I'm an easy going, hardworking guy that's just about to move to Melbourne to work on a tv show (animation) full time. I like to keep fit with sports, running, rock climbing, etc. I've lived in plenty of share houses and never had any issues with housemates. I always respect boundaries, but also always happy to talk and even offer up some of my cooking. As I'm new here, I'd love to find a place with social, like-minded people in their 20's.
Just moved from th UK to Melbourne to work as a Teacher. I am working as supply at first but hoping to find a more permanent job. Looking to find like minded people who enjoy a glass of proseccco or too, love food and travel 😀
I’m a recently graduated registered nurse looking for a place for me and my small dog , she is timid at first but warms up to the kookiest warm personality. She is house trained, clean, only barks when people are at door so is a bomb door bell and watch dog and does get along with other dogs just can be a bit nervous at first. I’m also house trained, considerate, warm and have house sat for past year so am very used to keeping things in tip top knotch. I’m vegetarian and love all people even more so because of their individualities (religion, sexuality carnivore vs the veganese etc) unless they stubbornly insist chicken is a protein aspect of a vegetarian diet 🙈😂 I’m big into natural remedies and binge watching tv shows and good but oh so bad food and just having a good time overall. I work full time as a Nanny until I start my nursing grad year in February.
Hi, I'm Casey. I'm 19 years-old and a full-time student at ACU studying teaching and arts, majoring in maths and minoring in literature. I work part-time as a waitress on weekends. I moved up from East Gippsland to Melbourne at the beginning of the year in order to study, so a country girl at heart. I'm friendly and love a good chat but I still respect other people's personal space. I'm clean, I know how to cook and I'm not loud. I'm more than happy to help out around the house with cleaning/cooking etc. I'm pretty easy going and enjoy reading in my spare time. Always down for a movie night. I don't drink or smoke, but love a good cup of tea or coffee. Please feel free to contact me anytime :)
what makes me great to live with? well hi my name's Megan, right now I'm doing the design degree in unimelb aiming to be an architect, so I'm gonna be a pretty busy person. I love to read and have a nice cup of tea to chill out a bit, big fan of chocolate, can cook for myself and am willing to do so for others (my boyfriend says I'm alright). Other than that I'm quiet, easy-going and am willing to listen and get along with everyone whose around. For the last two years after I finished high school, I took a gap year and worked in a medical clinic before going to Japan for skiing which was great fun. As for this year, I've been living with a roommate in uni lodge while studying and working during the holidays. So, I hope to find a new place to live and get to know some more great people.
Mathematics student from NSW looking for temporary summer accommodation while I undertake a summer scholarship program/internship in Melbourne city for 6 weeks from January 2018. I'm seeking a nicely furnished room with ensuite or own bathroom in a shared house with up to 3 females. I'm looking for a homely environment as opposed to a party house. I'm enthusiastic, energetic and friendly. I like to think that I'm clean and tidy, but I can't really prove that on the internet. I love relaxing at home on the weekends (with the internet) but I'm also excited to explore much of what Melbourne has to offer (like a tourist) since I'm interstate. I generally keep to myself but I'm also up for chats and for going to the movies with friends. I respect other people's privacy as I love my alone time. I also have severe food allergies to many foods, so I would prefer to have roommates who understand and know how to handle that, but this is not necessary. It basically means that I'll be cooking most nights, use my own cutlery/cooking utensils/pans/cleaning supplies/toiletries at all times and that I'll be cleaning my own dishes even in the morning after breakfast before work. Please message me for more details if you are interested. I can start renting from middle of December onward, but I would prefer to start renting a room from 27th December 2017.
Hey y'all, just your average guy currently looking for a room/house to move into. I work full time while also working within the creative industry. Clean and tidy and also not opposed to a good parma on a night out but also value alone time. There's definitely more but it's already awkward attempting to talk about myself on this thing. Anyway, if you've reached this far and I sound remotely interesting enough to move, get in touch :)
A single, 31 year old male; I am looking to move back to the mainland for work after a couple of years spent in Tasmania. I am very resourceful, rent/bills aren't an issue, and am a mature, clean, quiet and agreeable housemate, able to get along with just about anyone. I'm happy to consider anywhere near a train station in Melbourne's East.
Positive, outgoing and honest. Clean, courteous and respectful of others' space. I'm pretty social, enjoy wine, dance, dining, yoga and exploring Melbourne but also appreciate downtime and having a peaceful space to kick off the trainers, relax and watch a little Netflix. From the States, work in Sales and host trivia for fun. Big time animal lover! Flexible with length of stay but ideally would love to find a flatmate or two I hit it off with and stay the duration of my visa. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hey, I'm Jules! I'm in the market for a new sharehouse to join now that I'm moving to Melbourne from Adelaide. I've been in sharehouses since I was 19 and am a very reliable and respectful houso. I can respect people's space when they need it but I'm also always up for a chat/movie/beer/wine with whoever's around :) A bit about me: - 25 yrs old - I'm currently completing my Masters in Primary Education - I'm very friendly, outgoing, love to socialise, and have a good sense of humour - I love to paint, draw, read, listen to music, and spend as much time outside as I can - I'm pretty active, and love cycling and kickboxing - I'm (very slowly haha) learning to play ukulele and guitar in my spare time - love the beach and going out to gigs If you think you've got a Jules-sized gap in your house that needs filling, drop me a line!
Hey! I'm Céline, 29, from Belgium, looking for a place to stay in Mebourne for a couple of weeks :) From 4/12-26/12. A place I can call a home , someone who love cooking , love the gym and don’t mind a lil gossip once in while 😉 and someone who can hold a conversation and also can clean after themselves and very organised. So with all been said I would like a place around Bundoora area. So If you think I fit with your listing then Feel free to message me.
I am looking for a long term place I can call home! I am 24 years old and working full time in South Melbourne so hoping to move somewhere thats only a short walk or tram ride away from here. I work Mon-Fri and like to get and about on the weekend, I love to come home to a social house but also appreciate some downtime with Netflix! I like to have a wine after work and on the weekends but don't want to live in a house that hosts parties every weekend. Im responsible with bills and tidy up after myself, I would be happy to go on a lease if needed. Also happy to move earlier for the right place.
Hi There, I am Bianca and I'm 25 years old. I'm employed full time and work in the city Monday to Friday. Looking to move in with a great housemate(s) next year. Quite happy to have a chat with you but will also respect your privacy. I have lived with shift workers so I understand it's important to be quiet while you rest. I am a quiet person, no parties but would have a friend visit on weekends possibly before heading out. I do have a dog, a 2 year old greyhound. These are lazy clean dogs, she will be no bother to you. She gets along great with other dogs so if you have one shed love a friend. Happy to live anywhere close to public transport as I commute to work. I do drive a car. Thanks for reading.
Hi, I´m a german student who will study for one semester at the RMIT. I would love to cook german Schnitzel once in a while for you or to be your sports partner. Currently i´m studying electrical engeneering in Germany. I want to find a nice furnished shared flat to get in touch with locales or other internationales and just enjoy my semester abroad. I´d like to hear from you.
Kiwi moving from NZ to Melbourne (Jan 17th) for my next career move, ambitious, genuine, kind hearted, friendly, love sports, passion for music, foodie, super clean, organised and love meeting new people. Am looking for a place in the listed areas (preferably right in the city, therefore I get use to my surroundings), fully furnished with own bathroom and love animals so don't mind at all.
I'm looking for a place close to central Melbourne. I'm busy most of the time but would love to catch up with flatmates sometimes. Furnished or semi furnished room would be great. Cheers
I'm a 28 year old Kiwi who has lived in Melbourne for 5 years. I'm looking for a place around Boroondara that is fairly social (but also happy to give a bit of space), with like-minded people. I work full-time as a Web Developer, close to Camberwell Junction. In my spare time I like to swim, go for big bike rides, work out with friends (gym and martial arts), play some guitar, and work on some side projects. Not a massive drinker but also not opposed to a some bevs occasionally. Non-smoker. I've lived away from home for 10 years, so I've learnt to be a good housemate, pay bills on time, pull my weight around the house, etc :)
I'm a student at Uni Melb and I'm looking for a place to move in near the Parkville Campus. During the week I'm mostly going to be at Uni throughout the day. Weekends, I'd like to roam the city if I'm not caught up in assignments. I can cook, love to share a few conversations over beer, coffee (beverage of your choice really), and usually like to sleep a lot. I own a pair of headphones to keep my eclectic preferences in music to myself. I'm looking to move in around the end of Jan but I'm flexible by a week or two.
I'm a single non-smoking health professional who works regular full time hours M-F in the public hospital system. I'm looking for an unfurnished room with some natural light in the inner northern suburbs, on a long term (indefinite) basis. I also need somewhere with capacity for parking during business hours (street parking eg with permit is fine). I'm happy to sign on to a lease. My job involves working with people, so I prefer a relaxed and peaceful space to come home to during the week. I am independent and like my own space, but like to be able to have a chat about the world with my housemates as well, when we're both up for it. My version of socialising with friends tends to be long chats with cups of tea - I'm not a loud party person. I'm usually out a couple of nights a week, and like to find interesting things to do on the weekend. I'm house-trained, socially conscious and respectful of others and their space/possessions, clean but not obsessively so. I always pay rent/bills on time, am not tight with money, and enjoy sharing the occasional meal/drink/outing with housemates, in or out. I'm an omnivore but don't eat huge amounts of meat. If there's a cat already in residence, that's a bonus (not a dog person). My hobbies/interests include barbershop/a cappella singing (I generally practice out of the house or when home alone, so not too intrusive), personal development, musical theatre, good food and wine, linguistics and languages, foreign films, hiking and running (sporadically). I like finding interesting cultural events to go to around town, and am happy to do this alone or with others. I don’t really watch TV day to day (ads and sensationalist news drive me nuts), but will happily binge watch a series, which could be either high quality or utter trash.
