I am a full time student at Flinders University and a hospitality worker. I have a well behaved cat who has moved numerous times with me and we are looking for a long term place. I love cooking at home (am a bit of a feeder) and a glass of wine and enjoy a social household as much as a Netflix binge. I am a bike riding, beer drinking, gig loving, easy going Radelaidian and am keen to meet new people!
We're a couple from Sydney moving to Adelaide for 4-6 months. Annette has a communications degree & MBA. Michael is a mechatronics engineer. We work together on a tech hardware startup called Tekuma out of the ICC at UniSA so we'd like to live within an easy commute to that north-west side of the CBD. In our spare time, I like to train in taekwondo and Michael does fencing. We like pets but don't have any, we're also non-smokers. We're pretty devoted to our startup so work a lot but are keen to learn work-life balance in Adelaide. Flexible with the move-in date as we are currently in Adelaide staying with friends, not sure where we'll be over xmas/nye as yet.
I've moved back to Australia after two and a half years away, and Astrid is here on the WH visa. We've just got back from Edinburgh where we lived and worked in a hostel, and have both lived in sharehouses before that so we're used to respecting others' space and making sure rent/bills are paid on time, and all the other little things that come with living with other people. We're both still sorting work out at the moment and are likely to go into hospitality work, but we do have enough saved up for rent, bills and all that biz for now. Currently looking for short-ish term as we may be moving mid-year to the east coast.
My name is Eduardo, I'm going with my mother and my girlfriend to study in Adelaide. We would love to get a room to stay while we get a house or apartment to rent. but at the beginning we would like to stay in a shared house in order to have contact with other people. I am going to do a master's degree, my mother and my girlfriend will do an English course.
Hi guys, i'm Marlee. I'll be looking to move to Adelaide in the next couple of months to go to University (UniSA If all goes to plan). I'm a very laid back, kind, bubbly person and enjoy live music, live sport (my absolute number one favourite), going on adventures and good food and coffee. I love watching sport, in particular, softball, baseball, football (Aussie Rules.... but could get into Soccer) and cricket. So if anyone is also a sport fan, I would be more then happy to have them tag along to games and events with me! I'm not looking to house with people that are interested in party drugs, i enjoy a couple of drinks on the weekend or after work with dinner, but I'll usually be the "sober sally"... but that's not to say that I can't have a good time when I DO have a few extra more then a couple... (you’ll know what I’m talking about when you see drunk Marls... but I’m a fun drunk!) I am a tidy person, I clean up after myself, so I am looking for someone/people that are also tidy, nothing frustrates me more then having to clean up after other people. I’m a hard worker and love to do little projects, I can be pretty handy when it comes to building things... especially flat packs, believe it or not!
I'm a 28y social worker looking for a place to share with other young workers/students, ideally somewhere close to the Adelaide CBD as well as Netley. I don't smoke and I don't have any pets. I love cooking, reading and going for walks. I'm a very tidy person and I can't wait to move to Adelaide to go back to my passion for dancing!
Two Irish friends that have moved to Australia recently and are in full time long term employment working 5/6 days a week in construction. We've known each other for years are both easy going, clean and respectful. Currently staying in a hostel but since we've started working it isn't ideal and would love our own/shared place to call home whilst we are in Adelaide. Looking for a place outside the CBD but with easy access to the city via bus/bike/car or walking distance would be great but not necessary. As we are new to the area I've just listed the locations near my workplace but we would be open to living elsewhere also.
Moving to Adelaide for work from Queensland to work for the Masters UniGames event on in October in the city. Easy going, enjoy sport and a couple of drinks on a weekend. Looking for a room in a share house mainly.
Hi! I'm a final year Irish student studying nutrition and dietetics. My friend and I are coming to Adelaide for 4 months to do our final year research project at UniSA. I'm a great person to share a place with- clean and tidy, very easy-going and social . Always up for a few drinks but not here just to party. Interested in doing lots of weekend adventures around the area. Love the beach and interested in sports, especially tennis!
Hey, I am a student at UniSA, studying Masters in Data science. I am quite and tidy person. Although I always enjoy a friendly conversation. I like reading, outdoors, and photography. I am looking for a room for about 4/6 weeks. I might extend my stay if I like the company and don't need of finding my own place.
I work full time in the city and when I'm not at work I like to go to the gym, go hiking, catch up with friends or just chill and binge Netflix. I like my own space but am always up for a good chat. I'm very adventurous and love hiking, rock climbing, bike riding and especially travel.
Hi there! I'm Marjolein, and I'm a 21 year old student from the Netherlands. For my bachelor of biomedical sciences, I will be doing an internship in Adelaide from February until December, and after that I will be traveling through Australia and New Zealand before I go back to the Netherlands. A little bit about me: I'm a biomedical student in Leiden (students city in the Netherlands), where I have been living with flatmates for more than three years now. In February I will be moving to Adelaide, and I would like to live with flatmates as well because I enjoy living together, being able to eat together and do fun things together. What I do for fun here in the Netherlands is sailing, and I also joined the sailing club here in Leiden. Besides sailing I'd love to do drinks or dinners with friends, doing sports, but also do some netflixing every now and then. In Adelaide I think I want to try surfing, or maybe do some other sports. If you have any questions, please contact me!
I am a fun and kind young professional working in health research. I am very organised and like to keep tidy. I love spending time outdoors and being active. I will help in household chores and love to cook! I will be a friendly but respectful housemate. Would like a pet-free house due to allergies. Looking to move in mid-January.
Hi everyone! I’m Anthony and I’m a high school teacher! I spent 2017 and the start of 2018 teaching and traveling abroad. I just got back to Adelaide a few months ago and I’m keen to find something in the new year for around 6 months. My long term plan is to go and teach overseas again halfway through next year. I’m easy going, open minded, social, clean, idependant and love to cook. I get along with most people but do enjoy my own down time now and then. In my spare time I like to keep fit, socialise with mates and try new things! Feel free to shoot me any questions you may have :)
My name is Akshay and I am a Mechanical Engineer working in the mining sector. I am a very clean and tidy person who loves to exercise and stay very active throughout the week. I am an early to bed early to rise type of person. I am looking for a place which is preferably close to or around the CBD.
I'm a chef who loves to cook and entertain people. I'd love to share a house with a friendly bunch. My ideal share-house would have housemates from different walks of life, bringing different experiences and stories to the table. I have been living in share houses for a few years and know to respect others space. Having said that, I do love to hangout with the housemates and share a meal or a few drinks every now and then. I'm a bit of a neat freak and slightly OCD, which as I've learned is a good thing when living in a shared space. I like having things neat and tidy and in their places. Hit me up if you think I'll be a good fit to your house. :)
Hi, I'm Alaa (Alex). a friendly, outgoing, open minded guy. I'm tidy, VERY clean, and quiet. I respect other peoples privacy as I hope they respect mine. I believe friendship and good relationships between residents of the same unite is a must!.
HEY! I'm a social bumblebee who likes cooking, hiking, beach going, adventures, bike riding, reading and the occasional spot of netflix. Looking for a decent kitchen so i can hold lavish dinner parties at which we chat about the astronomical price of brunch at urban cafes and quote rick and morty until our tongues fall off. I like to think I'm a young Nigella Lawson without the cocaine. - Work: bartender - Clean and tidy - Doesn't smoke but okay if others do - Learning to sew and an unquestionable dork at times - Comes with some sweet plants - Will show you pictures of her dogs (they don't live with me :( ) - Spotify fiend Looking for some friendly faces who share some of the same interests.
Hello, my name is Maddy and I'm 16 years old and I'm looking to move out of home again. I have been in shared accommodation before for about 2 years and all went well until I got sick and had to move back in with my parents. I study with a school program fulltime and I am currently seeking employment. I get benefits each fortnight which allow me to pay rent+bills. I am very reliable, honest, and on time with my payments. Please don't let my age make you reconsider your decision! Feel free to message me for any questions and I would love to become a part of your household! :) Thankyou.
Current full-time university student, working part time in the city. I am pretty laid back and enjoy relaxing at home or going out for good food. I am studying a Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics and will graduate mid year 2022. So I would prefer to have a long term lease where i can finish my studies and decide where to go and what to do from there. I have lived away from home for about 8 months, on my own, before i started my studies, that said this is my first time that i will be sharing accommodation with anyone outside family. I work in hospitality, at a 5 star hotel, mostly in the evenings on the weekend, home by latest 00:00. I do get the occasional week where I'll be on mornings where I'll be up early, about 05:30ish but i am very considerate of this an can try my best to be a ninja when I leave or arrive home. I've always been a very tidy person and grew up in a household were you earn your keep by contributing to house work, so I am no stranger to chores in and around the house. Prefer organisation to chaos, so I am more than happy to work to any cooking and/or cleaning roster/schedule. I personally don't have any pets, but i have grown up with a family dog and fish tank, that said I do love both dogs and cats, and am more than happy to live with any sort of pets and help look after them. I have my own car and thoroughly maintain it, so either parking on the property or off street parking would be greatly advantageous and preferred. I have traveled/immigrated a bit through my teens, thanks to my fathers career, and am no stranger to meeting new people. I was born in South Africa, lived in New Zealand and finally settled here in Australia with my mother and brother. I speak fluent English, although i still do have a slight South African accent remaining, but that shouldn't hinder communication in anyway. I usually get along very well with everyone i meet and am quite friendly and polite, in general I am a quiet person and highly respect and appreciate my own as well as others privacy and space. However, i am more than happy to sit around a dinner table or lounge room engaging in good conversation, watching TV or eating food. I spend most of my time studying, playing video games, watching Netflix or Youtube and working out at a gym or playing sport when in season. Not sure what else i can say about myself besides that i look forward to meeting and getting to know my new house mates and hopefully lifetime friends :)
Hi, I'm Luke - an engineer that works on a 7/7 roster, so I'm in Adelaide for 7 days with a heap of free time then I'm away for 7 days working. While I'm a 26yo engineer, I don't act my age or live up to my job title. Also new to Adelaide and loving it! Don't know anything about AFL though, sorry.. I'm often seen eating in Chinatown, hitting the gym at odd hours and occasionally heading out to a rave. Open to long term or short term rental.
I'm studying computer science in 2019 in Adelaide. I'm trained as a barista and with various other hospitality work, though I will need to find a new job for the move. I'm relatively introverted but if I get going on a topic I enjoy, I could talk for hours! I built a PC earlier this year (would highly recommend, way easier than it seems) which I like to use for gaming and movies, among other things. I'm from western Victoria, near the Grampians, and went to school in Ballarat. I'm also bi, it's a new thing for me and I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. I'm nervous but excited about what the new year and the big city will bring!
My name is Tyler, I have been living in share houses since I was 16, I receive a Centrelink payment weekly and also work. I am going to be studying a foundation course next year and also working in the city. I am ideally looking for a 1 bedroom flat, studio or otherwise, flexible. I am single, non smoker, clean and very friendly.
Currently working 30+ hours a week in the city. I am a quiet and clean person but won't turn down a beer after a long day. Easy to get along with, anything else you want to ask me just message me :)
Hey :) Sooo a bit about me - I'm easy going, enjoy yoga, music (especially the old school kind) and a cheeky drink at the pub. I work as an interior designer and have recently moved back from living in London. Looking to move in to a place that I can call home with some like minded people who enjoy a bit of banter and a laugh!
Hey I'm Tom. I'm 24 and I work full time for the Department for Education. I'm extremely clean and tidy, health conscious and a bit of a fitness fanatic. Most my days are spend traveling around the Northern Suburbs or in gyms so you really wouldn't see too much of me as your housemate but I'll be around on weekend.
Working full time and looking for a room to rent for myself and my cat Ralph. Easy going, friendly, reliable and clean. I enjoy quiet time when at home but also don’t mind nice conversation over a coffee or a wine(s) :)
Hey... Me and my other friends are looking for a house preferably with 3-4 bedrooms in the areas which are closer to the uoa as we all are students at the university of Adelaide. We are 3-4 people so we looking for an entire property or sharedroom with the reasonable rent. We will be moving around 14-15 february. Thanks !!!
I work 9 to 5 in marketing. In my spare time I love catching up with friends, binge-watching shows on Netflix, Friday wines / platters, the beach and going for walks. I consider myself quite laid back (but clean and organised!). I like my own space, but also enjoy living in a fun and social house. I'm originally from the country, and have lived in share houses for over 7 years since coming to Adelaide. I have a beautiful Greyhound, Jazz! She is the biggest couch potato, but a real cutie. I take her for a half-hour walk every day, and she pretty much sleeps the rest of the time (apart from doing some zoomies when I get home).
Hi! I'm a 19 year old girl from Norway moving to Adelaide to study at the University of Adelaide. I lived in Adelaide during my exchange two years ago, so I'm well used to the city. I'm an easygoing girl who's always looking to learn something new, meet new people and make great memories. I love going to gigs and hanging out with my friends, but am also a huge fan of quiet nights in watching netflix or listening to music. I play flute and guitar, so any future roommate should be comfortable with some repetitive rehearsing every now and then. Other than that I am pretty okay to live with, I know how to keep to myself and try to keep a clean and organised space. I am looking for someone who I can potentially become friends with, that I can talk to when I feel like it and whom I can have dinner with and watch movies with. But I have no problem keeping to myself if you'd prefer that.
Hey, I’m Kurt! I’m an easy going 23 year old guy currently studying to become a youth worker and working casually in retail. I’m currently looking for a room somewhere in the Adelaide Metropolitan area to rent. I have lived out of home since I was 19 so I am highly independent which means I’m happy to cook, clean and help out with any others house hold chores. I have a trade background in roofing - so pretty handy with a screwdriver if anything ever needs to be fixed! My days consist mainly of studying and working but don’t mind the odd drink. I like getting out of the house a so much as possible but also enjoy my down time! More then happy to have yarn lol or a beverage with anyone but also understand the boundaries of shared living and personal space. Hit me up if you have a living arrangement that would suit!
I currently work full time as a retail manager in the city and am looking to move closer for work. I’m an extremely easygoing, clean, independent, sociable person. I attend the gym quit regularly and like to see my friends and socialise with my time off. I’m adaptable to all types of people and also love my quiet time to myself. Love to have a laugh. Please feel free to contact me for further information :)
