I am looking for a room to live in while doing my exchange semester at the Victoria University. I am originally from Germany and studying sports at the German Sports University Cologne. I will fly over to Australia on February the 18th. Right now I am living in a flat-share with a boy and a girl, so I am very used to sharing the kitchen and the bathroom. I know how to do my cleaning duties and I will do my very best to keep the shared rooms clean and tidy. I like to have a nice little chat, a tea, some wine, a beer or a dinner together in the evening, but I also like to have some privacy, that is why i would prefer a personal room. In my freetime I like to do almost any kind of sports, especially football, running and climbing and I love to spend time outside the house, like going for a walk or having a coffe. I would describe myself as a curious, communicative and open minded person. Looking forward for your message! Vicky

Hi everyone! My name is Olivia and I am from the west coast of the US. I will be moving to Melbourne at the end of March on a Working Holiday Visa. I will be working at the University of Melbourne conducting neuroscience research and looking to pick up a part-time job on the side. I am tidy, relaxed and very easy going and would love a house/flat that feels like home - one that has a good vibe where both quiet and loud nights are welcome. I can cook and clean and love listening to music when I do. I enjoy good food, good beer, and a good run to counter the two. Looking to team up or find a single/double room in a share house, preferably one that is close to Uni. Please reach out if you feel like I would be a good fit and I would be happy to share more about me.
I'm really easy going, bright and bubbly personality. Love making new friends. Neat and tidy. I work as a delivery driver and working at different warehouses. I'm from Melbourne so im a local. I love to go out with friends for dinner, coffee.
We are from Pune, India and married for 2 years now. We are planning to come to Australia on 12th of March 2017. But before we make the full transition, we would like to test the waters a little bit. We are planning to live in Melbourne for 6 months to a year to see if we get the jobs we are after and the things we want our future to root into. I am a software developer by profession and Rupal is a French Language Trainer. We are both looking for jobs in Australia currently. We are vegetarians, non-smokers and have no children. We are happy go lucky couple who believe in 'Live and let live'. Looking forward to finding good flatmates :)
Hi! I'm Stace, just turned 26. I work full time as a retail manager. I've only been living in Melbourne for just over 4 months (originally from Brissy if there's anything follow Queenslanders out there) so I'm hoping to live somewhere where I can possibly make some new friends out of it! I love live music and a cheeky bev (or six) on a school night.
G'day! I am Bram (25 yo) from The Netherlands. My story in short: After finishing my Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering last summer I found it too obvious and not really adventurous to start my working career in The Netherlands. Let's try it 17,000 kilometers away: Straya! During my studies the past 7 years I have always lived in social shared student houses in both The Netherlands and the US (did a part of my degree in the US). I really like the social thing about living together, so I would prefer to live in a social vibrant shared house. I am entering Australia on a working holiday visa, however my goal is to stay here for a couple years and find a sponsorship for an engineering job. Although I know everyone is describing themselves with the same keywords I am still gonna do it ;). I am easy going, I feel myself most comfortable in social surroundings, I have a work to live mentality and I have a lot of diverse interests. About my interests: I am a football addict, the round ball version to be clear. Furthermore, I like to go to music festivals. Hooroo!
We both are respectful people. We came here to learn English, so this we would like to get to know people from different countries and cultures. We are very friendly and tranquil people, and last but not less important very responsible.
Irish guy moving to Melbourne. Very easy going and clean. Outgoing, so normally not in the house too much, love meeting new people and I have never had any issues with prior room mates, I can give you contact info for them, if you would like to talk to them directly for their perspective. I love cooking (for myself and others) and I am very approachable if you do have anything you need to say. Moving to a new city, open to meeting anyone! Feel free to get in touch

Hi, I'm Chris. I'm 26 and I'll be coming down from Sydney for around 3 months from the end of March to June. I'm looking for a furnished room, reasonably close to the city. I'm super clean, always tidy up after myself, and love having a chat over a drink or two but I also like to spend time doing my own thing. Much of my time would be spent at work (in retail) or exploring the city and it's sights. I'm not a smoker and won't be bringing any pets with me. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions :)
G'day! My name is Hans, and I'm 21 year-old viking from Denmark who's very interested in finding a place. I've been having fun in Melbourne for about 3 months now and I'm loving it here! I work as a waiter/bartender at Riverland Bar. I'm very open to meeting new people and love going out to see awesome stuff, everything from hiking and biking to concerts or festivals. Additionally, i speak fluent banter. I've lived abroad in Singapore for 8 months and stayed in hostels around Asia for another 9 months, so I definitely know the importance of respecting privacy and cleanliness. These trips abroad have made me quite mature for my age as well. Anyway, I'd love to meet up for a chat or go for an inspection, i'm sure it'll be great! See you soon Hans

I'm a really calm and laid back person but I'm also a really responsible and clean person. I'm pretty good with any housework and fixing up different things. I'm planning on getting an 4x4 SUV to go on trip every now and then. I just arrived in Australia after almost 5 years in the States where I got my Bachelors (in Texas). I'm looking for a private room. As I mentioned- I'm really calm and quiet, won't thorw any parties or have too many friends over, but I like to go out every now and then, at home I usually do some work on my laptop or nap. I'm also an athlete (playing american football) so going to the gym and healthy lifestyle is a big part of my every day routine. I'm really a non-conflict guy and I'm super easy to get along with:) Need to know anything else- message me:)
G'day legends, I'm looking for a place to live in Melbourne whilst doing postgraduate work, as well as chill out and pursue creative interests! I am currently in Brisbane, QLD but I will be starting to study full time at Monash University by the 20th of February doing a Graduate Diploma in Reproductive Science, and I'm looking for people who I can study as well as chill out with, who are hopefully also clean, conscientious and respectful of one another. I get around having a pint at the pub, a boogie at a bar or festival, and of course hanging out at home. I will be looking for part/full time work once I move down. I'm a big fan of house, disco and techno music especially the Boiler Room series, film and design. Check it out!

Hi, My name ist Matthias and I am a 24-year old student from Germany. I'm searching for a room to stay in from 7 April until the end of August this year. I will be doing research on my master's thesis in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Melbourne. My hobbies include running, skiing, volleyball and I also would like to learn some new sports as well as see as much of Australia as possible! However, I am looking forward to communicating and engaging in activities with my potential flatmates! If you want to rent your room starting at the 1 April, I would be okay with it! I'm looking forward to hearing from You! Yours sincerely, Matthias Schoepplein
A little bit about me: I work in HR for a public health provider, I'm originally from the outer east of Melbourne and I equally enjoy staying in for the night or going out for a few frosties I'm easy to live with and a really low maintenance person. Have been living with a couple in Abbotsford for the past year and have loved it, would be more than happy to live with any mix of people though.
I'm very open-minded, easy-going and uncomplicated. I love to cook 👨🍳 Since I have a job in Melbourne I can definitely pay the weekly rent. Furthermore I'm very respectful and a tidy person.
Hi lovely people, We are a couple in our *cough* 40s, who masquerade as adults during the day and like to watch horror movies, go to gigs and generally pretend we're still in our 20s after school hours. We have been together forever, living in separate countries (NZ, Europe and OZ), but are (much to the relief of our friends) finally getting married in May and have decided to settle in Melbourne permanently. We are very tidy and considerate, I work full time and he arrives on Friday. We are very social, but not party animals and enjoy meeting new people. I'm very familiar with Melbourne, whilst he's still learning where everything is. We own a car and would like a carpark if possible, but on street parking is fine as long as it has a permit. We would prefer to move this weekend, we have a lease in St Kilda which begins at the end of April, so we are looking for a place to stay until April 22nd which is close to the city.
We are both 24 years old from the UK and we both be working full time. I am a working professional and my boyfriend works in the construction industry. Sane and stable guy who comes with all of the furniture and none of the drama! Ideally looking to begin a new share-house - or join one if it looks ideal. Professionally full time employed - and lead a busy lifestyle. A little bit too old for the full time party house - but don't mind a few drinks of the evening and a get together every now and again. Responsible enough to pay bills on time, and prefer nice & clean, good quality and good location accommodation. If the household goes alright - looking for 12 months plus!

Hey! My name is Anja, I’m 22 and I’m looking for a room in a house/flat asap as per now I'm just extending and extending my stay at a hostel, and I'm not too keen on spending my semester here. My price range is preferably up to about $250 pw + bills, though I’m able to pay more as well. I’m also able to pay bond, and I'm reliable with rent. I’m looking for a place to call home whilst in Melbourne and would also like to hang out with you / cook dinner together / go out every once in a while if you're up for that. I’m not a heavy partyer, but I do like the occasional party. I have experience from shared living spaces and will happily take part in chores around the house/flat. I actually like vacuum cleaning and emptying the dishwasher / doing the dishes, so I’m happy to contribute extra with this :) Some more info about me: I’m from Norway and I usually study chemistry there, but I’m finishing my bachelor’s degree at the University of Melbourne this semester. I’m preferably looking for a furnished room, though unfurnished may also be alright. I’d like to rent a room until late June or sometime in July (whenever works for you). I love animals, music and travelling, and I’m a vegetarian (but it won’t be a problem for you). I obviously don’t have any household items to bring into a sharehouse, but I will happily buy / chip in for anything needed!
Hey, Looking for a private room, furnished or unfurnished is fine. I've just moved here from Sydney, I work full time in the city. I'm a friendly, happy person. Very clean, and pay bills on time!
Hi there, I'm Amy - 24 years old and from Melbourne. I work full-time in publishing, and keep the standard 9-5 office hours. I just finished my Masters and am looking to move closer to the city to fully enjoy the benefits of not having to study on the weekend. I'm a big culture fan - books, films, TV, music, gigs etc etc - and love nothing more than a chat over beersand some cheese with good tunes and nice people. I'm sociable and friendly but also really dig my alone-time and am respectful of other peoples schedules and needs. I like going out just as much as binge watching The West Wing. I can guarantee I'll be house-proud and am great when it comes to washing up and contributing the household in any way I can. LGBTIQ+ friendly, non-smoker, animal lover, proud owner of both Netflix and Stan, come with plenty of kitchenware and a couch (that don't necessarily have to come with me just yet), ready to move in whenever and looking to hang around for at least six months.

Hi there! I'm looking for a new share house to move into :) I am a 21 year old student studying a Bachelor of Science with a major in Pathology, at the University of Melbourne. I hope to pursue a career in forensic science one day. I have 3 part time jobs; one at a bakery, one at a creperie at unimelb, and I also work as a barista in Emporium. When I'm not studying or working, I like exploring local cafes, restaurants and bars, catching up with friends, cooking and watching various tv shows (true crime docos are my fave). I'm fairly independent but I'm always up for a meal/a few drinks with housemates. I have previous share house experience and I'm very reliable and organised. I always pay rent on time, if not early, and I value cleanliness in the house. I'm hoping to find somewhere closeish to shops so I can ride my bicycle, and not too far from the city so I don't spend too much time on public transport, as I don't drive. I am travelling to India and Nepal in February and so I am looking to find a place to move into when I get back, however my move-in date is flexible. If you have a room available that sounds like what I'm looking for and if you think I'd fit in with your household, please feel free to message me :)
Hello Melbourne peeps I'm Sarah 27 from the uk I'm a beauty therapist. Ive been travelling for the last 3 years so i understand and respect the fact people like their own privacy and space but want to be able to at least catch up over a beer or 3 at some point. I have a lot of friends here so i will be out at weekends enjoying the last of the summer rays - until winter comes and i hibernate in my room smashing out a new box set of some sort. Hi there, my name’s Angie. I'm 25, working full time, and looking to move closer to work. I’m a high school teacher, so I promise we'll never run out of stationery (I hope you like stickers!). I'm very sociable, but also value my personal space and time, and ideally, I’d like to live with someone who feels the same, and would be up for the occasional coffee or Netflix binge with wine. I am a self confessed nerd, and love movies, books and games, I come with a PlayStation, and maybe a few board games. I am not opposed to pets and especially love cats. I'm a non-smoker, and I train at a gym about 5 times a week. Please feel free to message me if you think we’d get along!
I'm neat and tidy and easy to live with. I'm fairly social and don't spent too much time at home but love a chat/wine with the flatmates! Looking for some lovely chill people who don't mind being the taste-testers for my baking experiments :-)
I currently have undertaken studies to become a youth worker, and am looking for part time work and I've had to depart from my full time job. I can talk your ears off but do also enjoy some alone time to clear my mind. I currently live in Werribee and have lived in Melbourne all my life, so I'm not stranger to how we melbournians live. I play sports in the summer and looking to return back to football this season, and I'm also an ex professional gamer! I enjoy a drink and a great laugh!
