Full-time student moving to Hobart on August 5th. I've been studying in Canberra for one year and I'll study in Hobart for another year. Will probably work part-time in Hobart once I settle. I'm reserved but friendly and willing to spend some time with people. I love watching movies and going out for walks. I love the sea!
I am looking for suitable accommodation in Hobart or surrounding areas. I am 29 years old professional engineer and moving to Tasmania on skilled migration, so initially I am looking for accommodation for 2,3 months and if agreed mutually the duration can be prolonged later on. I am a clean, friendly and open minded person, like to socialize and meet new people. At the same time, I respect the privacy of others and also know that everyone needs some personal space too.
Hi, I'm currently a student at UTAS and looking for accommodation for my final year of my degree, (B. Medical Research) during 2019/2020. I have been living at the university's city apartments for 3 years and hope to find somewhere near the city. Looking for 1 or 2 rooms for either myself alone or with another friend (also a student). Move in date flexible
Currently studying law and psychology at UTAS, whilst working part-time. Right now i'm in student living but looking to expand towards something bigger. Looking for either 1 room just for myself, or 2 rooms if available for a friend. Something closer to the city or uni would preferable.
I am a high school science teacher with a background in chemistry. I am a choir director and an a cappella singer, and spend many nights out rehearsing and singing. I like board games, card games, and video games.
Hello, I have recently moved to Hobart to start a new job. I work as a health professional in the city and I am also doing postgraduate study in Medicines Management at UTAS. I am looking for a share-house or to take on a lease (house or unit) in the central Hobart area. I am a friendly, clean and considerate person with good communication skills. I would like to live in a location where I can walk or cycle to work - Sandy Bay, West Hobart, South Hobart, North Hobart and Battery Point are good areas. I am ideally looking for a medium or large bedroom with some sunlight. Furnished or unfurnished is fine. I would prefer long-term and I am willing to pay up to about $260 pw rent for a good sharehouse, and more for the lease on a unit or house. I live a healthy lifestyle. I'm a qualified yoga teacher and I do yoga every morning. I like to recycle and use enviro-friendly cleaning products. I am creative and enjoy playing my flute occasionally. I especially like getting out into nature for a bush walk. I enjoy having good conversations with housemates, and I also also appreciate quiet time and space. I don't mind dogs but I absolutely love cats - if you have a cat that would be a plus! :) I hope to hear from you.
Hello! Recently stayed in Hobart for six weeks, after visiting eight countries, and fell in love with Tasmania. Arriving August 10 to go to school. From Oregon, USA and enjoy hiking, art, cooking, and travel. Have a very friendly, laid back and respectful demeanor. I keep a tidy space and like to be social while also appreciating down time. My career has been in state government/politics. Looking for a room/space to rent and pretty flexible. Would love something long-term, 6+ months, but open to even a month stay as I get settled. Please let me know if you have any questions. Very excited to call Tassie home soon!
