Hello! I'm a 20 year old male moving to Sydney from the country to start University in March to study Film and TV Production. I have a passion for music, movies & TV, and gaming. I am a non-smoker and I do not drink alcohol. I will be working in Sydney as a barista whilst studying. I don't party so the times I will be at home I will most likely be doing my own thing, but I do enjoy socialising in small groups and would like to have a good friendship with my housemates. I am easy going and keen to find some like-minded individuals to share a house with!
Heya! :) We're an easy-going couple who are clean and pull their weight around the house. I'm Aussie and Kevin is Irish. We are both easy to get along with, love to have a chat and hang out with roommates but also like time to ourselves. In my free time I like heading to the beach, adventuring around the local nature walks, going to the gym and watching a bit of Netflix. Kevin is into sports and enjoys an active life style, enjoys the beach and trying to rid himself of that Irish tan! Hoping to move into a share house as we both like the friendly and social atmosphere of a share house. We've both lived in share houses before and understand how it works. We're also keen to set up our own share house so shoot a message if you're interested :) I'm working in HR and Kevin in the sports health sector. Currently staying in Glebe looking to move into a place in the next few weeks (pretty flexible with the date). If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me! :)
Hi, my name is Kevin and I am 21 years old. I'm a fourth year UNSW student studying Media (PR & Advertising). I work part time at a swimming pool as an administration officer and as a swimming instructor. I enjoy playing music, reading and socialising. I have my own car and I am clean and friendly. I was originally from Campsie, and I'm now looking for something closer to the city and my university. English is my first language; I am also semi-fluent in Mandarin. I am great with children and pets if you have those.
Hi everybody, I am 48 year old single professional man. I am well-educated , very clean and neat ,respectful of myself and others. I am not into parties and crowds, don’t drink nor do I smoke ; but am sociable and enjoy the company of nice people and having fun at times. If I am home , will be either studying/ reading or just laying back. Seeking a large decent room in a clean tidy house/ apartment, and above all, nice company of a mature female or male .
We are graduate students and close friends, nice to meet you!. We are looking for a home better close to the rail station. Have an car garage.
Hi, I'm from Thailand with working holiday visa. I'm easy going and tidy person, working full time job in Sydenham station. I'm looking for a nice place which not far from the train station to live and I will be able to move in around early of February.
I'm David, a 31 year old currently working full-time at a not-for-profit in the CBD. I’m pretty positive and outgoing by nature, though not to the extent of being an insufferable d-bag that doesn't appreciate the need for occasional quiet time. At home I’m fairly laid back, though still careful to keep what needs to be tidy in good order. Am also generally interested in the world and in other people, have travelled a fair bit, and otherwise have a shamefully predictable collection of Inner-West type interests, revolving mainly around food/wine/taking inspired photographs of turmeric lattes (mercifully, that last one is a lie).
I'm from Mexico and this year I will start studying here in Sydney, I can cook mexican food to share! I'm an industrial designer and a carpenter and I can build stuff for the house :) I like to have order in my room and I like clean spaces.
I have a beautiful natured playful yet cuddly 2 year old chocolate Labrador named Bear. He loves meeting new people and loves even more to play with other dogs... Now about me :) I am friendly, easy going, clean and tidy late twenty year old... Don't mind a good chat or to keep to myself. Enjoy good food and eating well/healthy weeknights (weekends are a different story as I am out exploring new eateries), bars, beaches, visiting friends & family and doing the Bay Walk. Preferably wanting a female roommate if we sounds like a good match let me know ;)
I'm very clean and funny and kind person to live with. I like my own space but also am social and friendly! I'm a filmmaker and work part time in surry hills and part time freelancing.
Hi, I'm Stevanus, an Australian Awards awardee from Indonesia. I'll start my master on UTS in February 2018. currently, I'm looking for accommodation. I'm a tidy person, a non-smoker but still tolerable with a smoker (but I might walk away if I feel uneasy with the smoke), I would enjoy a good chat over a drink or dinner or whatever every now and then about movies, music, foods, sports, and world issues.
Hi nice to meet you! I am a sales professional with a very steady income. I work 9-5 and will do the occasional travel for work. I love food and am extremely clean and organised, and like to cook as well. I am an extremely considerate person and am looking for someone of a similar nature. I'm kind of past the age of partying hence, I enjoy a quiet night in and spend my weekends catching up on sleep, going out to brunch, shopping and reading a good book. I am ideally looking for an apartment near to a light rail station as I work in Pyrmont with secure car space/secure street parking and my own bathroom.
Hi! I'm Bree, 26, registered nurse currently living in the snowy mountains! Originally from Adelaide. I'm moving down to Sydney to continue study and become a midwife! I will be working full time at Liverpool hospital while studying - pretty busy year but I'm new to Sydney so very keen to socialise and meet new people! Experienced living in share houses, I'm tidy and try to be a good cook! I'm an outdoorsy kind of girl, love camping, hiking, skiing (water and snow) and kayaking.
Very easy going. Reliable. Full time worker. Private but love to socialize. Team player when it comes to living with others. Not a party person but don't mind aif quiet drink on the weekends.
I have lived in share houses for the past five years. I am pretty chill and down to earth and can keep to myself or be outgoing and socialise when required. I do prefer the latter as I am looking for a place to call home. I am an engineering graduate from the ANU and am moving to Sydney from Canberra for a new job in the city. I will usually be at work during the day but at night I don't mind unwinding with a glass of JD whilst watching some TV. During my free time I am usually trying to learn something new, or travelling and if I am not doing any of those then you will find me in the kitchen.
I’m looking for a place fairly close to Sydney CBD with a private room and my own bathroom. A bit about me: I work in Darling Harbour and have been living in Sydney for the past 6 months (I'm from the US on a 457 and can show proof of a long-term job contract). I've been living in shared housing for the last 10 years so I'm pretty set in wanting a place that is kept clean and relaxing. Always happy to do some weekend activities together, but comfortable doing my own thing as well - usually reading, watching Netflix, or trying a new restaurant. I’m fine with having guests over semi-regularly, but I’m not interested in living with a couple.
Hi my names Patrick and i'm a first year apprentice chef. I've lived on the Central Coast all my life and just accepted a job offer at a restaurant in Chippendale. I'm fairly poilite and courteous of shared living spaces. I like to keep neat and tidy Cooperative, Friendly, Respectful, Trustworthy, Easy Going I don't mind making a large batch of meatballs or spaghetti for everyone to share. I don't have any allergies or dietaries. I don't have any lounge sharing furniture, only my own queen bed, desk and chest if draws.
Hi I’m looking for a single room at early March I’m working and I’m student as well so I’m not at home most of the time I would like to find a place with people under my age. I’m easy going I like enjoying my free weekends outside with friends
We are both passionate young queer students involved in a lot of lefty activism in sydney! We enjoy gardening and cooking, going to rallies, as well as having a couple of beers and laughs of an evening. We both have good vibes and love to have fun, so don’t expect this to be a party free house, but we keep to ourselves pretty well and try to keep ourselves in sync to what our other housemates want, so you won’t see us unless you want to (which hopefully you will!). Mostly looking for a third person to rent a three bedder with, so if you are queer friendly and party friendly, hit us up 💞
23, Capricorn (s don't believe in star signs), finished studying Psychology but now pursuing my passion for film (at Sydney Film School) and working as a captioner for live TV broadcasts.
I'm a full time fourth year Secondary Education and Arts student at USYD. I'm a country kid originally (from rural NSW). I am neat and am good at keeping my stuff confined to a small area and am respectful of other peoples belongings. Although I am generally quiet I love to have a good chat with people about almost anything. I love books, movies, Netflix and doggos (although sadly I don't own a dog at the moment). I love staying at home and binge watching David Attenborough as much as a trivia night at the local pub (I have an encyclopaedic knowledge of harry potter and also know a lot of useless movie and tv show trivia). I cook pretty good poached eggs if that floats your boat, an alright risotto and average ANZAC bikkies. I'm not a big party person but enjoy unwinding over a couple of ciders on the weekend :)
I'm 22 years old and about to finish my undergraduate Marine Biology degree at UTS. Really easy to get along with and a super tidy person due to being raised by a clean freak parent. I play basketball in my spare time and also enjoy video games. Love to relax and have a beer with friends but am also quite happy to just keep to myself and chill out (Netflix) at home after uni/work/sport.
Hey, I'm a 26 yr old postgrad researcher at Sydney Uni, my research looks at how the Great Barrier Reef has responded to past climatic changes. I also do some teaching at Sydney Uni. I've lived in a bunch of share houses so I know the in's and outs of communal living, I am clean, respectful of others and enjoy hanging out with my housemates. I have lots of indoor plants and I'm keen on gardening/veggie patches! I'm looking for a nice home with good people that is long term + 6 months but a year is better :)) . In terms of rent - I am working and on a scholarship so I have reliable income! :-)
Hi Guys and Girls. I'm moving back to Syndey after doing my regional work in WA and a bit of travelling around Asia. I have 3 months left on my working holiday visa and want to enjoy every second of it in this incredible city! Looking for a room 5th March to 26th March. I will be working in the city and plan to make the most of the weekends I have left, so would be great to have some fun housemates that may like to tag along. Budget is 250 per week (although may be flexible) as I'm saving for my next adventure/s. Single room is fine but wouldn't consider sharing a room, however nice you may be :) When I'm home I like to relax and eat good food, watch a bit of Netflix and am certainly partial to a good glass of red or two. If you have a room that you think may be suitable for me or any questions please get in touch. Take care Becca x
Adam and I have been good mates for the past 5 years, and we’d love to set up a place with a third person who’d not only be our housemate, but a good friend of ours as well. We're both quite outdoorsy blokes. We’re both rock climbers, and we’re also into camping, hiking, etc. We’re also really into good food, hanging with mates, traveling, and sports. Adam is Aussie, and he works as a primary school teacher. Eric’s German, works part time, and is about to start a degree in nursing. Both of us have lived in shared accommodation before, so we’re aware of the value of creating a warm, welcoming home we’re we can all socialize, but also know the value of having our own space. We’re both very clean, organised, and like having a tidy place. The both of us are also happy to share the cost with you for someone to clean the place or just the bathroom(s). We’re also keen to share a meal together, and catch up over a wine or a beer after work or on the weekend. You would only need to bring furniture for yourself, because Adam and I already have most things like a washing machine, couch and fridge plus kitchen appliances, but that's obviously negotiable;-) We are looking forward to hear from you Adam and Eric :-)
I go rock climbing a lot and I'm really easy-going. Clean and quiet but always up for a pint or two at the end of the day
I often try to keep my life as simple as possible. I am a non-alcoholic, non-smoker and don't have any pets. I am a vegetarian except for fish (but I don't mind living with meat eaters, smokers, wine lovers, or even party animals). I would consider myself being flexible, tolerant and resourceful. Gender, nationality and culture is of no relevance to me whatsoever. What I look for in a share house is nice easy going people whom I can live with (hopefully long-term) without dramas. I have a good rental history that can be proved. At present, my weekly budget for rent is $180-$250/wk. However, I would not want to go above $230/wk. Let's face it, Australia is facing pretty harsh economic conditions at the moment (but that's only my opinion). I am flexible with the move in date and this can be extended if necessary. Please feel free to message me if you want more information. I am more than happy to meet up for a quick face to face introduction. If you decide to send me a message via the website, please have patience (since it is not always convenient for me to respond to messages instantly, especially during business hours.) Thank you for your understanding. Cheers.
