Hello, I am coming as an exchange student from northern Norway (opposite end of the world) to study at the university from beginning of July to mid-November. I am a 22 years-old female named Emilia and currently studying Automatic Engineering. I love everything that has to do with nature, and in Norway I am busy with kayaking, cross-country skiing, surfing, hiking and climbing besides the study. I will probably engage myself in sports in Tasmania too, and at the same time keep on working with school. I am tidy and quiet, no pet or car, safe payer. The best would be to live in a furnished room, so I will not need to bring my bed to a 30 hours’ flight travel. Hope to hear from you, Emilia Basioli Kirkvik
I am extremely neat and love to keep things in their place. I am passionate about fitness and clean eating but I will always be fine with having a wine to relax on a Friday or Saturday. I am starting work full time in Seven mile beach (willing to travel at least 30 minutes for work as i already do this anyway) . I do love meeting new people but I also love 'me' time. I get along with almost everyone and will go out of my way to please my room mates. I do have a partner that may come to visit once a month.
Hi I'm an international student doing a PhD at UTAS so I spend most of my time at uni. I'm open mind, respectful, easy going and sociable but also enjoy and respect privacy. I'm looking for a place to feel at home, not a full time party house but the occasional dinner, beer or movie night with a couple of friends and housemates. I like camping and outdoors in general, I love to live in Tassie and explore the surrounds. I prefer a place to stay for a while and is walking distance to UTAS.
I'm Hemy(Yi-Ting Wu), a 27-year-old girl from Taiwan. I'm going to Tasmania for working holiday. I worked in a travel agency as a director of Ticketing sector, and I'm also a tour leader. The reason I go on working holiday is that I've dreamt to live abroad for a long time. I need to discover more! I choose Tasmania because it's a super beautiful place full of nature, and I'm really excited to see aurora there too. - To be a friend, I'm a bit shy at the beginning (or you can say I'm being polite), but actually I'm easy going and outgoing, my friends think I'm funny and I smile/laugh a lot. - To be a housemate, I'm tidy, helpful, considerate and respectful. Hope you'll like me! :D - I hope I can find a good job and stay at the same place to discover more about this city. Therefore, I'll probably stay longer if it is possible. I'll arrive at Hobart on June 1st. I need to stay at the CBD for the beginning few days. Then I can move in my ideal house/flat as soon as possible(depends on the available date of the room). I can't wait to meet my new life there!!! Please feel free to ask if you need more information about me.
Hi, I'm Léa, I'm French and I'm looking for a place to stay in Hobart. I'm working at Mona during 5 - 6 month. I'm interested in art, curation and winemaking. I'm looking for a housemate friendly and respectful :) I stay open to any questions about me and accommodation's details as well.
Hi my name is Nicole. I'm from Chile and I'm traveling with my boyfriend Matt that is from Ireland. We are hoping to spend the next year in Hobart so we are looking for good accommodation with fun people to share with. We are in our late 20's and working.
I'm a 19 year old full-time student at UTAS, I'm doing a Bachelor of General Studies (Arts) Pathway. I am also currently looking for work. I generally keep to myself and I'm a pretty laid back person. I spend most of my time at Uni or in my room. I would preferably like somewhere that doesn't mind visitors as I would like my boyfriend to be able to visit me once a week or so. I am a quiet person but I also enjoy conversations with others. I have basic cooking skills and I am a clean & tidy person.
We are a Sri lankan couple. I will be starting my postgraduate at UTAS on July 2017 and my husband accompanies me. We are easy going, quiet, tidy, respectful and sociable. We are looking for nice flatmates with whom can enjoy a good chat. We like sports, do exercise and watch tv on weekends.
I like good communication, friendly atmosphere, people, cat, being environmentally conscious, being open and socialising, cooking. Sing if you want to sing, laugh if you need to laugh, cry if you need to cry - interested in living with people who are authentic in the world. I drink very rarely. Not interested in altering the mind through anything other than yoga, breath, good conversations and the amazing beauty of the world around us. (PS, I am slightly older than my age listed but I am always told I act/look younger so I may as well knock some years off! Why not?!) Interested in starting up a share house, or a room in a house. Like to live with at least one other.
I am from Singapore, currently a student at UTAS looking for affordable accommodation near campus. I like to keep things really neat and organized especially in shared living spaces. I cook a little. I love board games, cycling and food! I can't live without my hot showers! Let's talk about food, travel, science and anything under the sky. *Astronomy is also fine thou.. :)

My partner and I are looking for a place to live. We enjoy a good laugh and a chat (but also respect your privacy). About us: I'm studying to be a teacher (early childhood education). I'm originally from Queensland and have traveled a lot before moving to Tasmania. I enjoy anything to do with nature, art and science fiction. Joe works professionally in the disability support sector and studies public health. He likes music, technology and a nice cuppa. He's a true local and has grown up in Hobart. If you're interested please don't hesitate to contact us :)
Hey my names Kira. I'm 21 years old and currently working in Hobart working for the government full time. I'm currently having to move out of my beautiful town house due to the owner moving back in. I have until July to find a new home 🏡 I love cups of tea and chats about travel. Now, I do own a rat (don't freak out please) I promise you, he's such handsome and loveable boy. I keep him and his cage super tidy, he's in love with anyone who offers him chickpeas and a game of fetch with a paper ball. 🐀 I'm looking for a place near Hobart area due to work and no licence. Please feel free to message me and ask me any questions about myself ect. ☺️
Hey guys! I'm moving back to Hobart to study and am looking for somewhere to live. I have lived in share houses for 3 years, so know the ins and outs. I am tidy, like my own company, but don't mind a beverage now and again. Studying Fine Arts, really enjoy movies, food, drinking, music. Will be living in Wollongong until late June so can't come to check places out in person, but can skype or whatever! Receiving Centrelink, and hopefully have a job lined up when I arrive. Definitely interested in teaming up too! Contact me if you have a place!
I'm extremely considerate, clean and organised. I'm a chef by trade and run my own business. Not a huge party goer but enjoy entertaining and listen to a wide range of music. Originally from Sydney, lived brissy 17 years and looking for a sea change and Hobart stole my heart. I have a very creative side and wicked sense of humour
I am currently studying at UTAS and work casually in the CBD. Looking for people who may be doing the same, or just looking for a reliable and clean housemate. I am also interested in starting a new sharehouse - happy to meet up with people for a bit and see whether you think we'd be good housemates. I do have a cat who will be moving with me! She is very snuggly and generally well behaved, although loves to play. She is socialised with dogs as well! Outside smoker.
I'm a clean and tidy professional guy. I enjoy having fun and hanging out, but also enjoy quiet down time. All I'm looking for is a clean house and a nice housemate/housemates. My move in date is flexible. Cheers!
I currently live in Sydney with my family and studying a Bachelor of Visual arts in Sydney. I'm in a band, and I love the company of good mates. I teach recorder to a class of 8yr olds. I'm a Christian and enjoy time at church and fellowship, and leading youth group. Would love to spend my summer in Tassie where I've got some great friends already.
