Is your home a place that feels wonderful, is an amazing sanctuary and lights you up? Do you have a spare space calling for a loving, creative, grounded and balanced being to inhabit it? Hi, I'm Jen. I'm 36 and I enjoy my work as manager of a local art studio, alongside building my own business, which I'm currently studying for as well. Last year I returned to my home town of Newcastle after over a decade away of job pursuits and I'm happy to be back and closer to friends, family and the beach. I'm caring, empathetic, motivated, logical and got my feet firmly on the ground! Apart from all the usual 'fully house trained' stuff (even considered a bit of a handy-woman!), I come with a fur child. Elkie is my 14yr old, indoor female tabby cat. She's super chilled, doesn't wander very far, spends most of her time sleeping on my bed and loves a good chat. She's not a huge fan of other animals, so I'm not really keen to subject her to that when it can stress her out, but she has been known to tolerate dogs to a certain extent. Elkie will win a place in your heart, I promise, so folks that are ‘cat people’ and would be keen to give her some love from time to time are what I’m calling in! I’ve been situated close to Glenrock reserve and the beach since my return and it’s my happy place – bush and beach! So preference would definitely swing towards that area, but open to anywhere that has some tree's in view. I travel a bit with my course work, I love to make art and be creative and I treat all those in my world with respect, honesty and openness. My wish list - A home that is surrounded by leafy greens and trees - A medium to large room that is quiet and safe for me and Elkie - Loads of natural light and air flow - Bath and air con are luxury items I would thank the stars for! - Space for my art studio/office set up (perhaps you have a windowed garage or shed, or a sunroom I could use?) - Storage for my camping stuff, bits and pieces (I have a full house set up in storage that can or can’t be used as needed) - Kitchen that is spacious enough to create in - Spacious living area’s that allow everyone to have the space they need - No more than a 30min drive from Wallsend would be preferred and close to a bush walk and/or water source would be magic! There are so many different types of properties, homes, families and living arrangements out there, so if any of this has kept you reading so far and you've got something that might suit, I'd love to hear from you. I know the perfect sanctuary exists! I look forward to meeting you.
I'm a very conscious minded person and I think that is a huge part of living with other people. Always have a good standard of cleanliness and I enjoy having a routine, but not to the extent of being a pain. Super easy going! I workout daily and maintain a healthy lifestyle, and enjoy having a brew when the time is right. I own gardening equipment so if lawn maintenance etc. is needed, I'm your man. Starting a little late but I'm very keen to move to Newy to start some study as I've only worked since school, and to be around more friends (keen for you to meet them).
Greetings. I am a friendly and sociable guy with a laid back attitude. I enjoy the beach, hockey, paintball and going out and meeting new people. I'm very clean and respectful of others property. I like to think I have a great sense of humour xD I was living in Newcastle for four years back in 2012 before moving to Melbourne. I am currently working but I'm keen on moving back to Newcastle to be closer to family and friends.

Oversea student studying international business at the University of Newcastle, quiet but friendly, tidy, and pretty excited about every fresh and interesting thing around her. She doesn't smoke, not a home party person, but love the outdoor activities, also food gathering activities, that make her full of passion. She loves animals, she loves the blue sky and fresh air also she has an OK healthy life. She loves photograph, love music, believing life needs to be explored. I am this she.
We are both easy going respectful people who are looking to move with some people who we be able to call a friend and not just a roommate so our living environment is more home like. We both work so are reliable when it comes round the bills time. We love the outdoors, football and cars. We are ready to move when we find a good place or nice set of people to find a place with.
Hey guys. Im moving down to Newcastle from Taree to start studying at university while also working part time. I currently live with my father who is a chef so he's not very often in the house leaving me to fend for myself. This has left me a very easy person to live with as I'm clean, enjoy my time to myself but also love being sociable with my housemates. I regularly housesit so I've gotten the gist of living out of home and what it includes AKA doing your own washing, cleaning etc. I would love a housemate/housemates that enjoy personal space but also love to socialise with the house and enjoy a laugh or a movie. My life has had a strong part in sport as well so i could be travelling home to play so I could be away some weekends not only to play sport but to visit my family. I have a friend who I would love to move out with and possibly a third if place arrises but if not moving out by myself will have to be the go. Please message me if you can help .. p.s warm and lovely people to live with is a must as its my first time moving away from home and it is quite daunting.

Hi! My name is Sarah, I am a property manager and I do some part time baristaing on the side. When I'm not back and forth between my jobs, I am studying full time online. My 18 month old rescue pupper Harlow and I are looking for an awesome flat mate to share a house with in any of the Newcastle areas. We are tidy and easy to get along with. Harlow is a little timid at first but she quickly warms up to everyone and loves a cuddle on the lounge and exploring outdoors. I am currently in a share house however the owners are selling and we have to move with little notice. The most important thing for us is to have someone who likes dogs and is easy going. I have a good rental history and we are very respectful of your space and only require the same from you, however we are also very happy to hang out, share a drink, stories or watch a movie!
I'm a pretty relaxed kinda gal. I enjoy staying active and healthy but also love down time with the tv and a pizza. I'm a signwriter by trade and studying online. I have my own little side hustle that keeps me busy designing. Respectful and clean.
Looking for somewhere in Newcastle/Lake Macquarie that is pet friendly. Prefer to find a house with like minded females who are of similar age. I also have a a heap of furniture, lounge, dining table, coffee table, dryer, washing machine, lawn mower and whipper snipper etc. I work full time, very reliable, loves a clean house & pays all bills before there due date! :) About the dog: I have a 3 year old medium size staffy cross who is super friendly and lovable, he has never destroyed or damaged anything and he is available for cuddles anytime you need. Only interested in a place where dogs are allowed inside the house, I like to bring my dog in when I’m home and on cold nights. Prefer to find a house with like minded females who are of similar age.

Hello! I'm a 25 year old female PhD student at the University of Newcastle, working at HMRI/John Hunter Hospital. I love to cook and appreciate cleanliness. I'm currently living at home and looking to move out. Ideally, it would be in a house of people with whom i could be friends. I will be in Newcastle for the foreseeable future so longer term stays would be preferable. I have a scholarship until march 2019 so reasonable rent isn't an issue. I'm looking to spend $200pw (including bills and internet) absolute maximum and preferably with a private bathroom but not a necessity. I have a car so somewhere to park would also be ideal. I'm not a party person, a chill night with wine, cheese and netflix suits me fine and I'm happy to keep to myself. I'm a feminist and environmentally conscious so I would prefer to live with similarlly minded people. If I sound like someone you might want to rent a room to (or you have a property in which I could live), please message me!
Hi, I'm Hugh - I've just finished an engineering degree in Sydney and am about to start a new job near Newcastle with a veterinary pharmaceutical company. Far from being a big pharma sellout, I like to think that my job will be helping to cure sick puppies and kittens, so that's the (mostly true!) story that I've been using. I've been renting share houses since I started uni, thought about saving for my own place but realised I like avocado on toast way too much. On the plus side, I know the basics of how to adult and survive communal living. I'm capable in the kitchen and like to cook for people so think I would really get along in a household which appreciates nice food. I'm also a keen salsa dancer who has been taking lessons for about six months, and terrible at surfing but always looking to get better. For now, I'm just looking for a place to stay for a couple of months until I find my feet in a new city, but definitely open to staying longer if I find the right place. If you think that we'd get along, send me a message or give me a call!
