Hey guys, I am Saskia from Dresden, Germany. Back home I am studying environmental engineering. I will be in Canberra for 3 months doing a research internship at UC. To make the best of it, I am looking for a place with a spare room (preferably furnished) near my working place. It would be great to have communicative people around me who are as open to sports and activities as I am. Just a few things I like: bouldering yoga snowboarding hiking cats partys photography and art of any kind gardening and plants cooking, preferably vegetarian During the past years I have gained a lot of experience in shared flats in Germany and Canada. I am a respectful and clean housemate and can totally understand if someone is busy or want to have one's peace. Nonetheless, I would be more than happy to find housemates I get along well with and who also might turn into friends. https://www.facebook.com/saskia.schwer.9
Very easy going and love to make people laugh. I also love getting people together and having a great Time whether that’s with good food, food wine or just good company. Been told my lasagne is of Nonna status, their words not mine. Very ambitious and found a line of work which I love and really getting stuck into it.
Hi there! I’m Reuben and I’m moving down to Canberra for a 12 month course at Bruce CIT. I’m pursuing a career in medicine. There’s a saying that you become the 5 people you spend the most time with so I’m looking to team up or move in with some positive, driven and optimistic people. The home environment you live in plays a huge effect on your emotional state, which is important to me. Study is my #1 priority so I’ll be spending a lot of time alone at a desk with textbooks and a laptop, I’m someone who needs a peaceful and quiet environment to focus and study. Outside of that I love a good conversation and I’m fascinated by anything in the medical field, psychology, pharmacy, philosophy and I love binge watching Netflix and going out for the most delicious meal I can find. Or ordering it in. I’m really health oriented and focussed, so I like going to the gym and can definitely cook you a healthy meal! I keep to myself, I’m clean and organised, but most of all I’m agreeable to be around and can be a great friend and listener. I’d like to have conversations with anybody that I live with and learn a bit about them. I don’t want an environment where we just walk past each other going about our day pretending the other doesn’t exist. Community is important to me! Living with students would be awesome no matter what your field is because I enjoy being around other driven and passionate people.
I am friendly and easy going Tidy, clean and quiet I don't smoke or drink (well maybe social drinks) I am never home Need a place starting on July 10th 2019
Easy going, friendly and self sufficient! Looking for a place for around 6+ months from end July. Prefer to own bathroom and stay with one other person! I am a Coeliac so kitchen hygiene is essential!
Moved to Canberra February last year to study, originally from a small property just inland of Coffs Harbour. I love anything outdoors and animals and am hopefully moving my horse to Canberra towards the end of the year, although I do also like some quiet time to just relax and read or watch netflix. I am very clean and always clean up after myself. Looking for at least a 6month stay. I deferred my uni course this year as I want to change to study part time nursing next year, but for now I am working casually as an event supervisor at Parliament House roughly 30 hrs a week and hopefully start full time work in August if all goes well. Not in Canberra until First week of August but will be visiting for at the end of June end of July and would be happy to meet up if needed.
Hi! I am starting Masters of OT down at UC in August and am looking for a place to live with some awesome people. Originally from Sydney, I plan to be home every weekend/second weekend to work. I am fun, personable and respectful of personal space etc, but always up for a good chat! If at all possible too, it would be great if there is flexibility for me to have my boyfriend come to stay for a few nights a month (and paying more rent for his stay) - open to discussion. Anyways, feel free to ask me any questions!
We are two friends moving from tiny Albury, to Canberra! Jacquelin: I'm 23, and work full time for a building company. I'm friendly and easy going, love to have a chat, but also respect others need for space, and expect the same in return. I love an adventure, however I also love binge-watching TV shows and movies. I actually enjoy cleaning so you won't to worry about mess with me! I have a beautiful 7 month old German Shepherd puppy, who loves all the cuddles. Sinéad: I’m 25 and work full time in childcare. I’m quite outgoing and love to socialise. Enjoy going on hikes on the weekend, and having a drink after work. I respect everyone’s need for space and privacy and am very tidy. I have a 6 year old Boxer Cross that’s a rescue. We are looking for someone interested in finding a house to rent, and that is a dog lover. We want somewhere to call home, and not just a house we share with a stranger. If you have any questions, or are interested, please message us.
I'm studying a bachelor of journalism at the University of Canberra. I've just had a 1.5 year break from the course and went travelling. I'm finally ready to continue studying and finish. So just looking for a room for the next 6 months. I've flatted before so I understand how it works. I'm neat and tidy, and I'm easy going. Would love to find people who are up for a chat/watch tv and chill, but also respect each other's space too.
Hi! I am a 34 year old professional who works full time in the city. I am tidy, respectful, open-minded and good company. I am looking for a room in a share house not too far from town, or near a major bus route. My hobbies and interests include arts, music, going to see live bands, going to the movies, and I am LGBTQ identified so being chill with diversity is a must. Actual hair colour may be different than that in my profile pic.
Hi There!! I'm Gabby, I love terrible jokes, bad puns, quiet moments and lame old English Breakfast tea. I work in IT, I have a side hussle doing some dummy testing (I'm the dummy) for a web application you haven't heard of. I love to cook, read, get outdoors, and sleep. I also have a delightful little ginger cat who loves being fed and a warm spot to sleep. She is used to having an enclosed outdoor space so I don't see it being a problem for her to move to being indoor only. I take all responsibility for her and kittly litter and all the other kitty related things. She, however, would love more pats and laser pointer time if she has the opportunity!
