Hey there, how are things going? My name is John, I am 27 years old and a full-time PhD student at UNSW. My area of research is astronomy; and i'm approaching the final year of my PhD study. When i am not doing research, i work as a teaching assistant/lab demonstrator/university tutor at UNSW. So, most of my time is spent either working or doing research. I was born and raised in Sydney (the eastern suburbs), so, i know the area quite well. I consider myself to be a down to earth, responsible, easy going, understandable and hard-working person. Communication, honesty and trust are important to me (and hopefully to you too!). At this point in time, i think i'm looking to move out by early August and at the latest by September (but August is more likely). Feel free to send me a message at any time if you'd like to know more!
Hi There, My name is Shwetha. I've been in Sydney for over 2 years working at a Finance firm in a managerial role. Originally from Bangalore, India, Sydney is my second home and always will be, My flatmate has decided to move in with her partner of 5 years and, even though i will miss her dearly, it is time for me to spread my wings and move out of our amazing share house :) Looking to share a house/apartment with other professionals of similar age. Flatmates who enjoy a drink or two over the weekend but have their own lives as well. I respect personal space, privacy and am not a massive party person (wake up early to go to work with late hours in the office from time to time). Looking forward to finding an equally amazing flatmate :) Cheers, Shwetha
Hi I'm Jess, I'm a creative person. Pretty relaxed and quiet. Very clean and tidy. Work can be eventful so I enjoy coming home and watching tv/ glass of wine and going to bed. Not a raging party person but fine with a dinner party or bbq. I work in full-time in event planning and operations. Long hours, sometimes early starts and sometimes late finishes. Earliest would be leaving at 5am and latest arriving home at midnight. Varies due to different events every week. I get two days off a week but sometimes I work through weekends so they might be during the week. On my days off I like to catch up on some reading, go swimming and go to the shops and cook. Love dogs. Don't have one but would be fine if you did, or open to me getting one. I work in Kensington so looking to move to Zetland/Waterloo/Green Square area. Looking for at least 12 months. Somewhere where I can have my own room and bathroom, shared living space, not necessarily bills included but at least WiFi provided and we can split bills equally. Let me know if I sound like a fit!
Im quite a relaxed & happy person by nature. I work outdoors doing Rope Access from 7am-4pm Mon-Fri. Currently I’m very addicted to mobile gaming, so I sit quietly on my phone like, a lot. But otherwise in my personal time, evenings & weekends I’m inclined to read or watch videos & learn online. I’m housetrained eg: I clean up after myself when cooking and am happy to scrub a toilet or the floor, as I am a professional cleaner by trade. I’m punctual and responsible which reguarss rent & responsibilitys. Simply looking for a comfortable nest I can call home & be proud to maybe have a date or mate over for dinner once a month. so a dining table would be great.
Hi, I'm from India. I'll be starting my PhD soon at the University of New South Wales. Apart from studying , I indulge in drawing, writing and other artisitic hobbies. I'm a pleasant person for most part. I will try to accommodate you to the best of my ability without compromising my own self. Also, I'm quite frank. I would rather talk and solve the problems we'd be facing. I'm a little introverted and like to stay in my own world. Despite that, I enjoy interacting with people and will like to stay on friendly terms with my flatmates. I'm open to staying with people from different countries (other than my home country) too and exchange cultural ideas. That seems pretty fun. Last but not the least, I'm a non-smoker and a non-drinker.
Hi! I’m great to live with as I only will be there 3 nights a week! 😃 I live in the mid north coast but work in Sydney 3 or 4 days per week. I work in the corporate world in marketing. I’m easy going, and keep a neat and tidy house.
Hi, I'm Richard and I am a foreign student from Austria. I am looking for a place close to UNSW to stay during my time here in Sydney. Hey! I'm Sarwar, a post-grad student at UNSW studying Linguistics. I'm looking for a furnished single room for at least 4-6 months of stay. I'm an easy-going, co-operative, and open-minded guy, and I love to socialize and spend time with my flatmates, but I also respect their personal space and time. I always try my best to keep the house clean and tidy, especially the social areas such as the kitchen, living room, and bathrooms. I'm usually on board for random exploration plans, trying out new food joints or going out to grab a drink from time to time (given I don't have heaps of readings or exams coming up)!! I do enjoy my FIFA quite a bit; but who said board games can't be fun every now and then eh?! :P Attending a variety of sports events, and other live events are somethings I truly do enjoy too when time and finances permit, ha! I have lived in the US during my undergrad years, and have been in Sydney since July 2017 -- so I understand what it means to live with flatmates and I enjoy the experiences it brings too! Looking forward to what this new semester will hold! Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have! :)
