I am doing my PhD research on marsupial brain evolution at UQ (for the next 3+ years), so I need a place to stay. I play the guitar occasionally, have a road bicycle but will prolly be spending most of the time in the Uni. I'm an easy-going guy with plenty of international experience (have been living in the USA, Hungary, Bulgaria, UK and for the last 10 years in the Netherlands), love having a dinner with the housemates every now and then, like board games, philosophical talks, craft-beer and nature.
Hello, I’m 34 year old professional civil engineer working for a consultancy in the valley. I’m scottish but have lived here for almost 6 years and see myself in brisbane for a while after a break up. I have shared with people most of my life, i know what its like to be respectful and clean when living with other people. I am really out-going and generally reliable person who comes with a lovely 1 year old beagle called Jackson who’s house trained and friendly, Like his dad.
I work as a Professional Tattoo Artist full-time Tues-Sat. Im friendly and clean and don't mind a conversation but like to keep to myself and spend most of the time in my room working for upcoming appointments. I'm a light smoker and hardly ever go out drinking. I'm not much of a cook so don't spend a lot of time in the kitchen.
20 year old female from a small beach town who's always up for an adventure. I will be a full time accounting student looking for other young people or students to live with. Always down for a boogie on the weekend and will never say no to a drink or two. Looking for some fun people to help make Brisbane home.
A bit about me, I’m a 25 year old male who recently arrived back home in Brisbane after living abroad in Canada for the past year and a half. I am currently seeking full time work in Brisbane in the Accounting/Finance sector. I lead a fairly active lifestyle and am a very tidy and respectful roommate. I am looking for a relatively modern space that is close to public transport and in walking distance of the local shopping centre. I plan on heading overseas to the UK in May of 2018 so I’m ideally only looking to rent the space until then. Cheers, Lachlan
Hey! I'm a 23y/o working full time in finance in the city. I'm a keen vegetarian and love exercising, socialising and going to the beach in my downtime. I'm a pretty chill person to live with, I love my own space but also enjoy hanging out with roommates.
29 y.o. Italian guy looking for at least 4 weeks accommodation or maybe more. I am friendly, I like to cook, singing, travel, and making friends. Thanks for your help
Hi! I'm Sophie, I’ll be 22 early next year and I’m just finishing up a psychology degree and graduating this December. Next year I’ll be doing post grad psych study and/or working. I like eating pizza, binge-watching TV shows and I like to think I’m quite friendly and easy going- always up for a chat and to hang out but also like my own space! I'm looking to move sometime between December and end of January :)
I'm currently a full time PhD student at QUT and looking for preferably a small place to stay beginning of February. At this stage for around 9 months but with the potential to stay longer. I can keep to myself but also like some company to watch The Bachelor with! I'm not looking for a party house, just some place relaxing to come home to. I'm at uni full time so will only be home really at nights and in and out on weekends. I am clean and tidy and respectful of others' privacy. I also love to cook. Also need to be close to public transport and would prefer my own bathroom. Please shoot me a message if you have any other questions!
I’m a Canadian/Australian female, tidy, responsible, quiet lifestyle, friendly/sociable yet also respectful of others’ living space. Young-at-heart, I've lived in lots of sharehouses in multiple countries and value easy-going, open communication. I'm a long-term Brisbane resident, worked professionally in the public and corporate sectors in QLD and overseas - currently on break from my part-time Master of Environment studies. My interests include yoga, swimming, cooking healthy meals, easy cycling/hiking, art house films, sustainability and community volunteering. Seeking a non-smoking, pet-free, kid-free household to share with 1 or 2 adults (couples OK). Unfortunately although I love dogs and cats, I'm allergic to both. Prefer a relatively quiet household but I'm up for friendly chats, sharing an occasional meal/cuppa with housemates. While I enjoy watching an hour or 2 of TV (e.g. news, docco, The Chase or The Simpsons), I don't watch it most of the time. I don’t drink alcohol but am fine with my flatmates having the occasional drink. I'm non-vegetarian and heterosexual - happy to live with vegetarians and/or LGBT people. I have a car so would need either on-street parking or parking spot, if available. I am interested in renting for at least 6 months. Move-in date flexible. References available.
Hi, I'm Clare, 33 and I work full time with the government. I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a clean and spacious house. I have no problems paying bond and going on a lease, and have never paid a bill late. I'm very used to sharehouse living, previously studied and worked shifts so I'm respectful of other people's timetables and downtime. I also like to have a tidy house so it would be a welcome change to live with people who do their share of the housework. I usually do my own thing and am looking for flatmates who are more or less similar, but also up for a chat and a glass of wine at times. When i'm not at work I'm at the gym, reading, or catching up with friends. Unfortunately the owners of my current place want to renovate and sell so i have to move on, but I can leave anytime up until 12th December. Having friends over is great, but I'm definitely not looking for a loud house or anyone who uses drugs, and I would like to stay pretty close to the city. Pet, LGBTI, student and shift worker friendly :)
My name is Caitlin and I’m a 23 year old physiotherapist working in the city. I’m looking for 1-2 new housemates to start up a new apartment/house in late December/early January. No pets please. Also open to moving into an existing house but I do have quite a bit of furniture that I’d like to keep (fridge, couches, TV, TV unit, coffee table etc). I’m fairly active, and also enjoy cooking/baking. I’m very tidy, and coming home to a clean relaxing space is important to me. I’m friendly and enjoy a chat at the end of the day, but also don’t mind my own space (and am respectful of other’s). I also like to hang out with my friends (sometimes at home) and don’t mind a drink or two on the weekend! Feel free to message me for a chat if you’re interested, can’t wait to hear from you!
Hi, I'm interested in going into a new house with someone(s)/a couple. I'm an ICT professional who works in the city so would like a place close to a train line or a decent bus way. I am tidy, considerate and sociable. I also have a beautiful medium sized border collie x kelpie dog named Molly who is extremely well behaved but means that I require a decent backyard and places near by where we will exercise. I have already started applying for places and am looking for someone who would be interested in applying with me. I am looking for someone who is willing to pay a similar amount to myself (But if 2 people were involved then this would obviously bring everyone's rent down). i have only listed a couple of locations but ultimately anywhere within 30 mins of the city on public transport (door to door) works just fine.
I'm very bubbly and outgoing , love meeting new people. Currently working full time in Paddington. I'm a really clean person I can't relax if I know I have chores that can be done haha unless I'm hungover or sick which is a rare occasion. I like to go out for a drink or two now and again, I definitely know how to have a good night but also like to be Nana sometimes. I'm very much in to my fitness ect , like to go exploring and hunt down bush tracks or mountains to walk up , adventuring is my favourite. Most importantly I want to move in with like minded people, not only people I can call flat mates but also people who I can become great friends with. Thanks 👍
Hey guys, originally from France I have been living in Brisbane for over 8 years now. I just sold my unit and have 30 days to find great flatmates to live with :) A bit about me: I work full time as a professional in the city. I am educated, clean, trustworthy and respectful of others' privacy. Whilst I enjoy socialising, I am generally quiet during the week as I focus on work, working-out and living a healthy positive life. I am into the beach and outdoors, travelling, meeting new people, formula 1 and reading. I am looking to move in with some like minded people who look after their home and are clean and respectful. Lastly a couple of important things, I would like a room with its own aircon and own bathroom and I need access to a locked garage please. I look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Julien PS: I love dogs if that matters :)
Easy going dude, who likes to go out and socialise. I work full time Monday- Friday. Have a girlfriend who I spend a lot of time with. I am tidy and respectful of people’s space. I enjoy friendly banter and a good laugh, happy to help attempt cook. I have a smallish dog who is very cute and protective of her home. Just looking for a house mate or a couple of house mates who are relaxed and keen to have a laugh. Text me if you want to chat about finding a house or have a house you think I’d fit into
