going, honest, reliable, open-minded and very respectful of others boundaries and personal space and am looking for a friendly homey sharehouse to live in. I'm vegan, LGBTIQA+ friendly (ofcourse) and I enjoy going to art galleries, gigs, markets, bars, clubs, and watching movies and playing videogames by myself or with others. Some qualities I think would make me a pretty good housemate <3 • I’m always willing to clean the dishes and the house. • I cook some pretty damn good vegan nachos and banana cinnamon pancakes. Also, I love to cook for people. • I am very environmentally conscious, so my water and electricity usage are sure to be low • I have an extensive collection of tea and coffee, that of course everyone can use no charge. I have way too much tea for one person… please help out a gal • I will always make sure the house is smelling good with my essential oils and candles • Will always share my lush facemasks Hope to hear from you :) ~Ariana
