Hello! I’m from America and will be pursuing a masters at UQ beginning semester 1, but will be moving to Brisbane about a month in advance to settle in. I’m pretty outgoing and love to make friends, especially with my roommates. However I’m respectful of privacy and pretty tidy, relaxed and easy-going at home. In my spare time I love being active and doing things outdoors. I keep pretty busy and usually use time at home to unwind whether that's watching Netflix, reading, or having a chat with my roommate(s). Since I’ll be coming from overseas I’m looking for a place that already comes furnished. I’m looking for something that would be at least a 6 month commitment, but possibly longer upwards of a year as well. Looking forward to connecting with people :)
Friendly, responsible and clean! I am very independent and like to have my own space but I also like to socialise from time to time. Moving from Melbourne to study at UQ and work part time at a gym. I have a very quiet and friendly ragdoll cat.
I am from Melbourne and I will be moving up to Brisbane soon. I would like a share-house that would preferably accept my kitty. I would be studying and casual to pt work. I am a bit reserved at the beginning. I prefer a calm house and not a party house as I like to relax at home after work/uni. I enjoy movies, animals and travel.
Recently got full time work in Brisbane, I work long hours, never defaulted on rent & is always paid on time. I'm clean, respectful & looking to meet new people. I enjoy going to the gym, bike riding & the beach when I get a chance.

Hi Everyone! Looking for some roommates to move out into a share house or apartment. I'm super clean and love to live a healthy lifestyle. I'm working full time, friendly, love going on adventures, being active. I also am looking for a roommate that doesn't mind space, as I love my alone time. I'm looking to move out in December or in the new year.
Looking for two rooms in a share house is East Brisbane/surrounds. We are two friends in our early 20s who are laid back, clean and respectful housemates. We would like to share with people of a similar age who we can call friends not just housemates. Both of us work full-time 8:30-5PM and would ideally like to share with people who have a similar schedule. Roonie: 25 year old social, outgoing girl. Likes to stay active as well as the occasional night out. Cameron: easy going 23 year old software engineer. Very laid back and easy to chat to. We are happy to hear from existing places who think we could be a good fit (max 3-4 room house) or people who are looking for flatmates to share an unoccupied property. Our move-out date is the weekend of the 9th December. Looking to pay around $160-180/week each for rent **The property must also be cat friendly** Hope to hear from you soon!
It's me, 25 years old with my almost 1 year old gorgeous son and one on the way. We are very clean, tidy and peaceful. I am an open minded person yet quiet, non smoker and enjoy the values of life. I love the beach and ocean. We are animal friendly so other pets don't worry us. Momentarily i am undertaking a TAFE course as a interior designer and decorator and searching for a casual job near my new home. I enjoy drawing, crafting and the occasional reading. .
Hi, Im Chantal, a 25 year old studying law full time whilst working part time as a paralegal in the city. I have a 5 year old pug named kai who is basically my child. We are both clean and outdoor enthusiast. We are also both food enthusiast however, Kai is on a diet due to his unfortunate issue of easily putting weight on, so we tend to cook together and he will miss out. I am needing to find a room as my long term partner is moving overseas for work and I am not wanting to take the current lease on, therefore, I want to move in with a couple of people who I can shared conversations with. As I said I am studying and therefore do not tend to venture out party wise. I will either be at uni, at work, at home studying or at any spare moment in time flying my paraglider somewhere in the Gold Coast Hinterland. If I sound like someone you could put up with, please let me know :) Chantal
Hello! Looking for a shared accomoation with one or two flatmates. A clean, private bedroom with utility bills and internet included in rent would be fantastic. I'll be studing at UQ, St Lucia start of March, currently working full time. Let me know if you're looking for a flatmate! Cheers, Jazz :)
Hi I'm Corey, a 23 y/o straight male who has just moved back home to QLD from Melbourne. I'll be working 12 hour shifts (days and nights) which won't suit everyone so I'm looking for a place that's okay with me sleeping during the day on a regular basis. However, I work for Carlton and United Breweries in Yatala, so the upside is I'll usually keep the fridge well stocked! I enjoy watching sport (especially cricket and NRL) and you'll usually find me tinkering with electronics of some sort or searching for good coffee (although Melbourne didn't *quite* turn me into a coffee snob). If you think I fit the bill, please flick me a message on flatmates and we can arrange a time to catch up! Looking to move mid-December but fairly flexible.
Hello, I would normally consider myself as a pretty funny, very laid back and outgoing person. I love life and I love making new friends. The reason I need to move is due to a very unfortunate breakdown in my long term relationship about a week ago. So things are obviously very rough right now. With me will be my super cute cat, Luna. She is a very good and clean indoor cat. Seriously she is the most comforting thing if you’re having a shit day. I am clean, and respectful. I also love to cook delicious meals! As much as these circumstances suck so much, I am weirdly excited about this new chapter and making new friends. I’m not ready to live on my own just yet.
Tidy person who cleans up after myself and always pay rent on time. I have a very friendly 3 year old Kelpie. I work fulltime as a tradesman, enjoy the occasional beer along with staying active when I feel like it. Would prefer having no more than 2 other people to share a house with.
Hi we are Jo and Omi and we both work full time. We are friendly, very clean and easy to get along with. We are looking out for a place that we can move in to on the 27th of November. Thanks!
Hi, I'm a quiet, clean, sociable guy. I love board games and getting out of Brisbane on adventures. I'm looking for a place close to UQ and Woolloongabba for work and uni, I have a bunch of furniture and white goods to contribute (I have a place to store them if not needed) and I do like to cook so a half decent kitchen is a must.
Please read this fully before contacting me as I am looking for quite specific type of people to share with only. Please indicate you have read this all by using the code word written somewhere below. I am wanting to share with conscious, spiritual people in their late 20’s to mid 30’s who enjoy meditation, yoga, gym, pilates, hiking etc and cooking healthy food utilising organic produce as much as possible only. Ultimatley I am wanting to expand my existing circle of these types of people in my life and live this lifestyle with ease, grace and comfort. It would be great if house mates want to do these types of things together regulary and keep each other accountable and motivated. I can move into an existing place or we can team up and get a place together as long as it is fully furnished and everything meets below desires. Location wise anywhere from Lutwyche to Woolloongabba would be suitable. I am clean, organised and tidy without being obsessive. I am respectful and friendly and always pay bills on time, usually within a week of recieving them. You would need to be the same as well. I am happy to socialise regulary and looking for others who do too but also need my own down time and space so respecting each others privacy is obviously needed. Small, well kept pets that don’t drool, don’t smell bad and are house trained are ok but smokers or drug users are not. I am not vegatarian but I am looking to lessen my meat consumption and learn how to cook vegatarian style and asian food better. Also love using wild caught seafood. I would love housemates who would be keen to either cook/eat together regulary and work out a system where we could either have fun experimenting with recipes and learning from each other or enjoy nights off from cooking by sharing the responsibility. Of course we will all want to do our own things at times but this is an idea to discuss that would help keep a good flow of people sharing a kitchen more streamline and issue free. Healthy eating is a must no matter what though as I generally do not keep soft drink and junk food in the house so the temptation to consume it is not there and you would need to be the same. I work in education and mental health, study psychology and am starting my own community enterprise business in the wellbeing/happiness industry. If housemates are also entrepeneurs or work within health/wellbeing/mental health industry well wouldn’t that be just fabulous haha. I am an avid world traveller (if you love travel as well I look forward to swapping crazy stories). I am looking to move away from the party scene and get a routine back in place so would like to share with people who do not consume a lot of alcohol. The odd quiet drink is ok - I do enjoy having dinner parties (think “Come Dine With Me”) with a few glasses of wine or cider but like maximum once a month or every 2 months would be the ideal for me. If you drink every night or more than a few once a week maximum, I do not wish to share with you as this is what I am looking to get away from. If you don’t drink at all you are more than welcome to be part of the share house but please know that I am keen to throw the odd dinner party still. I would like a big, modern, spacious place in close proximatey to a gym and yoga studio as well as a local fruit and veg market, chinese and indian grocery stores would also be a great bonus, as close to the city as possible but with easy access to major highways at the same time. Private bathrooms for all of us would be ideal and if there was a spare room or nice garden space we can turn into a meditation area I would be in total bliss! I’ve just returned from a round the world trip and my focus is on getting fit and trim again, eating healthy unprocessed food and working on developing my business goals and want to share only with like minded people on the same wave length as this will serve to aid and help each other rather than be a hinderous or distraction. I don’t mind how many of us share together as long as you are of the same mind frame that I have described. Please use the code word yogi so I know you have read this. I will only reply to those who use the code word. I am pretty flexible with my moving date as I am just crashing at my fathers apartment on Bribie Island currently but ideally would like to move late December/early January as I have a loooong commute to my work in Marsden from here. If we are all sharing bond though I could probably move sooner as well. Just need to discuss, really. I was approved at the beggining of the year for the National Rental Affordability Scheme so if we can find a furnished place on the NRAS program this means we would pay around 20% less than normal prices. These are pretty hard to find though. Anyway, if this all sounds good to you then contact me and let’s start a discussion!
I'm easy going, Brazilian, 28yrs old. Single father and musician. Kids live with mum in the sunny coast where I go every weekend. I'm checking some places now but not in a rush to move. But if the right place rises I wouldn't say no. Cheers
I am a working female from the Netherlands. I have been in Australia 5 years now and I am moving from Darwin to Brisbane for work soon (Dec/Jan). I am clean and organised and open-minded. I like my quiet time. I do enjoy sharing a dinner every now and then, or go out for drinks, but I am certainly not a party animal, and I like to be on my own and have peace and quiet :-) I like to bake, so great kitchen is a must. I would also like lots of Internet as I am studying in my spare time, and of course I like to Netflix/Stan. I'm currently watching 'Good Behavior', it's awesome. I am starting a full-time job in Central Brisbane in January, and I have no idea what parts of Brisbane I would like to live in. The most important thing is that it has a good public transport connection to Central Brisbane. I have a lovely special needs dog named Jack. He is awesome, but because of his traumatic past he is not too fond of other dogs. He is good with smaller and super relaxed dogs, once he gets used to them (he just needs some time). I would need a fully fenced yard (preferably a closed fence as he sometimes barks when other dogs walk past). I would like him to be allowed inside the house as well, as dogs need love and company, and I hate to see him outside all day by himself. He's very well-behaved inside. He's also an awesome guard dog. I would like to either have my own place, or share with another professional person (non-smoker) where we both have plenty of space. I do prefer a bit more space than just 1 room, so it would be nice if I could rent a house with a like-minded person where we both have 2 bedrooms for example. Or where person 1 gets the upstairs and person 2 the downstairs so we're not in each other's face all the time.
