Hi, Antoine and I (Cara) are easy going, clean and quiet. We love eating and making tasty food & beverages. Both keen nature lovers and have both travelled and house shared with numerous people. Antoine is a French wine maker & I am jack of all trades...from furniture to food. Cheers
Hi I'm Xiaoshu, 35 years old, female, I'm moving to Hobart to take an 1 year course next year. It's kind of my gap year to enjoy a cool aussie climate here. I love travel, thinking about traveling around Tasmania this year. i'm searching for place to settle down, team up or share house with others.
Hey! I'm a 28 year old kiwi, just moved down to Hobart from Melbourne to do my Masters in Clinical Psychology. Is a fun adventure as I literally don't know a soul down here! Have lived in a flat share since I was 18, so almost 10 years! I most definitely respect a place and enjoy a clean and tidy home. I enjoy socializing with my house mates if we're both home but respect space and like mine also! I love to cook and will always have a fridge of healthy food. I love going to markets, yoga, keeping fit, spending time with family and friends, live music, quiet wines and general hangs! Looking for a cosy home rather than a flat!
Avid lover of fine wine, food and culture. Moving from Melbourne to Hobart to commence a new role with MONA in mid November. My professional background is in wine so you know there'll always be a bangin' pinot noir or chardonnay on hand. I'm a social person by nature, however i'm always respectful of personal space. I always ensure to be neat and clean and would expect the same of whoever I live with. I am making the move from interstate and stepping well beyond my comfort zone so would ideally love to live with people who are as social as I am. In my personal time I read, write and incessantly watch (and quote) brooklyn nine nine or the office. I will be in Tasmania from Friday 16th, November and would love to catch up with any prospective house mates for a wine/coffee. I love exploring new cultures, cuisines and places and it goes without saying that I am always up for some good wine and better banter.
Hi there! My name is Simon and I'm from Copenhagen, Denmark. I'm going to study at UTAS for one semester and I currently know absolutely no-body in Tasmania. I guess thats one of the reasons I search for accommodation and some flatmates in same breath, since its really nice to have a social foundation. I've been living with smaller groups of people for four years and I've never experienced any serious issues that couldn't be solved over a glass of wine. Personally I'm very open-minded and a good listener. I really like rock-climbing, and for many years music has been my main hobby. The last couple of years I've become quite interested in programming and meditation. Sooo, I like jumping into new stuff. I'd really like to get to know people who are looking to have a social room for sharing, relaxation and good experiences, where theres space to get involved in each others lifes, but also priorities having the opportunity to study (or binge) behind closed doors :) Best regards Simon
I am Shamim from Malaysia. 28 years old Male. I am going to UTAS for pursuing my Ph.D. program. I am looking for accommodation from 1 January 2019. I'm friendly, respectful and punctual. Also, I am caring about other housemates!
Hey Guys, I am a PhD student from New Delhi, India doing PhD in Astronomy from University of Tasmania. I work full time. I don’t smoke and I’m very clean to live with. I am respectful of others space and belongings. I think of myself as an outgoing, friendly person who is easy to hang out with and I don't mind pets. I love to cook food and don't mind having a glass of wine or two with my housemates Please get in touch if you have a space available and you think I might be a good fit. Cheers, Jay
Hello! I am a medical research student at UTAS and work at Salamanca market on weekends. I am clean, quiet and friendly. I enjoy bushwalking on weekends and spending time at the beach! I am looking for a quiet, female only home while I complete an honours year at Menzies Institute. I am flexible and low maintenance. I'm hoping to find a nice home to spend the next year.
Hi! I'm looking for a place ideally in the sandy bay, battery point or CBD area :) I'd describe myself as energetic, positive and passionate :D I'd be keen to live with people that are all about the good vibes! I'm not a party person, I don't drink, smoke or anything like that but don't mind if you do, I'm sweet either way. My main interests are the outdoors and fitness. I'm always keen for an adventure or a dance :P Ideally I'd wanna live with people that want to be friends! As anyone, I need my space, but its cool to build a little family with the people you live with in my opinion :) If you wanna get to know me more, don't hesitate to message me. I always enjoy a good convo, hope to hear from ya!! :D
My name’s Julia, and my boyfriend is Adam. We’re both new to Tasmania, and plan on living in Hobart for the next 4-5 months or so. We are a quiet and tidy couple, very reliable in meeting rent and other expenses. We understand the close proximity to our neighbours and will be respectful of their privacy. We are not big on partying, and would prefer to go on a hike and explore the natural beauty that is Tasmania in our free time. I’m from Sweden and Adam is from the Gold Coast, Australia. We are working in Hobart in retail and the hotel industry respectively. Look forward to hearing from you about availability. Kind regards Julia and Adam
Hi! Chelsea here, 18 year old female studying law at Utas in 2019. Have lived out of home for over a year now and fully acquainted with house mate ettique, paying bills, and house upkeep. Sadly leaving behind my current roomates for something a little closer to the uni. In my spare time I love socialising with my housemates and friends, playing guitar, reading and playing PS4. Froth a beer and a bit of red and looking for like minded roomates who are willing to hang out but also respect personal space and property. Looking for either people to team up with or for a place in a sharehouse. At this stage I would be looking to move out around late december, but happy to negotiate. Let me know if this sounds like you!
Hi! I'm a 25 year old studying Ancient History at UTAS. I'm looking for a new long-term rental as my current landlord has decided to sell at end of my lease. I am pretty laid-back, respectful, quiet, tidy, friendly but introverted (I tend to read or watch Netflix) I would love a place where people are around in the evenings to catch up. I love books and movies/tv shows (particularly horror and fantasy/sci-fi!) history, pizza and having the odd drink of a good cider. I don't drive, so good access to public transport is a priority
Hi, my name is Caitlyn and I’m a 20 year old who’s relocating from Queensland to Hobart in mid December. I’m a Christian girl who has a very friendly (desexed) Maltese X Poodle and I’m ideally looking for a place with another dog to keep her company. I will be spending most of my time on campus studying & on my time off either working or with friends. I value my space & privacy but still am friendly & considerate of my fellow roomies & enjoy having a good relationship with them! I’m basically just looking for a affordable, drama free, clean, relaxed environment & ideally not too far from TasTAFE.
Hey! I'm currently living in Canberra, but am moving to Hobart next year for work and am looking for roommates or accommodation. :) I like to think I'm easy to get along with, I'm clean and I love to cook (and eat, obviously). I enjoy anything from chilling on the couch with some wine and cheese to hiking and climbing. I have an adorable little kitten who is snuggly and loves tummy rubs. She's indoors only and I promise is super minimal maintenance (I've miraculously trained her to use human toilets, so I'm not joking about this). Please shoot me a message if you have an appropriate place or are also looking for someone to room with next year! :) xx
Respectful, Clean and tidy, have had experience in other share houses living with different men and women. Possibly will be out of the house a lot working while uni has yet to start I have lived in Tasmania about two or three months now, moved from Newcastle. Living and working around Cygnet but looking to relocate up to Hobart to start a new uni degree next year in Feb. I mainly work in the kitchen at the Red Velvet Lounge in Cygnet but have also been doing some work for art classes in and around Hobart.
Currently working as a Registered Nurse at the Royal Hobart Hospital. I'm calm, caring and enjoy spending time with others. I am clean and always ensure that I am considerate of others, having lived in a share house previously. Love Netflixing days at home, as well as days eating out and exploring with friends.
Hello! My name is Kimberly (25) and i'm a full time working Oral Health Therapist. My partner Ben (24) and I are hoping to live with some flatmates short term while we look for house to live in permanently. Ben is a disability support worker who works roughly four to five days a week, and will do the overnight shift on occasion. We both share fairly different interests - Ben being quite the gamer while I enjoy training at the gym. We're both tidy people and easy to get along with, though we may be a bit quiet at first. We also own a cute 11 week old cockatiel named Piccolo, and he's the cutest bird you'll ever meet! Please send us a message if you would like to know more! We're always happy to meet new people :)
Im moving to work full time with Parks and Wildlife Service of Tasmania. Im easy going fun adventurous, I like to scuba dive and spend time outdoors and enjoy a good IPA. I also love coffee and have a good quality coffee machine. I have a gorgeous dog and the both of us are looking forward to moving to Tassie. Ideally i am looking for a shed space to set up a workshop and a yard for the dog but she likes to be inside as well. In the right situation I would be interested in a longer stay otherwise I am looking for somewhere to stay until i can find something more suitable.
I am coming to Hobart for six weeks to work at UTAS as part of my PhD project. Therefore, I will probably spend most of my time working in the lab. When I am not working I am watching birds. I am a bird enthusiast and I cannot wait to see some galahs. If I am not working or stalking some poor feathered creatures, I am into video games, art and lifting heavy objects in the gym. As a flatmate I am quiet, tidy and easy going.
