I'm a bread baker and pastry cook from the United States. I'm traveling to Tasmania on a work holiday visa to learn about bread baking in Australia. I'm a happy-go-lucky person and I try to bring a positive attitude with me wherever I go. I really enjoy getting to know my flatmates and being social, but I also like alone time. I will always do my best to be respectful of others space. I'm not much of a partier so I tend to be a pretty quiet roommate. Some of my favorite hobbies are yoga, running, hiking, gardening and reading. I really enjoy being outdoors and active as much as possible. When I'm home, my favorite thing to do is cook or bake. I really appreciate good communication in housemates. I tend to work really early in the morning and on the weekends, but I try and be very quiet during off hours so I don't disturb anyone.
We're two easy going, fun natured and friends who are looking for a third or fourth roommate that would be interested in joining us in a rental property in mid-late Jan 2020. We both work part-time/casually and are reliable in paying bills on time, and love to hang out but also respect people's alone time. We also have 4 fish...hopefully they are still alive!
Fresh allied health graduate from Melbourne looking for a cosy place and the occasional meal together. I clean up after myself well and can cook a few dishes. I like to do yoga and love music and graphic design. Also looking to join a mixed or female futsal team.
Hello! I'm an environmental science student at UTAS, I have lived in Tassie for 2 years now and have spent both years in shared accomodation, so am not new to co-living. I have a great appreciation for the outdoors and am very active, camping and playing various sports throughout the year. I work multiple jobs during the uni semester and over breaks, making me fairly busy and out of the house most days, but when I am home you'll most likely find me tending to my many houseplants, studying or cooking. I am searching for someone who would be interested in renting a place with myself and a friend, preferably within walking distance from Launceston CBD. We envision ourselves living in an eco friendly household, shared with warm hearted, similarly minded people.
Hello! My dog and I are looking for a place to call home in Launceston early next year. Beth (the dog) is a year old Kelpie x Lab rescue, is house trained, very sweet and loves all things great and small. She and I found each other after I returned home to Australia after 6 years away overseas working and travelling. Now that I am home I will be studying education and teaching. I am a very open minded and accommodating person, I clean up after both my dog and myself, I love gardening and cooking dinner for friends, but mostly you will find Beth and I either outside on a walk/camping or curled up in my room reading/listing to music/drawing/studying. I enjoy a glass of wine and love a good movie night. Last but not least, I certainly respect other peoples privacy.
I am from Brisbane and currently studying at the Australian Maritime College. I am looking for a room for the next 12 months. I own a car but am not concerned about undercover or off street parking. I also have a permanent casual job. I have no dependants or pet but am open to living with either of these. My current lease is up so I am looking to move in as soon as possible
I'm a new optometrist graduate with a range of interests including the great outdoors, classical music and drawing. I'm respectful, clean, generally quiet and adaptable and am looking for a friendly, clean and vibrant place to live! I would love to meet housemates however can respect privacy. :)
My name is Riya and I’m a newly graduated optometrist from Brisbane moving down to Launceston for my first job. I enjoy hiking, reading and listening to and playing music. I am super excited to explore Launceston and the rest of Tasmania! I’ll be working in the city full time. I’m looking for a room in a friendly sharehouse where everyone does their own thing but would be down for the occasional glass of wine or movie night ☺ I start work towards the end of January next year so would probably be looking at moving down mid January.
Easy going, positive energy, happy and bubbly. Tidy and respectful of others space. I do enjoy lots of plants in the house. I am working full time, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. So i'm usually out the door at 8:30am (I walk to work if I can). I am active, love the outdoors and hiking. I enjoy running and yoga in my spare time. On my weekends, i'm out and about adventuring or on a road trip. I love animals, so if you have a pet that’s a bonus ☺️
I’m 20 years old, myself & my partner are looking for a place to stay for the next 6 months untill we find a house we like together, as I’ve not long moved from Burnie. I work at Rosevears hotel as a supervisor on permanent part time. My partner works full time at the saw mill in Exeter. We are both very caring and a mature young couple. Very laid back & easy going. We both work a lot so we barely have time for friends to come over. So guaranteed we make very little noise 😊 thanks.
I am currently employed as a lung function technician and planning to move to Launceston, Tasmania. I am looking for a place that I can call home while I settle in Launceston. I am motivated and hardworking but also enjoy being active and having fun.
Half new in Tassie from Melbourne, I'm friendly, easy going and funny sometimes, addict to travel and learning languages. Looking for sharing a house with someone who works full time early shifts job as well. A little bit of myself, I'm bubbly and sociable, working early shifts in Midland area, so I think I can be best silent potential housemate of the year. :)
