Hey guys, my name is Eva and I'm 22 years old. I am from Munich, Germany and I will be studying at UQ for a semester. I can't wait to be living and studying in Brisbane, but I have never been there. I love going out and doing sports, so flatmates with similar interests would be nice, so we can do stuff together and explore the city :D . If you know anything or are interested, let me know ! Cheers !
Hey my name is Taylor. I'm moving to Brisbane next year to start uni. I use to study on the Sunshine Coast but I'm changing my degree hence the reason to move. I'm a non smoker, I'm a neat freak and I'm quiet. I love my sleep so I don't wanna be living with people who are loud as well as I need quiet to study. Other then that I'm fun, don't mind going out - especially if is to get food.
I am a graduate nurse beginning work in South Brisbane in early February! I'm a friendly and easy going person, who enjoys relaxing with friends, having a few drinks and getting out and about exploring. I've lived on campus at UQ for 3 years and in a share house for the past year so know how to be respectful of my housemates and tidy.
I work full time in Real Estate! Although I am young I am very reliable, responsible and mature. I will be studying part time at QUT in 2017. I have a very bubbly personality and I am a lot of fun. I am clean, tidy and respectful of personal space. I'm usually very busy with work however I'm definitely up for breakfast, brunch and drinks on the weekend!
Hi, I'm Nana I'm from Japan n 21 years old. I've been here for 8 months on Working Holiday. I'm friendly tidy n responsibility. I like to play sports, go out, go to the beach n talk with people. I would like to get along with flatmates.
We are two friends who can make anyone feel like they belong. It's very familial but we also respect space. We love people and we have many interests and hobbies. Music is one of our shared interests and we both like meeting new people who can teach us new skills like languages, arts and crafts...etc (We really wanna practice Spanish so if you speak it or are learning it, then great!) We are also proper nerds, we geek out on Rick & Morty and board games. It's not a party house but it's also not the quietest as we love music and we are young and full of energy. Hyperactive and likeminded people are encouraged to come live with us! We are seeking a person who will complete our trio and who shares the idea to have a mentally healthy and a generally positive environment. If you're down, we'll pick u up. If you're up we'll celebrate with you! We'll never bring one another down and no one pisses on anyone's chill. This is a chill zone for anyone who is an extrovert and likes people but is also independent and got it together. A sense of humor! We love a good laugh.... Someone who shares the ideal of tuning a negative into a positive and laughing their sorrows away and not the other way around. If you feel like you fit the description, then you will be a part of our little tribe! And we'll have your back <3 We encourage intellectual discussions and debates and like a little challenge! If you're philosophical and well read, you will fit right in!
Hey! We're a bunch of UQ undergrads who are looking for a 4th person to live with next year, close to uni and public transport. We don't party too much (getting close to finishing our degrees so studying takes up most of our lives) but we're always up for some sneaky drinks and we do like the bachelorette (rip courtney) and cool dog group and gymming and donald trump memes. Between the three of us, we already have plenty of the furniture a house needs (from previous sharehouses), but we'll always welcome any fab decor additions such as nice fake plants or funky rugs, but yes hit us up if you're interested! We would prefer to move after new years, but we're all really flexible and we can always sort something that'll suit everyone :)
A Happy Hippy chick from central NSW looking for an awesome home in Bris-vegas! Im a reliable, outgoing and positive peep who loves to bake on the weekends! (mostly muffins but hey im still baking!) Paying my rent is my number one priority and you will never have to worry about that with me. I work as a tarot reader and will often chat about current astrological alignments when the time is right. Im also quiet and mindful of your personal space but am always there to chat if you need/want too :) Im moving to Brisbane to complete my postgrad in counselling so im quiet alot of the time or not around :P I am here now and happy to move in when needed! Im also tidy and respectful and am always smiling! Did i mention I bake on the weekends??? I live a healthy lifestyle (despite the baking and regular chocolare binges!) and enjoy social shinanigans with the odd glass of champagne. And I am also a member of the LGBTI rainbow ... so you will need to be respectful and open to that. Cant wait to chat! Ps i am ideally looking for a room with an ensuite or my own bathroom ... my weekly budget is also bills inclusive. pps i am also not comfortable with living with couples or a shared room ... . I guess i wouldnt want to be a total third wheel. Sorry ! Ditto with random SMS from people telling me about their room. if im interested i will get in contact. thanks!
I study maths at UQ and I'm a pretty social person - I enjoy going to the beach and going out, and I also love chilling and watching netflix. I also can respect privacy and value time alone as well as keeping my room and house clean. I'm looking for a place with fun people who can be respectful but are also keen to hang out and/or have drinks on the occasion
Hi! My name’s Rebecca and I am looking for a room somewhere in Brisbane’s inner city region or suburbs surrounding Saint Lucia starting in mid to late January (I am flexible with dates). Right now I am completing a Bachelor of Arts- Korean degree at the University of Queensland. I am rather quiet but friendly and most importantly clean. I do have my own furniture, most notably a fridge, small couch and washing machine, so am looking for somewhere that will be okay with this. I have no allergies and am a lover of pets (especially dogs!) although I do not have any of my own. I do not own a car therefore public transport is essential for me. I would really love to live near a railway station as I often work very late nights in Fortitude Valley. I go to university during the week and work late on the weekends therefore will most likely not be home often so if you’re looking for a laidback, considerate and low maintenance roomie who is reliable with rent, please please please consider me! I may be young but I can assure you that I am dependable and mature. Thank you so much for checking me out!
Hi, My name is Caitlyn and I work in the city as a Pharmacy Technician. I'm 22 and am currently working full time while I study online. My current lease is ending and I need a place to live while I work out my next move. Because of this I'm not sure how long I'll be in brisbane but I will have at LEAST a months notice before I leave so I can guaruntee you'll have a lot of notice before I leave. I've been living in shared accommodation for over 4 years and I've never had any bad experiences. I've been really lucky and I've always gotten along with the people i move in with really well. I'm fairly easygoing and I love meeting new peole. I'm happy to provide personal or professional references for you if it would make you feel more comfortable. I love a good wine and chat after a long day but i'm a fairly quiet person. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Hoping to hear from you soon, Caitlyn Nester
Hi! My name is Rosie, I'm 21 and I am moving to Brisbane in January 2017 to start studying the Bachelor of Design at Griffith. I have been working in a high school Art Department in Hobart for the past 2 years, it was awesome fun but I'm looking forward to doing the uni thing! I am great to live with because: I always pay my rent/bills on time, I clean up after myself and I like being around people but am also fine doing my own thing In my free time I love drawing and making little arty things, relaxing in general, watching Netflix and going to the gym... Basically I just really like to be able to chill when I'm at home! I like chatting and hanging out, but I'll also need some space to study and draw :) I also love Harry Potter, cats, dogs and most nerdy things
Hi Guys! My name is Shri; I'm a Master's student pursuing a degree in Neuroscience at UQ. I'm super clean, quiet and studious, but I definitely enjoy a good conversation and kicking it back every now and then. I was looking to move into a place by mid-January, but I want to find the right place to ensure an ideal living situation. I was curious as to whether this unit was still available? Hope to meet you soon! Many thanks, Shri
Hello Everyone, I'm looking place to live. Very tidy, friendly & busy with my routines... First preference is two or three bedroom apartment or unit or a house to live. (Furnished or Unfurnished) Second can have two bedrooms in a same place to share with other housemates. (Furnished) In any of above cases, bills should be included as my maximum budget is not more than $170/week altogether. I do have my car so parking is a plus point for. In my free time, I normally watch Netflix and travel around.. Moving date before 25 December... Please contact with details & keep in mind above requirements before contacting us. Thank you so much.. :)
Hi there! My name is Michael and I am a full time student nearing the completion of my Bachelor. I am looking to join an existing sharehouse around the Kelvin Grove area while I finish off my studies. I like socialising but am respectful of other people's privacy. I love to cook, garden (lots of fresh herbs for cooking!) and wouldn't mind sharing meals. I would like to join a clean, quiet and friendly household where everyone helps to contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of common areas (because no one likes a messy housemate!) I would be looking at an unfurnished room so I can bring along my own furniture. I also have a lot of furniture for common areas such as leather couches, coffee tables, washer+dryer etc but I don't have to bring these along with me. Looking for a LGBT friendly household and preferably pet-friendly as I have a small black cat (but she doesn't have to come with me if pets aren't allowed). Shoot me a message if you think we would get along or if you need any more information :)!
Hey I'm Bree! x I am a circus performer so I am pretty good at moving furniture, and juggling deadlines. I will be studying next year at the St Lucia UQ campus and would prefer to live nearby. I clean up after myself and get along well with most people naturally. I have a puppy at the moment but in another 3-5 months she will be full grown. She is an Irish Setter and is absolutely adorable and well trained but she is a fairly large breed so space will be needed. I live at home with my mum in Petrie so a move further into the city would be a lifesaver. I love reading and will haul my huge collection of books with me anywhere I go. I currently work as a waitress at Shingle Inn and I also work at QBD The Bookshop. I love the city so I'm so excited to move closer! I will be studying a dual degree in 2017 in Sci/Arts so I would prefer a house that is a bit more chill for study but I don't mind going out once in a while. If you do have a yard and are above my price range please message me as I am willing to negotiate for my dog's well being.
Brisbane native and UQ graduate looking to move back to Toowong, St Lucia, or possibly a suburb nearby. I finished my undergrad degree last year (Bachelor of Arts, with history and political science as majors) and am now looking to start a Master of Teaching in 2017. I also work part-time at Coles. I am relaxed, quiet, friendly, and very easy to live with. I always clean up after myself and respect other people's space. While I have moments where I enjoy my solitude, I would ideally like to move into a somewhat social house. In my spare time I generally just watch TV/movies but will occasionally go hiking, play pool or try something new entirely. While my profile says that I'm not looking to move until next year, I would be fairly flexible if the place seems suitable for me, and may be able to start covering rent to secure a room.
Hey I'm Jess, I'm currently working at a florist & studying teacher aide. I love dancing & cats. I'm generally a quiet person but also love to be social. Preferably would like to live with females.
I will be studying in UQ and I am finding a hostel or a shared house to live in. I am from Hong Kong and haven't been to Australia before so I would definitely love to explore the surroundings and hope I could meet some friends that would go with me! I love pets too even though I don't have one, especially corgi :D
I'm looking for a nice single room in a clean, beautiful and shared house where I can meet some great people and call the house my home :) I'm 26-year-old Polish programmer that works full-time in CBD and I'm all into sport after working hours :) I do my dishes on time and require it from others as well :) People say that I'm bubbly, however I find myself introvert - go figure! Hope to meet great people and a nice place! ;) Cheers, Krystian
Hi, I'm Priscilla! I'm currently living in Singapore and I'll be studying food science & nutrition in UQ from feb 2017. I'm an outgoing person and I love hangout with new friends. I'm hoping to find not just a roommate but a new Friend as well.
Hi, I’m Martin or Marty as most people call me. A quick snap shot of me: I am professionally employed in medical travel assistance and recently moved back to Brisbane after living in Sydney for 20 years. I am a quite an active person who is getting back into competitive cycling again with the aim to start club racing again in the New Year. I love the outdoors and keeping fit and healthy – hiking, camping, sand, surf and adrenaline sports..anything outdoors basically. I like to cook and entertain and enjoy the company of my friends and meeting new people. As my friends are spread out down the east coast of Australia, I regularly visit Sydney and Tasmania, plus the yearly overseas trips to explore off the beaten track places. I do have a substantial amount of furniture (2 bedroom house) and this can be put into storage if needed or can be added if required. There is so much more I can write here, but would rather it come out during a conversation when we meet.
Hi my name is Steph, I will be a full time student at UQ, I'm studying a Bachelor of Biotechnology. I was hoping to make a good friend to move in with, some one who i get along well with who is clean, and easy going and most importantly someone to have some fun with. I was hoping to move around Mid January, but I'm flexible on dates. If any one is interested hit me up :) I was looking at a 2 or 3 bedroom home around St lucia.
Hey, My name is Anh, I'm an international student looking to move out of my current place at the end of this year. I have been in Australia for 7 years (5 in Brisbane). I finished my science degree with an Honours last year and I am completing my diploma in teaching at the end of this year. I will start to look for jobs/ do some travelling next year but still want a nice place to stay. I'm an introvert, tidy and quiet but I do enjoy cooking and baking for friends and people around. Food adventures and dining out are absolutely welcome. I am a foodie at heart, considering the fact that I chose Food Technology as a career path. Besides, I like to have things in order and clean my house frequently. I enjoy having a drink and chill out watching TV. I read and play terrible piano too. If you are looking for good Vietnamese food, look no further and contact me :)
Hi! I'm Victoria, and I'm going to be a medical student at the University of Queensland this year. I'm from New York, and I love running, reading, and watching Netflix. I'm more on the quiet side and I'm looking for a place with friendly people, but that is also quiet enough for me to be able to study. I'm very neat and organized, and I always clean up after myself. Please let me know if you have any questions, thanks for your time!
I'm an international student from India and have been living in Adelaide for the past three years. I will be moving to Brisbane in February 2017 for my postgraduate study at UQ. I'm looking for friendly and easy going people to share a house with. I'm fun-loving, interactive and easy to live with.I also enjoy having some quiet me time from time to time.
I'm a software engineer working in the city. I enjoy cycling to work, being social, being active, eating healthy (ish), cooking/eating foreign food. Dabble in a little sketching/painting occasionally. Love boardgames and will clean bathrooms and toilets!
I'm a 23 year old recent UQ graduate. I'm moving from the Gold Coast to Brisbane and hoping to live with people my age who will hopefully become good friends as I don't know too many people in Brisbane. I'm neat, tidy and considerate. I'm not much of a partier but enjoy the odd drink and social event!
I am in my late 20s and have recently graduated. I like to keep it to myself most of the times and also respect others privacy, but that certainly doesn't mean that I am not up for a chat sometimes. A non smoker, not quite a party person and yes, NOT pet friendly either. I like to keep the house clean but not too finicky, so a relaxed person to stay with. I like to cook and happy to share the food(eat it at your own risk though :D). Looking for a place to share with no more than two people.
Hi! I'm Maddy and I'm an RN at the RBWH. So if you hurt yourself, I'm a great roomie 👌🏼 Looking to hopefully move at the end of February/start of march. Would like to stay in close proximity to the hospital and if there are some other Royal/Charlies nurses out there keen to get a place together that would be great! I'm a neat and tidy person who loves to cook and bake (brownies, cookies, you name it) and loves a good cheese platter and wine. (Usually I do it by myself, but with friends is better #singlelife) I know how to be quiet, but also don't mind having a chat and a laugh on the couch in my pj's eating pizza. If you haven't worked it out by now, I really enjoy food. Oh and I don't smoke. My prerequisites for a new place would that I get the garage/undercover car space and potentially my own bathroom if it is more than 2 bedrooms, but I'm not picky, as long as you're neat and tidy! If you're looking to move at this time, chuck me a message!
Hey my name Zac sparrow I'm 24 and a full time plasterer. I'm looking for a room somewhere around Brisbane would prefer a house with a couple guys rather than an apartment but will have a look at anything. I don't mind a bit of banter and a beer on the weekend, I'm pretty easy going will get along with just about anyone. Swing us a message if you want to know anything or you think I'd suit your place
I am a fun loving 33 year old who enjoys travelling, the beach and my family and friends. I am currently working full time as a Travel Agent. I am looking for someone of a similar age to share a new place with. I enjoy relaxing in the evenings however love to get out for a salsa dance once a week for fun and exercise. Hi!! I have just moved back to Brisbane after 2 years of travelling Europe and the UK working at various hostels and bars. I have a full time admin job in Toowong starting the 2nd week in January so hoping to find a flat share to start the end of December or the beginning of January! Needing the room to be fully furnished 🖒. I am very easy going and sociable and always up for a chat or a cheeky beer!
Mid 20s, non smoker, quiet. Working full time but soon to be studying. I like quiet nights in. Cat lover. I will be away for the end of Jan/ beginning of Feb as I'm going overseas! I have a partner who would occasionally stay over.
My name's Claire and I'm fun, chatty, happy person! I am a primary school teacher and as such I am a mature person (who can also get down and party when the time is right!). I'm clean and tidy and like things neat. I'm easygoing and happy to hang out or just chill out together. Females only please :)
Hi, my names Jessie. I'm a really easy going 19 year old girl. I am clean, tidy and respectful, looking for someone alike to live with. I'm moving to Brisbane to study so would love to get a room where I can do my own thing but also hang out from time to time. Would love for the people I move in with to become friends, not just roommates. Send me a message on here if you're interested in finding out more about me/look for a place together.
Hi there! My name is Bri, kinda like the cheese. Full-time working professional and singer-songwriter. I am an outgoing introvert so love meeting new people and having a good laugh but am also happy to have downtime. As a housemate, I am friendly, clean and considerate - I will always do my share and pay bills on time. For fun I enjoy cooking, travel, reading, watching movies, making music and stalking cute dogs at the park. I don't mind a sneaky beverage with dinner, usually wine or tequila. I am respectful to the LGBTQI community. What I am looking for: Ideally somewhere relatively close to the city for the long term. I need to have enough space for music equipment either in my room or another space (eg. garage) where I won't annoy anyone. It would be great to be somewhere that pets are allowed as I have always wanted a dog. In a housemate, I am looking for someone who is like-minded. If you have a dog, I will also love it like my own.
I am a friendly person who can get along with anyone. I'm reasonably neat and tidy, I love all types of animals, and I'm quiet. I bake cakes and sweets when I can, and am happy to share! I generally keep to myself, but am happy to socialize with the house. I am quite artistic in many ways. I love to write, draw, and play/listen to music. I am accepting of all people from all kinds of creeds, cultures, religions etc so long as they are accepting of me. :)
Hey! Firstly, I'm not needing to move until January. I currently work fulltime at Mount Coot-tha and I've been living in Taringa for the past 3 years. I enjoy eating out, going out, having a drink after work, music festivals and going for runs along the river - or just staying in and binge watching netflix. I'd need to move early January, ideally looking to stay around Toowong/Taringa (train line / bus line) - but pretty flexible. I have my own communal appliances and furniture to bring with me if needed. Shoot me a message if you would be interested in starting a new place or if you need a spot filled and we can grab a coffee - Thanks!
Student looking for a quiet place. Good at: paying bills on time, cleaning up after myself, budgeting. Likes: Cats, dogs, exercising, archery, food, games, sleep. Can at maximum pay up to 150 pw rent but would prefer staying under that (wouldn't we all?) Note: Current lease runs out 6/1/17 and I am going to UQ @ St. Lucia.
Howdy. I'm a third-year student studying a BA (writing ext. major) at UQ. I work for the student mag. I'm an avid reader and wordsmith, I publish zines and comics, and I volunteer for community groups as well as organise events. Things to consider: I'm busy. I'm looking for a quiet household where housemates chill at home and go out to party. I need need need housemates who are comfortable chilling out in communal spaces, but understand when housemates want to be alone (in their room). I value a healthy level of tidiness that isn't casual grubbiness or enforced cleanliness (adults shouldn't need chore rosters). I love vegetarian and vegan food, and eat minimal amounts of meat. I do not share food due to negative experiences. Important: - I'M LOOKING FOR HOUSES ONLY. I have furniture: bookcase, cabinet, desk, drawer, couch I sleep on (would like to buy proper bed), side table, 2x coffee tables, 5x odd table chairs. I'll require storage space if there's no room for it in the house. - I AM ALLERGIC TO CATS AND DOGS. For the love of god don't waste our time if you have cats or dogs around.
Well hi there! I am looking for one roommate or a place with one roommate around or close to UQ. I am a busy person whos hardly home due to work and uni but when i am i am friendly and love to binge watch all the tv. I'm an avid gym member and runner, though time limits that, and i love to cook, but my job causes me to hardly be home during dinner. I am a waitress, babysitter and full time uni student looking for someone CLEAN as i have had negative previous roommates. I am not by any means a neat freak, but a hygienic environment is required. If you like mug brownies/cakes you will love my endless supply of flavours.
My English name is Louisa, a postgraduate student studying at University of Queensland. Rina is just transliteration of name. I am a clean and tidy girl, easygoing and good at cooking. interested in draw, reading and cooking. I want to find a brick house where has air-condition not the wood house. Sharing apartment with one or two people is my preferred choice. especially the new and furnitured apartment. and the bedroom's window should not be too small. Hope have my own bathroom. If I really really like the room, I don't mind move in immediately or later some days.
I'm an international full-time student from Dubai starting at UQ in Semester 1, 2017 (Environmental Management). I was studying in the US (Chicago) before. I'm super tidy and clean (like keeping everything super clean but won't mind if it's not), and pretty decent at cooking too. Easy going, and always ready to help a friend. I am always respectful towards everyone and will give you your privacy. Doesn't mean I don't like to chill out and have fun. I love going out and playing sports. I play football (Soccer), badminton and Quidditch (no, i'm not kidding, it's a pretty physical sport!), and good at picking up other ones too. Love spontaneous adventures and ready to walk/hike any and everywhere. I'll be new to the city and the country, so I would like to explore a lot during the weekends provided I have the time. Always down to watch a movie or tv show. Join me for small adventures if you want! :D I don't mind living with anyone, so if you have a room to offer or are looking to team up, Hit me up! :) (That was two too many "up's") PS - The closer it is to the university the better it would be.
I'm a 22 years old Belgian student currently working on a thesis in organic chemistry.I will be studying at UQ from February till June/July. I like to go out and meet new people. I play hockey and I like to go running. I'm looking for a room in a shared house preferably, not a shared room.
Hey I'm Ella, I'm currently 18 years old, studying full time (IT) and working part-time/casual (Boost Juice) I'm super friendly but overall pretty quiet. I'm up for anything and love helping others. I am very tidy and respectful. I love animals, health, computers and having fun! I currently live with my 2 aunties and only just moved to Brisbane in July.
My name is Grant. I am a 48year old. I am a fairly quiet & reserved type of person. I am friendly & respectful of others but I do tend to keep to myself. I am neat and tidy, and I do clean up after myself. I work full time in South Brisbane. I don't drink, I don't smoke and I don't party or do drugs of any kind. I am fairly fit because I do a lot of walking and skating (roller & skateboard). I try and get to the skating rink at least twice a week.......more if I am able :) BTW I am gay if that matters at all. I am looking for a studio, granny flat or one bedroom flat preferably within 10kms of the city with easy access to public transport (train & bus). I don't have any furniture so a furnished place would be nice. I would also need internet (preferably wifi) because I spend a lot of time online. Air-conditioning is nice as well. The last couple of places that I have rented have had everything (power, wifi etc.) included in the rent & even though it probably costs a little more I don't mind cause it's easier. If you have a place that you think would suit me then please don't hesitate to contact me.
At this time I have found a place. I am just sorting out details. I'm a quiet person who likes puzzles, reading and studying. I'm a huge pop culture nerd. I am a person who loves to hang out with friends and I make friends quickly so feel free to hang out with me or if you are a person who likes company (parties or chill outs) I'm cool. I'm a full time student and a part-time nanny.
Hey guys my name is Simon Im 34 and i am looking for a place preferably with a yard to share for me and my 7yr old rescue greyhound Enzo. I am a full time shift worker in the railway and I'm easy going and friendly, Enzo is an outdoor dog he's very laid back, likes to lounge around all day and is well behaved he very rarely barks at anything and is great with other people and other dogs (not a fan of cats though). looking to share with fun, social, easy going people who like animals. Best locations is anything really just reasonably close to a train station and not too far from the city is preferred. I have to move out by the 15th of Jan next year so looking at anything from about the 8th of Jan as a move date. Thanks for reading ☺. Look forward to hearing from you
I've just recently finished a Law & Arts double degree and am working full-time on George street in the city! I'm a fun social person, but like to have my alone time too. I love dogs, good music and good food. Ideally looking to be close to public transport to get to work. I'm not in a huge hurry to move out but ideally would like to move out around Jan/Feb - but if the perfect roommate/place pops up I'd be happy to move earlier!
I am a 22 yr old female currently working full time and studying law/business at UQ. I love dogs. In any spare time I have, I enjoy watching Netflix, cooking/baking and catching up with friends. I like having a clean kitchen, and I tidy up after myself in common areas. I am a somewhat quiet roommate but I enjoy having a chat or dinner with others in the house. I would be comfortable living with anyone. My current lease ends 12 January, and I am looking to secure a new place before then for at least 6 months. Would prefer an unfurnished room in a furnished house, as I have my own bed and desk, but I am flexible. Built in wardrobe is a must.
I'm 47 & keep myself reasonably fit & healthy, I like the quiet life these days, so not looking for a party house, but I am sociable & also enjoy my own company at times. I enjoy a good laugh & once I get to know people you won't stop me talking about any rubbish that I can think of, so I like a good conversation, sometimes light-hearted & silly, other times in-depth! I am a tidy person & won't leave a mess & I respect other people's property & treat it like I would my own. I'm not interested in drugs, or sharing with anyone who uses them. I don't mind a few beers, or a glass of wine or two, nothing mad though. I enjoy the outdoor lifestyle, walking, running, kayaking, mountain biking, photography and also a bit of an artist and I like a bbq every now & then. I think I'm a reasonably intelligent person and am educated to advanced diploma level. I'm looking to move into a shared house/flat/unit in Brisbane, having owned my own place in Murwillumbah, NSW, after a relationship split over 8 months ago. I'm also looking for somewhere that has space to keep my kayak & mountain bike, they weren't cheap, so I'd be looking to store in a garage or maybe secure under house storage, shed etc. I'd prrfer a long term stay, but a short term stay could work too. Wifi is a must!
Hi, I am originally from Canada. I have lived here for three years now and definitely call Brisbane my home. I am looking for something close to the Wesley Hospital as that is where I work. I am a nurse who works Monday to Friday 9-5. I am quiet but do like to socialise.
Hello! My name is Alex. I am a young professional from Edinburgh, Scotland. I am an outgoing person who enjoys sport, travelling and cooking. I am looking for a long-term flatshare or houseshare arrangement within travelling distance of the CBD and my office in Milton.
Hey, I'm looking for a queer-friendly house. I'll be studying at QUT Kelvin Grove next year, so I need somewhere with easy access to public transport. I'm clean, respectful and down to earth. I like hanging out with housemates but also like having personal space and time to myself. I'm an Irish transguy who has been in Australia for 6 years and currently work as a disability support worker. In my downtime I like to draw, play music, cook, go to markets, do yoga and go to the beach. I would love to live somewhere with a veggie patch (although I haven't had much luck with not killing anything I've tried to grow in the past). I want somewhere long term that can be a home, instead of just renting a room. If I sound like I would be a good fit for your home, please get in touch :) Thanks, Cian
