I'm a new full-time student from Dubai starting at UQ in Semester 1, 2017. I will be studying Environmental Management. I was studying in the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign before. I'm the one wearing the purple/pink sweater in the picture. If you can't pronounce my name, don't worry, almost no one can at first, just call me Abhi! I'm super tidy and clean (won't mind if it's not), and pretty good at cooking too. Easy going, and always ready to help a friend. I am respectful towards everyone and will give you your privacy. I like my down time to focus and study. Doesn't mean I don't like to chill out or have fun. Always down to watch a movie or a tv show. I love going out and playing sports. I play football (Soccer), badminton and Quidditch (no, i'm not kidding, it's a pretty physical sport!), and good at picking up other ones too. Love spontaneous adventures and ready to walk/hike any-and-everywhere. I would love to live with any of you amazing people out there, so if you have a room to offer or are looking to team up, hit me up! :D Cheers, Abhi
I'm easy to get along with, clean, tidy, respectful and I'm only in Brisbane 4 nights a week so you'll have one less flat mate on weekends. I like surfing, going to the gym, live music, travel. I'm employed in Rocklea as a 3D Designer and have been there for over 3 years.
I'm about half way through my Pharmacy degree at QUT and working in a chemist. I'll be part time at uni next semester and picking up more shifts at work. I am a lifelong vegetarian, and I am very clean, considerate and friendly. I also have two gorgeous little cats who I'm sure can't wait to give their new room mates lots of cuddles :)
Moving from the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane and looking for a clean, modern and private bedroom (preferably around Indooroopilly area!) I'm extremely clean, easy-going, respectful, considerate and a kind-hearted person. I will be working full-time until June/July when I begin my tertiary education studying to become a nurse. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging with my friends, shopping, going to nice restaurants and relaxing.
- cheerful, chatty, easy to get along with - have good cleaning habit - on time with bill payment - fairly good cook, love baking, and open to sharing groceries - enjoys own personal space, plus respectful of other's personal space - enjoys a good drink or a night out from time to time - full time masters student in UQ; will spend majority of the day at uni, will graduate end of 2018
Hi, I'm looking to move tosuburbs on and around Auchenflower, Toowong and Indro. I'd prefer a house with a backyard for a veggie patch. I have a small 40L fish tank which can just chill in a corner in my room. I also work casually in retail and am deferred uni currently until the end of 2017, I'm doing a bachelor of audio. Anyways thanks for reading
Hey! myself and my current housemate Cait are in need of 1 or 2 people to join us in a share house by the end of Jan. We are looking for like minded easy going individuals who respect common areas, that are clean and do not steal our avocados and vodka, sorry we have been burned before. So who you will be living with? You got me Helena a recent Communication Design Graduate, currently working in Hospitality who is battling her way through Witcher 3 and you got Cait a who is completing an Arts degree and could beat anyone at GOT trivia. We also like netflix binges and sushi runs! If you think we sound like the type of people you could live with, send a message a bit about yourself and we'll go from there.
I work full time with long hours and on weekends generally am out playing cricket. I'm easy going and am happy to pitch in with bits round the house
I am a young business professional Canadian who is looking for a quite place to rest my head. I am currently saving up to travel the rest of Australia come April and plan to venture from all sides of this beautiful land of Down Under. Consider me as an unforgettable and kind guest to open me up in your home. I am very OCD in cleanliness and go out to the bars maybe two times a month to really help me save cash to explore.
Im 2nd year UQ student taking Bachelor of Business management currently looking a modern place to stay where I can relax, socialise and also focus on study as well. Im from Japan and like to cook Japanese food, taking pictures and dance a bit. I will be fairly tidy and friendly heheh
I am an easy going, laid back and am told that I am easy to live with. I like to spend my spare time at the beach or bush walking when I am not working, and a great fan of going out for lunches or dinners with friends. I am sociable and friendly and would like to share with someone who doesn't mind chewing the fat over a glass of wine at home occasionally. I love animals, so would not mind if animals were at the property. I work at UQ in a professional capacity and really enjoy my job. I'm a happy positive person and like to surround myself with like minded people. My ideal would be to find a place with a pool, a space with off road parking and a fairly big room with built ins and own bathroom. I don't have very much furniture, however I do have a desk that I like to work from when home, so would like to have space for that.
Work full time as an analyst, not a drinker/partier. Like my gardening, golf and video games. Originally from Sydney been in Brisbane 3 years now. Easy to get along with and pretty chill. Looking for someone like minded for a team up or house share otherwise. Like having a clean house so looking for someone who isn't too messy also! Will be looking to move around the end of February when my current lease expires. Animal friendly.
Hi I'm Ben, 32 years old and returning to study at uni this year, so looking for a room with access to public transport up to $200 per week including bills and will be looking to move around the 21st of Jan however this can be flexible. I am a mature, easy going, quiet but friendly and sociable guy who is a non-smoker and not a big drinker (although will never say no to a quiet beer or two) and just looking for somewhere reasonably quiet and relaxed to chill out and study, with clean and tidy, easy going and friendly housemates. I am an independent stable long term tenant (my last two share houses were two and five year stays) and always pay my rent on time and am respectful of everyone and more than willing to do my share to look after the place. I love to cook, love to travel, love the beach and looking to get into an active lifestyle again now I'll have more free time. If you have any questions or think I'd suit your place don't hesitate to get in touch.
Hi there. I'm Riko. 27 years old girl. I'm working in hospitality field. I like chatting with housemates when each of us have time , but still can respect their private time. I love traveling and hiking. I like clean place. I can keep your room very clean and tidy.
Hi there! I'm going into my third year of study at UQ and looking for a change in scenery after spending the last two years living on campus at college. I come from rural Queensland and have spent seven years in boarding school (plus the two years at college) so am very used to sharing space with people and consider myself well house trained. I enjoy a fun night out (or in), very easy going and social personality, looking for housemates that can have some fun but also appreciate some downtime.
Hi! My name is Loïc and I am a 21 y/o recent graduate of UQ (international relations and political science). I am french but have been living in Australia since 2001, and am very friendly and open-minded. I am clean, respectful and can cook respectably! I love to dance and keep quite busy with my involvement in the uni dance club, but am always happy to socialise. I also like to kick back and play some video games, which often serves as my downtime. My income stems from part-time work, although I am seeking full-time employment this year. Would love to hear from you :)
Hello ! My name is Megan I'm 23, and i will be moving to Brisbane from Melbourne in February to start my masters of social work at UQ. Looking to move into a house with a group of people who are welcoming ( as I know no one) love to have a chat and a few drinks together and occasionally go out on the weekend but will respect each other privacy for study. I'm pretty easy going, just love to be around people. If you are really quiet/ would prefer to keep to yourself most of the time in the house we may not be a great match Will always clean up after myself If I sound like a good fit for your house please contact me :)
Hi there, I am a 22 year old female (turning 23). I have completed all my studies and now working full time in teaching (primary). I am respectful, clean and easy going. Love the occasional wine and socialise but also like my downtime as well. I live what I like to think an active and healthy lifestyle. I am looking for like minded people. Ideally, I'm looking at places that are more on the modern/newer side and my own bathroom. My current lease is due to run out on March 16th but may find someone to fill my current room earlier. If you think I'll be interested in your listing or would like to team up, please feel free to contact me. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you. Annie
Hi, I have just moved over to Australia from New Zealand. I am a teacher who works full time. I don't mind living with pets (except for cats as I am allergic). I don't smoke and am clean, tidy and easy to live with.
Hey everyone! I'm a Canadian student from Montreal who recently got accepted at UQ in their Masters of Audiology Studies program and am currently looking for a place or roommates with an intent to find a shared accommodation. Other people would describe me as outgoing, clean and friendly. I love pets as well, I have cockapoo dog who will not be coming with me :(. I'm looking for a place that is quiet and clean, relatively close to the UQ St-Lucia campus and roommates where I could have an occasional chat, and hang out. For fun, I like to hike, workout or check out new restaurants, cafes or the latest hot spots that the city has to offer! Cheers, Arshdeep
I am working on a semi government science institute in the Netherlands and have a sabbatical leave from 20 June to 27 Sept. I will going to work for the University of Queensland. But me shifts will be not regular (it is weekend-shifts included but no night shifts) However I am really dedicated to my job (it is also my hobby) I can be a little bit shy in the beginning, but am a social person. I don't make a mess and like to clean stuff as soon as I used it. I am also very relaxed, adaptive and likes it t have things clear. (not to the point if making fun. But to the point if it is about rules) I always want to support and help people around me (but not forced)
Hey guys! We're Annie and Alex. We are both UQ uni students (IT/Econ) with steady part time jobs. We both have extensive student sharehouse experience (we met in a St Lucia sharehouse and lived with 4 other people for over two years). We found that we got along quite well, so when we finished our lease, we decided to start up our own sharehouse! About us: We both love chatting and meeting new people - but we also understand the need for space. We're fairly tidy, responsible, and always ready for socialising. We're both semi casual gamers, so we have a bunch of consoles/games if that's your thing. Otherwise, we're always up for some card/board games and beers. We're social drinkers and non smokers, but smokers are welcome. Alex plays piano and I am currently in love with westworld. We're looking to start a tight knit, sociable student sharehouse. At the moment we have our eye on a beautiful large queenslander in Indro that is 125 pw for each person and comes with private air con in each room. It has a spa and pool which is maintained with some of our rent money (did anyone say bbq/pool party/house party/movie night!?), and huuuuge common areas. Did we mention the rent covers some bills too? Seriously, this place is amazing. The backyard even has a sundial. (Message us for more deets!) The only reason we haven't snapped this up yet is because we want to make sure we have three other roommates willing to share this gem with us before we start signing leases. (Of course, we are also not averse to moving elsewhere if we really click.) You should message us if: You're an easy going, sociable, LGBT friendly individual aged 20-30 who is either studying with part time work, or a full time professional who doesnt mind the occasional party/housemate bonding. It would help if you are a gamer (especially league/csgo/overwatch)/cat lover/pizza connoisseur, and are willing to strike up friendships with your housemates as well! But generally, we get along with everyone. One of our last housemates vomited in a Sombrero during one of our house parties and we loved him anyway.
I am really easygoing, happy to do my own thing but also friendly. I have been working overseas as a live-in nanny for two years so I'm used to being tidy and respectful of someone else's home. I love to travel, meet new people, watch musicals and go running. I will be commencing study at UQ in 2017, and would like to move to Brisbane by early February. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, I'm looking forward to meeting my new housemates :)
Hello potential housemates! I'm a full-time biomedical science student at the University of Queensland. I'm looking for shared accommodation with friendly people who would love to have a chat and a few drinks in the afternoon but also know how to restock a toilet paper roll holder and that dishes DO need to be rinsed before they're washed. I also hold myself to these standards as a housemate so know that I'm clean and respectful, and quiet when needed. I hope to hear from you!
Not sure what to say here haha, but I guess I'll start with, I am a student working on becoming a Physiotherapist. I would consider myself to be a cheerful, honest and loyal person that is very easy to get along with. Have moved to Brisbane from a country town called Dalby nearly 3 years ago where I used to work at my parents motorbike shop for 10yrs. Moved here so I could be closer to workshops and my sponsors while I was racing cars and so I could blaze my own trail, so to speak. After a lot of unfortunate events and bad luck, I decided to give up on the race car dream and work on my other passion, being health and fitness. Hoping to one day be able to incorporate my personal training qualifications within the realm of Physio so that I can do something to help others and not myself, as I believe helping others is one of the primary keys to happiness. Anyway, that ought to be deep enough for now haha. :P So looking for a place that can accommodate a king size bed, a somewhat large study desk and some free weight gym equipment that I'm happy for all to use. My own bathroom would be nice, however, is not a requirement given the right house mate/s & price. The "right housemates" would also be of similar nature to myself, with a friendly and open minded nature. Cheers :)
Been living in Brisbane for around a year now, looking to move to a place around the Paddington area. Full-time uni student at UQ studying a Bachelor of Science and as well work for a marketing company in Milton. I'm easy to get along with, friendly, and will help around the house. I enjoy hanging out with my housemates for a laugh or a cheeky drink or two. Im pretty reliable and respectful housemate, and also trustworthy. If i seem like a great fit to your house give me a message.
Hey! We're a bunch of UQ undergrads and we've recently secured a 4 bedroom house in taringa for next year (and now we're just looking for a 4th housemate!). The house is a 5min walk to the train station (but no train noise), really close to indro shops and a 10 min bus ride to uni. We're not party animals as we're getting close to finishing our degrees (dentistry/engineering/IR), but we're always up for some sneaky drinks and we do like cool dog group, cooking, gymming and donald trump memes. Hit us up if you're interested - our lease starts early feb :)
Hey Guys, I'm Luke and I'm looking for a couple of people to move in with, whether a team up or in an existing place! I'm currently doing a masters at UQ and work part time during the week, i like to spend my weekend relaxing at home, exploring or heading to the coast for a beach day. Im respectful, neat and tidy and I enjoy meeting new people. I'm a non-smoker and am more than happy to evenly split bills and contribute to keeping the place nice and tidy. I'm sociable and would get along with people that would enjoy hanging out or an occasional drink with but also respects each others space when needed.
I am a recent UQ graduate from Macau and am about to start my Master degree in February. I consider myself quiet but am friendly and easy to get along with. I enjoy occasional hang outs but I do respect others' personal space, and would like to keep things clean and tidy.
20 Full time student Studying counselling Very friendly nature Clean & tidy Respectful Single Loves company of others but also likes my alone time Easy going, and fair If you're interested in having me I'd love to hear from you! :)
Hey, I'm Lianna. I work permanent part time in retail and am heading back to Uni this year at UQ. I don't drive or have a bike so I need a place that's close to public transport. Preferably something that goes directly to UQ. I generally keep to myself though if I'm in a household where housemates regularly hang out together, I will usually join in. I'm usually neat and tidy and am looking for the same in housemates. I'm queer so i definitely need to live in a place that's LGBT friendly. I like scifi and video games and comic books and all that good stuff. Though whatever you're into, that's cool too.
Hey I am a 24 year old female currently going to study mental health and working part time a couple days doing admin and work at nights on the weekends. I am not a party goer and enjoy geeking out on my spare time, so I mostly stay in my room but of course come out for a friendly chat. I'm currently living in my own place and wanting something a little bit nicer and modern. I'm only after a place with my own bathroom/ensuite as I've shared in the past and just prefer my own little space. Any location that is 10mins from the city but preferably not Southside would be perfect! Move in dates are fine as my current realestate is being flexible with me since I'm a good tenant.
Hi! I'm clean and considerate of other people. Ideally looking for something modern on the doorstop of the train station/shopping centre. - Graduate from UQ, work in the CBD - Occasionally required to work late hours and travel - Enjoy sports (playing and watching), musicals - Lived in all male, all female and mixed share houses before (Please note the locations specified before messaging me, cheers)
*Neat Freak *Good Cook (Happy to take turns cooking) *Happy go lucky *Helpful *Extremely Punctual I'm never an angry person, I always like to see the light side of situations. I like showing my respect to elders and if people were to bring their parents around I'm more than happy to cook for them. All I want is just a respectable household with common sense and fairness. I'd prefer to live with 1-2 people at most. Thank you for reading my page. Daniel
I am from Armidale NSW, starting my first year of Architecture at UQ. I have switched over from a Bachelor of Arts last year, during which I lived at Emmanuel College. I am tidy and like things to be clean. I like to have quiet time to study but also love to have some fun on weekends, don't know how to put this in a way that doesn't sound stupid!
Hi, I'm Safaa, studying at UQ master's degree.l'm friendly and quiet , I have a positive mind and I respect personal space. I'm busy with my studies but I want to share people. I want to live with girls.

Don't smoke, occasional drink. Love sports/fitness
Uni student who's easy to get a long with, clean, open-minded, respects boundaries, committed to work and studies but likes to have a good time and socialise.
Hi guys! I am a second year UQ psychology student looking for some fun housemates to hopefully become great friends with and share a comfortable environment. I am a friendly and fairly easy going person who enjoys netflix, memes, eating and napping. I would therefore say I am pretty easy to live with, I am always up for a chat or a cheeky alcoholic beverage however at the same time I will always respect your space and give you privacy when you need it. I am looking to move some time in January however I can be flexible with dates as long as I am moved in before the 20th of February. The only request I have for a place is that its close to public transport as I don't have a car. So if I sound like someone you would be interested in living with or you just want to ask me some questions feel free to contact me anytime! :)
Hi! I'm moving to Brisbane in Feburary next year, and I'm looking for a place to live for the next year or so. I'll be starting a Graduate Diploma of Secondary Education at University of Queensland after completing a bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science in 2015. I enjoy music festivals, exploring the outdoors and a love of cooking.. I don't mind a night out but much prefer a casual drink and dinner these days, but I also enjoy chilling at home, watching TV and chatting over a glass of wine and exercising. Have a love for travelling and backpacking the world! I've lived on residence in Geelong, Victoria for two years, and lived in shared houses over the pass two years. I'm hoping to find some people I will get along with as id love to make friends and go explore Queensland with someone. I'm shy at first, but I open up once I get to know people. If you think we'd get along or have any questions send me a message! :)
Hey there, I'm Emily, 20 years old and a student. I study at QUT and am a second year Secondary Education student majoring in History. I work part time at an Outside School Hours Care in Moggill and at Suncorp Stadium as Bar Staff. I'm friendly and quiet but still happy to be social with my new roomies. I've lived in share houses for four years and have shared with lots of different people, all ages, genders and nationalities. I'm an animal lover so pets are no issue for me, I'd say they're encouraged :) I'm looking for a place with easy access to public transport (specifically train stations or the 444 bus) and an unfurnished room is a must as I have a queen sized bed, desk and other miscellaneous bits of furniture. I've joined a gym and attempt to go often but it usually ends in completing my Gilmore Girls binge on Netflix, my favourite pastime. I'm way too excited for Game of Thrones to return this year and roommates who watch it with me are encouraged to message me. Bonus points if you love Harry Potter. I can be a little flexible with the move date and am happy to overlap for a week or two if the right place comes along, If you want to know anything else just shoot me a message, I'm more than happy to answer any of your questions :) P.s. I'm currently working a lot so messaging on Flatmates would be the best way to contact me :)
Hey Guys, I'm Jessie and I'm looking for a couple of people to move in with, whether a team up or in an existing place! I work full time during the week, and like to spend my weekend relaxing at home, exploring or heading to the coast for a beach day ☀️ Im respectful, neat and tidy and I enjoy meeting new people. I'm a non-smoker and am more than happy to evenly split bills and contribute to keeping the place nice and tidy 😊 I'm very sociable and still relatively new to Brisbane so I'm looking for housemates that I can be friends with as well. Anyone that would enjoy hanging out or an occasional drink with but also respects each others space when needed. I'd ideally like to stay for 6 months or more. I have my own bedroom furniture, so looking for an already furnished house or to team up with someone who is happy to help organise new furniture! I'd love to check out your ad, so send me a message if you have anything that sounds suitable!
Hello! My name's Rachel, I'm from Toowoomba, and I just finished my arts degree at UQ (French, writing, and linguistics). This year I'm working to save money so I can head back to France or Italy to work as an au pair. I like reading, nature, movies, the odd drink, walks esp. bushwalks, and tennis. Looking for a relaxed, respectful, happy house. I love a good hang-out but I need plenty of alone-time too. I'm clean and considerate, I bring it at Cluedo and Snap, and I know my grandma's recipe for self-saucing chocolate pudding off by heart. If we sound like a good fit, I'd love to hear from you :)
Hey! I'm an easy-going, tidy, full-time travel consultant that can cook up a mean katsu curry. I play piano and guitar, adore all animals, and I always put my cups in the dishwasher. Seeking a social household, with room mates who are neat, relaxed, and who might enjoy a kebab after a night out every once in a while. Preferably looking for vegetarian/vegan roomies, but that's not a deal-breaker.
I'm a French / Kiwi chick moving to Brisbane at the end of January to start my PhD at UQ. I'll be bringing my chill and friendly dog with me :) I tend to be busy and quiet during the week but more active on the weekend. I'm friendly, open-minded, easy-going and fairly tidy. I love camping, nature and hikes, but I'm also a big fan of going to gigs or trying out new bars. That said I'm not a party animal, more of a chill and chat kind of person. My dog loves people but is very well-trained, he tends to keep to himself when I'm out. I can provide references for him too. I'm happy with either short or long-term.
Hey! I'm making a reappearance in Brisbane to finish my final year of my International Studies degree at UQ. I spent the past year abroad, studying in Mexico and travelling through Central and South America - so i've got plenty of stories to share over a glass of wine or two. I've lived in a range of different share houses with friends, strangers and couples and over the many years i've evolved to be clean and tidy. I like having my own space but also to be part of a household that talks to each other and hangs out together. I like to cook, and without a doubt i'll cook for my housemates on more than one occasion and i love to get out of the city on weekends for beach and hiking trips, there will be space in my car for my funky housemates. My interests (other than travel and cooking) include photography, working out/muay thai, latin music, dancing to latin music- soulsa nights at cloud land anyone?, painting, surfing, scuba diving and hiking. I will be working in either disability support or refugee support jobs this year if things go to plan. Cant wait to get to know you!
