I just graduated with a Bachelor of International Studies at UQ and am working full time for the next six months, before starting a Masters degree in 2018. I'm an easy-going, cheerful and reliable person :) I often head to the coast on weekends to see fam/friends. I would love to live in a place where housemates are friends, and that is equally social and peaceful.
Hi, hallo, hey. I am Emma, 26, working full-time in arts and tourism. I'm a practicing visual artist/graphic designer and enjoy a creative outlet of any kind: travelling, reading, gardening, sketching and painting are top of mind at the moment. I love cooking up a big meal for good people and having a chat over a glass of wine. When I'm not at work I usually keep busy with freelancing and various other activities. I've enjoyed the past 7 years living in share accommodation with all sorts of great humans. Creating a safe, peaceful and happy home is super important to me - your home is my home and vice versa. I'm very considerate of personal space and will always do my part to keep things clean, tidy and homely.
I work a 7/7 roster so every second week I'll be away for work. When I am home I will be quiet, respectful, always leaving things how I found them and cleaning up after myself. I have a loveable, kind, friendly golden retriever X labrador named Frankie that absolutely love pats, company and play times!! 🐶
Hey! :) I'm Steph, I'm 29, I work full time and study part time, I'm pretty neat and like a clean and tidy house :) Looking to move anytime over the next few months, no rush but happy to do it asap if i was to find the right roomy :) I'm looking to live either the Northside (Nundah, Aspley, Kelvin Grove, Wavell Heights, Bridgeman Downs etc - somewhere near The Royal Bris hospital as thats where i work) or even on the Southside (Springfield Lakes, Augustine Heights, Brookwater, Collingwood Park etc - as thats where i am atm). Ok... so I know a lot of people don't wanna live with a kid but honestly, its really no big deal at all. You can still have friends round etc, nothing would have to change i promise! :) My boy is 9 years old, so if you like playing xbox you guys will be best buds lol He's a good kid, looks after things, helps around the house, is pretty easy going and quiet to live with :) We also have an indoor ragdoll cat named Alice. Shes like a dog and follows you around everywhere and waits at the door when u get home lol :) so cute! So, I'm looking for another person to get a house together. Obviously we will have to apply for houses so you'd clearly need to be approved on that as well to live there :) You'll need to be reliable and pay rent on time, respectful of privacy, the property and of other peoples things, work and have a stable income, funny, preferably single and around similar age. I'd really prefer a house rather than a unit with undercover parking (lock up garage) as I drive a BMW :) I guess starting off with a 6 month lease would be ideal, then it can always be renewed if we want :) The house would need to have at least 3 bedrooms coz I need my own space too and dont want to crammed into the same room with my son lol so I'd have one, he'd have one and you'd have the other one/two etc :) I'd also be keen for a few drinks on a friday or Saturday night to relax and unwind after a busy working week if you are :) I looooove cooking and literally make the best caramel tarts you'll ever eat (i have references for this lol), im pretty easy going, love a good laugh and have a very sarcastic sense of humour. So you'd definitely have to be funny, easy going, down to earth and be able to take a joke lol Anyhoo, hope to hear from you soon to organise a day to meet up and see if we connect :)
Hi there, I'm Chris from Berlin, Germany. I just moved to Brisbane on the 27 of July as an exchange student at the QUT (Gardens Point). Staying in a hostel a.t.m. and looking for a nice flatshare for the next 4 month. I'm an open minded and communicative person and lived in a flatshare (male and female) for the last 4 years, so I'm used to cook, having a beer (German stereotype - check! ;), go out dancing, doing sports or just hang out, together with my flatmates. But I also totally understand if someone wants to be alone or just needs some rest. I'm also a clean and tidy person and I like animals, so if you have a pet, this shouldn't be a problem, except it is something creepy! :D Some more about me? For the last 6 years I worked as an event manager (in full-time) for the cultural department of one district office of Berlin. Next to my job I studied in the evenings for the last 2 1/2 years. But now I quitted my job to be able to study abroad for one semester and go on traveling afterwards. I saved enough money and will also try to get a job in bar or sth. similar, so no worries, I will be able to pay my rent easily (even without the job)! If you have any questions, just hit me up! Cheers Chris
Hi everyone, I am a very neat and tidy person. I'm very respectful of others and their need for quiet and personal space, I'm also mature, independent, understanding, fun loving, social and friendly. I'm 18 so I'm always keen for a good night out but I also I like catching up with friends, I'm an active person but I do love my food and I also like chilling at home watching some good old Netflix! Right now I'm on my gap year working on our family property in NSW. I am a farm girl but don't worry I'm not a complete bogan and I went to boarding school in Brisbane so I know my way around and have plenty of friends up there. I'm hoping to move in late July or early August so I'm able to settle in and get a job and earn more money before I start uni at QUT next year. I'm looking for a place that has easy access to the city, is preferably furnished but if not that's ok, I love animals so I'm more than happy to live with pets and I am looking for a place where the rent is under $180! So if you think that I would be a good fit for your house please message me!!!
Hi! I'm a 3rd year UQ student with a part time job. I'm looking for a room in a modern apartment preferably with my own bathroom. I'm a very social person and am looking to move into a home rather than just a house. I would love to be able to cook with my roommate some nights of the week, whether that be a full meal or a cheese platter with a couple of bottles of wine. In saying that I also appreciate my own, and others personal space. I will always keep communal areas clean and am very excited about finding a new place to live.
I'm an independent guy who loves having a high quality chat and connecting with people, I also very much value my own space and time. Non-smoker and basically a non-drinker although I do indulge on the rare occasion just for the taste of a good beer. My career path at the moment is in strength coaching/training. I currently train clients at a private gym in Milton. Most of my time is dedicated to training as a competitive powerlifter and I have also begun my journey into MMA with the intention of competing in the cage. I'm looking too move in with young or older professionals following their own career path, with life and business experience from all walks of life. An environment of people that are looking to grow in personal and business life would be ideal.
Hellllllo, I've recently graduated from university and currently finding the transition into adulthood pretty damn awkward. I like to read, wear socks, spend time in nature, take up ridiculous hobbies and then get bored/forget about them 3 months later, paint terribly (wine and craft, anyone...?) go see/hear music and hang out with quality humans for quality chats about nonsense. I would like to live somewhere laid back, with a good energy and with people who make the house a home. I have some plant babies, a bubba fire pit and quite a bit of house furniture so I feel like I may be leaning towards teaming up and starting a new share house, but I'm open for whatevs really.
Easy going professional, very clean, considerate and busy with work, exercise and life in general so keep to myself but always up for a laugh or a beer. Generally up early, go to bed early so would prefer somewhere relatively quiet (within reason) or share with similar people. Considering whether to renew my current lease or move into another place but would like to decide asap. Could be somewhat flexible with move dates and would prefer off street parking and own bathroom. Feel free to message me with any questions. Cheers.
Hi there, We are both Germans and here for work. We have been living and working in New Zealand for the last 2 years. I'm a prof. hairdresser and My partner is a graduated Product Design Engineer. We are easy going , tidy people and down to earth, always happy to socialize but respect others and give them their own space! Feel free to ask questions! Cheers Jasmina
Hey I'm Sam, I just graduated from UQ and will be starting a full time accounting job in the city in October. I am Australian although I have a wee accent, friendly personality (self-proclaimed) and am independent. I love sport, stay active by going to the gym but do enjoy to chill and watch tv with others.
*** ROOM MUST COME WITH AN ENSUITE Hey I'm Cody, I'm a freelance fx makeup artist and part time cook. I'm free spirited, chilled out and down to earth with a mean resting bitch face but don't let that intimidate you. There's two things I'm all about, 1. Spicy food and 2. Making the most I've everything that comes your way and just enjoying life. Health&fitness&fit'n'ess whole cheeseburger in my mouth
Hi! I'm 21 and employed full time, working in the city as an architect. I would say I'm neat, easy-going and reasonably quiet/private, but always up for a chat. I'm into photography, cycling and like to get out of the city and go bushwalking on weekends.
Hi, Professional female just returned from a long holiday looking for a place to call home. Clean and tidy and love to have a good chat but also love to have my own space. I'm a total foodie and love adventuring on the weekends to the coast or exploring Brisbane. Also a bit of a gym junkie :) Would prefer to have my own bathroom but not essential. I don't have any furniture apart from my bed. In saying that the Room must be able to fit a queen sized bed. I do love to travel and would love to go on another long holiday at the end of the year which is why I have put 4 months lease but things are always changing and could be here for longer.
I'm studying psych and justice full time at QUT and working casually so I'm rarely home during the day (unless I'm feeling lazy) but I'm always keen to get out for gigs and drinks. I've been flatsharing for a few years now so I'm good on the lowdown for keeping things clean and lighthearted, I'm also really laid back so not much stresses me out. I'm basically always down for festivities and family dinners, but chill nights to get work done are good too (bonus points for Game of Thrones ep nights). My current roomie is moving away at the end of August so I'm looking for a new crew to get around with and have some fun times! Send me a message if this matches what you're looking for or if you have a room available around that time, thanks!
Looking for 1-2 people to find a whole apartment. I am happy with furnished or unfurnished. I will be in Thailand all of August but am hoping to get something sorted for the 1st of September. If you are looking for a buddy up let me know!
Hello future flatmate, I am Vivek. A PhD researcher at Griffith university. I am mostly on uni and I am into running and maintain my fitness and be healthy. I am neat and clean and I will be a great person to live with. I would like to socialise with new people and make friends. I enjoy having a wine on friday evening and watching movies in netflix !
Hi, I'm Dan. I'm a 36 year old single gay guy. I recently moved back to Brisbane after spending some time in Sydney and Melbs. I'm originally from Sydney. I have just scored a full time role with Cash Converters in Taringa at the head office. I'm a bubbly, optomistic guy. I'm not a party animal, but love a glass of red. I'm very clean too. I actually love cleaning. Why i don't know. lol. I lived in Canada and NYC for almost 10 years so i have a kind of aussie / canadian accent apparently. Would love an ensuite, but totally open to the right place with the right flatmate. First world problems right... :) I would love to live with someone who is more extroverted than introverted, someone after a friend more than just sharing a living space together. I'm happy and chatty most of the time, and like similiar. I like optomists, rather than pesimists. Idea of the perfect flatmate: Happy, says " How you doing? ", loves to catch up and chat the end of the day, watch a movie together, not into drugs at all ( I never seen illicit drugs do anything good for anyone ) and loves a glass of red. Non judgemental and gay friendly. Someone who supports the gay community, even better! If you love Rupaul's Drag Race, i will love you. :) - I don't hook up much, maybe once in 3 months - but you would be cool that i'm getting laid and visa versa. lol. Some gay guys can be really snooty and uptight which i dislike. Try living with gay guys in Sydney - you leave one fork in the sink and they need to take a Valium to calm down. Worst flatmate for me: Complete gamers, introverted and shy, rude and just says " Hi " once a day and nothing else, does everything to excess - if your a gay guy that must drink 2 bottles of wine and get smashed every time you have a drink and stumble in at 7am, good for you, but at 36, i'm a little passed that. No judgement - I was like that in my 20's, but not now. I don't like gay guys that have a crabby/cunty attitude for absolutely no reason either ( trust me, its common in Oz ) lol.
Working Nurse and Student Paramedic with tiny loving dog called Bandit. When I'm not at Work, Uni or hanging with friends or family I like to chill and read or go to the gym. I don't mind a drink or two but not a typical every weekend party going 20 year old. I am just looking around as I get closer to the end of my current lease and my flatmate is moving to Townsville. I'm pretty easy going and am very respectful of others privacy and happy to hang out too.
I'm looking for 1-2 People to move into a new place with me. I'm looking to move in the middle of September as my current lease ends in the end. I'm basically looking anywhere in Inner-North Brisbane, preferably no further north than Kedron. I have all communal furniture/appliances/kitchen things needed (Couch, Fridge, washer, dryer, outdoor setting, microwave, you name it) the only thing I don't have is a dining room table. Although if you have a decent size TV for the lounge room that would be great! I'm a really easy going and laid back person. I work full time so i'm out of the house all day Monday-Friday. When I get home from work I usually keep to myself a bit but don't mind the casual chat or hangout. I have a boyfriend who'll usually be over a couple nights per week as well. I really want a house where all housemates can get along and hangout as friends too! As little drama as possible would be good! 😂 I love a homey environment where we all feel comfortable. I like having friends over every now and then and wouldn't mind if you did too! I've had mixed experiences with this site (I've been in share houses for the past 3 years) so I'd like to get to know you a bit before we decide to live together. If there's anything more you'd like to know about me please send me a message! I'd love to hear from you :)
