Love good conversation, quite intellectual, enjoy sharing a meal and some heady discussion, mature minded, LGBTI friendly, clean up after myself. I have a cat as well, and am an animal lover. Work part-time in mental health, but will happily work elsewhere if someone's prepared to pay me for my time (lol!). Keen to move in as soon as possible.
my name is Stephen and I'm 62 years old and a smoker.....I'm a retired counsellor/case worker/welfare worker.....I study part time online with the University of New England for general interest and I write and occasionally perform poetry.....I have a small part in an event in this year's Sydney Fringe festival.....I'm looking for somewhere long term out of the city - currently live in Newtown - where I can reflect and write.....
Hi everyone! Im Laura, am moving into the area from Melbourne to be mentored/do some teaching at a yoga studio in Penrith + some social working for 6 months. In some ways I can be a walking clichè of a yoga teacher/social work combo - I eat plants and have a slight obsession of the indoor variety, love kirtan & try to keep a foot in the activist scene. I'm also into gypsy jazz, cooking enough food to feed an army, enjoying a cheeky glass of red and attempting to make my violin make bearable sounds! I'm looking for a room of the furnished variety (even if it be a couch), or maybe a happy home who is open to having a gal and her van park in the driveway for some extra coin, cooking and yoga classes exchange?! I'm a happy friendly housemate that enjoys contributing to homely communal vibes; Probs can't go further up the hill than Leura and max of $200 a week. Alternatively up for friends too cos I will be new in the area. Thanks!! X
I am a clean, quiet, friendly, helpful 57 year old man.I am very easy to get along with and always pay my rent and bills.I am a retired mechanic/handyman and can be very helpful to have around. I am single, No pets,Dont smoke never taken drugs and rarely have a drink. I hope to find a place long term with some off street parking. The accommodation does not have to be perfect or modern, but not falling down either. If the place needs some work I am happy to do it as well. I live in Sydney south but looking to move further north. Anything out of the congestion. I am open to other areas.
Hi I'm currently working at a local cafe and looking to move into a share house with other young people. I'm a positive and creative person who is happy to socialise with roommates but also like to have my own space and spend time alone. I'm more than happy to do my share of cleaning and other house hold duties and I love to cook.
I have been house sitting in the Blue Mountains for many years, and I am looking to switch to renting when my last sit ends, from 15th September. I am looking for a quiet and peaceful place, where I can do my meditations and occasional sessions via Skype or phone. I work part time in Katoomba, and I would like to be within walking distance of the train. Basic furniture a plus :) I am independent and private, I don't smoke or drink, I am vegetarian (others in the home need not be). If you have a place in the mountains that you think would suit, please let me know :)
Hello! I am Raphie and I am looking for a place for me and my staffy x bull arab to live in at around May/June this year. I am a clean and responsible person who pays the rent on time and is mindful of other roommates and neighbours. I am pretty chill but am also down for a nice bonding sesh with fellow roommates. Missy (my dog) is desexed and very well trained, only emits warning barks to visitors or people that enter the property only, and very rarely barks at everyday distractions. She is also chill and very sociable with other dogs. She's also tame around free roaming chickens! Hit me up if you have a place or are looking to team up :)
I am currently living and working in Moss Vale as an Animal Technician. I also volunteer as an animal carer and wildlife rescuer, and spend most weekends around Sydney. I came from South West Sydney originally and am trying to relocate myself back, somewhere between Picton and Campbelltown. Driving time of no more than 1 hour to Moss Vale is crucial, so being close to the Hume Motorway is preferable. I am relatively quiet, clean, a non-smoker, and I have my own transport. I can be relied on to pitch in fairly with housekeeping. I tend to keep to myself but I do need to get along well with housemates. In my spare time I love traditional arts and paper crafts, listening to music, reading, and playing games. I have an 8 year old border collie who is currently not with me (is not allowed where I am renting now) but who I would love to have with me at a new place. Even a small yard will be fine as he will get exercise every day with me. He will need to be introduced to any other dogs carefully first, but loves people and is generally well-behaved. I am open to multiple housemates (all female or mixed) to start or join a sharehouse to help reduce living costs. Length of stay is entirely flexible, although rent limit is not very flexible. My current lease has ended, but due to my rent being paid in the middle of each month, I'm able to move within 2 to 6 weeks.
I work full time, have my own car, independent, clean and tidy, easy going person, always pay for myself, cooks and cleans. I have a 1 year old cat who is also independent and does his own thing.
