I am a 25 year-old fulltime English teacher at a language school in the city. I am reasonably quiet (it takes me a while to get out of my shell) but can be quite fun and lively once I get to know people. I occasionally like to muck around on the piano (they come with headphones don't worry!) and sing a bit (only when no one is in the house!). I enjoy a drink and every now and then but would probably prefer a cafe date with friends rather than huge nights out every Friday (Don't be surprised if you find me on a Fri night with a good movie or book or engrossed with some good music with my beloved headphones on). I am not a huge cook but will sometimes prepare Asian food. I enjoy a neat & organized environment and am also obsessively on time with payments and rent. I am also quite adept at making groan-worthy dad jokes! Thankyou Chamberlain Zhang
I'm a very independent person, have lived in share accommodation previously and am currently. Though am looking to move. I'm clean and tidy, keep to myself but am also social and outgoing.
I'm looking for a quiet, clean, cosy place to call home. I tend to be out of the house a lot, seeing friends, swimming and playing a lot of social netball. Every now and then I'll head out hiking for the weekend. When I'm home I like to cook, watch bad tv, tend to my plants, read and have chats in the kitchen. I prefer a collective style of living, sharing chores, expenses and some food. I work 9-5 in the city doing comms for an environment organisation, but I'm considering chucking it all in and finally starting that phd. Queer friendly, lefty, lapsed vegetarian (so I eat meat but can also cook all those great Ottolenghi vege dishes) and keen cyclist.
Looking for a place to set up and share with housemate/s & friend long term. Must be ok with having friends over from time to time, sharing the space equitably, paying rent on time, keeping the place clean & liveable. I have a few bits and pieces to contribute to the house and would like you to as well. I'm 35yrs and work full time as a health professional for a charity.
Hey, my name is Peter and I would describe myself as a very career focused person who spends a lot of time on study/work. I am laid back and occasionally unwind by binging on netflix :). Enjoy study and just finished a bachelor of IT in July and starting masters in the beginning of 2017. Flew from QLD to Sydney for a job. Currently staying at an Airbnb property (and breaking the bank lol), so I am seeking a more suitable long term solution to help settle into Sydney and my new job :). Also ride a motorbike so if there is secure parking, a shed or somewhere out of sight to park a motorbike that is definitely a bonus!
Hello Future Housemates! Happy New Year! With the new year comes a new years resolution and for me that is to find a new awesome group of housemates i can call my family. A little about myself, my name is Jess and i am a 23 year old psychology student studying at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). I would like to say im an energetic, bubbly person who is always up for a good chat, a drink or two maybe a party but i also love the quiet peaceful life with time to myself as well. Hobbies include exploring, eating, cooking, reading, surfing the internet just to name a few. I have lived in previous sharehouses so i know what the share house life is like, i am generally very quiet, neat as a pin unless its my own room where i may leave the odd item of clothing on the floor, and will definately not mind doing split chores.I am also the mother to the most awesome little fluff ball. Holly is my 7 year old pomeranian and she is honestly the friendliest dog you will ever meet! she loves nothing more then pets and cuddles and i hope she steals your heart like shes stolen mine! I am also the mother to three adorable little bunnies, Thumper, Marbles and Miso, they love nothing more then a good carrot or mostly they keep to themselves anyway. I know this might sound a lot but the rabbits are more then happy in a play pen confined to my room so you would never know that they are there. Holly free roams generally indoors so having housemates that are animal lovers that won't mind a dog roaming around indoors is a must! I know this is probably almost impossible to find anywhere but i believe in miracles and hope there is a place out there for me! If you know of anywhere suitable please don't hesistate to contact me! I hope to meet you soon my future housemate family! Jess
I'm looking for a share house with a mix of males and females. I have just returned from a 9 month trip around the world. I will be working and looking to study in the near future. I'm easygoing, like to party when it's called for but also love to spend nights in watching a movie. I have one cat who is very well behaved and quiet.
I'm a friendly public school maths teacher looking for a sweet share house to call home. I'm usually out all day during the week and some nights of the week hanging out with mates. I get up pretty early, 6am ish and out the door by 7. I do like sharing vibes in a share house but Im a flexible person. The share house I came from shared the occasional meal during the week to lighten the workload. My background is Italian so my main cooking trick is pasta. My best dish would be broccolini and potato orecchiette with fennel sausage, add chilli flakes. I play in a band so would also like to occasionally practice my lower brass instrument in my room. I work near a costco and am a member so have been known to do the occasional costco shop for the house. I have a permanent job so I look good on an application I guess.
I am a non smoking vegetarian, looking for a clean quiet place. My interests are wholistic health, theatre, art, camping, travel. I am super respectful of other people's space, looking for the same in return.
Basically I'm respectful and hence expect to be respected in return. I have an active social life that involves going out with friends, going to the gym, doing yoga and am involved in three local volunteering organisations, being on the board of two of them. Hence, I am not a home body but when I am, I like to feel that I can be at home with having friends over for dinner and drinks occasionally and feel comfortable in doing so. I always pay my bills way before they are due, as well as keep a clean and tidy space, especially common areas. I expect my flatmate(s) to do the same, and for me, an important aspect of sharing a place is to keep the lines of communication open.
Me • 26, employed full time and then some • I has a vroom vroom – so some sort of parking is needed • Clean and generally tidy • Chilled out • Reliable and respectable - honestly sometimes forgetful ! • Has a dog named Kobey that I would love to move back up to Sydney (&& who is the smallest, cutest & quietest little thing you ever saw) Things I like • Gardening (mostly succulents) • Music • Playing the ukulele (I’m still learning) • Crafternoons • Painting • Yoga + tea • Animals !! • Astrology • Eating • watching documentaries • Alone time, personal space • Being in the sun / outside / bike riding Things I don’t like • Negative / judgemental people • Being woken up • Un-hygienic things Looking for • Easy going, open minded, chilled person / people to help make a house a home. You'll give me lots of space but also wanna like hang out with me and watch movies and talk about wonders of the world and bake together and be all homey • Somewhere with a small garden / somewhere my dog can play - my dogs gets along very well with other animals, mostly cats! • Friendly housemates to hang out with occasionally & enjoy a drink together I am looking for somewhere in Marrickville or St Peters. Move in date is flexible. Rent is between $200 – $250 (hopefully including bills)
Easy-Going, always pays rent on time, likes a good television binge watch or going to the movies, like the occasional drink but my party days are few and far between these days
I'm a responsible(clean), respectful and social outgoing person who has lived in different shared flats around the world. I'm not looking for a room where I just sleep in, but a nice home with new won friends. I moved here from Berlin to hide from the cold winter over there and I am totally in love with Sydney already. It'd be great to stay with people who also like to fix dinner together combined with a good wine. But I'm also not as depending as I sound right now and will leave everyone their space. I finished my degree in management back in Germany and I'm now here working full time as a bartender in Surry Hills. When I'm off work I like to discover the beauty of the city/country and on the weekends I also like to go out for a drink or a little stroll on the beach. But people can write whatever they feel like so it would be nice if I could meet you in person so you can make your own impression and hopefully it will work out great. :)
I'm studying at the University of Sydney. I'm friendly, honest, neat and quite. I'm looking for a shared room near the university. Love to have a chance to make more friends. Thanks for reading.
Hi, I'm Nicola. creative and fairly social, happy to have a glass of wine and a chat, yet i definitely like my own downtime, and am happy in my own company. Not a big tv watcher so there'll never be a tussle over the remote! (although if you've a good movie up your sleeve, happy to keep you company!) I pretty much like all types of music except country and western but don't make a habit of turning the volume up, preferring to read a good book or do a spot of painting/sewing/other creative stuff. I'm a clean up after myself as i go, in the kitchen and tend to keep my stuff out of common areas (unless you like books, then i'm happy to add to the bookcase!). Easy going and like a good laugh. Ideally a room with either a mostly north west or west aspect is what i'm after, for the light - it's all about the light! Even a mostly north with bit of east will make me happy, as long as there's loads of light for my artistic pursuits. High ceilings would be great but not a "must have", prefer an unfurnished room but i can also work with furnished. If you like to have the odd impromptu party - not crazy kinda party, more the dinner party kinda thing, or mates over, that's fine by me - i may join in, invite a friend or two of my own along, or leave you all to it, either way, i have no problem with that sort of stuff if that's what you like to do. I don't have a pet, but if you have one that'd be awesome! Dog/cast cuddles are the best!
Hey, I'm Mel. I'm an artist and graphic designer, working for a small printing company in Leichhardt. I'm from Tassie originally but have lived in Sydney for 2 years now. I just finished a Masters in Publishing and will be keeping my eye out for more work. I'm very relaxed, friendly and I enjoy both my privacy and socialising. Happy to make a meal for friends and share a drink in the evenings, but also binge watching/reading/playing my favourite shows/books/games, so I'm looking for a place with a nice balance. I also love music and I'd love to go to more gigs and events. I have a car and my full licence, and I'm happy to take people on grocery runs and adventures to nice beaches and bushwalks if you're keen on the outdoors.
My name is Alina. I'm 27 years old and working full-time as a Graphic Designer. I'm an active, very clean person and have a happy personality. My holidays are usually spent on sight-seeing adventures with friends and I'm big on dancing! I like to cook and have a huge sweet tooth but breakfast is definitely my favourite meal of the day. After work I like to relax and am partial to a glass of wine with roommates. I'm looking for a friendly and sociable home where we respect each other's space so get in touch if it sounds like I could fit into your home!
Hi, my name is Manu, I'm 28, a high school art/English teacher. I DJ and produce music and I love to dance and enjoy myself. At home I love to cook, exercise, rest well and eat healthy. As a housemate I like to share and socialize, but appreciate and respect individual space. I would love to find a creative household with people I can bounce ideas off, listen to music and appreciate good films with.
I am currently a full time student at UNSW Art and Design studying interactive media art, video and sound installation. I am a friendly and sociable person who is able to pick up my fair share of maintaining and keeping the house clean. I very much enjoy chilling with friends over a nice glass of wine and you can often find me at many gallery openings around Sydney.

Looking for a good place for a couple. We will be requiring daily use of the kitchen with facilities and access to bathroom as well. Hi, I'm 24 soon to be 25 and currently working as a paramedic. I work odd hours 4 days on 5 off, but I'm pretty good with my sleep and not easily disturbed. I'm easy going, I like being sociable but I enjoy my own space at times too. I'm passionate about health and fitness and love keeping active. I like to get out of Sydney a bit on my 5 days off whether that's to the snow in winter or up the coast in summer. I appreciate good food and love spending a bit of time in the kitchen myself, there's nothing better than enjoying food you've cooked with good company. Look forward to hearing from you.
I'm Emma - I'm an acting student, well versed in sharehouse living, super easy to get along with and love a good bevvy on the weekends. I come with good quality banter and a car that I'm happy to use to give you lifts.
I'm a 26 year old full-time graphic designer. I have a beauiful Kelpie X named Erik; he's house-trained, obedience trained, gets plenty of exercise and stays outdoors when I'm at work. My hobbies/interests include (but not exclusive to) reading, sci-fi, mountain biking, art, cheesy horror films, roller derby and the big outdoors. Looking for a relaxed, friendly household, I've been living in sharehouses for the past 8 years, so very good at cleaning up after myself! Would love to hear from you.
I’m Angela, 26, FT architecture student at UTS and work PT in sales. I’ve lived in share houses for about 8 years and am happy to share a few after work/uni yet respect and appreciate quiet time when needed. I enjoy cooking, lounging and cocktails. I don’t smoke.
I'm currently living in the Sutherland Shire and am looking to move out with my partner. I work as a brand and events manager doing weekly events in the city. I grew up with a passion for creative outlets including music, arts and design. I used to be a graphic designer before I moved into the branding and events side of life.
I'm a media professional working nights who'd make a great fit with people working weekdays 9-5 (i.e. when I am asleep). You'll generally not see too much of me apart from coming and going, however it's my hours that are anti-social not me. I don't come with much furniture so no problems if the place is already kitted out. No allergies or phobias so I am totally fine with all pets, furred, scaled, with or without backbone, four, six, eight or non-legged. I cannot promise I won't start talking to them like babies though :p
I'm a university student and I've just gotten back from student exchange in Indonesia. I was born and raised in Sydney. I'm pretty quiet and I like my alone time, but I'm also friendly and I really like cooking. I would prefer my own room but I don't mind sharing a room with another calm person.

A super easy going but clean and considerate English couple looking for a room in a shared house. Both really into music and movies, and love to meet new like-minded people from all over the world, and if you like to have a drink that's even better!
I have lived in Sydney for 28 years. I am a "physically small", easy-going, kind and considerate person. I weight approx. 55Kg and my height is 164cm. I would almost consider myself as a "Metrosexual Male". I am a non-alcoholic, I don't drink or smoke but I don't mind having flatmates who do. I am a vegetarian except for fish (I am happy to live with non-vegetarian flatmates). I live a "less sociable" lifestyle and it is very unlikely that I will intefere with other people's private/social life. However I would love to have some friends to have a chat with, and go out shopping at the supermarkets every so often. I am very respectful of other's privacy and belongings. At the moment my weekly budget for rent is $250-$300/wk. Please note that during busy periods, I may not logon to the flatmates website for more than a week. If you are interested, we can arrange to meet for a quick face to face introduction. Cheers.

Feel free to contact me.
Hi, my name is Ollie! I am looking to start a new sharehouse in Marrickville, Dulwich Hill, Lewisham, Petersham or Stanmore. I have all furniture and the like, so there is no need to buy anything else for the place. I'm pretty water off a ducks back and would rather have a home than a dictatorship. I cook well, and am partial to some kitchen karaoke sessions from time to time. Happy to meet up first to just say G'day over a beer or wine and spin some yarn. Cheers!

As any aspiring actor/singer/dancer does - I sing and play music but am extremely respectful to my housemates. I am a morning person and sometimes have to be up quite early for auditions etc but I will always let you know and try my hardest to be extremely quiet and I like having fun and although I'm not exceptional at it - cooking! I'm independant and like my own space however love sharing a good laugh/story over a glass of wine or a beer!
