Hi, I'm Dan. I'm a 37 year old single gay guy. I recently moved back to Brisbane after living in Sydney for a while. I'm a bubbly, optomistic guy. I'm not a party animal, but love a glass of red. I'm very clean too. I actually love cleaning. Why i don't know. lol. I lived in Canada and NYC for almost 10 years so i have a kind of aussie / canadian accent apparently. Would love an ensuite, but totally open to the right place with the right flatmate. First world problems right... :) I would love to live with someone who is more extroverted than introverted, someone after a friend more than just sharing a living space together. I'm happy and chatty most of the time, and like similiar. I like optomists, rather than pesimists. Idea of the perfect flatmate: Happy, says " How you doing? ", loves to catch up and chat the end of the day, watch a movie together, not into drugs at all ( I never seen illicit drugs do anything good for anyone ) and loves a glass of red. Non judgemental and gay friendly. Someone who supports the gay community, even better! If you love Rupaul's Drag Race, i will love you. :) - I don't hook up much, maybe once in 3 months - but you would be cool that i'm getting laid and visa versa. lol. Some gay guys can be really snooty and uptight which i dislike. Try living with gay guys in Sydney - you leave one fork in the sink and they need to take a Valium to calm down. Worst flatmate for me: Complete gamers, introverted and shy, rude and just says " Hi " once a day and nothing else, does everything to excess - if your a gay guy that must drink 2 bottles of wine and get smashed every time you have a drink and stumble in at 7am, good for you, but at 37, i'm a little passed that. No judgement - I was like that in my 20's, but not now.
Like a clean, healthy living environment and will always clean up after myself. I pay rent and bills on time. Caring, respectful and considerate. I work on a permanent bases at a hotel in the city, I usually work afternoon/nights so I’ll hardly be at the apartment at all on the weekends. I have a little quiet dog named Maxi he’s a mini schnauzer Maltese and super friendly. He’s toilet trained and won’t eat (or chew) ANYTHING except his dinner in his bowl.
Hi there potential future flatmates! :) My name is Laura and I am a 31 year old lady originally from the UK. I have been offered a job in Brisbane working full time in marketing for a technology company. I am tidy, considerate, friendly and love the outdoors. I am currently trying to get myself back into rock climbing as I have been out of it for over a month now and skydiving which I have been out of for 7 months. I love to explore, learn new languages and I love food! I can be sociable but I also love personal space, though I am always happy to pop out for a coffee/drink or have dinner over TV and a day trip somewhere :). I am looking for a private room in a shared house. Ideally with 3 other flatmates as a maximum. I also have a partner so I would want flatmates to feel comfortable with having him visit and stay at least once or twice a week maximum but it would probably be every other week. I would also be away a couple days a week to visit him also. He is currently a full time skydiving and is living on the drop zone. I'm sorry but I am not looking to pay rent for a couples 'rate' as we will be living separately for the majority of our time and we are very considerate and would never take advantage of any additional things which would be costly so I hope you can understand. I am looking to spend $200 inc bills and fully furnished room. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask.
Hello my name is Deb, easy going, clean and tidy and young at heart. I have two beautiful fur Kidz, one a lovable Maltese dog and the other a sooky Rag doll cat, both well behaved. They sleep in my room at night and during the day they are outside or in my bed sleeping or exploring. I have my own bedroom furniture and would need a room 4 x 3.5 at least. I also have a large refrigerator, washing machine and commercial treadmill which I can contribute to the household. I have stable work, pay bills on time and into healthy living with a positive outlook on life. I am interested in living in a NON SMOKING home with clean and respectful house mates who like to live in a homely feel but like their own space as well. Not into living in a Home and Beautiful picturesque house, want a home. I enjoy getting out and about on weekends, after work I gym then come home and chill with the fur kidz in my room and watch some TV, I like chilling with housemates too. I am interested in teaming up with two other like minded people. It is important for me to have a well fenced yard as I don't do indoor litter trays, the fur kidz are kept well groomed, get along with other pets and I clean up after them. If you think you would be interested in teaming up you can message or call me, cheers Deb
Yo! I'm Tatiana! I'm an artist and full time meme connoisseur. I work part time hours at a retail job. I'm pretty outgoing, have a strange laugh that gets heard a lot because I'm hilarious and I'm intensely tidy. I enjoy nights out with friends and flatmates but will get an equal dopamine hit from staying in and drawing or reading. My knowledge fine art rivals the masses and I love the smell of linseed oil and antique stores. Can't wait to meet my potential flatmates for some laughs and general banter.
Hey Brisbane, I took on a project in the chilly hills to the west. For two years I’ve been away. Now, I’m coming home. Sooo, I will need a room to rent. On the other hand, I don’t fancy taking on an long lease when I may get another away project in four months time. So I’m wondering if anyone from bris is looking at moving out and would be keen to split a lease? Or if any nice people would have a room with a bit of garage space for rent? I have a set up house in Tbar with all the furniture. A motorcycle, a handful of tools. I’m 32, I’ve traveled with projects forever and have worked on mostly every continent. Very clean, very tolerant and I’ve never had a problem in a share house. I’m a rigger/rope access technician and I eat healthy. That means less sugar but I still eat meat. Like, steak.... and bacon. Also jerky. I do some cycle, some running and sometimes I knock the froth off of xxxx gold. So if your looking to fly the nest, find a bigger nest with more motorcycles, healthy food and weekend rock climbing then hit the reply button.
Hi! I'm a first-year vet student at UQ Gatton. I'm looking for someone who doesn't mind an early riser as I will be catching the intercampus bus at around 5.30-7 am. The apartment should also be relatively close to a train station. I have a calm and friendly personality. I enjoy singing, drawing and I also have a guitar(which I don't play often). Overall, I'd like to share an apartment with someone clean, reliable and with whom I can get along with :)

Hi, I'm Software Engineer from the Czech Republic, Prague working in Brisbane at our company office in the center. I'm easy going and the communicative person used to live in a shared property or running a whole house and taking care of it. I'm looking for any type of accommodation since 1st July, having my own room, with internet to be able to work some time from home. The rest is upon you and I will respect current property rules. I'm a non-smoker, no pets and I prefers spending time outside. I'm looking forward hearing from you if some listing fits my profile.
Hello! My name is Palisa, I’m 25 and work as a structural engineer. Currently living out in the burbs so looking for a place closer to the city where I’m normally based. During the week days I’m pretty busy- gym-work-sleep- repeat and I like to spend my weekends out and about. I enjoy being active so usually find somewhere to go hiking on weekends. Into learning new things currently learning cello (I promise to practise when you’re out of the house!). Massive fan of The Office and just general dry humour. If you have a dog I promise to also shower it with love. I’ve been told that I come on too strong when I ask to pat a strangers 13/10 doggo. I like to keep my spaces tidy and very respectful of communal spaces. Looking for a room with a private bathroom (though not essential) and will also need parking. Hoping to find similar chill housemate/s :) not a big party animal but down for a couple of drinks and a board games.
Hi, I'm Ashley! I work full time at an office, and my partner Chris is a medical student. We are professional, and get to sleep fairly early during the week, but love to have a beer or two on the weekends and have a good chat. We are clean, respectful and quiet. Well okay, we are American, so I guess I'm only loud when I talk. We are from New Jersey and have been living in Brisbane for the past two years. I play guitar and sing, though I'm usually too tired after work and the gym to practice, so it's usually just weekend jams. Chris and I are pretty laid back- we enjoy ending the day with some TV, and we like to explore fun areas around Brisbane on the weekends, when Chris isn't in crazy exam mode. We sometimes have friends over, though is it usually on the weekend, if ever, because of our weekday schedule. We are happy with your guests over (I always love making a new friend!), as long as they are respectful and clean. We are moving back to the states in November, so we are looking for a place to call home for our last four months in Brisbane :)
We're a couple of 2 french backpackers (AGAIN SOME FRENCH? Yes, sorry ahah!) who're making a stop in Brisbane from start July until mid August. Outgoing, we enjoy to meet new different people and share about that. We like party but not too much, we prefer to chill (moreee than big party). Just looking for funny time! Should find a work in the city as waitress / labour / all opportunities possible so we would like to work. Soccer watching if possible for important matchs because of the worldcup haha! Would like to learn surf and/or guitare for Cloé, she loves good food (or just food!!!), great meat eater (barbecue and drink a beer at the end of the day!). Bertrand is IN LOVE with Brazilian jiu-jitsu practise and healthy food. Both of us can be talkative as be calm dependant of the time (OK maybe Cloé is more excited / talkative but I promess, not boring....... she will try at least!) or of the day. Here to visit everything as possible in Brisbane CBD or surround, as places, pub, beach, gallery, park.... but also to spend some time with new people. Perfect if we could match the 2 things together :) Also clean and tidy people (maybe too much for Cloé but she is working on this haha), and we have to improve our english! No problem at all with animals as flatmates, on the contrary we love them :D
Hi there future flatmates, we´re a german couple settling in Brisbane after travelling for 5 months through New Zealand and Indonesia. We´re easy going, friendly and like to relax after a long working day. We´re both into sports. On weekdays you won´t see or hear much from us, though we´re always open for a chat. We like to keep the flat/ house clean and tidy and calm. Alex is a social worker, who previously worked with children. She also had a few jobs in hospitality and is looking for that kind of work here in Brisbane. She is a passionate dancer, loves pilates and outdoors and also all kind of cultural events. Olli is a carpenter and worked mostly as a roofer. He is looking for construction or factory work. Olli likes to take looong walks around the city, or rides his bike up a few mountains. He also enjoys city life and takes a lot of pictures (what annoys Alex ;) ). We both like to cook and would enjoy doing that with our to-be-flatmates, as well as watching a movie, go for a drink ... Hope to see you soon!
