Hey I'm Lorrin. I just moved to Brisbane to work and eventually start university at UQ. I have a temporary place at the moment so I'm looking for a more stable address. I'm pretty easy-going and a little awkward, I keep to myself but I'm sociable and get along with pretty much anybody. I can take care of myself; cleaning, washing, household duties. I am respectful and appreciate respect in return. I'm down with fun and games and can have a good time but also respect people's privacy and personal space. I can afford 150-170$/week. I'm super keen to live in Brisbane permanently and hope I can find some good people to get to know.
Easy going. I clean up after myself. Generally not up late, early start for work. Keen to meet new people. Lived in Australia my whole life, moved to Brisbane from Adelaide age 10. Love relaxing and having a beer.
Recently graduated engineer working in the CBD. Love to gym, play soccer and touch, cook and watch movies. I am neat, organised and great at dishwashing lol.
I'm a very laid back easy going person. I train Capoeira and like to spend my time relaxing with friends or heading outdoors. I prefer a tidy place with harmony and EQ. I'm a respectful housemate and will always pay rent & bills on time. I have a dog (Ziggy) & a cat (Dave) who are both a little older and house trained. I also have furniture I can bring with me: couch, TV, washing machine, vacuum cleaner and other odds and ends. I have some flexibility in locations and budget, but I really prefer to live with people closer to my age range: 30 - 40, and places that are neat and tidy. My ideal situation is a place that is tidy, housemates that are sociable but not party animals.
My name is Luke, I'm a 27 year old public servant. I also have a second casual job which I work at once or twice per week, and I'm studying history part time. I keep to myself a bit, but would still like to live with another person or a group of flatmates. I love a clean and tidy home, so I'm pretty good with cleaning etc. Love reading, the theatre, walking, watching movies and documentaries, good food and great conversation.
I'm a 37, calm, clean, tidy, respectful, open minded, professional. I play the guitar and enjoy nature. I've been sharing houses since 2010. I'm vegetarian, in case it makes any difference I'm looking for private room on a shared house for around $200/week, for the 3 months. Furnished Cheers
I am a 32 yo professional who works in the CBD fulltime. I'm a very clean person, quiet during the week but like social drinks over the weekend. I have a cute little black cat called Boo and she's housetrained and very friendly and loves a good pat! . I'm very geeky, I love sci fi, anime and reading. I am also very musical and used to be a singer and I'm not one to take myself too seriously :) I prefer somewhere near public transport as I don't drive.

I am a 23-years-old girl from Spain, who is going to study a 1.5-year Master on International Law in the University of Queensland. I believe that each person doing small things can make a difference. I am very open-minded, respectful, adaptable and clean. I am spontaneous person and prefer not to have everything planned. I love meeting new people, especially from different countries and cultures and learn from them. Travelling is my greatest passion and I love sharing my bagpacking stories. I am learning how to play the guitar and also photography and I would like to keep up with it in Australia. I have been doing various sports and dancing my whole life and since two years ago I am into yoga and I love it. I like cities because there are always many things to do and cultural events going on, but I also need sometimes to leave into a more calm place to connect with nature and especially I like going to the sea. Music lover, books eater and beggining of a writter. I am also a good cooker of Spanish food and I like to make meals with my flatmates. I would like to live not too far from the UQ in a vivid area and with more than one flatmate.
I am a 27 year old Masters student at UQ. I am from Fl, US (hold the Trump jokes, I am still coping haha). Looking for a laid back, tidy, and comfortable place to call home. I am interested in a single room, unfurnished, and with no more than 2 other housemates who are down to earth, responsible, and positive. I am a pretty laid back person, independent, yet social. If this suits you, I'd be greatly interested in scheduling a viewing. I am looking to move within the next week. Look forward to hearing from you! Thanks
I am easy to get along with, very clean, reliable and friendly. I am currently studying a Diploma in Financial Planning and I'm looking for someone to rent an apartment with near/in Southbank, Brisbane. I'm looking for someone who is respectful, clean, reliable and easy to get along with.
Always the lifeblood of my team because I have a nack for making people happy and proud of being human. But can isolate myself if the environment is hostile. Have associated with people of diverse backgrounds and have learnt to respect and accept individual differences as a veritable and essential component of living
We are a working full-time couple in mid 30-40. No kids, no pets, not much stuff, non-smokers. Considerate, quiet, clean and tidy people looking for a quiet corner (en-suite/granny flat/studio). We've been living in an en-suite in a share-house for the last year, — we were ok with it. The landlord just decided to rent the whole house out, so we have to find a new place. Room is not a problem. I'm 155 cm high and we're both quite fit, so two of us take as much space as some people alone :))) I cook 2-3 times a week, but without suffocating the whole house with garlic or anything like that and we hope to find a place where the fresh air is valued :) The budget is slightly stretchable depending on the location, furnishing and bills.
I am a clean, upbeat, and quiet lady who is more than content in my room doing my own thing. I work part time and to save hard for one last Europe or America round trip. I am a very friendly person, if not shy to begin with, but once you have me as a friend I am glue and there for you through thick and thin. I come with a plus one; A little year old Calico kitten called Jenga, so pet friendly house have to be must. She is fine with dogs (except puppies for some reason) and loves people. Fully trained with adorable quirks.
I work full-time and I'm looking for somewhere close to a train station along the Ipswich or Springfield line. I'm a tidy person and even though I mostly keep to myself, I don't mind a friendly chat
Hi! I'm Araminta (Minty) 23, easy going, love animals, music (so many gigs, so little time) and food! (Food-based adventures also good). I'm fairly laid back, respectful and love a casual drink/chat with just about anyone. I work 3 days a week doing PR/events in the CBD so access to a city bus is a priority. I also love walking, swimming and rock climbing so adventure buddies would be good! I do have metal plates in my legs which means I get around on crutches a bit, but am fully independent and don't need no man (or woman or child, really) to help me with most things. Just figure upfront is best 😊 I'd like to find a place ASAP so please message me if you think I'd suit yours 😊 Anyway, I hope to find some new housemates and look forward to meeting you!
I'm an international student from Dubai and I will be studying Environmental Management at UQ from Semester 1. I was studying in the US at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. So yes, it's a big change. Looking for a place ASAP! I'm super easy and fun to live with. Am extremely neat and tidy, and love to keep my living space clean. Pretty decent at cooking too. I'm always ready to help a friend out. Will respect your privacy and space, as I would also like to get focused and study. Doesn't mean I don't like to hang out and watch a movie or binge watch a tv show. I enjoy playing a lot of sports especially badminton, football, Quidditch (yes it's a sport and it's very intense) and cricket. Love exploring new places am ready to hike/walk any-and-everywhere. I'll be new to the place so I would love to go out and explore on the weekends, provided I have the time. Would love to live or team up with any of you wonderful people so do not hesitate to hit me up! :D Cheers, Abhi PS - The $250 p/w is my budget including utilities
Hi everyone! I'm moving back from Toronto to Brisbane for my second semester at UQ. I'm currently doing a masters in Speech Language Pathology. I do have a lot of studying to do and will be hopefully working. However, I am pretty social and do like to share a drink together or indulge is some good discussions! I'm quite tidy and do like a clean place! I'm hoping to find a place with TWO rooms as I have another friend who is also looking for a place. She's also doing a masters in SLP. If not, it's okay as well.
I am a considerate and genuine person who is looking for a place to live in brisbane. I am adaptable and easy to get along with. I can be shy at first but once I get to know you I a very vibrant and confident person :)
Hello!! I'm Eliza, I'm 21 years old. I'll pretty well say what everyone else does, but it is true. I am a super respectful and tidy person (no really, I'll do your dishes if you leave them out but I don't mind - as long as you tidy up sometimes). I'm a very sarcastic person and most of the time I'm laughing. I work full time in Indooroopilly, and I would like to be within a fifteen minute drive to work. My current 45 minute+ commute is literally driving me nuts. Pun intended. I would genuinely like to hang with my future 'roomies' - however I do like my own time as well. I'm not too much of a partier, so if it's a party household then we won't suit. However I would partake in the occasion drink of a night time with my room mates. My max budget is $250 p/w including bills. I can move in April, however that can be moved forward a little. I would like more of a long term lease as well. This will be my first time moving out but I'm very independent so there won't be any dramas. Please feel free to message me if my little novel above didn't cover anything. :)
Hi, My name is Mai and I am currently in the process of re-repatriating back to Australia from an overseas work assignment. I'm looking for short term accommodation as I will be working towards another overseas assignment. I work full time in the city Monday to Friday 0800 - 1700. However my role requires frequent travel and I enjoy travelling personally so there may be times I will not be in the country from a few days to a few weeks at a time. I like to keep a busy life between work and getting out and about. I enjoy the odd wine with dinner or after work with friends, but by no means a 'party animal'. I do enjoy the odd chat / catch up with friends and like minded people but am also conscious of other peoples space and I am very comfortable with being in my own company. The space I am looking for would be preferably; - furnished - bills shared (if not already included in the rent) - internet access - parking space (off street is fine) I consider myself 'house proud'. I'd like to ensure the home is neat, clean and comfortable. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out! Looking forward to hearing from you! Mai
Hi I am a clean easy-going house mate, non-smoker. Like to live with housemates that I can have a chat with or a drink with. However have their own life at the same time Not looking to live in a party house. Looking for a home not just a place to sleep. I am respectful of others. Prefer to live with people who have busy active lifestyles. No couch potato's or people who sit at home 24/7. Life is for living!!!
I am about to start my Master degree in Environmental management and sustainability at the UQ. So, I am looking for a calm nice place to live not far from the University. Sometimes I have a mood to cook some sweet things as cheesecakes and carrot cakes. Also, I am from Russia and can cook some Russian food for my flatmates and me, and teach you some Russian :). I also speak Spanish cause I have already studied abroad in Spain, and have travelled pretty much, so, can tell some funny stories about my experience. I am ok with animals as well.
Hi, I am a working student. I study Nursing full time and work as a Wardsman in the health care industry I am quiet and independent but will always take a break for a chat. I'm looking for accommodation that's a little closer to work than the arrangement I currently have. I am friendly but mostly keep to myself. I love the occasional conversation and like to sit down to a cool drink. I am a coeliac , so I tend to do a lot of my own cooking.
Hi ! I'm a French student, and i'm following an exchange program at UQ during one semester. I'm very easy-going, and have already shared my flat in France. I Practice sport almost every day, and I will often visit some relatives who live in Mooloolaba.
I work in the city as a full time professional and play sport so am out of the house quite a bit. Ideally I would like a place (granny flat, studio, 1 or 2 bedroom) or a self contained room in a house. But I'm happy to share so long as I have a bit of space and privacy.
Hi I'm James I'm clean and tidy, like to make friends with my house mates, share a few drinks on occasion ,love sports and going out. But not a party guy most of the time keep to myself
Hi, Im a 27 Yr Old single Aussie guy. I work full time as an Aircraft Technician in the Airforce, I just moved up to QLD from Adelaide and am keen to suss out the city and the social side it has to offer. I pride myself on being a clean person to live with and like being social with the people I live with. I've lived in a share house for the majority of the past 7 years... I also enjoy good whiskies / beers / wines, decent coffee and I love to cook. Only preference for a house / unit would be that I have access to a secure covered carpark. I have two cars which one of them requires to be undercover (if available). I have a full 2 bedroom unit worth if furniture and effects. Am happy to store/ sell them if required or utilise as well. Ideally Id like something on the long term basis, happy to sign onto a lease and can provide previous rental references if required. Flexible with dates, preferable to have a few weeks notice (neg) and rent price is flex... Cheers, Mick
hi all. My name is oli. Im 26 from Manchester England. I have been working and travelling Australia for a year now and I have just been sponsored so looking to find a nice place to live in brisbane and to find like minded easy going sociable housemates. I'm clean , tidy and easy going. I work out on the mines on a 2 and 1 roster. I enjoy going to the gym travelling and just having a good laugh.
17 years old, turn 18 in November. QUT first year, Studying Bachelor of Justice. Social person, although I enjoy my space from time to time. Happy to share in cooking and cleaning. Love Dogs.
Hi, I'm Kathleen, I work full-time as a marketing supervisor in Milton. I am looking for a place in the Brisbane region, not particular about areas. I like a clean and positive environment, I am not a party animal but do enjoy a sneaky glass of wine at night. I have a small dog who is house trained and stays by my side but is very friendly.
Hi there! ;) I am Grégoire form France. I have a master in Agrifood and have worked in a french frozen food manufacturing company during one year in the supply chain service. I have been living in Brisbane for 4 months now while studying english in order to improve my level and pass the ielts. I am now looking for a job (with my WHV) and a furnished accommodation. My budget is 200$ including all bills. I have a preference for an accommodation without a landlord/manager inside the house for the simple reason that I had to suffer extreme rules in my previous share house which were extremely stressfull (shower for less than 5min, 15min washing option only for my clothes, internet box arbitrary shut off at 10 pm in order to not have the least DEL turn on in the house, no fan nor aircond...) so if you have this kind of limitation or any curfew, please don't send me an offer, living in a relax and cool atmosphere is my priority number 1. I will be staying maximum until the end of July in Brisbane, however I have indicated a lenght of stay of 4 weeks because I don't want to be locked here if I don't find any job after one month. I'd like also to have the possibility to park a bike because I will probably do some deliveries in the meanwhile I obtain a full-time job. Otherwithe I am a chill person who like to share beers or BBQ with friends. I really like domestic animals. I am also clean and tidy for shares area and take a bit more freedom for my own room cause I don't really like when all is perfectly well-placed. Thanks for reading! :)
I'm Safaa, studying at UQ master's degree. Looking for private room in a female house. l'm friendly and quiet , I have a positive mind and I respect personal space. I'm busy with my studies but I want to share people.
I am friendly, easy-going and always clean up after myself! I enjoy meeting new people so I am looking to move into a house with some lovely people who share similar traits. I'm currently undertaking my PhD at UQ while working casually at Biome Eco Stores. In my spare time, I like to go to local farmers markets, drink coffee, pat dogs and chill out with friends. I'm also a vegetarian but I am happy to live with carnivores! I'm looking to move around the beginning of April but this date is negotiable :)
Hi my name is Lachlan. Work full time as an Air Force pilot and looking for somewhere in the toowong area. Hello! We just arrived in Brisbane and now looking for a place to call home the next few months! We are both from the Netherlands and what got us here?! Well, my boyfriend (Johannes) is now studying at the The University Of Queensland and I'm looking for a temporary job. We are 25 years old and no big party animals. We like to socialise and interact and go for a drink once in a while. Besides that we like to be on our own sometimes, as we all do. We like to keep communal areas clean and respect other people's spaces. So we prefer a clean and tidy place to live in. In our free time we like to travel, go to the beach, do some sightseeing, read and/or go for a drink in the city :)

Hello everyone. Full time student and unemployed. Currently urgently looking for a place to stay that is mainly close to public transportation and shops as I study in the city. I am looking for a private room and I would like to settle down longer than a year. My only budget paying rent is $150 per week that includes bills which I am currently struggling where I am looking for a part time job for support. I've been independent for years as with no family and friends around and no one to help. I love to clean and cook for myself as most of the times and I like to do my own privacy. I'm usually shy at first but once you get to know me more, I'm kind, honest and love to share. Right now I am out living on the streets and which am homeless and currently need help for a place to stay so I can start studying. To know more about me, feel free message me for the places and appointments so I can arrange. Thank you.
I'm clean, tidy, respectful of others and their space. Easy to get along with. I work long days so not always home, but enjoy to be around other people when I am home. I'm from the UK on a student visa, have been here for 1 year already and visa is currently until December. Lease is up on the property I have been in for 1 year and looking to find somewhere new.
Hi, I'm Rode. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Science/Bachelor of Science (majoring in math) at UQ. I am a tidy person and easy to get along with. I can also cook good food. I work part time at Matchbox along with pick up jobs such as babysitting and high-school math tutoring. I currently live with my mum but am keen to get out asap. I am a singer and guitar player, so I have a huge passion for music. I also surf and box.
Dreaming of hangs on the porch couch with my future roomies looking out at our pet chickens and veggie patch attempts. I am a friendly, easy-going and respectful gal. Looking for a home rather than a house. Maybe a few housemate dinners and bants here and there. Would love to contribute to a tidy, good vibes place Beginning an Arts degree at UQ this year after several years of working for The Man and gallivanting across the globe. You will generally find me drawing hearts on coffees at QUT. I appreciate the joys of a Zooper Dooper on a Sunday, market friend dates and a good Indian curry. Note - I own more cushions than furniture. I believe the more house plants the better. Food is life. Feel free to message if you have any more questions!
Hey my name is Mel. I'm looking to live with friendly respectable people with similar values - cleanliness, tidy, who can have bills and house up to date, who are social at dinner time, and easy to get along with, and who can equally respect each others own individual time/space. I was born and raised in rural Queensland and had to move out of home at 17 to go to Uni in the city. Since then I've also lived long term in Sydney and recently just return from America so am looking for a place to settle down in for 2017 (a minimum of 6 months). I work full time using my degree and keep myself busy with hobbies like keeping fit, cooking healthy meals, and catching up with my family/friends. I really value my alone time to recharge and get work done along with having a relaxed, comfortable functional welcoming home environment. I'm not big party person. I like to dress up on weekends and drink socially. I’m looking for a spacious room with an ensuite or own bathroom, built in mirrored robe, air-conditioning, powerful wifi, and open windows for natural sunlight into the room. I enjoy a clean, tidy, modern place and prefer an unfurnished room to buy new white furniture, it would be great to be able fit a king bed and desk. I’m looking to live with other friendly independent females. I have no pets. I would be okay to share with a small animal if it's house trained.
I am studying BArts/Journalism at UQ in 2017 but looking to transfer to BPPE in 2018. My hobbies are mainly creative, such as music and writing. If your a producer/musician looking for a roomie then your boy is ideal. I'd like to say I'm funny but so does everyone and I might suck at your niche comedy so you'll have to see. I like my alone time and respectful of others, as well as being a friendly dude.
Hi! My name is Laura. I'm 24, just arrived in Brisbane and looking for a place within the next two weeks. I'm into an active lifestyle. I rarely drink, total homebody. Respectful, tidy and like to keep to myself a lot but also looking to make some friends! Looking for roommates who will be down with me having visitors every now and then as I have just moved from SA. Sorry I'm allergic to cats.
I'm Jess 🎉 I love helping people, socialising and training, however I am extremely independent. I have strong ethics and I have been raised to work hard all my life. I'm energetic, I love looking after people (and myself) and I just love people in general. I work in a cafe in Central and I'm a trainee PT at my gym. I finish my Diploma of Fitness Coaching in October and am studying sports psychology at uni next year. Want to do sport-specific training in the future. I'm also a novice Olympic lifter. I grew up breeding, training and showing dogs (conformation) and I love all pets 😊
