Friends call me Kichu. I'm moving to Australia from India for my PG @ ANU on Feb 1, 2018. I like to sing, percuss and read. I am a good teacher and can talk about science, technology and Indian music for all day long. I love pets even though I don't have any. I play CoD and CSGo. I'm a GoT BBT fanboy.
I am a university student in my final year of study at the ANU. I work part time in Belconnen so I am pretty busy throughout the week and on weekends I am usually stuck in the books with assignments and study. However, I try to still be a social person by getting outside and exercising or catching up with a few mates. I am a very tidy person and I am respectful of other peoples space and would expect that in return. I am looking to find some easy going people that don't mind having a beer in a place that is close to either work or uni. If you would like to know anything more about me just flick me a message. Cheers
21 y/o law student from mandurah, will be moving over to Canberra around the late Jan/early Feb mark for my bachelors at anu, lived in Canberra before in 2016 for about a year (in a share house), then went back for my job, I've decided this time to pick up where I left off, aiming to finish it asap really. I'm a very tidy, sociable and dramafree person, well aware of all the house rules, I clean up every single time after mtselfn. I'd think respect and trust are a must when it comes to house sharing, I always make sure that's well established between my flatmates and meself. During study or work time, I'll keep my head down and work hard, when I'm not, I'd be more than happy to join in for a sophisticated convo, you definitely get to see my story telling skills! I love animals, music, photography, travelling the world, don't smoke, drink socially. I don't have a pet but absolutely don't mind if you have one. I'm hoping to find open minded and like minded people, I'm sure we'll get along well! Feel free to shout me a msg, Cheers guys!
Public servant moving from Sydney role to position in the ACT. Looking for initial short stay around 6 months while establishing myself in the new role
Two easy going guys who are both really friendly and easy to get along with. We're keen to get to know our housemates but will also respect your personal space. Keen to make the most of our time in Canberra. Will be home in the evenings and most weekends. Both of us start training pretty early mornings and get home quite late in the afternoon. One of us is a great chef.
I am a 25 year old Exercise Physiologist moving back to Canberra after living on the South Coast for 2 years. I am a clean, tidy and respectful person who likes to be a mixture of being: - active: gym, pilates, swimming and have just taken up rock climbing - being social: exploring all of the food, wine and coffee Canberra has to offer - and chilling out I'm laid back, easy going and will promise to pay my rent/ bills! If you want to know anything else- please ask!
I'm very friendly and easy going, clean and independent, and love exercising and doing outdoor activities. I'm a UC student, looking for a room to stay from Feburary until December 2018 :)
My name is Michael. I'm 19 and have recently finished high school. I mostly do self study online with casual work at Kmart and Deliveroo. I'm pretty quiet and tend to keep to myself but I do enjoy good company and like going out on occasion. Most times you will find my at my computer either studying, working or playing games. My cooking skill is unfortunately limited to eggs, toast and instant/ canned food but I am willing to help around the kitchen.
I'm willing to consider anywhere in Canberra, especially north side. I love movies and Netflix and reading, and I enjoy chatting, tv and meeting people. I love good food and I'm curious about almost everything. I've traveled a lot, living and working overseas. I've also worked with languages, as a carer, in big business, and in greenhouses. I've lived in many share houses over time. I'm working on polishing my story ready for publishing. I have recently come to Canberra to be closer to my daughter. I might have more years behind me, but that doesn't make me older. I'm very friendly, quiet, flexible and easy going.
Hi, My name is Melanie and I work full-time in the PS and study part-time. I am looking for a share house North side. I am super clean, tidy and away most weekends at my own house interstate. A bathroom would be great but can share as required. I have a very small dog and would like to find a place for him too. He is clean, small and very cute and travels with me on the weekends. I am interested in health and fitness and train most days both gym and classes. I am able to share house cleaning and like to have a chat. I have lived all over the world and am social, I also study so go the library at uni finishing assignments towards the end of term. If you have a room suitable please drop me a line. Thank you.
I'm an easy going tradie. Early riser to take my female Husky for morning walks. Outdoorsy kinda guy with a 4x4 Ute and a dirt bike. I can cook alright, keep to myself mostly, but like a good social drink and or a chat. Keep a clean room, but can put up with a bit for clutter. Love to try learn new things, and will also be getting back in to the gym once settled. Looking for a place for a minimum of 6 months for my pup and I.
I’m a 23 year old South African, from Johannesburg. Been in Australia for 4 years studying a bachelor of law at UC. I’ve live in shared student accommodation so I’m respectful of people’s space, clean up after myself and always up for socialising. Ideally I would like to move into a place that has an already furnished room but if it's not, that's okay :-)
Hi! My name is Elly and I am looking to move to Canberra in late January/ early February as I am attending ANU next semester to study biological anthropology. Hello! I am a young professional in my late twenties. I am often described as thoughtful, playful, and tolerant by those who know me. I consider myself very tidy, clean, and respectful. I am looking to share a house/flat of mixed gender, ideally with other professionals, but students are fine too. Preferably 3-4 people (including myself). I love animals, so pets are not a problem. (That said, I do not have any pets of my own and won't be bringing or acquiring any). I love good food, outdoors, exploring new places, trying new things, exercise and lead an active lifestyle. Well maybe not as much as those who live in lycra and compete in sports... but I do enjoy the fresh air. I also enjoy being a home body, and would be happy curled up on the couch with a glass of red, playing board games with whomever is up for a chat. I am a clean and organised person, but I don't go nuts with cleaning rosters. I believe we're all capable of pitching in with the cleaning when needed and when it's not inconvenient to do so. That said, I'd prefer not to live in a pig sty. If I sound like the right flatmate to you, shoot me a message, introducing yourself and the other tenants. Thanks! P.S. I do want to be part of a home and get to know you all, not just living with flat mates, however I have a preference to do my own cooking. Happy to participate in house dinners every now and then, especially the spontaneous ones, but I don't want to be committed to three different dinners cooked by three different people each week. My cap for shared dinners is probably once a week i.e. someone different takes a turn to cook every Tuesday, rather than three different people cooking three different days in the same week. P.P.S. I cannot live without a dishwasher. They are the best thing ever invented and I will use it religiously. Criteria: - Built in Robes (with lots of hanging space and shelves). This is non-negotiable. - Room that can fit a Queen Bed, side table, lots of other boxes/things etc. this is non negotiable too. - Car port/ undercover parking with automatic doors (highly preferable, but could be overlooked if everything else was perfect) - En suite (preferable, but not a must. Happy to share a bathroom with one other, but no more). - Lots of storage space (inside the house - not a storage cage) - Dishwasher - Housemates that are not hermits - Age of household: 25-35. Ideally, I would like to live with people who are around my age, and are social. - I do not want to live with infants, young children, or a family/home stay style arrangement. - I do not want to live in Gunghalin, Dunlop, Harrison, or Crace - sorry, it’s just too far from work.
Hi my name is Sheridan, I am 20 years old going into my third year of university and work part time at a horse riding centre as a junior coach. Previously living with four others on student residents, I'm looking to move off campus and find a nice place with some new faces. I am quiet, considerate and tidy. I am not a big party goer but won't say no to a glass of wine and a chat.
I work full time for Federal Government and I've been in Canberra since Feb 2017. I am single, I stick to my room and am a considerate, and clean housemate. I'm a musician and a gamer, however I won't play music loudly unless you're not home. I am a Vegan (but I won't judge your lifestyle). I have the most beautiful, gentle and sweet adult cat, who is impeccably trained and thus is easy to live with. I also have a 9 month old kitten, who is a total sweetheart. I keep a tidy home. I love coffee and do enjoy a drink, but I don't host any parties. I'm serious about having a place with good internet, air conditioning and heating. Importantly, I'm willing to do all the ground work to find a pet friendly house that isn't too far from Civic. Ideally I am looking for a housemate that is around my own age or older. If you feel like we'd work as housemates, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Hello everyone. I'm a Melburnian moving up to Canberra in 2018 to work full time. I'm very friendly, social, tidy, funny and respectful, also fairly introverted. Appreciate cleanliness (!!), privacy and environments with positive vibes. Looking for housemates that are easy-going and fun. Hobbies include tennis, travelling, fun adventures with friends, coffees, food outings, games, anything technology related.
Hey, my name is Rachel and I'm wanting to find a room, preferably in the city, Bruce or the Belconnen area. I'm from Newcastle, but moved at the beginning of last year to study Law at Canberra university. I work as a waitress in the city and play league tag on the weekend. I'm clean and tidy, I've lived in a share house before so I know how to be respectful to others in the house. I'm also very friendly, outgoing and easy to get along with. I'm looking for a house where we all get along and enjoy spending time together having a chat, watching TV, or having the occasional dinner together, but I also like to have my own time and space and would give my housemates the same. I would like an easy going, friendly household, preferably girls in their 20s who are fun, outgoing, and who would even like to do things like going out together, going on adventures, to the gym or out to lunch. If this sounds good, send me a message to see if we get along :)
