After 5 years of uni and two degrees I've landed a graduate job (private sector) however its on the other side of the country! So I'm moving to our great nation's capital from Perth at the end of June/early July and need somewhere to live! my budget is around $200 per week less would be preferable and I'd consider more if it includes bills. I've lived out of home for the past 2.5 years so am very used to sharing space with others. I've very house proud and like to have the place looking neat and nicely decorated. I'm coming over with a car and a suitcase so a place with some furnishings is preferable but not essential I can buy whatever I need. I have a lot of clothes and shoes so need a decent wardrobe and probably room for a tall boy and queen bed. I am allergic to cats so thats a no-go, dogs are fine! I don't know a lot of people in Canberra so it is important to me that I get along with those I am living with and my new housemate(s) will be keen to hang out, explore and drink with me. I'm super active, like to run and generally be pretty healthy, I cook a bit too. I like to be social outside the house on the weekends, going for brunch, shopping and other girl stuff. I also like to binge watch tv (OITNB, Rick & Morty, Jane the Virgin, How to get away with murder, the Mindy project, New Girl, Suits etc) I don't watch a lot of movies but when I do they are easy watching chick flicks, rom coms or will Farrell/Seth Rogan type comedy. Likes: chocolate wine cheese a good pub feed eating sleeping being organised not being hungover dogs Dislikes: bugs people asking me to repeat myself then interrupting me after two words with the answer to my question mushrooms being late If you feel I may fit into your household please let me know! and keep in mind I cant move until 30 June
Hello, I am currently looking for a room around Kingston or nearby suburb. I am currently studying, doing my internship, and working part-time. I am easy going, friendly, tidy and adheres to house rules. I have experienced flat sharing in Singapore for many years before coming to Australia to start a new journey. I have a bubbly personality. Most of the time I will be busy due to studies, work, and internship, but I can still mingle with housemates at dinner or whenever I can. :)
Hey! I am a blues/soul musician studying at CIT currently. I play guitar and am a singer, but am able to play quietly with headphones and such so noise would not be a problem. Pretty easy going, I enjoy my personal space, am (relatively) neat, and would love a couple of easy going flatmates! I do work weeknights however, so would most likely not be home a fair bit of the time
I am a 26 year old working professional moving from Sydney to Canberra. As I am a very social person I am hoping to find a place with people I get along with but that also respect privacy as I do. During the week I work from 8:30-5 and generally enjoy going to the gym or staying home to watch TV and cook. On weekends I tend to be out and about and will most likely be making regular trips to Sydney or back home to the Gold Coast otherwise I would love the flexibility to have a friend or two over for a meal or drink.
Hi, I’m Sam, a 27 year old fulltime public servant looking for a new share house. I’ve lived in share houses in Canberra’s inner north and south for the past few years. I’m easy-going, tidy and happy for an after work chat or drink. Outside of work, I like to catch up with friends, check out local cafes, restaurants and food festivals, and watch Netflix. If you have a place or would like to team-up or know more about me, please get in contact.
Hi! My name is Nina, I'm 24 years old. I'm a young professional, having just been offered a full-time job in Canberra working for an international aid organisation. I'm moving down from Sydney for the job, so will be very new to the Canberra area. During the week, I like to go out for dinner or drinks, but I'm equally satisfied having a quiet night in. I'm a very social person, on the weekends I spend my time catching up with friends and exploring new restaurants and bars. I'm looking for some friendly housemates who will help me settle into my new life in Canberra!
Hello We are 2 people one 28yo female and 21yo male (not a couple) looking for a female to join us in starting a lease in may/June. We both work full time and study and go to the gym. We are social and don't mind sharing a meal but respect privacy. I am looking for a room. I am a middle aged man who dabbles in writing, performing and counselling. I am 'spiritually' minded, for want of a better word. I have been either house-sitting or renting for a few years after the end of a long relationship. The place I was in Mort St Braddon was sold. I have temporary accommodation thanks to a lovely friend. I like to meditate, go out to places like The Front Cafe or Smiths, art openings and other things around town. I have a lot of friends of different ages. I like reading and going into the bush and I can cook well. I cannot drive as I have a genetic eye disorder but my brain seems to compensate a lot; so other than driving I am quite functional. I am pretty clean and tidy. I can pretty much talk about anything and I am quite 'chilled.' Also, I have plenty in my bank account to pay rent with, just not enough to buy; I am also on the visual disability pension Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.
Hello future housemate, I'm a 27 year old Canberra native, returning to my home town after a 9 year absence. I work in consulting and am studying part time. I love to cook, am an avid runner and have been known to enjoy a whisky or two. I have a soft spot for 80s music, political dramas and foreign food. I'm an experienced housemate (8 years in sharehouses) who likes to ensure that common areas are clean and tidy. I also have most things required to set up a house, but am happy to put these into storage if they aren't required. If you're looking for an easy-going, respectful and sociable housemate who occasionally likes to boogie, get in touch! Cheers Dave

I am an American student coming to Canberra for a summer internship. I'm a pretty easy going dude. I am a pretty active person, I play rugby in the states and will probably be looking to hike, hit the gym, explore the country, and check out Aussie netflix in my free time. I'm a fairly social person; equal parts down to grab a drink or just chill, but also respectful of your space when needed. I'm excited to meet some new people and make new friends, let's make this a summer to remember!

The job is based in Canberra but also includes travel overseas and around Australia for short periods of time. I've lived in a share house for the last 4 years and I'm tidy and respectful of communal areas. I enjoy sports, music, movies and most outdoor activities. If you think I would be suitable to live with it would be great if you could get in touch with me.

We are a young couple (not a fancy one) yet have dreams; dreams not too big, but practical; not impatient, but calm; positive & full of aspirations, yet respectful & ethical; do not drink (hence sober), yet social. And on.. and on.. And if we end up teaming together, you can fill the rest... :)

I'm very social but certainly like some quiet time after a long week at work. I love adventures and the outdoors, am very active, but am also perfectly content to sit on the couch and watch a movie. I'm originally from Hobart and have been in Canberra for 3 years. Would love to chat more in person.
