Hey guys, originally from France I have been living in Brisbane for over 8 years now. I just sold my unit and have 30 days to find great flatmates to live with :) A bit about me: I work full time as a professional in the city. I am educated, clean, trustworthy and respectful of others' privacy. Whilst I enjoy socialising, I am generally quiet during the week as I focus on work, working-out and living a healthy positive life. I am into the beach and outdoors, travelling, meeting new people, formula 1 and reading. I am looking to move in with some like minded people who look after their home and are clean and respectful. Lastly a couple of important things, I would like a room with its own aircon and own bathroom and I need access to a locked garage please. I look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Julien PS: I love dogs if that matters :)
Hi, I work full time with the government so i have no issues paying bills and can provide rental referees. Unfortunately the owners of my current place want to renovate and sell so i need to move out, but I can go anytime up until 12th December. Looking for an unfurnished room. Would like to stay just South or West of the city ideally, and would definitely prefer a house. I'm pretty quiet, tidy, usually do my own thing and looking for flatmates who are more or less similar. When i'm not at work I'm usually at the gym, reading or catching up with friends. Definitely not looking for a loud house or anyone who uses drugs. Pet, LGBTI and shift worker friendly :)
Easy going dude, who likes to go out and socialise. I work full time Monday- Friday. Have a girlfriend who I spend a lot of time with. I am tidy and respectful of people’s space. I enjoy friendly banter and a good laugh, happy to help attempt cook. I have a smallish dog who is very cute and protective of her home. Just looking for a house mate or a couple of house mates who are relaxed and keen to have a laugh. Text me if you want to chat about finding a house or have a house you think I’d fit into
Hello, I just got a job at the shopping centre at indooroopilly im a mature woman very quiet, if I'm not working I'll be on my laptop on my days off I'll be going up to bribie island. I have an older Persian cat he is very calm cool and collected. For 25years I was a bond cleaner now in the beauty industry.
Work- laser and skin therapist Study- B Science Interests- Dance, travel, socialising, philosophy, learning new things, science, health, speak intermediate Spanish, beach trips, netball, camping I hope my house mates are open minded people. I'm looking for a place that is furnished in the common areas. I'm also looking for a big bedroom. However, I don't care how old the place is or how old school the kitchen/bathroom is- big wide open spaces is my preference :) I'm not looking for team ups.
I'm a future international student from Malaysia that will be studying at UQ starting from February 2018. I'm clean, likes quiet environment, and pretty fun to live with. I'm not a fan of alcohol, so i'll probably think twice about drinking nights. However, i'm definitely down for movie nights as i'm a huge fan of movies. Looking for a room to stay during my duration of study. I also welcome others to join me together, and look for a place to stay together.
Hey Hey, How's it going? My name is Lea and I'm searching for a place around Toowong, Taringa, Indooroopilly area. I'm a bubbly, friendly and out going guy who needs to find a place closer to work 😄 I enjoy getting out and exploring Brisbane, yet I also enjoy chillin at home with a good movie. I work full time in the fashion/retail industry (and I will be happy to share my discount 😜) and I completely LOVE IT! Hopefully moving on to VM or Buying in the near future! 😄😄 I get along with pretty much everyone so please say hi! You never know... we could be each others future Bestie 😄😄
I’m originally from Brisbane. But I recently moved back from Melbourne after living there for many years. I’m honest, clean and non smoker. Enjoy cooking and all things plants. I recently got a job in Paddington as a florist. I currently have a long commute to work. I would prefer to live as close as possible to save time and fuel. On weekends i love checking out new coffee stops. I’m an easy going person. And I’m looking for the same. Cheers, Millie
I am a quiet, clean and well-mannered person that keeps to himself. I have little possessions and spend most of my time working, sleeping or out. I don't cook often, and if I do it's usually a frozen chicken. I am always out of the house and just need a place to flop that's closer to my work. I work 8pm - 4am. 5 days a week. Meaning I work nights. But don't worry, I am a heavy sleeper. I am ideal for someone that is looking for more of a ghost housemate that just pays rent and sleeps as opposed to being overbearing and controlling. I am LGBT. I love pets. I am not in a relationship. I do not drive, but worship Uber. I work Full time in Kuraby, Brisbane.
I'm a professional working full-time and studying a Bachelor of Science part-time at uni so I am very busy and only at home during the evenings. I'm currently in an awesome share at Clayfield but sadly this is only until the end of November 2017, so I am looking for a female flatmate of similar age who I could potentially share with long-term. I don't have parties or regular visitors, don't drink or smoke, and respect the privacy of those I live with. I'm very fitness-minded so I'm up early and go to bed early, so I don't keep anyone up at night too. If you are looking for a quiet, tidy, mature and reliable flatmate who values a relaxed and peaceful household and you are offering a flexible period of up to 6 months to 1 year to stay in a furnished room (preferably with own bathroom) then please don't hesitate to contact me. (Please note: I am currently not looking to sign on to a lease/take over a lease, apologies.) Looking forward to hearing from you - please feel free to ask any questions if you'd like to know more! Update: I've had quite a few offers recently (thankyou) but please note I am not looking to live with someone who is on the party scene, regular visitors, heavy social drinking etc. Unfortunately my schedule means I have to be particular about my living arrangements. Thanks for your understanding. Update 2: I've had a lot of unfurnished offers but I'm really looking for furnished places so that I can keep my things in storage. Cheers.
I’m 21 years old, currently working part time as a medical receptionist. Im a very clean and outgoing person always up for a good chat and laugh. I am quite until I get to know people. I do have a partner but only looking for places for myself so I do go to his on a weekend. I love Harry Potter and playing crash bandicoot on PS4. I’m looking for a furnished room
Hey I’m Elise 26 year old nurse looking to move back to Brisbane for work.....I’m currently commuting from Toowoomba everyday! I have 2 beautiful Ragdoll cats, that I can’t bare to part with! They’re both house trained but honestly prefer to explore outside during the day. I’m enjoy sport playing and watching. I’m social enjoying a wee bevy when I can but am respectful of personal space.
Hi, me and my boyfriend are looking for a nice apartment to stay for our uni. we are international students, and we would like someone who can afford $250~300 and take an apartment with us. We had a look at Milton and Toowong there are very nice fully furnished new apartment next to the train station and cost $550p/w. So we would pay half and you would pay half, it would cost you less if you are couple too!!:) We are very clean and quiet, not the person that's toooooo friendly that would invade your privacy, but we are still friendly, would definitely keen for a movie night. We are Chinese students btw. email me if you are interested *I know it cost to contact early bird but please do not hesitate, we could save a lot more money living together.
Hello, I'm Rose, and I'm really looking forward to moving to Brisbane from the Tweed area. Working full time at the moment, but I'll be starting study at TAFE South Bank and a part time job (or two) when I move up. The suburbs I've listed are not fixed, but that general area would be fab. I don't know how to make this sound less cliche, but I'm a friendly, healthy, easy-going young adult who probably sits right on the line between introvert and extrovert. Keen to go out, keen to stay in. I'll be looking forward to meeting new friends (hopefully you!) and finding new awesome local places for a drink or two. I also want to join some local communities/Meet Up groups (D&D, a choir, volunteering, environmental, book club, whatever man). What I'm looking for in a place to stay is share accommodation with my own furnished room. I have a car, so I'd LOVE off-street parking, but could make do with on-street if available. I am a clean person, and tend to look after my own mess, but if you would rather have a chore roster I'm cool with that. I expect reasonable cleanliness from my flatmates too. An important thing for me would be ample space in the fridge/freezer/kitchen cupboards as I tend to do my cooking for the rest of the week on the weekend in one big go. I want to feel safe in my place. If there will be strangers around a lot I'll want a lock on my door. I'm cool with parties every now and then, but not every week. Flatmates that like to chat and hang out are a big plus :)
I'm from New York going to be starting my Phd at UQ. I am a very easy to get along with and want to build friendships with my housemates. I love music and the outdoors. Overall pretty cleanly and quiet. Down to explore the city and the music scene!
Three UQ students in last/second last year of Bachelor degree. We are friendly, cleanliness oriented and responsible people. We respect other people's privacy but love to hang out in free time. We are looking for places with at least 3 bedrooms for each of us.
Hey everyone I’m an Australian girl who is looking for a room to rent in Brisbane, I work almost full time so you probably won’t see me around too much but when I’m home I love to cook, and socialise.
I work full time close to the city as a truck driver, I work long hours during the day and go to the gym most nights so I'm rarely home during the week, I also work most Saturdays. I have had my own rental in Carina since moving to Australia 3 years ago, and am super tidy and independent. I'll be putting all my household furniture into storage but would be happy to use in a team up situation. I'm usually out and about on the weekend checking out new eaterys or beach/bushwalks. I'd love the master bedroom or my own bathroom if possible, I also need a small amount of garage space or somewhere secure and out of the weather to park my motorcycle. I'm looking to pay up to $275 including bills.
Hi, I'm looking for private/non share room, near public transport-within 15kms of city only. I currently study business, seeking work in a new city. Feel free to ask any questions. Only coming with 2 bags, from Mildura Victoria. (Price/terms/dates negotiable) Appreciate any offers or responses, thanks ~Mike 😆
Hey, I’m a English female on a working holiday visa which expires at the end of January next year so looking for a place until then. I’m 26 so still like to party but not every weekend, I am a clean freak which can be seen as a good or a bad thing I guess! Ideal night will be watching a box set with a G&T in hand! I am ideally looking for a modern apartment in or close to the city as I will be working by Roma Station. Would prefer an apartment block with a pool and a gym but not a deal breaker. Apartment needs to be fully furnished. I am also an outside smoker so obviously other house mate needs to be comfortable with me smoking outside.
