Hi we are looking for a new place as our current place has become unavailable for a new lease and our flat mates are moving interstate. Ideally we need our own bathroom and a large room to live and sleep in. I have a small well trained dog that is never left at home alone. My partner is from Thailand and I am Australian. I am a self employed landscaper and I spend most of my time working. Sometimes I have to work from home so a room big enough for a desk is desirable. I am well educated and I can’t live with people who regularly drink alcohol or use drugs. I’d like to live with people who are well educated and see things how it is. Must have a sense of humour. Must have job. I have land and a container from which I store all my tools and work materials. I also have all my “other” stuff in a container at storage facility. Therefore I travel light, ie I only need to bring minimal things to the room. (Bed, desk, clothes, gas Weber (optional), esky, bar fridge (optional) , girlfriend, dog and kitchen sink.) I have a classic car which I could store at my land but a secure shed/garage would be ideal. I need a secure place (outdoor is ok) to park my Ute as it usually has loose tools in the tray. Sometimes I bring my trailer home so room to park and turn around with a trailer would be convienient but not essential. I have a small well trained dog that comes to work with me during the week and often stays at my mother’s house on weekends. A room with outdoor access would be good but not essential. We return to Thailand several times per year. So Every few months we are gone for a month. I don’t steal or lie, I don’t have undesirable visitors. I pay rent ahead or on time.
We are very easygoing and friendly people who enjoy our privacy and comfort. We currently work full-time hours (I work day, he works evenings) and are looking for a nice space for the both of us to move out into. Daniel enjoys gaming, I enjoy working on my small business projects from my laptop and dancing. In our spare time we enjoy eating out, watching movies and every now and then do something outdoors.
Hi! We're two Tasmanians moving to Brisbane for uni in 2019. We're both easygoing, open-minded people who enjoy a quiet beer of an evening and are respectful of others' space. Abbie is studying Forensic Science and Criminology at Griffith university, loves true crime docos, and is a huge fan of the Melbourne Demons. She's fond of music, and dabbles in bands when time allows. Harley is studying Paramedic Science at QUT, loves history, and tries to stay active through Muay Thai. He loves to cook, enjoys reading, and loves animals. He also enjoys watching sport, particularly cricket and the NBA.
Hey! I'm looking to move out mid February 2019 or a little earlier! I'm a uni student who works part time, and already have had experience living out of home. I'm pretty relaxed and don't mind a good chat, but still appreciate some time to myself. Looking to move in with easy-going, but also well-organised and respectful roommates.
Hi my name is Jacynta and I’ve just moved to Carindale from the northside of Brisbane. I’m currently staying with my brother until I find a place. I’m a hairdresser and work full time at Carindale Westfield. I’m clean and tidy. Happy to socialise as I don’t know anybody over this side. Not a party person. Please feel free to message me with any questions
I come with two beautiful pets... a sweet old cat for and a lovely young dog/personal trainer. Must be animal lover, not tolerater. Looking for a nice, relaxed home and people. I'm honest to a fault and reliable.
I'm James :) I'm a 21 year old (nearly 22) post-grad physiotherapist who just graduated this year and will be working full time at PA hospital next year and am looking for a place to live. I moved down from the Sunshine Coast in my first year of Uni and while I've been studying I lived by myself for my first year in student accommodation and then after that have been living with my Aunty and Uncle. A bit about me: I'm a hard working person who enjoys being independent but am also more than happy to hang out and chill :) I'm also very tidy (my aunty can vouch for me there!) and I enjoy cooking. When I'm not working/studying I enjoy keeping active - playing touch football and running or swimming. I also enjoy reading and playing guitar…but not too loudly :) I don't smoke or drink (alcohol). But I still enjoy a good yarn.
I'm a 26yo working full-time in the pro sports industry. It'd be great to find housemates to enjoy some downtime with and try new activities. I'm looking for housemates of a similar age who are positive, driven and know how to have some fun. In my downtime I enjoy: - Cooking and trying new foods - Going to the gym, Bodyboarding, Ukulele and singing badly - Board Games, Reading, Winding down in front of a view or nature - Watching/playing sports A bit more: - Pet friendly (definitely dog friendly!) - During my work season I'm fairly busy and will be frequently away on weekends - I highly value honesty and reliability and would expect the same from potential roommates My number 1 priority will be finding great housemates that I'll fit in with so if you think we might be a good fit shoot us a message - Thanks!
Hi my name is Laura I’m 23 years old and have just started a job in Foster Care (Monday to Friday) after studying a bachelor of social work. I’m a friendly, easygoing person who enjoys quiet weeknights and will probably be out and about most weekends or have people over, to be frank will probably go out clubbing once a month or so. I’m quiet a social person so would enjoy housemates who are friendly and up for a chat! Most importantly I’m clean, respectful and will pay my bills on time. My Instagram is: Lauz95 if you want to know more about me 😄
I'm a Sri Lankan student studying in QUT. I have lived in Brisbane for 1.5 years I have lived in which I lived in a multi-cultural share house. I'm friendly quiet, I clean up after myself and great to hang with and have a beer or two
I am usually off on my own in my room but I am always welcome for a chat or greetings, during holidays I tend to add a bit of chocolates or such to share with people, and in general happy to share meals. I love animals so I am mostly looking for sharehouses with dogs (Especially dogs), Cats, and birds, or all three.
Single, non-smoking, working professional that is also studying. I am extremely well travelled and as such very respectful of other people and very relaxed and easy to get on with. Just looking for a nice chill place to call home, where i can relax, study and chill out with good people. I don't mind the odd social drink from time to time, but looking to get more active and join a local gym more than hit up the local bars at this point in my life. Just moved back from a stint in cairns and before that overseas, so a furnished bedroom is a must as is fast internet, other than that i am pretty easy.
Hey! I am a 48 yr old kind & outgoing person. I have raised 4 kids so I have been through thick & thin & am currently looking for a place to stay to get me through this next stage of my life. I love to cook & always keep things clean. I am looking for a peaceful positive environment to live & be apart of. I also know how to chip in where necessary I am seeking to live just south of the river as it is close to my workplace at Yeronga. Things I consider important for a living space are being safe, happy, respectful of both people & property & clean & orderly. I am not home alot in between working fulltime, going to gym & socializing with friends. Am keen to hear from you if you think we could be successful flatmates😊
Hi! We're a pair of friends looking for a third roommate! We both love playing board games and get competitive over who's the best uno player. We're happy to share our food, and David will happily cook any recipe you like, as long as you ask nicely! We're also both really keen to make friends with our roommate, and would love to be able to do group activities like bowling and escape rooms! We're also both very tidy, and love relaxing and chilling on the couch talking about absolutely nothing. David has two cats, Spencer (the older sister), and Griffin (the annoying baby brother), and will be bringing them with him! We're looking for a relatively cheap place even if that means getting further from the heart of Brisbane and into the suburbs, and hoping for a place with a yard, as we might be looking at getting a dog sometime next year. We're extremely flexible with move dates and can move anytime in January. The max budget listed is our combined max budget, but if we could get cheaper that'd be even better!
Hey! I work full time in Murrarie and am looking for 1 or 2 people to share a house with that is in the surrounding areas! I am pretty easy going, generally like to keep to myself but also keen for a laugh and a beer! I am tidy and respectful of others. Love my sport and hanging with mates on the weekends.
Not looking to move until end of January, start of February. Will be in my final year of my nursing degree at Griffith Univeristy in 2019. I currently volunteer at a community mental health non-profit. Single, non-smoker, sociable and love pets, but don't have any. Clean and quiet but sociable. Looking to either get something for myself, or something to share with people. Hoping to have a study space, and somewhere outside to hang out and have a small garden. Looking for people who are clean but sociable as well. Hoping to share a few meals together, and maybe go out and do some fun activities.
***NOT LOOKING TO MOVE IN UNTIL MARCH/APRIL 2019 - JUST BROWSING*** Hi, I'm Michael - I'm 21 and I work full time in Greenslopes as a technical engineer/trainer for a construction software company. I spend half of my time in Brisbane and the other half travelling around to see clients in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia, or sometimes in Europe. I also run 2 mid sized companies of my own in the construction/software industries, and study a full time degree at university in Construction Management, so I'm a pretty busy guy. But I would like a chilled out place with friendly roommates (or studio apartment of my own) to come home to most nights. Whether you're social like myself, or keep to yourself, I really don't mind as long as you're friendly, tidy, and easy to get along with - just like me :) Feel free to let me know if you have any questions, happy to answer.
Hi there, my name is Meg and I am 20 years old studying primary education at university in my final year. I also work permanent part time at optus telcom. I am respectful, tidy and am pretty social but also like my personal time as well.
Pretty cruisey independent full time working. I like a clean house and house mates that are considerate as I am always paying attention to the "vibe" of the house. Respect others and their space. Can't play poker to save my life and I suck at a good BBQ lol But always easy to talk to!
Hi My name is Kaitlyn, I'm 26 and I am looking for a place to live near my uni at Mt Gravatt or work in Annerley! I have a Labrador dog named Lola who is a beautiful, friendly girl. She is 7 months old, is mostly an outside dog, although she has some time inside on her bed! She is pretty well trained, knows not to come inside etc. I am studying psychology at Griffith at the moment and just finished my second year. I am looking for somewhere to focus on my studies, play with my dog and relax.
Hi, Male couple with 2 Labrador girls <2yrs old, looking for a place to stay for 6-9mths until our dream house is built. We are a quiet, respectful couple that both work Full-time in Biologics and Finance sectors. We are non-flamboyant, easy going guys with no BS attitudes. Please give us a shot if we sound like a fit for your household :)
Hey I'm Nat! I'm 25 years old, from Melbourne and am going to be in Brisbane playing football from the 5th Jan to late April. I'm very laid back, clean and tidy, like a chat but also keep to myself a lot. I won't be up late partying or anything like that - training will be six days per week so that will take up most of my afternoons and weekends, and I will be travelling some weekends for games. Shoot me a message if this sounds good to you!
