Hi, this is Patrick! I'm a single 26 year old male looking to live with people around or just below my age group. I'm currently working 25 hours a week at Woolworths and am looking to increase that. I'm a fairly, quiet, clean guy who's a massive geek; I love books, movies, tv and video games. My cooking ranges from 'ok' to 'decent' but at least I've got a variety of dishes at my disposal!
I am tidy, respectful, and easy to get along with. I go out on most weekends and chill with my mates sometimes have a drink. I usually stick to myself but don't mind a chat. During the week I have work from 6-2 and sometimes on the weekends so I'm busy most of the time.
Looking for a place starting mid-January! I'm moving from California to start a PhD at Griffith Uni (studying coral reefs). I'm social but respectful of space, clean, and pretty easy to live with. I like to cook and usually enjoy relaxing with a glass of wine or a beer during the evenings. I like exploring new places and enjoy all things outdoors (weekend hiking is my favorite!). I'm hoping to find a place with accessible public transportation to get around (especially to the university) until I get a car. Ideally, I'd want a furnished room but not a deal breaker. No preference on male/female housemates but prefer similar age group. If it seems like I'd be a good fit to your place/household, don't hesitate to contact me!
Hi my name is Steph, I will be a full time student at UQ, I'm studying a Bachelor of Biotechnology. I was hoping to make a good friend to move in with, some one who i get along well with who is clean, and easy going and most importantly someone to have some fun with. I was hoping to move around Mid January, but I'm flexible on dates. If any one is interested hit me up :) I was looking at a 2 or 3 bedroom home around St lucia.
Hey, My name is Anh, I'm an international student looking to move out of my current place at the end of this year. I have been in Australia for 7 years (5 in Brisbane). I finished my science degree with an Honours last year and I am completing my diploma in teaching at the end of this year. I will start to look for jobs/ do some travelling next year but still want a nice place to stay. I'm an introvert, tidy and quiet but I do enjoy cooking and baking for friends and people around. Food adventures and dining out are absolutely welcome. I am a foodie at heart, considering the fact that I chose Food Technology as a career path. Besides, I like to have things in order and clean my house frequently. I enjoy having a drink and chill out watching TV. I read and play terrible piano too. If you are looking for good Vietnamese food, look no further and contact me :)
I am in my late 20s and have recently graduated. I like to keep it to myself most of the times and also respect others privacy, but that certainly doesn't mean that I am not up for a chat sometimes. A non smoker, not quite a party person and yes, NOT pet friendly either. I like to keep the house clean but not too finicky, so a relaxed person to stay with. I like to cook and happy to share the food(eat it at your own risk though :D). Looking for a place to share with no more than two people.
Hi! My name is Rosie, I'm 21 and I am moving to Brisbane in January 2017 to start studying for a Bachelor of Design. I have been working in a high school Art Department in my hometown (Hobart) for the past 2 years, it was awesome fun but I am keen to experience uni life! I am great to live with because: I always pay my rent/bills on time, I clean up after myself and love being around people but am also fine doing my own thing In my free time I love drawing and making little arty things, relaxing in general, watching Netflix and going to the gym. I'm always up for a chat and love hanging out, but will also need some space to study :) I also love Harry Potter, cats, dogs and most nerdy things
Hi! I'm Maddy and I'm an RN at the RBWH. So if you hurt yourself, I'm a great roomie 👌🏼 Looking to hopefully move at the end of February/start of march. Would like to stay in close proximity to the hospital and if there are some other Royal/Charlies nurses out there keen to get a place together that would be great! I'm a neat and tidy person who loves to cook and bake (brownies, cookies, you name it) and loves a good cheese platter and wine. (Usually I do it by myself, but with friends is better #singlelife) I know how to be quiet, but also don't mind having a chat and a laugh on the couch in my pj's eating pizza. If you haven't worked it out by now, I really enjoy food. Oh and I don't smoke. My prerequisites for a new place would that I get the garage/undercover car space and potentially my own bathroom if it is more than 2 bedrooms, but I'm not picky, as long as you're neat and tidy! If you're looking to move at this time, chuck me a message!
Move date in January** I am a full time nurse working shift work hours. I am super laid back, tidy, outgoing and respectful of house mates. love a wine or two and hoping to meet housemates who are like minded :) prefer the master bedroom if possible!
Hey my name Zac sparrow I'm 24 and a full time plasterer. I'm looking for a room somewhere around Brisbane would prefer a house with a couple guys rather than an apartment but will have a look at anything. I don't mind a bit of banter and a beer on the weekend, I'm pretty easy going will get along with just about anyone. Swing us a message if you want to know anything or you think I'd suit your place
My name's Claire and I'm fun, chatty, happy person! I am a primary school teacher and as such I am a mature person (who can also get down and party when the time is right!). I'm clean and tidy and like things neat. I'm easygoing and happy to hang out or just chill out together. Females only please :)
Hi there! My name is Ramez (or Mez for short) and I'm a recently graduated intern Doctor starting work in 2017. I am a responsible, clean and considerate person who has shared accommodation in the past; I understand the value of common courtesy that every flatmate deserves! I enjoy fitness, binge watching TV shows and cooking!
Hi, my names Jessie. I'm a really easy going 19 year old girl. I am clean, tidy and respectful, looking for someone alike to live with. I'm moving to Brisbane to study so would love to get a room where I can do my own thing but also hang out from time to time. Would love for the people I move in with to become friends, not just roommates. Send me a message on here if you're interested in finding out more about me/look for a place together.
Hi there! My name is Bri, kinda like the cheese. Full-time working professional and singer-songwriter. I am an outgoing introvert so love meeting new people and having a good laugh but am also happy to have downtime. As a housemate, I am friendly, clean and considerate - I will always do my share and pay bills on time. For fun I enjoy cooking, travel, reading, watching movies, making music and stalking cute dogs at the park. I don't mind a sneaky beverage with dinner, usually wine or tequila. I am respectful to the LGBTQI community. What I am looking for: Ideally somewhere relatively close to the city for the long term. I need to have enough space for music equipment either in my room or another space (eg. garage) where I won't annoy anyone. It would be great to be somewhere that pets are allowed as I have always wanted a dog. In a housemate, I am looking for someone who is like-minded. If you have a dog, I will also love it like my own.
Hey! Firstly, I'm not needing to move until January. I currently work fulltime at Mount Coot-tha and I've been living in Taringa for the past 3 years. I enjoy eating out, going out, having a drink after work, music festivals and going for runs along the river - or just staying in and binge watching netflix. I'd need to move early January, ideally looking to stay around Toowong/Taringa (train line / bus line) - but pretty flexible. I have my own communal appliances and furniture to bring with me if needed. Shoot me a message if you would be interested in starting a new place or if you need a spot filled and we can grab a coffee - Thanks!
Howdy. I'm a third-year student studying a BA (writing ext. major) at UQ. I work for the student mag. I'm an avid reader and wordsmith, I publish zines and comics, and I volunteer for community groups as well as organise events. Things to consider: I'm busy. I'm looking for a quiet household where housemates chill at home and go out to party. I need need need housemates who are comfortable chilling out in communal spaces, but understand when housemates want to be alone (in their room). I value a healthy level of tidiness that isn't casual grubbiness or enforced cleanliness (adults shouldn't need chore rosters). I love vegetarian and vegan food, and eat minimal amounts of meat. I do not share food due to negative experiences. Important: - I'M LOOKING FOR HOUSES ONLY. I have furniture: bookcase, cabinet, desk, drawer, couch I sleep on (would like to buy proper bed), side table, 2x coffee tables, 5x odd table chairs. I'll require storage space if there's no room for it in the house. - I AM ALLERGIC TO CATS AND DOGS. For the love of god don't waste our time if you have cats or dogs around.
I'm a boilermaker by trade, starting training as a commercial pilot. I go camping, 4WD as often as possible. I'm quiet at home and very clean/organised. Often spending my afternoons studying.
I'm quiet, respectable, single, outgoing, I was bourn in Sydney and of Fijian decent, brought up the treditional island way, I have a big heart and always help others, I am told I'm too kind. I am clean, I'm a Diesel Technition and quals that range from the auto industry to Business/ Accounting. Great with kids, don't have any of my own tho. I do smile from time to time lol. Good with my hands and can fix just about anything, love challenges. Great listener and keen for a chat. Love music and a bit of a Dj too. You can contact me looking forward to what comes next :)
My English name is Louisa, a postgraduate student studying at University of Queensland. Rina is just transliteration of name. I am a clean and tidy girl, easygoing and good at cooking. interested in draw, reading and cooking. I want to find a brick house where has air-condition not the wood house. Sharing apartment with one or two people is my preferred choice. especially the new and furnitured apartment. and the bedroom's window should not be too small. Hope have my own bathroom. If I really really like the room, I don't mind move in immediately or later some days.
Easy going mature lady (non-smoker) seeking furnished room in Bne around Yeronga, Annerley, East Brisbane areas. I prefer an en-suite or own-use bathroom although this is not a killer. I will need accommodation from beginning of January. I respect peoples' need for space and generally keep to myself, but I also enjoy a glass of red and a great conversation - so it would be great to find like minded flatties (male or female). I will need to be within easy walking distance of train and bus routes as I will not have a vehicle initially. Also very much hoping to find somewhere with reasonable access to a park for runs/walks. I am studying (USQ) but will also be job seeking (please note that I am self supported financially).
I'm an international full-time student from Dubai starting at UQ in Semester 1, 2017 (Environmental Management). I was studying in the US (Chicago) before. I'm super tidy and clean (like keeping everything super clean but won't mind if it's not), and pretty decent at cooking too. Easy going, and always ready to help a friend. I am always respectful towards everyone and will give you your privacy. Doesn't mean I don't like to chill out and have fun. I love going out and playing sports. I play football (Soccer), badminton and Quidditch (no, i'm not kidding, it's a pretty physical sport!), and good at picking up other ones too. Love spontaneous adventures and ready to walk/hike any and everywhere. I'll be new to the city and the country, so I would like to explore a lot during the weekends provided I have the time. Always down to watch a movie or tv show. Join me for small adventures if you want! :D I don't mind living with anyone, so if you have a room to offer or are looking to team up, Hit me up! :) (That was two too many "up's") PS - The closer it is to the university the better it would be.
I am from India, about to start my Masters in Finance at Griffith. 24 years old, love sports. I am pretty laid back, fun loving too. i need my surroundings to be clean and preferably quite. Wanna judge me? Go ahead - Manchester United fan(not the douchey kind :p ) who loves football on the whole amongst other sports, Favourite band - The Beatles, open to all kinds of music but classic rock takes 1st place. Kinda shy, especially if you're pretty. *wink*(not for you men out there..lol) ..Favourite food- Pizza(pizza is life, pizza is love), Favourite movie- Dark Knight. Last but not the least- Favourite women- Amber Heard :p ...... Wanna hear a joke? In Winnie The Pooh, why did Piglett make Tiger look down the toilet???? To find POOH!(duh *drops mic*)
At this time I have found a place. I am just sorting out details. I'm a quiet person who likes puzzles, reading and studying. I'm a huge pop culture nerd. I am a person who loves to hang out with friends and I make friends quickly so feel free to hang out with me or if you are a person who likes company (parties or chill outs) I'm cool. I'm a full time student and a part-time nanny.
I've just recently finished a Law & Arts double degree and am working full-time on George street in the city! I'm a fun social person, but like to have my alone time too. I love dogs, good music and good food. Ideally looking to be close to public transport to get to work. I'm not in a huge hurry to move out but ideally would like to move out around Jan/Feb - but if the perfect roommate/place pops up I'd be happy to move earlier!
I am a 22 yr old female currently working full time and studying law/business at UQ. I love dogs. In any spare time I have, I enjoy watching Netflix, cooking/baking and catching up with friends. I like having a clean kitchen, and I tidy up after myself in common areas. I am a somewhat quiet roommate but I enjoy having a chat or dinner with others in the house. I would be comfortable living with anyone. My current lease ends 12 January, and I am looking to secure a new place before then for at least 6 months. Would prefer an unfurnished room in a furnished house, as I have my own bed and desk, but I am flexible. Built in wardrobe is a must.
I'm 47 & keep myself reasonably fit & healthy, I like the quiet life these days, so not looking for a party house, but I am sociable & also enjoy my own company at times. I enjoy a good laugh & once I get to know people you won't stop me talking about any rubbish that I can think of, so I like a good conversation, sometimes light-hearted & silly, other times in-depth! I am a tidy person & won't leave a mess & I respect other people's property & treat it like I would my own. I'm not interested in drugs, or sharing with anyone who uses them. I don't mind a few beers, or a glass of wine or two, nothing mad though. I enjoy the outdoor lifestyle, walking, running, kayaking, mountain biking, photography and also a bit of an artist and I like a bbq every now & then. I think I'm a reasonably intelligent person and am educated to advanced diploma level. I'm looking to move into a shared house/flat/unit in Brisbane, having owned my own place in Murwillumbah, NSW, after a relationship split over 8 months ago. I'm also looking for somewhere that has space to keep my kayak & mountain bike, they weren't cheap, so I'd be looking to store in a garage or maybe secure under house storage, shed etc. I'd prrfer a long term stay, but a short term stay could work too. Wifi is a must!
Hi, I'm a full time student and am also working part time. I'm quiet and clean and although I am a social person, I enjoy my own space. It's important to me that communal areas remain clean and that dishes are done straight away. I feel like this just makes life easier for everyone. I also feel like it's important to turn lights off and not leave things on when they're not in use. I'm looking to move out with like minded people and am only moving due to my housemate needing to convert my room into a home office. I don't have any pets but I don't mind if you do, I love animals. I'm a positive person and would love to live with positive people.

Hi, my name is Emily. I'm a qualified Chef and manage a business on North Side. I moved up from Canberra last year and it's time to move out of my parents place and closer to work! I work full time during the week and on the weekends like to get out and about to the beach or go hiking in the hinterlands. I seem to get along with anyone which makes things a lot easier. I am looking for a place that has a spacious bedroom to easily fit a queen bed, a secure car space, and preferably my own bathroom. Something long term would suit me perfectly :)
I'm a physiotherapy student at UQ, looking to find a place to rent for 12 months while I'm on placement. I love cooking, wine/cocktails, going to the markets and keeping active outdoors.
Hello! My name is Maurice. I am a 42 year old professional (software engineer and business owner), looking for share accommodation either close to the city, or on the southside (near Sunnybank/Eight Mile Plains). I am quiet, tidy, and very respectful of other people's ways. I do like to socialise, and I'm always up for a meal and a chat if you want. At times, though, I can be quite busy (with work and family). If you're looking for someone to party with every night, I am not the person for you. I am a light social drinker, have never done drugs, and I am looking for a house that is completely smoke free. I try to live a healthy lifestyle (I do ashtanga yoga twice a week), and I'm a bit of a foodie (I'll be bring a sous vide machine with me). Having said that, I currently live near Sunnybank and there's a lot of great restaurants around here!
I am currently working in the Valley and am looking to move closer to work. I currently live in Ipswich and the commute is getting too much. I'm easy going, don't mind having a chat or a couple drinks. I also don't mind keeping to myself. I'm very tidy and reliable.
Hey I'm Jess, I'm currently working at a florist & studying teacher aide. I love dancing & cats. I'm generally a quiet person but also love to be social. Preferably would like to live with females.
I am really easygoing, happy to do my own thing but also friendly. I have been working overseas as a live-in nanny for two years so I'm used to being tidy and respectful of someone else's home. I love to travel, meet new people, watch musicals and go running. I will be commencing study in 2017, but would like to move to Brisbane before the new year. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, I'm looking forward to meeting my new housemates :)
Hi there. i'm a tradesman and plant operator, looking for a relaxed place with chill people. i'm a considerate and clean guy who loves cooking and sharing a meal with his housemates. i work fulltime, 6 nights a week, so would prefer housemates that are a bit more mature, and are past the "party house" stage.... :) I AM LOOKING FOR A HOUSE ONLY, NOT AN APPARTMENT.....
Just looking for a nice place with some nice people. I work full time at Suncorp Insurance so you won't see much of me during the day. Born in Brisbane and proud Queenslander. Worked in the nightclub scene for about 2 years so my partying days are pretty much behind me but always keen for a beer with banter on the side and the occasional stories. I have always been pretty clean and do the household chores on a fair basis. I game a bit but not everyday - usually COD or Battlefield. I love cooking and will usually make far too much food. If I'm the kinda guy your looking for give me a text and the address and I'll have a look :)
I'm looking for a nice single room in a clean, beautiful and shared house where I can meet some great people and call the house my home :) I'm 26-year-old Polish, work full-time as a development engineer in CBD and go to the gym 4/5 times a week. I'm all into sport, recently started to surf. I do my dishes always immediately and require it from you as well :) Hope to find a great place! ;) Cheers, Krystian
I'm 22 and I work full-time for an education organisation. I love a bit of yoga and a cheeky wine every now and then. I'm super easy going, clean and respectful. I'm generally rather quiet but always down for hangs and a chat! I've lived in share houses for 4 years or so, so I know the drill :) Keen to move ASAP but am flexible. Look forward to hearing from you! Krystal
Shalom! My name is Chevy, I'm a 19 year old author, blogger and columnist! I am looking for a cool guy or gal to stay with in or around the city from January onwards in order to look for part/full time work. I can teach you Hebrew phrases and cook you Kebabs. We can be partners, conspirators. We will plot our takeover. It will be just like in the movies. I've grown up in the suburbs and also in the sticks - I lived in a small rural town, in fact so small it can no longer even be found on maps, and attended a school with only twelve or so other students (what?). Shortly after moving to the suburbs, the school closed down and the town was virtually abandoned. I grew up in Upper Caboolture for about eight years before moving West to Kilcoy, where I have been for the last six or so years. In my spare time I am a blogger and a collumnist, and I am about to publish a non-ficton book on the changing dynamic of power in the Middle East. At the same time I play Minecraft and my eating habits are ridiculous, so I am still quite the typical teenager. Just a little different. Let's you and I get in contact!
I'm a 21 year old qualified Graphic Designer, studying another degree at UQ. I am bubbly, out-going and always keen on adventures. I'm in love with photography and all things creative and absolutely love my wildlife, so hopefully you don't mind me bringing some plants and an abundance of art supplies. Looking for a place in January to stay until late May/June as I am moving overseas for an internship in August and want to stay with family the few months before. If there is anything you would like to know about me, feel free to get in touch. I would love to hear for you!
Hey! Anyone going away for the summer and wanting to rent out their room temporarily? I'm only looking for 1-2 months, will respect all your things and can pay for the whole duration up front. Thanks :)
Student- friendly, honest and always quite. Been moving to many places and had met great people. Looking for a place close to transportation to the city to go to uni and shops close by.
I'm very social, easy-going and friendly, and am generally always up for a good time. That being said, I also know when it's time to get to work and be quiet and respectful. I like to keep busy, whether it be study or work, socialising or fitness. I'll be entering my 4th and final year of Speech Pathology at UQ in the new year and am keen to make it a good one. I am generally a very tidy person and will clean up after myself and help around the house when it's needed.
Hi there, I'm Zoe! I am a 33 year old Executive Assistant working for the Government in the Brisbane CBD. I am looking to move into a house (or possibly a large unit or townhouse) within the leafy suburbs of Paddo, Ashgrove, Red Hill or surrounds. My preference would be living with one or two other ladies around my age who would enjoy a casual drink, dinner or a TV series marathon every now and then and are casual and easy going. I also need an undercover car park. My interests include going to the gym, yoga, live music, travelling, photography and bush walking. I am a big cat and dog lover, so living with animals would be fine. At this stage I am flexible around move in dates and happy to consider something in the New Year also. I am also interested in team ups - so feel free to send me a message and we can discuss more. I hope to hear from you soon.
Hi all I'm looking for a furnished room that is close to UQ. I will have my final semester next year. I hope the rent includes all the utilities and internet (also prefer to have own bathroom, but not necessarily). I am quiet, clean and friendly. Most of the time, I like to stay in my room and do studies but I also don't mind occasionally socializing with my housemates. I'm very well-experienced living in a shared house, so could be sure that I would not be a burden to you. Thanks for reading. Hope to hear from you! **sorry, due to free account, the messages sending to me may be delayed a few days until I receive** **No phone calls please. I am currently away for holiday.** Thank you
Heya, we are two best friends from NZ who moved over to Brisbane in July this year to work and study. We are very easy going and down to earth gals who are looking forward to meeting some new people! We love the outdoors, play and watch all kinds of sport, enjoy socialising and having a few drinks on the odd weekend, but also like our downtime and keeping to ourselves. Please get in touch if you're looking for a team up or think you have the rooms for us! Looking forward to hearing from you :D Cheers, Courtney & Nicole
Hello! I'm looking for a room to rent while I continue my study at Griffith Uni. I'm someone who enjoys having a chat in the kitchen, perhaps with a glass of wine so I want to move in with people I will get along with. I also enjoy my time alone so I am big on respecting each others spaces so don't worry about that :) I'm a tidy and relatively quiet person and I enjoy to bake occasionally. I do spend some time out of the house usually on weekends at my boyfriends place so I won't be home all the time. Mostly just looking for a household I can live comfortably in while I continue my university career :)
Looking for people to share a house with around UQ! We are tidy and friendly and keep the house clean as much as possible. We are both 23 years of age and we have a sassy cat names Olive. I am commencing my master of Environmental Management in Feb and Rory is commencing his master of Exercise physiology in second semester. We like to keep to our selves but also love a good movie night. We don't tend to go out very much as we will be very studious. We like to spend our spare time outdoors on adventures and at the beach. We both live a healthy life style, of no smoking, eating healthy and exercising. Let me know if you think you'd like to have us or team up for a new share house :)
Currently working full time in the Brisbane city as a graduate accountant. Seeking to find a room/team up with someone to get an apartment near the city or I also don't mind living on the south side (Sunnybank/Garden city area). I am generally out of the house throughout the week, but if I am at home I would be playing PS4, cooking or chilling with friends. Other preferences: Car space, nearby gym Also I am flexible on move dates
Prefer to share with only 1-other person and have own bathroom. I'm a minimalist who likes to live without clutter. I am quiet, respectful of others people's property and privacy. Non-smoker, non-musician, no children and have no pets. I'm prefer the quiet life and am not a party animal. Love dogs but allergic to cats. Professional freelance graphic designer who works occasionally from home. Looking to study chemistry in 2017. I like cycling and need storage for two bikes. I also enjoy travelling and hiking. It'd be nice to share with a like-minded person who values good health and wellbeing.
Hi guys! I am a second year UQ Psychology student looking for some fun housemates to hopefully become great friends with and share a comfortable environment. I am a friendly and fairly easy going person who enjoys sarcasm, memes and cute cat videos (I love cats). I like to spend most of my time when I am not studying or working watching TV shows, eating and napping (naps are life). I would therefore say I am pretty easy to live with, I am always up for a chat or a cheeky alcoholic beverage however at the same time I will always respect your space and privacy when you need it. I am looking to move in around January, however I can be pretty flexible with dates. So if I sound like someone you would be interested in living with or you just want to ask me some questions feel free to contact me anytime! (would prefer a team up situation if possible)
Hey guys! My partner, dog and I are planning to move out and we would love someone to move in with us. Lachy is currently seeking employment, he loves a good gaming session and he may be 19 but he has a soul of a 60 year old. We promise to never make you feel like a third wheel, we behave a lot more like mates than a couple. We are currently looking at places in the suburbs listed. Some of our prerequisits are: House related: Must be less than 20 minute drive to Griffith's Nathan campus Must have 3 bedrooms (of course) Must have 2 bathrooms (can be 1 bathroom + ensuite) Penny requires the master bedroom in order to fit her king size bed and Mishka Must be fully fenced People related: We're not able to live with anyone who smokes (cigarettes and other) We're not able to live with anyone who partakes in any other form of drugs Must be ok with Penny not wearing pants around the house (I promise to always wear undies though) Some of our preferences are: Built in wardrobes in rooms Males to move in with us (it's fine if you're a female, as long as you're ok with me not wearing pants 95% of the time - I always wear briefs though!) No other pets (Mishka does get along with other animals but it is preferable that she is the only animal) Basically we want to live in a house that isn't gross, that's fair right? I've got a number of house inspections booked during this week, if you are interested, please message me and you're more than welcome to come along. Also message me if you would like to meet either myself or myself and lachlan or even myself, lachlan and mishka. Looking forward to hearing from you! Penny
I am a postgrad medical student studying in UQ and am currently actively looking for a place closer to the hospitals. I am mostly quiet keeping to himself but sociable when things are happening. Normally I don't party. Never did drugs. Don't smoke. I am also tidy and cleans up after himself. I work as a casual online tutor with a lot of savings - enough to last me till I graduate in 3 more years and start being an intern, so rents and bills are never a problem. I also have my own car, so parking is essential (can be on or off street).
