I’m from a small country town couple of hours away, I love animals! I keep to myself I’m very tidy person. Stating to get into fitness while not at work :) I have said I do have pets, I’m hoping to be able to bring my dog with me but if not that will be fine ☺️
Hi there! I am looking for a private room with an en suite or private bathroom. I have to ferrets who live in a cage in my room and do not smell as the cage is cleaned regularly. I am open to keeping them outside. I would like to move into a house with trustworthy people, preferably -30yrs old. I like too live environmentally friendly and enjoy garden work and looking after pets.
Two sisters, Paige is a makeup artist and Ashley (me) works in retail. We are both super friendly and love meeting new people. We are both very tidy and quiet. We are only looking to stay somewhere for a short time (maximum 2months) and looking to move in ASAP :)
We’re two friends, who enjoy socialising but also respect people’s space 🙂. We’ve lived in sharehouses before so we know the importance of being clean and considerate to other roommates. We have a great sense of humour too. Looking to move mid December to early January.
I am a part-time Student at the university of Canberra and have been employed full-time in my chosen industry from the past 2 years. I have a 17Wk old Bernese Mountain Dog (Apollo) who is the most laid back bear you will ever meet, he comes everywhere with me (including inside the house) to uni etc and is only at home during the day on his own 3 days a week as I put him in day care :) He is very well behaved doesn't bark, bite but does sleep and snuggle a lot. Ideally I will need to find somewhere that has a decent sized back yard but do not mind if there are other pets as Apollo Loves everything and everyone. Please send me a message, I would love to hear from you :)
I am a single full-time working professional about to progress in a graduate APS role in Canberra, in the Belconnen area. Open to areas nearby that are within a half-hour bike ride range. I'm quiet and keep to myself mostly but the experience of moving out and sharing a place will help to change things up and get me more active. I'm all about finding a place where we can have an amazing team and build a home out of. I will have a car, bicycle and some personal furniture including bed, desk & chair with computer, and a 60" Plasma TV. Currently, I am mainly seeking a person for a teamup.
I'm a Yoga teacher, dancer, photographer, nature-lover. I'm very tidy, thoughtful and responsible. I am independent with a full life, but I also enjoy the buzz and colour of communal living with good-hearted and gentle people. I like to live in places with beautiful light and near to nature.
Hi there, My name is Kate and I have recently moved from the Sunshine Coast to Canberra (for work). I keep busy during the week, working full time and going to the gym after work. I am happy, friendly and enjoy a chat but I am also very respectful of peoples personal space. I am clean and tidy and will always pay my bills and rent on time :)
I'm considerate and friendly. I clean up after myself and the dog - he is small so would need a property with small dogs or no pets already there. Must be dog lovers. He loves people and is an inside dog when people are home. Outside when no one is home. I believe your home is your haven and you should feel comfortable and part of the dynamic at home whether you are sharing with strangers for living with loved ones.
I'm 23, and work full time for a building company. I'm friendly and easy going, love to have a chat, but also respect others need for space, and expect the same in return. I love an adventure, however I also love binge-watching TV shows and movies. I actually enjoy cleaning so you won't to worry about mess with me! I’m looking for someone interested in finding a house to rent, preferably northside, I don't really mind how far north if it's a good fit. Looking for a pet friendly property. I’m looking for somewhere to call home, and not just a house I share with strangers. If you have any questions, or are interested, please message me!
I am Tikarra, I’m 22 yrs old and work full time in a school as well as studying my Primary Education degree. I play alot of sport so I am usually out most weeknights. I’m quite easy going just looking for relaxed roommates, who are neat and tidy.
Hey there! I'm Eryn and I'm quite the dynamite gal. I've just completed my Cert IV in Musical Theatre but will not serenade you with broadway songs if you do not wish for me to do so. I'm a pretty arty person and love to draw/get my art on and obviously perform. I'm currently working 3 jobs in children's entertaining/educating and customer experience. I'm a fully grown child and love to watch anything disney (classic and pixar), As a theatre girl, I would consider myself outgoing (but not whack job crazy) but I do respect that some people need privacy/quiet time :) I appreciate the casual wine and cheese nights, although I appreciate the cheese more so than the wine. Let me know if you have any more questions!
Hi! My name is Jordan and I have just moved from Melbourne and staying somewhere short term in Canberra. I have a full time job in sales and I am studying next year. I am a very friendly and respectful guy who is social, full of banter and loves to BBQ with a beer in hand. I understand personal space and will always pitch in to keep the house tidy. I enjoy playing Touch footy, basketball and watching a few episodes of Brooklyn99. I am looking for housemates to chill with and who are happy to help me explore Canberra! If it sounds like we would get along well hit me up! Cheers
I am a very sociable person (but fall well short of being a party animal). I've just finished my degree, and having spent 3.5 years as a student, I know the value of privacy for both myself and others. I don't smoke, nor do I use recreational drugs, and I only drink sporadically. I'm a reasonably tidy person who is more than happy to help out with housework. I love football (both playing and watching), gaming, and watching classic-era Simpsons in my spare time.
Hi, I'm an easy going but also shy at first guy who works in childcare and wants a household rather than a group of strangers living together. I like board games and computer games and i like to cook.
I have been living in Canberra for ten months so far. I work full time with the ACT public service, and am based in Belconnen. I like cooking, sewing, singing, painting, and movies! I'm tidy and respectful, and not really into big parties. I have a two year old white-and-tabby indoor cat in Melbourne who I am looking to bring to Canberra. She's sweet and happy, doesn't really bother people, and has a rear joint dysplasia which means she can't jump onto kitchen benches, and can't free-range outside. I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a quiet, laid-back house. Ideally with heating and cooling, off street parking, and some kind of outside space. I have a tv, freezer, and bedroom furniture, and am happy to provide any other furniture if needed.
I'm currently living in Melbourne, but am looking to move to Canberra sometime in the new year to complete my Master of Dietetics at the University of Canberra. My ideal housemate(s) would be someone that is up for a chat and enjoys going for meals/drinks together on the odd occasion. I'm hoping whoever I live with will become a friend rather than a housemate. I'll be busy studying and need a household that is respectful of this, just as I will be respectful of your personal space. I am very clean and tidy and always clean up after myself. I don't enjoy living in a dirty/messy environment and hope my new household feels the same way. I enjoy watching Netflix, reading a good book and anything outdoors. I enjoy the gym (sometimes) and taking long walks, so a walking buddy would be a bonus! I intend to bring my car with me so easy parking (on or off-street) is a must. I'm looking for somewhere within riding distance to the University of Canberra. If you have any questions feel free to message me! :)
Howdy future roommate(s) :-). It looks like i'm yet another graduate moving to Canberra in Jan/Feb for work lol. There are so many of us. I was originally looking to rent something for myself... but so expensive right!!! So i'm moving up from Melbourne and hoping to find some awesome, like minding housemate to either move in with or get together and rent a new place with. So a little about me... I'm 31 and starting a Grad position with Department of Defence in early February. I studied International Relations in Melbourne, but did business and science previously as well. I love the outdoors and often go hiking and get to the snow as often as I can. Good thing i'm moving to Canberra right. I'm pretty active, like to keep fit, but otherwise spend my time outside of work catching up with friends for dinner/drinks, reading, cooking, playing a bit of guitar and finding spontaneous adventures to go on. And I love dogs... so if you have any... points to you haha. I've been living with housemates for the past 3 years so i'm well house trained. I'm super chill at home and more than happy to share a wine and cook a yummy dinner with my housemates, or of course, give people their space and alone time when needed :-). What i'm looking for... Looking for somewhere with a bit of character and something that has a homely feel to it. Hoping to find some roommates that I can be friends with and share the same interests as me. I'm not fussy with age or gender. I have an apartment full of furniture in Melbourne that I can either bring with me or sell and start fresh. Hope to find some peeps soon and start organised life's next adventure :-)
I am mature and am very adaptable. I am clean and tidy. I enjoy socialising but respect boundaries. I am quite active and enjoy the outdoors. I am currently living interstate and will not be in Canberra until mid January.
I'm currently finishing up my masters degree at University of Canberra and work casually. I'm clean, quite, enjoy watching movies and reading non-fiction by the likes of Dan Brown, John Grisham or Lee Child. I'm friendly but also respect other's privacy. I've been living in a shared-accommodation on campus at uni and am seeking a new place nearby since I'm about to complete my course.
Hey there! My name is Olivia and i'll be moving to Canberra January 2019 to start a BA in museum studies and conservation. Looking for a place just after the New year. Also looking for hospitality work if you know any :) A little about me is that I currently work within the entertainment industry as a costume/props maker. So I spend most of my time sewing/making things. I'll also be moving with my 1 year old cat Lucy, who is very sweet, loves treats and prefers to do her business outside. I have a preference for a house/townhouse rather than a apartment (As my cat prefers to spend most of her time outside chasing sticks and leaves) Looking for un-furnished as I already have a nice bed and large desk i'll be moving with. Location Im looking for a place that will be within bicycle ride of Canberra Uni would be amazing! But I also have a car so not a priority :) Any other questions please don't hesitate to ask :D
