Hey! :) I'm Steph, I'm 29, I work full time and study part time, I'm pretty neat and like a clean and tidy house :) Looking to move anytime over the next few months, no rush but happy to do it asap if i was to find the right roomy :) I'm looking to live either the Northside (Nundah, Aspley, Kelvin Grove, Wavell Heights, Bridgeman Downs etc - somewhere near The Royal Bris hospital as thats where i work) or even on the Southside (Springfield Lakes, Augustine Heights, Brookwater, Collingwood Park etc - as thats where i am atm). Ok... so I know a lot of people don't wanna live with a kid but honestly, its really no big deal at all. You can still have friends round etc, nothing would have to change i promise! :) My boy is 9 years old, so if you like playing xbox you guys will be best buds lol He's a good kid, looks after things, helps around the house, is pretty easy going and quiet to live with :) We also have an indoor ragdoll cat named Alice. Shes like a dog and follows you around everywhere and waits at the door when u get home lol :) so cute! So, I'm looking for another person to get a house together. Obviously we will have to apply for houses so you'd clearly need to be approved on that as well to live there :) You'll need to be reliable and pay rent on time, respectful of privacy, the property and of other peoples things, work and have a stable income, funny, preferably single and around similar age. I'd really prefer a house rather than a unit with undercover parking (lock up garage) as I drive a BMW :) I guess starting off with a 6 month lease would be ideal, then it can always be renewed if we want :) The house would need to have at least 3 bedrooms coz I need my own space too and dont want to crammed into the same room with my son lol so I'd have one, he'd have one and you'd have the other one/two etc :) I'd also be keen for a few drinks on a friday or Saturday night to relax and unwind after a busy working week if you are :) I looooove cooking and literally make the best caramel tarts you'll ever eat (i have references for this lol), im pretty easy going, love a good laugh and have a very sarcastic sense of humour. So you'd definitely have to be funny, easy going, down to earth and be able to take a joke lol Anyhoo, hope to hear from you soon to organise a day to meet up and see if we connect :)
Pretty laid back guy who keeps to himself. Always up for a chat but I also understand when others need their space and time for their own. Very respectful, won't touch your things or food, (most important, I won't touch your beer). I work long hours, so I'm barely home. I enjoy a beer or two on Fridays after working Clean and tidy Not interested in a party house. References available if required
Very easy going and tidy, enjoy making new friends and meeting new people. I work about 60hrs a week in sales and generally come home and then go train, I enjoy relaxing and watching movies when home or heading out to the glasshouse mountains for some rock climbing on my days off. I'm a non smoker, and consider myself respectful and relaxed. Just be nice to find a great place with a nice housemate. I require a place with secure parking and Also own bathroom is preferred
30yo Business Admin student, working part time and volunteering with a non-profit organisation. Originally from Melbourne, VIC. I also like to go out and explore Brisbane on the weekends. Generally otherwise quiet, reserved, and keep to myself at home. Non-smoker, and very occasionally drink. If you drink, that's fine, I just don't drink much. Also, as you've read already, I'm 30. I'm not 18 anymore, thus I'm not one to go out partying every night, or even weekends... I'm looking to rebuild my career, so partying is last on my priorities at this stage. I've had experience living by myself. I also am very punctual with rental and utilities payments. I'm always out during the weekdays, either working or volunteering. I can also cook, clean, wash clothes and dishes, vacuum and iron. Very house-domesticated. Also very easy going. Not fussed with other people entering and leaving the house. Happy to have a shared dinner, or even just dinner by myself. Happy to participate and do my share of the workload. We're sharing this house after all, so whatever the house needs is also my responsibility. I like to keep my place tidy as it helps me stay organised. Not allergic to any pets, nor do I have any myself. I'm also not bothered by pets, so I'm quite cool with you having your own pets. If you're keen, give me a buzz on here; I'll happily share you my details with you.
Quiet, clean, active and easy going. I work in IT, am an audio engineer and musician. Lover of American classic cars and vintage motor cycles. Owner of a fighting fish and chihuahua who does not bark and is house trained. I enjoy cooking, cleaning and sport. Can tell you all about the Ghost In the Shell universe and what chilli is best used in 😊 I would like to live alone but open to like minded people.
Hi there, I'm Chris from Berlin, Germany. I just moved to Brisbane on the 27 of July as an exchange student at the QUT (Gardens Point). Staying in a hostel a.t.m. and looking for a nice flatshare for the next 4 month. I'm an open minded and communicative person and lived in a flatshare (male and female) for the last 4 years, so I'm used to cook, having a beer (German stereotype - check! ;), go out dancing, doing sports or just hang out, together with my flatmates. But I also totally understand if someone wants to be alone or just needs some rest. I'm also a clean and tidy person and I like animals, so if you have a pet, this shouldn't be a problem, except it is something creepy! :D Some more about me? For the last 6 years I worked as an event manager (in full-time) for the cultural department of one district office of Berlin. Next to my job I studied in the evenings for the last 2 1/2 years. But now I quitted my job to be able to study abroad for one semester and go on traveling afterwards. I saved enough money and will also try to get a job in bar or sth. similar, so no worries, I will be able to pay my rent easily (even without the job)! If you have any questions, just hit me up! Cheers Chris
Hi everyone, I am a very neat and tidy person. I'm very respectful of others and their need for quiet and personal space, I'm also mature, independent, understanding, fun loving, social and friendly. I'm 18 so I'm always keen for a good night out but I also I like catching up with friends, I'm an active person but I do love my food and I also like chilling at home watching some good old Netflix! Right now I'm on my gap year working on our family property in NSW. I am a farm girl but don't worry I'm not a complete bogan and I went to boarding school in Brisbane so I know my way around and have plenty of friends up there. I'm hoping to move in late July or early August so I'm able to settle in and get a job and earn more money before I start uni at QUT next year. I'm looking for a place that has easy access to the city, is preferably furnished but if not that's ok, I love animals so I'm more than happy to live with pets and I am looking for a place where the rent is under $180! So if you think that I would be a good fit for your house please message me!!!
Hello! My name is Tamara and I am a 24 year old youth worker, Virgo/Libra Cusp vegan. I play roller derby (at quite a high level), have a serious passion for CrossFit (yes, i like to lift up heavy things and put them back down at quite a moderate pace) and am studying Social Work full-time online. I grew up in Western Australia, moved to Victoria, moved to South Australia.. now i'm moving to QLD! I'm very easy going and will pick you up at 3am if you're drunk and need a lift. I'm a pretty clean person, I own more fitness clothes than I do dresses (I guess that kind of tells you how social I am..) and I drink beer and eat pizza (despite the amount of fitness I do). I'm pretty good at accidentally counselling people when they need and crisis management (it's kind of my job!!) I also serenade people at random, so that's fun. The job I am moving up for is a residential care position, so I come with fun stories about what it's like to do that sort of work and you will know if i'm stressed because I will be onto my second bottle of wine whilst ranting on facebook about how the government needs to put more funding into the child protection system. I come with a cat! His name is Dean and he is a 5 year old bengal, he is very musical and loves to talk. He's vaccinated, desexed (sorry dude, I just outed you having no balls on the net) and likes to play fetch. He is purely an indoor cat and completely toilet trained, if you accidentally close the door to his litter tray he will politely pee down the nearest drain. Tl;dr - I am awesome, please let me live in your home!
I like to have fun, but also enjoy time to myself. Very mature for a 23 year old due to moving out of home at an early age. I work a lot and study at the same time.
Hello future flatmate, I am Vivek. A PhD researcher at Griffith university. I am mostly on uni and I am into running and maintain my fitness and be healthy. Hey! I'm an international Master student looking for a new place in Bris. I'm peruvian (south american), friendly and outgoing, but also appreciate some privacy. I split my time between uni and a part-time job. I like to cook healthy food, going out for drinks, taking walks around, and obviously dancing latin music! PD: I'm allergic to cats :(
Just moved up here from Sydney in the last two months and am looking for a private room close to public transport. I am currently studying a bachelor of film at SAE Institute in West End. As long as I can move in sometime in August I don't mind what day. I do NOT have a car so I need to be reasonably close to public transport (train or bus). I am 18 reasonably quite and keep to myself. I have rented before both privately and through an agency so down pat with everything. I have stayed in a share house, granny flat, townhouse and basically the whole lot so anything you got I don't mind. I have some of my own furniture so thats not an issue. I'm pretty easy going, always up for a chat. Aussie background but can't really cook to save my life so hope you're not after a masterchef. I've grown up around pets so although I don't have any of my own they don't bother me. LGBT friendly, you do you boo. Looking for a team up or a room in a current place with not too many people. I like having my own space and need a private room. No room shares. Message me if I seem like you're kinda person :)
Just moved back to Australia after travelling throughout North America for the past two years, and am looking for a new home. I'm social but also enjoy time to myself, I keep busy with language studies, yoga, dancing, reading and swimming. Looking for an open-minded, friendly and clean sharehouse.
