Student- friendly, honest and always quite. Been moving to many places and had met great people. Looking for a place close to transportation to the city to go to uni and shops close by.
Hi! I'm a full time graphic designer + photographer in a lifestyle PR/marketing company. Relaxed, easygoing and fairly quiet to live with. I'm quiet during the week and spend weekends with friends, at the markets, cooking and being creative. Never opposed to a cheeseboard and wine and will happily sit down for a chat at the end of the day. Huge animal lover so have no issue living with pets. [ preferably looking for somewhere with an ensuite ]
I'm looking for a suitable place to move ideally before the end of December, it can be early 2017 though. I'm 22 and work full time. I'm a social person but respect and like my own personal space. I'm clean and tidy and easy to get along with. I like to go out for drinks or dinner every now and again but otherwise love getting outdoors, especially to the beach.
Can move in asap with two weeks rent upfront. (and bond if needed) I'm easy going and clean up after myself. Studying science at QUT. I enjoy adventuring outdoors, movies of the sci-fi variety and anything of an artistic nature.
Hey! :) Im steph, im 28, I work fulltime and study part time, im neat and like a clean and tidy house :) Im looking to live towards the city somewhere, places like Lutwyche, Arana Hills, Windsor, Alderley, Kedron, Kelvin Grove, Camp Hill, Carindale etc :) Ok... so I know alot of people dont wanna live with a kid but honestly, its really no big deal at all. You can still have friends round etc, nothing would have to change i promise! lol :) My boys name is Max and he's 8 and a half, so he can pretty much look after himself lol He looooves playing xbox and would love to have an xbox buddy to play with. He's also really good at drawing and making things. We also have an indoor ragdoll cat named Alice. Shes like a dog and follows you around everywhere and waits at the door when u get home lol she actually loves dogs too, we used to have a beagle and theyd play fight and snuggle up together :) so cute! Anyhoo, Im looking another person to get a house together. Dont mind if its a girl or guy, as long as youre reliable and pay rent on time, respectful, have a stable income, funny, around similar age, and are actually serious about all of this and not just looking for a live in f buddy :/ Id prefer a house rather than a unit. Itd be cool if it had a deck and nice yard and maybe even a pool !?! :D and undercover parking (lock up garage) would be ideal, as i just bought myself a BMW so dont want that to get wrecked lol Ive seen houses where they have 2 bedrooms downstairs and 2 upstairs. That kind of thing would be good coz i do like and neeeeeed my privacy and own space at times, as im sure you would too, so for example max and i could have the 2 downstairs bedrooms and you could have the upstairs (or vice versa) that way we each have our own space, own lounge area and bathrooms and just share the kitchen pretty much lol Cost wise, i think its easiest to just split everything equally (rent, bills etc) but that can all be worked out when we found a place we liked :) I have all the furniture already, big leather lounge, tv, dining table, fridge, washing machine etc and then plates cups blah blah blah :) youd only need your bedroom stuff really :) Id also be super keen for a few drinks on a friday or Saturday night to relax and unwind after a busy working week if you are :) Im a good cook, easy going, love a good laugh and have a very sarcastic sense of humour. So youd definitely have to be funny and easy going and be able to take a joke lol I do smoke on the odd occasion and if i do its only ever outside and i usually go shower straight after as i hate the smell lol i know... weirdo... haha Max and i love going to the drive in movies, bowling, to the park and would really love to get a puppy! So if youve already got a dog thats good with kids thatd be so awesome! Anyway, if youre interested just send me a text and we could set up a time to meet to see how we get along :) hopefully hear from you soon :) Ps. Also, i have been fkd around alot on here by guys only interested in being live-in friends with benefits... so please only message me if you're actually genuine about finding a house, not just sex on call... :| Oh, i also got catfished too from someone replying to this ad, so unfortunately, please dont be surprised if i ask for photos/fb details/even ID/tenant ledger etc to make sure youre actually who you say you are. Thanks :)
I'm easy to live with, don't make much noise. Can be quiet sometimes, but outgoing once you get to know me. Clean, friendly, into art and loves to cook (got a few cook books), and have a good chat. I will be working full time Monday - Friday (graduate architect) so will be pretty chilled in the evenings. Been in Brisbane for about 4months and love getting to know the city and excellent food spots.
I'm looking for some easygoing flatmates in the Chermside/nundah area. I'm new to Brisbane and will be commuting to Redcliffe for work, starting in late January. I'm friendly, like to keep active, and always happy to share a meal or a glass of wine.
Hi there, I'm Zoe! I am a 33 year old Executive Assistant working for the Government in the Brisbane CBD. I am looking to move into a house (or possibly a large unit or townhouse) within the leafy suburbs of Paddo, Ashgrove, Red Hill or surrounds. My preference would be living with one or two other ladies around my age who would enjoy a casual drink, dinner or a TV series marathon every now and then and are casual and easy going. I also need an undercover car park. My interests include going to the gym, yoga, live music, travelling, photography and bush walking. I am a big cat and dog lover, so living with animals would be fine. At this stage I am flexible around move in dates and happy to consider something in the New Year also. I am also interested in team ups - so feel free to send me a message and we can discuss more. I hope to hear from you soon.
My friend Dana and I are looking to move out with some more people towards the end of January to save some money and meet some great people. So a little bit about us... I'm a recent journalism and PR graduate, currently work casual in Milton while gaining some more experience in PR. Dana studies exercise physiology and works two jobs in the CBD in retail and food services so she's a trooper. We both enjoy drinks on the weekend or just after a long day, nachos (or any mexican food really) and kicking back with some Netflix. We're looking for a house close to the city with nearby public transport and a supermarket. Ideally a walkable area like Paddington but we're open to other places. Must be okay with small dogs! My family has 2 and they might be staying over once a month or less. They're friendly inside dogs, one's a mini poodle and the other a cavoodle, and they spend 99% of their time sleeping so shouldn't be a bother. If you're interested send me a message and we'd be happy to meet up :)
We're a friendly and outgoing couple but also like our times of solitude as well. Both of us will be studying at UQ (business and medicine) so we'll be at the library quite a lot over the semesters. We like to keep our surroundings tidy and are happy to hang out with our fellow housemates for movies nights, dinners etc. Based on feedback, the budgeted rental price is our combined maximum (not including bills). Also, we won't be ready to move until early to mid January as our home base is in Victoria, so we will be down south for the summer :)
We are a working-studying couple in mid 30-40. I'm a Graphic Designer working full-time in Milton (so anything within half an hour trip via public transport to Milton would do). My husband (44) is a student at TAFE and a handyman. I cook about 2-3 time a week, but without poisoning the air with unbearable spice smells though and never leave kitchen dirty after that. We hope to find a place with as considerate, quiet and tidy people as we are. We have no pets, but wouldn't mind if there are in the house (I especially adore cats). One more detail. I'm 155 cm tiny woman and my hubby is an average scale guy, and we don't have too much stuff with us. We are renting a standard spaced room (abt 10 m2) in a shared house now and totally fine with it.
I am 36 year old male working for NAB. Very clean and tidy. Recently moved to Brisbane for a work project till June. Looking for accommodation closer to City. I am quite sociable, however not party type. Very mindful of your privacy and personal space. Like to be as close to the city as possible. If you like to team up feel free to message me.
Well, this isn't my first rodeo when it comes to house sharing, so I hope I make a good flat mate.... I'm quiet and respectful, clean and tidy, I love to have a good old chat and have a wine or two of an evening with dinner - but I won't be in your face 24/7 and I'd hope you're not in mine. My hobbies include TV watching (various things and definitely some trash TV), hanging out with friends on the weekends (brunnnnnnnch!), drinks on a Friday night and going to the beach most weekends - as an ex-Melbourne girl good beaches are still somewhat of a novelty for me. At the moment I work full time, and in the new year I will be leaving my current job and commencing part time work as I'll be continuing studying (Nursing), so between work and uni 2017 is going to be busy. I come with stuff too if we need it, like a washing machine, fridge, couch and kitchen items, but I'm also happy to find storage for these things if need be. I lovvvvvvvvvvvvve to cook and bake so if you like cookies I'm your girl! In a nutshell I'm looking for someone I can be friends with and live with I'd love to live with someone similar!
Hi there! Looking to team up with someone or people to find a place with asap! Or a share house that is ok with having a cat! I work shift work for GOV and have a little white rag doll named Charlie who is adorable! Love music and a good chat! Pretty easy going and respectful of others! Not really sure what else to say so message me if you want to meet up or know anything else :)
I am a student going into my 3rd year of studying criminology. I am very social and love meeting new people, I work at boost juice so I can make a mean smoothie. I'm clean, well spoken, respectful and easy to get along with, just looking for some like minded people to live with and have fun while doing it
Student looking for a quiet place Likes: Cats, dogs, exercising, archery, food, games, sleep. Good at: paying bills on time, cleaning up after myself, budgeting Can at maximum pay up to 150 pw rent but would prefer staying under that (wouldn't we all?) Note: Current lease runs out 6/1/17 and I am going to UQ @ St. Lucia.
Hi, I'm Kamilah and I am looking for 1-2 people to share a house with beginning at the end of January when my current lease runs up. I currently work part time and study full time with 6 months left until I graduate. I am very responsible with my rent and bills and I have a number of necessary household appliances that I would bring with me that would be available for everyone to use. I do enjoy to be sociable however I also enjoy my own privacy and downtime. I am often at my boyfriends a number of nights during the week so would not always be at home. I would also be happy to pay extra for an ensuite. The suburbs I have listed below are only a rough guide and I would be open to other locations on the Northside. If you feel like we might be suited then please message me! :)
Im a 22 year old Male who will be studying full time in Southbank. I am ex Army and consider myself extremely clean and organised. Ive recently backpacked Europe for 6 months and love getting to know people from all over the place. Im looking for fun friendly and motivated housemates who like to keep the place clean, interact with each other and want to make the place a home and not just a sharehouse. Male or Female doesnt matter aslong as we all get along well and respect each others privacy and what not while in the house. As much as ill be busy studying through the week i wouldnt turn down a few drinks and a fun night out with my housemates. Can cook also :D look forward to hearing from you !!!
Hi :) I'm an easy going music student, I play guitar and sing. But I'm always respectful with my noise. I am studying in south brisbane so I'd like to live within approx 30mins of uni (on public transport), I do also have a car though. Ideally I'd like to find some people that I get along with well, I am good at just keeping to myself, but would prefer to make some friends :) My ideal place would have a fairly large bedroom (I have a fair bit of music gear etc) and a bathroom to myself or one that doesn't have to be shared with too many people. Also my boyfriend lives on the Sunshine Coast and sometimes comes over on weekends so it would be good if the house was okay with that . Thankyou :)
Looking for some new roommates and friends?? Look no further than these two fun-loving gal pals! Danielle and I are in the market for a third roommate to complete our new home. We are still looking for a place and are in the middle of the vigorous process right now! We are relaxed, friendly, clean and always up for a good time; whether that means a good night out or staying in with the fam watching crappy tv, its always a good time! While we love and respect privacy, we are always ready for some beers, bants or late night chats and dnms :) I (Kiana) am coming into my last year of university (nursing), work part-time and play a sport at least once a week. Danielle is a freshly graduated primary school teacher, successfully going into her first year of educating our future! Feel free to swing us a message if you're interested! :)
Hello, my name is Sophie. I am from France (born in the West Indies). I come for a few months (for the moment) in Brisbane to improve my english...and my life (VWH)! I like to live in a nice, considerate environment. Like to have fun, but am very respectful. Clean, tidy, bubbly person. Very friendly, but can keep to myself if you prefer. I'm looking for a place where I can have my own bathroom or ensuite and built-in wardrobe. On-site pool is a bonus.
I am a very tidy and considerate person, I don't like to make a lot of noise. I like to eat healthy and keep fit. I am very outdoorsy, so I am always off on an adventure. I have a cute mini foxy who will sleep outside or inside and has the best personality.
- 25 year old - Mature - Clean and like to share responsibilities. - Non-smoker (but not bothered by it). - Work full time - Easy going - Friendly and Social
Hey! I'm Helene, I'm 18 and hoping to do full time study next year. I am originally from Brisbane but spending the most of 2016 Volunteering my time in Tonga whilst my family live here. I am quite a social person but enjoy my quiet time at home and study. I am easy to get to know and looking to move in somewhere that will be easy for me to get to Uni. My family has moved overseas leaving me to stay in Australia to study on my own, my course for excercise and health science at ACU starts February 2017, I have already spent time living with flatmates for the first 6 months of this year. For fun I like to get out of the house and spend time with friends and participate in sport, And I like to think I am quite a healthy person. Hoping to move in somewhere to start uni in Febuary 2017! P.s non furnished would be ideal! Xx
I'm a fun, creative, active girl looking for a fresh start (just ended a 6-year relationship). I'm a musician and would like to have either a spare room or living area I could set up as a studio. I work (and stay) Friday - Sunday down the Gold Coast as a live sound engineer and teach music lessons from my home studio two afternoons per week. I ride a motorbike and would require an off-street area to park it. Looking for social flatmates who enjoy catching up over a glass of wine at the end of the day, doing the odd "family" dinner or movie & games nights. That said, I certainly respect privacy and personal space. I'm not a clean freak, but I am neat and tidy - especially in the kitchen and communal areas. Excited to find and meet my new flatmates!
Hey I'm Simon Im 34 and i am looking for a place preferably with a yard to share for me and my greyhound Enzo. I am a full time shift worker in the railway and I'm easy going and friendly, Enzo is an outdoor dog he's very laid back, likes to lounge around all day and is well behaved he very rarely barks at anything and is great with other people and other dogs (not a fan of cats though). looking to share with fun, social, easy going people who like animals
I'm fairly quiet and a considerate housemate. I have lived with lots of different housemates and moved more times than I care to remember. So I'm very adaptable. I like my own space to just relax but I also enjoy having someone around to have a chat. Certainly enjoy the occasional Friday night wine and getting out of the house on a weekend. Definitely don't party too much anymore but I'm always up for a fun social activity. I like to cook meals during the week and try to eat relatively healthy. Always cook too much so would love a housemate to share a family meal with a few nights a week. Work full time Monday to Friday in Enoggera so looking to stay in the area nearby. During the week I like to keep fit and have sporting commitments 3 to 4 nights a week so would be out most of the time. Would prefer a room not too small with a good sized wardrobe, a little bit of storage sapce and my own bathroom or ensuite would be amazing, but honestly I'm pretty easy so not too picky.
Looking for a person to start a share house with me and my current housemate :) I'm an undergraduate student in my second year of Creative Industries at QUT, very friendly and sociable and happy to share cooking and expenses. I'm not a big party animal however I do like to have a glass of wine with dinner occasionally and go out sometimes on the weekends. I work most nights and am around a bit during the day. Jayme works full time hours but not regular, she's around a little bit and is super fun. She does like to go out on weekends and have a lot of fun. So whatever you're into is cool :) Thanks , Sam
Hello! We are a couple (Australian and American) who have been living in the USA for the past few months. We are looking for somewhere awesome to move into in early January!!! We really want to make friends in our new house as we are leaving a lot of ours behind here in Tallahassee. Any orientations, preferences, or identities are a-okay with us, please let us know so we can accomodate your wishes :) We like a beer, a glass of wine, and cooking. We aren't huge partiers, so we are looking for housemates who are just down to chill, watch an episode of something or play some board games. We no longer smoke but if you do, it's not a deal breaker for us. While we are health conscious, we are not vegetarian or vegan (I'm slowly making the transition) but if you are, please let us know so we can make sure we respect your kitchen and food area :) We do own a very friendly small-medium dog (a Kelpie mix named Chia) who is currently at her grandparent's place. She is a true outside dog and prefers to stay outdoors most of the time unless the weather is really bad. Ideally we would like a space with a backyard that accepts pets or already has pets as she gets along really well with other dogs, but we understand it's difficult. She gets very spoiled there so it's not an issue if you do don't allow animals. I'm a hospitality veteran and Mike works in software development so he uses his computers a lot. He will probably also pick up a casual job in hospo or retail. I am also studying Journalism online and I'm in my final stages, so that keeps me pretty busy when I'm not working. I hope to start a placement soon after I graduate, so I'll be out a lot. I am more than happy to pay upfront for the bond and four weeks rent (inc. utilities) if you are interested in taking us. Since we are coming back from the States we have no furniture at all; if you're moving and need to get rid of yours, please let us know! Even just a bed would be a great help. We look forward to meeting you :) Mike and Tayla
Full-time professional, fit, healthy, clean and tidy, animal friendly, studying part-time. Prefer own bathroom and car park in a new/near new complex within 5km of the city. Pool would be a bonus!
Born and raised in Birmingham, UK, I am a Exotic Animal Veterinary Surgeon. I'm laid back, relaxed and sociable - but will always do my part to help with the house work. I'm always keen to play sport - especially football, volleyball and capoeira. My other hobby is board gaming. I will be working full time as a Veterinary Surgeon for 6 months in Brisbane during my time in Australia, with the view to travelling afterwards.
Hi, I’m a creative person who dabbles in Photography and Graphic Design. I’m currently living on the Gold Coast looking to migrate to Brisbane in early 2017 to commence studying Entertainment Business Management at JMC Academy in February. I’m open-minded, easy going, respectful and reliable. My interests include watching TV shows (such as: Game of Thrones, Mr Robot, Bob’s Burgers, The Office), music (Nirvana, Parkway Drive, The Smith Street Band etc etc) and films/documentaries like Pulp Fiction, Harry Potter, Blackfish and anything by David Attenborough. I go out to live music gigs fairly often, more than I go out to clubs etc. Not a big party animal however I do enjoy sneaky beverages and good old backyard drinking sessions. I enjoying meeting people of all walks of life and am searching for like-minded people to call somewhere home with. If I sound like a stranger you’d wanna live and become mates with or just wanna suss me out, let me know!
Hey I'm Emily, I'm 19, studying Journalism at Griffith and work a part time job, all weekend, all day along with two internships per week. Besides work and study, I like to read, crafts, go outdoors and also tend to play a lot of video and computer games when uni is finished. So, with my moving in you will possibly gain an Xbox 360 (that looks like R2D2!). I also have a boyfriend that I love to see about 2 to 3 times per week. I am very chill, easy to get along with as well as tidy and respectful of others privacy and I am currently looking to move out of home for the first time.

I'm 28, Work Full Time at RBWH and looking for a place close to the hospital and still quite central! I'm clean and tidy and understand personal space as well as enjoy being social and getting to know more people over dinners and glasses of wine! I also looking for people that I can get along, have fun and be social with! Been in Brisbane coming up to a year so I'm keen to meet new people and meet some awesome housemates 😊 Looking for move end of January as my current lease runs out then so if I sound like someone you'd want to live with let me know 😊✌🏼️
I'm respectful and clean (besides my room on the occasion) as well as being out going and caring. I'm a musician, but I'll always consider everyone else when I play and mostly use my headphones. I love having conversations whether about conspiracy theories or vegans or just about anything in depth. I tend to be busy a lot of the time so I love to enjoy myself on the weekend, whether going out to the Valley or having some drinks at home. I smoke, but I'm also trying to quit and intend to fully quit but at that I don't mind being around smokers etc. Best thing about me as a room-mate if anything is I that I keep to myself and tend to be 'invisible' most of the time, but at that I promote others to come and talk to me or to chill with me. Just because I'm sitting in my room watching Netflix with my door shut doesn't mean you can't come tell me about how shit/amazing your day was...
Sign a lease with me :) I'm looking to move into a new place in January and am looking for a housemate to join me. I'm a 29 year old female employed full time with a 4 yr old very affectionate and well trained female small - medium dog. I have almost a whole house full of furniture with the exception of a second bedroom and some kitchen supplies. Am currently looking at some great 2 - 3 bedroom house/ townhouses that could be fantastic. Am also happy to move into established home if the right place comes along. Let me know if you are interested by contacting me
Radiography student who is quiet and hardworking looking for a place to live when my lease runs out :) All I do is study, go to gym and go to work. I don't mind hanging out with housemates provided we get along great. Love movies and video games but also know how to keep to myself when needed :)
Hi future flatmate, I currently live in a beautiful flat with beautiful people but the owner decided to sell the unit so here I am looking for another nest. I work full time in IT Project in healthcare. I am pretty active and live a pretty simple healthy lifestyle, going out camping during the weekend or spending time with boyfriend when he's around. My only requirements would be to live in a place that feels like home and a clean kitchen so I can cook my fresh organic food and share the love when I can. Other than that, I am easy going, I can easily understand someone else's perspective and adapt to common house rules. I originally come from France, hence the accent but I've lived in Australia for over 5 years. I'm fortunate to have travelled to a lot of places in the world and have nice stories to tell. I am known to be an amazing flatmate to live with and I have references to share if needed. Let's meet up and see if we click. Any questions, please ask away. PS: Moving out before December 11th.
So I wanting to move out my current place by the beginning of January. Most of my friends aren't in the position to move out with me. 😒 I'm looking for 2 or 3 people to move into a house and call it our own. Based in Paddington, Milton, Red Hill, Ashgrove and Wilson. So if you are interested please don't hesitate to message me and send me your details. Let's hang out, get a coffee or a cocktail. See if we gel and all that jazz. A little bit about myself. I like getting into mischief :) I would consider myself a social bunny. I'm always procrastinating doing my uni work and rather be hanging out on the deck with a drink in my hand or literally anything. I'm easy going , open minded and creative person.
Hi, Gen and I have currently been living in our 3 bedroom appartment in the city for over 2 years. We met on flat mates.com and have been great mates ever since ! So we are looking to expand our house and move slightly out but still in surrounding suburbs as we spend a lot of our time around Southbank and the city. I have a cat named Theo who is amazing. So I would love to find a house/ appartment with a little courtyard or back yard for him. I also grow my own veggies and would love a bigger area ! A little bit about me, I work full time as a manager in a hair salon. I'm a vegetarian who loves the outdoors ! Gen is a full time student studying her masters, the both of us are going to Europe next July for 5 weeks! We became great friends living together and we found each other on this site so we are looking for a 3rd amigo to join us. We generally like to have a few beers/wine to unwind a stressful day. Both super easy going as long as our new room mate is tidy :) Our lease ends next January the 22nd 2017 so we are looking to move out around those dates Message me if you would like to get together and find a house !
Hi my name is Javana, I'm 23 and I work in customer service and also study part time. I am friendly but respectable. I spend a couple (or more) nights with my boyfriend whether it be his or mine so I would prefer a place accepting of couples. I am a private person but I do know how to socialise and be friendly! I am very tidy as long as the house work is shared between everyone. If you think you can help me out please message me! But please make note of my move in date! Looking forward to hearing from you :)
Well, we are from Noosa Sunshine Coast and will hopefully be beginning our University courses in mid-February while securing part-time work. I will hopefully be starting my bachelor of Science at QUT, or if I do not get accepted, a course surrounding business. Issy hopes to study Psychology at the University of Queensland. We believe my enthusiasm to meet new people and to experience new things is what would make us great people to live with. Since beginning year 12, me and Issy have always known that I would be moving to Brisbane once we left school to start University, and a share house seems like a great place to start ournew life!
Hi there I'm a med PhD/ neuroscientist (super driven) recently back for the states, to help my folks through a transition. Now it's my turn. (House trained) I read a lot though I'm not really a homebody. I love to hang out, philosophise and have a bit of fun preferably with cool compassionate, empathic, humble, self aware, progressive, respectful people. I’m chill and easy going but passionate and engaged with the world. Life's about being positive and being able to talk to anyone no matter what their perspective but if you dont know who Donald Trump is or think he's a good thing, I'm just not the one for you. Troy
