I am a pretty quiet person most of the time. I'm pretty sociable when I get to know people. I like going to the gym and going on adventures so on days off il probably get you onboard as well. I'm a breeze to live with and like things clean and tidy. Due to my dragon property manager I've been given a few weeks to move from a (not much time at all) sweet place so please pick me !! You will not regret it
Hi I am looking for privet-room/ "clean" granny-flat/ studio or unit to stay in Sydney on a long-term.( I can pay $200 max for my privet room including all bills + unlimited internet ) I'm living in Sydney for about 5 years and have been living over in Melbourne and I am working full time job here. I'm a clean, non-smoker, tidy and easy going guy and respectful of any house traditions you might have, and am keen to help out and get involved as much as is needed. I need to move to my new place between now to first of April so if something is available from then that would be ideal, but could find somewhere else for a few days if the place wasn't available immediately. I'm looking for somewhere to stay for around a month but would give or take a couple of weeks with that if it works better for you. Any questions feel free to ask, cheers! George
I am easy going, tidy and don't smoke. I like a great movie every now and then to unwind as I spend most of my time either working or growing my business. If needed I am very handy around the house as I've been involved in the building industry for many years.
I'm a friendly, quiet and easy going 24 year old male. I'm respectful of peoples privacy but also good for a chat and a few drinks. I spend most of my down time watching tv, reading, playing video games, and go out on weekends every now and then. I work full time.
I am moving from India to Australia. I keep to myself and mind my own business, so like to live in a quite place that reciprocates my way of living. I have worked in IT for more than 15 years. Plan to find an employment in similar field in Australia; but also inclined to change my career. Have plans to take up uber driving, until I find a steady job. I am looking for a studio or a one bed apartment. It should be self-contained, in the sense; have a private bathroom and kitchen. Washer / dryer for the cloths is also required.
We are a married couple in our mid 20's, both permanent residents and we have been in Australia for 2 years. My partner is studying at the University of Sydney plus working, while I am working part-time. We love to travel and we previously lived in Malaysia and USA although we are originally for Bangladesh. We don't drink/smoke, we respect privacy and are keen to find someone similar. Thanks for taking the time to read this. :)
I'm 25, I currently manage a cafe in marrickville, and I'm a qualified chef. I'm very laid back, friendly, social, neat and tidy and respectful. Looking for a home rather than a house. I'm easy to get along with, and I can whip up a meal. I'm looking to move closer to work and cut out the commute and hopefully make a mate or two in my new surroundings. In my spare time, like watching sport, 90's hip hop, having the occasional beer, and I can definitely get around a good coffee.
I currently live in the inner west area with my nearly 7 year old daughter. I am a single mum. I love the unit I live in but liking the idea now of moving into a share situation. I have recently completed my social work degree and have commenced starting my own little business online. My daughter and I get out and about a little. We have a nice group of friends within the area that we keep active with. We love our festival loving bunch of friends which helps us be amongst nature at the best of times otherwise seeeing a live gig, having a glass of wine or eating out with friends is my general thing. The person I ideally would like to share with would have to be someone that enjoys the company of children. I definitely don't need to talk my daughter up but she is a pretty awesome kid so I am certain it will work really well as long as you are open to the arrangement.
Hi, I'm Hannah! I'm 26 and work in the wonderful world of advertising. I'm a friendly, relaxed and tidy housemate with a good sense of humour. When I'm not working, I like to explore restaurants and bars with friends, try out new recipes at home, or get lost in a good book. Looking for housemates who are keen to catch up over a drink every now and then, but also respect the need for privacy. Look forward to meeting you! :)
Hi there, My name is Santiago, I'm a 35 years old Colombian looking forward to finding a decent, restful and clean room to share (if that's the case), currently I'm working full time and also studying so I won't be at home until late at night....I don't smoke, I like energetic, easygoing people able to respect and keep a kind and nice environment indoors.
Hi my name is Danielle, Im from Brazil
I am a full time teacher who works in the Shire. Love meeting new people, chillaxing on the weekends and exploring new places. I have been told that I am a good at baking things and love to cook for people. I am neat, tidy, clean and organised given the nature of my job. I am respectful and quiet but know how to have fun as well!
I am an accountant (No, I am not boring!) in my early/mid twenties looking for a private room in the above areas (preferably within 5 mins walk from train station). I spend my free time hiking, baking (and of course sharing my baked goods), going to the gym (I really try to) and travelling. I am clean, considerate, friendly, peace loving and health conscious. I am looking for housemates that have similar qualities and values, along with a fun sense of humour.
Always happy to chat but also like having chilled out times reading, listening to music and whatnot. Work in the arts sector so enjoy all things creative, plus beach, tasty foods and wines, walking in the park, chatting with cats and dogs, all that jazz :) Looking for a share house for a couple of months while wrapping up work in Sydney before joining my partner in the UK, currently living in Newtown.
Looking to meet new people, and experience Sydney for what I is. I am a graduate teacher, organised and love to socialise. I currently live in Byron Bay. I enjoy nights in eating good food and watching movies I am looking for someone who would like to join me in chilling out around the house.
Hi I’m Rhiannon, I’m a 27yr old professional currently working full time in jewellery buying. What makes me a great housemate, besides the fact that I can make a mean chicken fajita & I own a guacamole making device? I am tidy & I take pride in a clean home. I am friendly, easy to get along, considerate & don’t slam doors. I enjoy a good chat, a laugh and healthy dose of sarcasm. I have previously lived in Dulwich Hill, Leichhardt & most recently Russell Lea; I have really enjoyed living these areas and am happy to stay around here but at the same time am also open to a location change as I enjoy the North too. I have all my own bedroom furniture so an unfurnished room is highly preferable as well as bit and pieces to add to the household if wanted Any questions, just let me know :) My move date can be quite flexible so please ignore the above date
I really have no idea what to write here so I'll keep it short. ... I work full time and have for the past 20 years,. Moving house is one thing I hate doing so I'm looking for something long term.
Reliable, tidy and relaxed. I've been renting now for a few years and have stayed friends with roommates I've lived with previously. I'm neat and clean up after myself and always pay bills on time. I like socialising with housemates while giving them their space when needed. I like writing, wine and miss having pets!
My name is Riley, 23, male. I enjoy surfing, reading, dining out, netflix, sports and cold froths. I've recently started a graduate job in Sydney and I'm looking for a warm home to stay in. I'm very neat and have fairly high cleanliness standards. Can poach an egg.

I am a student and work part-time as a Builders Labourer. I am also a Dance Teacher. Hi! I am considerate, clean, respectful and honest - looking for the same! I'm social and like to have a chat, but I also like my down time. During the week, I go out sometimes (going to gigs or hanging out with friends), but mostly it's pretty low key - going to the gym and then hanging out at home. I like to be out and about on the weekends.

I'm tidy and friendly, I enjoy some quiet time but won't object to sharing a beer or a wine together every so often. Send a message this way if anyone has a room available!

I enjoy taking care of my health. I'm great with kids and pets. I have lived in share houses since I was 19 and am always considerate of others and their routines. I hope to hear from you.

This is Luca. I am a 38yo guy who is very down to earth and reliable. I like to have a chat but I understand people need their own space as well. I am full time employed looking for a room in the Inner West. Feel free to drop me a line if you think I could potentially be a good fit. Cheers :)
Currently studying youth working at Ultimo TAFE and working as a retail assistant. I am a chilled person that enjoys watching Netflixs and socialising on the weekends. Will keep to myself at sometimes but I do enjoy having a good chat with people :)
Hello, future house mate! Looking for a home, not just a room to rent. I enjoy cooking, football, Campos coffee, and travelling to name a few. I'm interested in living with a like minded individual who takes pride in their home. I'm considering moving from the East to the Inner west and flexible with the move in date. No night owls please as I work full time and value my beauty sleep :) I own bedroom furniture, washing machine (front loader), tv and entertainment unit. I may consider selling them if your home is furnished. Built in wardrobe is preferable.
Hi! My name is Charli, female, full time employed, ex hairdresser now working in an office. Work in CBD, currently residing in Wattle Grove. Looking to move into a new already furnished home exclusively FROM the 1st June 2017 need a bigger room, closer to work. CBD or Inner West is preferable. I've came home from a 3 year stint in the UK in March 2015 and I'm looking to do more travel. Ultimately looking for a long term double bed room furnished or unfurnished with lots of light! I'd love to hear from anyone that's like minded. I'm big on Sunday brunches and try to go on a coastal walk every so often. I don't smoke but I love my wines. I don't have a car and don't want one, so will need to be extremely close to a train station or bus stop. Budget is max $300 (bills inc) per week. I'm easy to live with, clean, considerate and am not much of a partier or socialite when I'm back here - saving all my money for travels! I don't party much, I work alot, but im very friendly. I consider myself clean and considerate. Let me know if I suit your household dynamic! Charli
Hi everyone! I'm looking for a place somewhere in the inner west/central Sydney. I'm looking for somewhere to move around May or June and I would be interested in teaming up or moving to an available room. I finished my social work degree about 2 years ago and I've been working in the homelessness sector since then. I've shared places before, but I'm currently living alone in my own apartment. I'm now looking to return to study to complete a Bachelor's degree in Criminology which means my income is going to skydive, so I'm keen to share again! I'll still be working as well though, so don't worry - I can pay rent hahaha. I'm pretty relaxed about things and don't mind loud music or friends coming over. Im happy to move to a party house, quiet house, creative house... whatever, im adaptable, as long as I can get my privacy too. I can become a bit of a hermit, but definitely enjoy a board games night or a few drinks. I'm vegan - I don't care what you eat at all, get the BBQ out! But if you want to share any meals... I only eat da veggies. I really like The Office (and other shows), I have a bicycle, I love cooking and I really like learning.
I am searching for a room close to the University of Sydney. Ideally, if it's within 20 min of walking distance or not more than half an hour with public transportation. I prefer single rooms, but shared rooms are okay, too, if the flatmates are chilled out. I'm friendly, very tidy, like to meet new people and go out. I will spend most daytime working at the university, thus I am very easy to live with, since I basically just need the flat as a place to sleep (and eventually eat). Most of the times I'm a relatively quiet person, but when I beome a little chatty, you just can tell me. I really like to cook and try out new things. Since I am a vegetarian (don't worry, I won't try to convince anyone), I am pretty eager to try out new ways to cook my all time classics (I've been pretty good in preparing meat before I quit). Thus I'd really like to cook together or for a group. I especially like asian and mediterranian cuisine (or what I make out of).
I'm a easy going professional female who works in the city in a 9-5 job. I'm pretty quiet during the week and on the weekends I like to catch up with friends. I happy to eat the occasional meal together and chat over a vino or two but I'm aware of giving people their space.
I'm a mature male who is work focused, stable, clean and tidy. I'm a trainer and a coach, who gets along with a wide variety of people. I respect the people around me for who they are and what they stand for. I'm married and my wife and son are living overseas.
Hi everybody! I am a masters student working part time. I study philosophy and am interested in everything. I'm fairly quiet but enjoy good conversation. I'm an avid gym-goer with certificates in personal training, I like bushwalking, board games and cooking. I love learning new things and meeting new people!
Hello potential flatmates, My name is Lucy. I'm a very keen traveller but when I'm back in Sydney I study Speech Pathology at USYD. I lived overseas in Italy for years and am looking to find a house with sociable, fun, respectful and tidy people. I'm very easy going, I love sport, eating and drinking, good music and great company.
I'm a friendly Kiwi who plays guitar full time for the government (no joke!). I'm currently living in a one bedroom place in Marrickville and am looking to move back into the right share house. Dinner conversations are becoming a bit repetitive on my own.... I'm tidy, housetrained, love a glass of wine/beer with good conversation and enjoy cooking. When I'm not working I like going to the beach, gigs and discovering new pockets around Sydney to go bushwalking or general exploring.
Hi, My name is Lucas Forbes. Nice to meet you. I am a freelance tv producer, and about to start a new full time job as a Travel Sales Consultant. I'm 40 years old, but don't look or act a day over 35 :) I am not a partier, but am loads of fun. I love a good laugh and tend to get along with every one. I am quiet, clean and considerate. I am looking for a private room, not a share room. I would be looking at moving in about 1 week and would love to hear from you. Please feel free to email me. Kind Regards, Lucas
Kia Ora. I’m Justine, I’m a Kiwi, 36, gainfully employed doing the 9-5 as a Legal PA. I love a good laugh, a nice glass, a good book and a funny show. My friends think I am crazy but I have had myself tested and I passed? Jokes! No in all seriousness. I am currently living on my own in a studio and we all know how expensive that can be. And a little lonely at times. So for the sake of trying to save in this expensive city I think it’s time to get to know some new folks and start sharing a home again. Happy to look at all options from taking your spare room or finding some new potential roomies and looking for a place together. I do have two beautiful cats. Fully house trained and domesticated like me. They also do love a cuddle! Totally my responsibility! Now for my bad points. I do smoke (but never inside). What else? Hmmmm… apart from that I am awesome! You know ya wanna call right? Thank you
Hi! My name's Ash and I'm a 26 year old Aussie girl currently residing in Brisbane, Queensland but moving to Sydney to study a Bachelor of Entertainment Management at the Australian Institute of Music in Surry Hills. I will also be looking for part time work once I've relocated. Preferably looking for somewhere close to a train line as I don't have a car and will be commuting to and from university/work on the daily. I'm a big creative geek/multitasker and prior to my studies have worked as a photographer, makeup artist and web designer. I love to travel and go on adventures either locally or overseas, lived in Europe for 2 years and also 6 month stints in America and Japan. I can't function without coffee and am a big foodie, love exploring cities via their cafes and restaurants but also enjoy cooking at home, especially for my house/guests (always more fun than just cooking for myself!). I'm super friendly, very chilled and am guaranteed to laugh at all your jokes (and my own). I enjoy socializing but I'm not a party girl, I'd prefer to be playing video games (I come with a PS4) or watching Netflix with a bottle of wine then out in a club on a Saturday night. The only person I would have staying regularly sometimes would be my partner but he is staying up in Brisbane so it wouldn't be very often. I do enjoy personal space, so would be looking for my own room rather than shared. I'm very clean and considerate - the home is a sanctuary where you come to unwind not to be stressed by mess. I also find cleaning quite cathartic, throw on some sweet tunes and get into it. Currently I am looking for a place for about 6 months but if I feel really at home I will definitely stay longer. I also adore animals and will love any furry friends you have! Feel free to message any time on here or my socials :)
Here's pretty much what you need to know about me: I work and go to school often, so the only time you'll probably see me is when I'm using the microwave at three in the morning. (Jokes. I'm actually pretty quiet.) I like to play music and have really gotten into Simpsonswave recently. I'm going to hog the washing machine and do laundry often. Gotta smell fresh. Plus, I make a mean meatloaf. Also, I suppose I should mention that I'm from Canada's Mexico. Contact me for more info??
Hi :) I'm 26 and looking for a room in innerwest, a new place to call home. I'm currently living in Dulwich Hill in a house with 3 other lovely girls but am now looking for a slightly bigger room. A bit about me, I love to cook, work full-time in Marketing and partime on weekends in hospitality so am not home too often but live to get outdoors when I'm free. Any other questions, please feel free to ask. Michelle
My name is Sarah, I am 26 years old professional working full time in CBD. Am currently looking for a granny flats or an in-suite, preferably furnished, to move in/around 20 April. Ideally I am looking for a unit that has a safe place to park my car, too. I am very tidy, responsible and friendly and am looking for a lovely house where I am not just a room filler but a friend. Will respect everybody's space, while also being social at times! Looking forward to hearing from you :)
Hi there , Im looking for a place , where I can call my home, I don't want only accomodation , I want a place where I can relax and chill out. Preferably max 4 people in the house , I don't mind sharing as long as people are clean and respectful. Im a sociable and outgoing person , clean and love sharing my free time with my flatmates. Please let me know if you have something that will suit my research ? Lots of thanks
Hi, I'm Nicola. Currently studying - Diploma of Costume at Ultimo TAFE, i'm creative and fairly social, happy to have a glass of wine or a G&T and a chat, yet i definitely like my own downtime, and am happy in my own company. Not a big tv watcher so there'll never be a tussle over the remote! (although if you've a good movie up your sleeve, happy to keep you company!) I pretty much like all types of music except country and western but don't make a habit of turning the volume up, preferring to read a good book or do a spot of painting/sewing/other creative stuff. I'm a clean up after myself as i go in the kitchen and tend to keep my stuff out of common areas (unless you like books, then i'm happy to add to the bookcase!). Easy going, open minded and like a good laugh. Ideally a room with either a mostly north west or west aspect is what i'm after, for the light - it's all about the light! Even a mostly north with bit of east will make me happy, as long as there's loads of light for my artistic pursuits. High ceilings would be great but not a "must have", prefer an unfurnished room but i can also work with furnished. If you like to have the odd impromptu party - not crazy kinda party (although i DO love a good costume party!), more the dinner party kinda thing, or mates over, that's fine by me - i may join in, invite a friend or two of my own along, or leave you all to it, either way, i have no problem with that sort of stuff if that's what you like to do. I don't have a pet, but if you have one that'd be awesome! Dog/Cat cuddles are the best!
I'm easy going and have a good sense of humour. I don't let the little things bug me - life's too short to worry about petty stuff. I'm a writer so I will move into phases where I immerse myself in my work and pop out the other end, a tad dazed and confused but desperate for sunshine and a decent coffee. Moving into film, which is equally scary and exciting. I am really social and love meeting new people but I'm also an introvert and need my downtime to recharge. Happy to live with a female or male. I don't have pets but am more than happy to have animals around. Feel free to make contact if you think your place is a good fit, even if it's not in the suburbs listed as it may just be the beautiful gem I'm hoping to find.
Location flexible: looking for a private room in a quality environment in most parts of Sydney. I'm a single, mature-minded, quiet, and respectful full-time IT professional and occasional music nerd with an intellectual/artistic bent. I like to work from home if that's acceptable to all in the household. Parking required.
Hey I'm Lana Looking for somewhere nice and lovely to live! I work part time and love to read, have a good feed and chill with my housies! I am super tidy and quiet so don't you worry about a thing! As a housemate I am clean considerate and easy to get along with!
I’m Kate, 26 yo from Bathurst, have just left my home of over two years in redfern. I'm a musician so I come complete with a host of instruments. (I recently acquired a xylophone, so, that's useful to have around, right?) I will be around the house a fair bit, I'm usually listening to a podcast and doing something creative. I love gardening, having a laugh, chats and hanging out with housemates, and all things creative - crochet, sewing drawing, painting. I have many art/craft supplies in tow. I’m a non drinker, non smoker, non partier, I'm looking for somewhere that isn't a party house, but housemates that have the occasional drink about the place or friends round is fine by me. Need my alone time but would love to be able to spend time with housemates too. I’m looking for housemates that are comfortable with communicating. It’s really important to me that my home environment is relaxed so I'd rather talk face to face than have things brewing. I tidy up after myself and like to keep things clean. I would ideally like housemates who are willing to do their share of cleaning too. I'm a fan of the cleaning roster. I'm hoping I can find some folks with similar interests to me.
I've recently moved back to Australia after a stint working overseas, I'm now working full time and looking for a place to share in Sydney. I haven't lived in Sydney for about six years, so i'm keen to join a reasonably social household and meet some new people.
