Heya ! I'm looking for a new place when my current lease ends at the start of November - would preferably want to move about a week before that date, but can be flexible for the right place :) I just recently moved up from Sydney to study at UQ - uni/work keep me pretty busy, but in my spare time I'm keen on rock climbing, hiking, cooking, and enjoying the finest wine that $5 can buy. I'm also quite a procrasti-cleaner, so for the sake of my productivity would enjoy living with people who share my appreciation for a clean kitchen/bathroom. Other than a pot plant called Wilfred I don't own any pets, but love animals so any house-pets are a bonus. If you have a room available late October-November, I'd love to have a chat and check it out ☺️
Hey! I'm an Electrical Engineer coming to Brisbane for my Masters Degree from UQ. Extremely friendly guy, easy going, super clean and love to go out and explore the city. Not a party guy sorry but like to hang out with friends and absolutely respect one's privacy. It would be nice to have a gym buddy. I can cook and also love swimming or go out for biking. Looking for flatemates male or female (doesn't matter but max 3) to share a flat or a property somewhere around 250pw all amenities included with separate bathroom and have a pool preferably. It's a new adventure for me so I'd like to live with cheerful & very friendly people so I don't get homesick :D PS: A cat is ok for a pet. I got dog allergy :( and open for team-up esp with students!
Ciao! I am moving to Brisbane in January to start a PhD in marine biology at UQ! :) Excited...and a bit anxious at the same time! So...I am looking for a private room to rent in a shared apartment/house. I will be based for my PhD at UQ- St Lucia campus..so any apartment in the nearby areas would be perfect! If transportation is not too bad I would really love to find a place close to the sea as well.. :) I am originally from Italy, but I have been living in many different countries (Spain, France, US, Israel...) and I have shared apartments with people from different cultures and i really loved it! I enjoy a lot to spend time with my flatmates and became good friends with all of them...I always try to make my best to have a "family" environment with my flatmates and I wish to find the same in Brisbane. I am very clean and respectful, quite but I also like to have friends at home for dinners or to just hang out ... I am looking for a cozy environment and for respectful, clean and friendly flatmates who could become my "family" while in Brisbane and with whom to share great experiences. I love swing dancing, animals and anything nature-related...hiking, diving, bird-watching, biking...etc... I also love to cook...and am trying to improve my skills at making fresh pasta, pizza and italian pastries.. :p so this should be a good reason to have me as a flatmate! ;) Looking forward to hearing from you! Gabriella
Hey, i am looking for a place with local flatmates around my age. A bit about me i grad with my honours last year. I hope to meet flatmates that are easy-going and can show some hospitality. I have a car and no storage or furniture. I keep busy on weekdays but like to have a good time on weekends.
I'm 20, study psychology at QUT and work at an Italian Restaurant. Looking for a place that's a short walk or ride to QUT. I'm into swimming, and love my bike to death. If you have a pet then i already want to move in haha. Easy as to live with and like to cook fairly often. Don't hesitate to message me.
I'm a 28 year-old uni student at UQ majoring in journalism, while also a producer and reporter. Looking for socially like-minded, drama-free housemates around my age as I'm someone who has their life together with clear goals and aspirations in life. In the downtime, I'm a dancer, big CrossFit enthusiast, a passionate writer and more importantly, a fun laidback guy who enjoys beer, some buffalo wild wings and either a karaoke machine or some NFL. I'm also well-travelled having lived in New York for a year. If you think we'd get along nicely, not just as housemates but also potential friends, then swing me a message. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Chris
I'm a professional working full-time and studying a Bachelor of Science part-time at uni so I am very busy and only at home during the evenings. I'm currently in an awesome share at Clayfield but sadly this is only until the end of November 2017, so I am looking for a female flatmate of similar age who I could potentially share with long-term. I don't have parties or regular visitors, don't drink or smoke, and respect the privacy of those I live with. I'm very fitness-minded so I'm up early and go to bed early, so I don't keep anyone up at night too. If you are looking for a quiet, tidy, mature and reliable flatmate who values a relaxed and peaceful household and you are offering a flexible period of up to 6 months to 1 year to stay in a furnished room (preferably with own bathroom) then please don't hesitate to contact me. (Please note: I am currently not looking to sign on to a lease/take over a lease, apologies.) Looking forward to hearing from you - please feel free to ask any questions if you'd like to know more! Update: I've had quite a few offers recently (thankyou) but please note I am not looking to live with someone who is on the party scene, regular visitors, heavy social drinking etc. Unfortunately my schedule means I have to be particular about my living arrangements. Thanks for your understanding.
Clean and tidy. I am a minimalist - don't like clutter :) Love the gym. Work full-time M-F office hours. Studying part-time. I usually keep to myself, but happy to lend an ear if you need one.
Hi there! I’m a cheery extroverted introvert from singapore that enjoy quality time with small social circles but also thoroughly appreciate alone time at home. I love to keep the household neat and clean and would definitely enjoy a room/flatmate with the same level of tidiness. I enjoy cooking, baking and I am a big animal lover so I would not mind if you have pets!
Super friendly, easy going kind of guy looking for some like minded housemates. Neat and clean in communal areas and respectful of other housemates in regards to their work/studies and noise or having people over. Happy to socialise with other housemates too! I'm into video games and gym in my free time but not crazy about either. Can cook and take care of myself. Have been working as a full time personal trainer (2016) but returning to part time hours at Woolworths (still employed by them) in 2017 as it fits better with my new Uni schedule.
Working at Hudsons coffee by day, working for 4ZZZ by night. Audio Engineer, Classic car enthusiast and media specialist. Active, OCD clean, muso with the love of isolation. I have a mini chihuahua that does not bark, nor shed. I own a car. Looking to live alone or with one other housemate. Looking for a quiet household, I like to keep to myself and cook 😊 Please message me if any of this suits you!
I'm looking to move into an existing sharehouse around mid-late October onwards, with move-in date flexible. I'm a 25 year old female PhD student at the University of Queensland, where I also tutor par-time. I'd describe myself more of an introvert than a party person, but I love a good wine or a few drinks on a Sunday afternoon. I generally go to UQ about 3-4 times a week and otherwise work at home with my dog. I have a gorgeous 2 year old west highland terrier called Louie! He is desexed, up to date on all vaccinations, etc. He is generally a pretty chill little dude to live with and likes to sleep and sunbake as he pleases. He is an indoor dog and has always had access to common areas (e.g. living room). He's a friendly little guy, so if you too have a dog I'm sure they'd be great friends, but it would be great for them to meet first.
Hello, 26 year old full-timer looking for 1-2 housemates in their 20s or 30s to live with. I grew up in Adelaide until 2 years ago when I moved down to Brisbane for work. On the scale of housemates, I am at the gym mostly on weeknights after work but if I'm around I don't mind having a chat. I am ridiculously resourceful, relaxed, reliable and tidy. This past year I have been living in a single apartment and I discovered I miss having housemates. At the same time, I like having my own regular down time. Going to be looking for a pet friendly rental close to Brisbane. Don't mind where the house is, just as long as it's pet friendly, close enough to the city and clean. I don't have a pet yet but after I secure a good place, I wish to get a labrador. Give me a message if you are in a similar mind set and we can go have a coffee! Kind regards, Tiffanny
I am a very clean and quiet person. I am an introvert and like to keep to myself - so don't expect any parties from me. I do like having the occassional board game or movie night though! I would love to find a roommate who is looking for a friend/ helping each other situation. Where we can cook together, get groceries and just generally hang out. I am an artistic person, I love painting, music and study graphic design. I am also hugely influenced by pop culture and love collecting figurines and comics. I have a 3 year old boy, so I would like to find a housemate who either has children already, is another single mother or just loves kids! My son is a very funny little boy he will brighten anyone's day and he loves helping and feeling involved :) I am currently living in Melbourne but am looking at moving back to Queensland and am honestly not too fussed on location, as long as it's a safe area and is not too far from Brisbane city! (I am also looking for a house that would have 2 bedrooms free - one myself and one for my son.)
I'm a friendly and polite person, clean, sensible and intuitive. I live in Tasmania at the moment, but I'm looking to venture up to Brisbane for the sunshine and to meet new people. My interests include sports and games (namely basketball), listening to music, binge watching TV series and movies. I also enjoy trying new things, discussing ideas and learning. I'm usually quite reserved but I do open up around the right people (or anyone if I have some drinks). My moving date is very flexible - I can wait as long or as little as needed.
Hi, my name is Teresa. I'm an agency nurse, however I don't do night duty. I own a car. I'm tidy but not a clean freak and I'm social but I also know when to give someone their space. I have lived in share accommodation before and I am a considerate, respectful housemate. I have an indoor kitten Amira, who has stopped growing but remained kitten size, she's very cute. We hope to hear from you :)
I am self-employed (co-owner in an editing firm), I am very clean and tidy, always keen to have a chat and socialise, (food, glass of wine, or cider and a good chit chat!). I am respectful of others, their personal space and of course, their property. I am single, quiet and ensure bills/rent are paid on time or ahead of schedule.
Hi Gang, I'm a very respectful, neat & tidy single guy. Having both owned and share housed several times I've learnt how to get along with most Folks My wish list, (though not strict) is LGBTIQ friendly (a Must !), WiFi / bills included, Double bed, furnished, a/c, own bathroom. I lived and worked in Brisbane before and recently returned home from Byron Shire. Love movies, Beach, quiet nights at home, walking and visiting family & friends. I'm punctual with rent / bills, don't mind doing the dishes, sharing a meal or two, nor helping keep the place clean and homely. Drop us a line if you think your interested. Kind Regards Doug :)
