Hi, I'm Adam and Due to being offered a job contract for the next 4 years in Canberra in which I'll be driving down mid-January from Townsville in QLD so hopefully moving in at around the last week of January to start my first day on the 3rd. Looking for a place that isn't more than a 30-minute drive to work if at all possible. a bit about me. I'm a father of 1 and will be regrettably leaving him behind to secure a future for not only myself but also for him. I was in the military for quite some time in which I left due to being away all the time. I look forward to exploring Canberra and the surrounding areas on my days off but also reading or gaming if and when time permits. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hello! My name is Zina. Ideally, I'm looking to share a place with one other roommate or two if I can have my own ensuite. I am clean and tidy and respect other peoples belongings and space, but also sociable and friendly. I'm looking to share a place with people who share my values in maintaining a tidy environment and who are conscious of not making loud noise at night (for example, throwing parties all the time or playing loud music).
I am a cheerful young lady, who enjoys keeping the house clean. I believe an ordered household is beneficial for all parties and will do my best to contribute where I can. As an introvert, I understand the importance of alone time and I am respectful of that. However I will engage in conversation if you're happy to. I do not smoke, drink, or participate in night life parties, and would like to share a home with someone of the same beliefs.
I'm retired, steady income (ex military), I try to keep to myself and not interfere with the comings and goings of others. I do try to respect others privacy, as I like mine. Mind you, I do like to have a laugh, every now and then.
I am a 29 years old registered Pharmacist. Currently working in Sydney. I moved to Sydney from Canberra in Jan 2019. Now I am moving back to Canberra in Nov for a full-time permanent job. For strangers I am a quiet person but once I build a friendship it may be difficult to keep me quiet. I am a Christian (here I said it - I am religious and I hope that is not a deterrent factor to add me as your housemate) guy from South Indian background. I watch a lot of movies and Netflix - so if you are a regular movie goer or enjoys Netflix shows and requires a partner in crime - I am that person. I also enjoy watching sports especially cricket (of course I am Indian) and soccer. I do not drink or smoke. So I may not be able to grab a drink with you.. but Hey.. Who doesn't want a full-time sober housemate.
Hey there! I'm a pretty chill, quiet, and hard working queer guy who's looking to move to the ACT after having never left my home town in NSW. I've secured work, and just need to secure accommodation to finalise my store transfer! I love to read, and am currently writing my first manuscript of my book that I've dreamt of doing for years. Also quite partial to musical theatre, and nerdy games like D&D.
Hello! I am a youth worker but usually work a few different jobs to keep me entertained. (at a bit of a career cross road atm actually) I am pretty arty I have a background in photography and I'm starting to learn how to paint. I am at that age where I still wana be social but also enjoy my own space/ alone time. I am a bit of a neat freak not guna lie! I like a clean non cluttered house with lots of plants! And matching furniture and nice decor matter so much more than it did in my 20s haha. I'm vegetarian, prefer to live with other vegetarians/vegans but not essential. Bit of a hippy but the kind that showers. Meaning I am environmentally conscious but not perfect ( I drive a car) Love music and drinking tea ( I come with a large tea collection!) Don't smoke and rarely drink these days but don't care if you do (as long as smoking isn't inside) I've said a 9 month stay but it would most likely be longer, I usually get out of Canberra for some of winter and travel but if I was happy in the place I was living then I wouldn't move out while I traveled. Racists and homophobes need not apply. I'm an open book so ask anything : )
Health department employee, looking for somewhere close to work. Respectful, tidy, but always happy to do something social with housemates. Board games, movie, group dinner and wine, w/e
Hi there, I'm Molly, I'm 25 years old and moving to Canberra from Adelaide with my partner. As I have found a job, I need to move a little earlier than expected and am looking for a place to stay throughout November until my partner can join me. I would just need a single furnished room and a place to park my car - I am flexible on everything else (bathrooms etc.). It would be amazing if my 2 year old staffy, Zooma, could come with me for this time but if you cannot allow pets I have other options.
Hey I'm Angus, I'm a 25yo medical student mostly based at Canberra Hospital next year. I'm looking to move into an existing sharehouse or also open to joining people on a new lease. I've lived in sharehouses before and like to chill over a few drinks or occasionally have dinner together but also respect others housemates' space and privacy. I'm flexible on move-in dates, furniture, etc and looking primarily around the inner south or near Canberra Hospital.
I enjoy a chat and some banter but I also like to simply chill/relax on my own. Also, I like getting outdoors to do things like bushing walking and socialising out of the house. Wholistic health is an interest of mine too. Furthermore, I am not from Canberra but I have been here a few years. Whilst, I work in a busy caring field/environment 4-5 days per week in a permanent part-time role and plan to do some post graduate studies. It is a value of mine to be considerate to my flatmates by being tidy in communal living areas. Valuing a house that is a place that respects others for example being noise conscious to others flatmates ✌️ and letting my housemates know in advance if I have a friend over. In saying that I tend to socialise mostly out of the house. I am looking to move in October or November.
Hi, I’m Nikita. I’m moving to Canberra from Melbourne, Victoria to work full-time. Neat, clean, peaceful and courteous girl. I’ve got good rental payment records in all places I’ve lived at. Have been in a number of shared accommodations, hence I’m adaptive and considerate. Looking for a nice and bright place with kind and lovely housemates. Looking at moving in asap if the place suits.
