Hi future roommate person/s! How weird is it to write about yourself? I'm a 25 year-old male slave working and studying full-time. I’ve just moved up from Melbourne to Sydney to study at USYD. With whatever time I have spare I love to chill with video games, watching anime and having the odd Mario Kart competition to assert my dominance (Fkn shotgun Peach bruh). I also part take in the masochistic activity of learning Japanese 😭. I'm a bit of a dork, love to make people laugh and find the humour in almost anything. The more dark and sarcastic your humour, the more we'll get along swimmingly. I’m pretty flexible with locations, so open to anywhere in the city (though, I’m not keen on moving to Penrith).
Hi I am a looking for a private room in a flatshare environment. Mid 40's working Professional, mature and have respect for home. Easy going and friendly, looking to share with similar housemates. I enjoy most ball sports, Soccer, AFL, League, watching not playing these days, lol. Too many footy war - injuries. I am a contract Project Manager that is currently working in the CBD for a large corporate client and looking for a place within a 5km radius of the CBD so that I don't have to commute to far or too long. I am typically out of the house around 7:30am and return around 6:30- 7pm most weeknights. Weekends, I am pretty much away every weekend up the coast in QLD, sun and surf. I am from QLD and travel regularly most weekends up and down the coast Fly-in, Fly-out, typically fly-out on a Friday night and fly-in back either Sunday night or Monday morning, depending on work schedule. I'm pretty quiet, very easy to get along with and don't mind a social chat after work. I can cook, have been doing it for years actually, and keep my place and surrounds clean. Don't mind going out for dinner or getting some takeaway, with a glass of wine and good banter about nothing in particular, good social chat after work. I am currently sharing a house in the south western suburbs and want to move closer to the CBD to reduce my commute time. I will require some form of parking, either off street or on street (not metered). Ideally off street if possible. I am looking for a private room, ideally with a Queen or Double bed, in the following areas which include: Inner Sydney areas : Balmain, Rozelle, Lilyfield, Annandale, Petersham, Stanmore, Newtown, Glebe, Ultimo, Pyrmont, Surry Hills. Easy walking distance to CBD or short trip on public transport. North Sydney areas: Milsons Point, North Sydney, Kirribilli, Cremorne, Crows Nest, St Leonards, Cammeray, Wollstonecraft and Mosman as a my preferred locations. I don't have any furniture, so I prefer a furnished place to share. Just me, my clothes, a couple of bags, my car and my charming humour, lol. Happy to chat and share a wine after work. Drop me a line if you have a room for a fair price. I do have a budget which I am trying to stick to. Talk soon. Regards Eddie
Looking to live with a positive and friendly person who I can share a meal or glass of wine with on the odd occasion, but who can also respect giving some space. I like to keep things clean, neat and tidy. I'm currently working full time as a workplace relations advisor and studying law part time, so I'm usually busy balancing the two. On weekends I like doing something active and being outdoors (mostly the beach!) or I'll be out catching up with friends and family. I also like quiet weekends too to recharge. Any questions, please don't hesitate ask!
Clean, quiet and respectful. Work a lot so will rarely be seen week days, on weekends I'll always be keen for a chat and a wine. Pretty handy in the kitchen, will be a favourite during communial dinners.
Full-time JD Law student at Sydney Law, from California (I'm a dual citizen US/AU). I’m beginning my second year and I am looking for a new home! Last year I lived with an amazing couple, but now they are welcoming their new baby into the world. What you need to know: I study...a lot so on most occasions when I’m home I’ll be studying in my room with the door open as I enjoy company while I do this. No need to worry about noise, I work my studying around who I live with not vise versa and I also treat my studying like a job and try to get a lot of it done at the library. I also have a part-time job at a law firm in the city. I would enjoy a glass of wine here or there but these days I cant spare any brain cells hahaha (#lawschoolLife), I run almost everyday (I was never good at any other sport haha), I never leave my dirty dishes in the sink, I enjoy helping keep our home tidy, I’m a good listener, I don’t have time to party, dogs are my people.
Hi everyone! We are a spanish couple looking for a room! We are working full time, we are tidy, easygoing, with positive vibes and we like keeping everything clean. We love coooking at home, watching series and doing some outdoor sport. We would love to find a relaxed home to rest in our free-time with easygoing housemate(s). We hope to hear from you very soon!! Cheers.
I´m actually occupied in Project management, more specific IT management and business consulting. To escape the office life, I came here for entirely new experiences. I succeed my A-Levels last year in Germany and plan to stay here for a couple of months and travel further through southeast Asia. I have lots of weird, funny, lucky, extreme and calming stories from life in Germany and travelling on my mind. I love to cook and enjoy, depending on the mood, wine and/or beer with long conversations. Sports minimum 4 times a week and party as often as possible. Cleaning the accommodation is a must routine for me!
While being Mature, Responsible, Considerate of other people’s space, I am an easy going fun person who likes to keep active & enjoys a drink or 3 in or out and over a meal or a BBQ. I am not looking for a wild party house or for flat mates that take the party home. I am looking to share with Singles only i.e. Apartments can be small so I am not interested in sharing with couples.
Im a full time hospo veteran, I make coffee, cocktails, dark jokes and healthy doses of sarcasm for a living. As a house mate you can be sure that I'll never shy away for cheery banter or deep stories about band camp, i love to talk and can talk shit for days, I'm very vocal, but i also know how to be cool and keep temperamental and trust me I'll know when you need your "you time" . I can act like a full grown adult as anyone should, I'm educated, well spoken, i can cook, i can clean, and generally a pleasant human to be around, I'm always never in a dull mood and always willing to lend a hand or ear. If you're looking for a straight to the point easy going no-bullshit hyper dramatic in all the right places kinda guy then I am your man. I bring with me glorious booze upon success and a cactus, I've called it snuggles. 🌵 *update* if you giggled at this bio you might as well hit me up and feel free to buzz me. I've currently put my bartending on hold due to this house hunting business and keen to hear from all you beautiful people. have a nice day 😎
Hey there, my name's Ben and I want to tell you a little about myself, mid-20s guy currently working full time; I like to spend my spare time during the week training, watching a movie or even having a cheeky drink, I like to keep it low key and save my fun mostly for the weekend. I consider myself pretty clean, sociable, relaxed and easy to get along with but definitely respect peoples privacy. Looking for somewhere that is relaxed, clean and a place I can call home within walking distance of a train or bus. Cheers
I'm busy with the work , i like to go out , camping , exhibition, good food and good wine. Like to cook ! I would like to live with clean , funny flatmates
Hi guys :) We are easy going, clean couple from Poland. We are working full time so most of the day we are outside the house. When we have a free time we like to spend it at the gym, beach or just lie on the couch and watch some good movies or tv series. We like cooking with a glass of wine (or two :). We are searching the room for longer (few months up to 1 year) with wardrobe and double bed, good wifi not far away from a train station or bus to city :P We are searching the nice place with easy going flatmates. Preferred couples :) our budget is 370$ + - per week - bills included. Cheers Paul & Lena
Hi all! I’m Asty, 32 year old, have lived in Canberra and then Sydney close to 5 years now. I’m from Indonesia, where I was a doctor. Now I’m doing my last year of PhD on anthropology and global health, and I have a steady stream of income from my scholarship, whilst also am in the process of finding another paid work on the side. I love sharehouse living (I’m born for communal living), and have mostly ended up befriending my housemates - now most of them are my peeps in life. A housemate once described me as “a circle, definitely not a square”. He said it with an honest smile, so I took that as a compliment and thanked him. I’m interested in permaculture, though I have only managed the space and time to nurture one young chilly plant (which I’m happy to report is doing well). I enjoy singing and playing the uke, but worry not, so far my music time at home is confined to the shower - that can change depending on housemates’ preference on house jamming. I love love Hamilton (the musical), and Flight of the Conchords. I live by the wise words of Liz Lemon. I have a terrible case of tsundoku - look it up on google 😅 My boyfriend lives in Canberra, and we’re doing medium-distance relationship to the best of our ability. My little red car is useful for those trips, and also for house grocery shopping... My current sharehouse (Alexandria but near Erskineville) is very great, but we figure rearrangement needs to be talked about prior to our lease’s end in May. While some of us would continue with the lease, sadly I cannot join the next lease because I have to leave Sydney in late July/early August. Which is also something I’d like to come clear with you- that’s the longest I can promise for length of stay. The best time for me to move would be 3-4 weeks after a new sharehouse said yes to having me on board - I’m bound to fulfill my duty to the sharehouse I’m leaving behind. Would be open to negotiate, though. Would love to hear from you and meet up in person 😄 Cheers, Asty
Hello my future landlord/ flatmate, how’s going? My name is Nicole. I am from Taiwan, working but also study at the same time. A bit short intro of myself. I'm really responsible, don't party (even If I party, I go out, Dont like house parties that much) I enjoy my privacy, mostly time I’m quiet that you won't even know that what I'm doing or if I'm home. I do some easy dishes but the fact is I'm lazy so I don't really cook. If you're looking for some quiet and clean girl like OCD that type of clean, I guess that's me 😂 I prefer stay long as I dislike moving, I also get alone with clean and mature people most. Pls let me know if you’re looking for the same type of house mate;) I’ll be looking forward to hear from you. Nicole
Hi there ! My name is Lucas Rodrigues and I recently moved to Sydney to study a bachelor of Psychology at Macquarie University. I'm sociable and always up for a drink and a chat but I'm not really into partying so I'm looking for a place where I can come home and relax! I like to exercise, meditate and enjoy outdoor activities but not as much as I enjoy binge watching my favourite series on netflix! I'm respectful, trustworthy and honestly I'm tired of moving houses so I'd love to find a place to live long term that I can call home. If you have any questions just text me :)
Full time marketing professional working with a B2B company in Macquarie park. Moved to Sydney ten months back and happy to call it home now. Work from Mon-Fri, 9-5 pm. Try to hit gym everyday after work. Easy going, tidy, not a great cook but prefer home cooked food. Prefer to have an active lifestyle, busy weekends and meeting like minded people. Looking for a comfortable and clean accommodation (separate bathroom preferred). Happy to look for a new apartment and share.
I am looking for a furnished room not far from City. I am an accountant, working all day and study CPA in the evening so I prefer to stay in a place that is quiet at the evening and at night. I use my room mostly for studying and sleeping and meet with my friends or do other activities outside my home but I am very happy to meet with new people and have new friends. I don't have any furniture so I am looking for a furnished room . I need an air-condition. In my free time I like hiking.
I'm Gabriele, 26 years old male student from Rome, Italy. I'll move to Sydney at the beginning of March to study at UTS for a PhD in Pharmacy. I'm looking for a place to stay for a few months just to settle up in Sydney, and if the place is good it could become my definitive place! I'm an easy going and tidy guy, I love to live in a quiet place and to cooperate with my flatmates in order to keep it clean. But I also enjoy to have fun with good company, especially during the weekends. I'm a really good cook, therefore great meals are included with my company! ;)
Hi I'm Kat, Aussie nutrition student who works in the health industry, chilled and easygoing, looking to live with like-minded people :) I am a bit of a foodie/health nut, love going on walks, yoga, having a few social drinks on weekends and most of all, cooking! I am not looking to move into a party house, just somewhere I know will be a good, quiet environment for studying and working (I work from home occasionally). I do enjoy a good Netflix binge and a glass of wine at night, and plan little trips away with friends. Looking forward to living with someone equally chilled with a positive outlook on life :)
Hello! I'm Lewis, originally from London, recently moved to Sydney for work. Looking for a room in a sharehouse a commutable distance to North Sydney. I'm into all sports and enjoy a weekend beer. Looking to move in mid March.
Hey!! I am originally from Melbourne (don't hold it against me :P) and relocated to Sydney a little over a year ago. I am an engineer currently working in sales/strategy for a Healthcare Consultancy. I am a very easy going, reliable, flexible and most importantly - clean. In my opinion, living with a flatmate is more like sharing a home, as opposed to living in a hotel. This means that I am more than open to occasionally dining together and sharing groceries where appropriate. I will, however, have the utmost respect for your personal space and time. I work relatively late during 'school nights' so I try to get out of the house during the weekends. My weekends are spent outdoors... trying to make the most of the Sydney sunshine. **I am looking at moving in mid-March** Please feel free to message or call me directly if you would like to get in touch. Cheers, Omkar
