Hi there, I'm Ronny, I'm a 30yo single professional veterinarian new to Melbourne. I'm originally from New Zealand and have recently lived in London for several years. I am looking for furnished accommodation with own bathroom. My location choices are a rough guess and very flexible. I'm also flexible with my move dates and length of stay as I have temporary arrangements. I'm tidy and respect others spaces, can work fairly long and variable hours, quite independent but enjoy a social flat. I enjoy travel, cuisine, reading and sitting down with a glass of wine or gin. Anything else, feel free to flick me a msg :) Cheers!
I come from Germany and I'm 18 years old. I would appreciate if my flatmate is also down to go out sometimes but doesn't have to be that way. Especially during my work and travel journey I like to have only those things I really need and to keep a certain order. So I would be pleasant roommate.
Hiya!! I've recently moved to Melbourne for work and am looking for a place for a minimum of 3 months while I get to know the city and find my feet here! I'm planning on being here long term and if the flat works out I'd definitely be open to staying longer. I work as an Account Manager for a technology company and love my job, I work usual hours (sometimes longer depending on my workload), Mon-Fri and am pretty quiet during the week although I am enjoying all of the delicious food spots that Melbourne has to offer. In the weekends I am enjoying exploring Melbourne, catching up with friends, brunching, lunching, shopping and I love the beach when the warm weather hits. I'm pretty chilled but am a bit of a clean freak and a very courteous flatmate. I'm always down for a good chat and sharing a meal and a glass of red with the flatties but also have a mutual respect for own space. I'm looking for more of a home vibe rather than a party flat, and I'm an animal lover if you have a furry addition to the house. Given I've not long arrived I don't have any furniture yet so would be awesome if the room has some furniture but not the end of the world either. Ideally, it would be great to be near public transport while I find my way around!! If you have any questions or the perfect room get in touch:)
Hello potential housemates/house owners. Sarah and I (Talea) are moving to Melbourne next year as we are both starting jobs with the same company. We both studied at university in Brisbane and are excited to make the move down. We do not know each other very well as we have just teamed up to move together. We are hoping to find someone else to move into a house/apartment with us in Melbourne. Being near a train station is a must, we will be working in Docklands not far from Southern Cross Station so easy access to that is a priority. Also, we would prefer to have a non-smoker. We would both like to get a place that is less than $300 per week each, including all bills (e.g. internet, power, etc.) Other than that, read a bit about us below. My name is Talea, I am 20 and about to finish my degree is Business. I have spent the last few years living in house sharing accommodations so living with new and different people is not new to me. I really like sports and I am an avid rugby fan. Upon moving to Melbourne, I am hoping to get a cat so I that you would be okay with having one around the place. I am pretty easy going and like to have a laugh watching TV and movies. I also like getting out and about, especially playing sports and I hope to explore Melbourne a lot more when I get there. Also, I have a boyfriend of 3 year who unfortunately can't make the move with me but will be visiting often so you will get to meet him too. I enjoy spending time with others but I like to have space and alone time too so I won't be in your face. I hope to hear from you. I’m Sarah, I’m 23 and starting a job like Talea. For hobbies I like doing crafty things like knitting, sometimes arty things, I also like to read and bake. I’d say travel is my favourite but it’s not something I can do all the time, but I can still try new things here. I want to go explore Melbourne, and see what it has to offer, maybe do some hiking and stuff like that. For exercise I need a friend or to do social sports because I’m so bad at self-motivating. So, I’ll probably join some team or course. My current dream is to grow some plants without killing them, probably succulents because I’m a realist. I like to be friends with my housemates and I’m still really good friends with a few past housemates, but I’m an introvert at heart so you don’t have to worry about me suffocating you with always wanting to hang out. I’ve lived in different share house situations for about 5 years now, I know how to keep a place clean and split duties. So I’d like someone who is keen to hangout and have a chat at times, washes their dishes and won’t shame me for eating raw cookie dough.
** This is not a room for rent, we are looking for a couple who would like to apply for houses with us ** Hey potential flatmates! Me & my lovely housemate Rom are looking to move out of our tiny apartment into a townhouse, and we would love to get a 3 bedroom & have a couple in the master. We are interested in areas located no more than 20 minutes to the CBD, and currently have our eyes on some nice near-new townhouses in Kensington & Brunswick. We're in Kensington at the moment and the location is amazing (10 min train to city, $15ish Uber!) so if we could find something here it would be amazing. Our budget is $700 per week rent (not including bills) split 4 ways. You (the couple) will get the master bedroom (hopefully with an ensuite)! We will respect your privacy as much as we'd want you to respect ours, but would love 2 new friends also :) We hope you'll be a couple that don't fight too much (we understand most couples fight sometimes though, haha) About us: I'm 23 & work full time (planning on studying next year) I work @ Crown so i finish at 2am some nights but come home quietly and jump straight in bed. Other than that I'm either hanging with my boyfriend or friends, watching Netflix, playing video games or catching up on sleep from my painful 2am finishes. Rom is 20, a qualified dancer and studying Personal Training & Fitness, while working part time. We often hang out, watch movies, etc. but love our alone time too :) I'm a decent cook as I attempted my chef apprenticeship before giving up with 1 year left, so I love to cook meals @ home (requests welcome) :) Send us a message and when we find a couple we'd love to move in with & we can meet up for lunch/coffee to chat :) ** Couples only. No room share for friends. ** PLEASE no time wasters because getting to inspections/getting applications in/organizing stufffff can get super stressful!

Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas equal to that of my time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering eachother inside from a third person perspective. I'm looking to start a home home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, completing handyman task, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are only a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.
Working professional, do like quiet times but also like to socialise and looking for a place to call home. Tidy and responsible as I've housesat for many years caring for peoples homes and pets. Originally from Brisbane, now call Melbourne home
Hey I'm Andý, a 19 year old full-time student. Most of my time is filled with study however in my free time I stay fit by going to the gym. I'm very chill, respectful, easy going and clean housemate that knows how to clean and cook. Currently studying a undergraduate Bachelor of Science at The University of Melbourne, from which I aim to complete a Doctor of Dentistry. I'm very social and friendly so getting along with me will not be hard at all.
We are a couple from Ecuador going for our masters in RMIT. We are looking for a clean, peaceful place to live. We are looking for a place starting mid January 2018.
Hi there, I am a friendly person who likes to be out and about most of the time but when at home I'm always up for a bit of a chat, glass of wine or tv show. I enjoy running, socialising with friends, exploring new places and reading. I'm a pretty organised person and like to keep things clean and tidy. Amelia :)
Hey guys, Naj here! I'm a 31yo who has called Brisbane my home for the last 14 years, and I have finally made it down to the cooler city, for work and to be closer to my mum and sis, who moved here a few years back! So I start working for the Victorian Government next week, and am currently staying at my mums until I find the perfect sharehouse home. I've been living in sharehouses in my beautiful West End in Brisbane for the last 7-8 years so I am very house trained. I am very clean, and consider hygiene, doing your chores and washing up after yourselves to be a number one rule of being a cool housemate. I love to chat and socialise with my housemates but I also like my own time and respect your need for some down and alone time too. I love to have good beer and wine and indulge in cooking adventures. I love to share as well and believe the more communal the house is, the more it is a home. As far as what I'm into; I love film, hiking, camping, my yoga practice and riding my bikes. Not in lycra. Just to commute and to be environmentally conscious. I'm also interested in social justice causes and trying to make our world a kinder and sustainable place to live in. (I used to have dreadlocks and did a bit of travel in my mid 20's - totally not a cliché) I also love going to gigs, having a boogie, going to festivals and plays. The abundance of all things art and creative is another reason why Melbourne has drawn me in. I also love dogs and prefer playing records to having the tv on. (and long walks on the beach. heh) I've visited this town many times over the years and I have a few friends scattered around. But I'm looking forward to joining a family sharehouse home where I can put some roots down for awhile and explore this city with local knowledge and insights and characters. That's me in a blurb form, but I would love to meet you all face to face and have a chat in person and see if we fit, and get along, and share the same values. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Well hey! I'm looking for someone to team up with so we can find a nice little place to live. Rent isn't cheap so why not group up :) Looking at properties around 350-400 mark, town houses, newly renovated etc. Currently working in Moonee Ponds so looking around or within 15 or so mins from that area. You know, Glenroy, Essendon. Im pretty chilled, you'll probably just find me playing video games watching movies and TV most of the week. Sociable but appreciate space also. Weekends usually not home or just having a quiet drink around the house. Furnishings wise, I've got a bed and my essentials, but will be filling in the blanks once we are approved. Money is there for whatever we may need as it comes up. Oh and I also have a cat. She's 6, hopefully that doesn't complicate the situation! This will be my first rental out of home but i've been on a lease for 9 years. Who's ready for an adventure
Hey, I'm Flynn :) I'm 19 years old and have been living/flatting in Melbourne for two years now. I'm currently studying at full-time at La Trobe and working at Woolies in Toorak so I'm out and about almost all of the time. I love books, jazz, dogs and paying my bills on time. I'm a pretty passionate cleaner but I don't expect that from others, best of both worlds! Currently looking for a place in the Inner North, so if that's you than give me a bell!
I work in Financial Services in the CBD. I've traveled extensively and continue to travel. I've lived in the UK and have traveled through Europe and Middle East. I also try to see different parts of Australia. I enjoy meeting people, experiencing different cultures and open to new experiences. I travel back to NZ regularly to catch up with family and friends. I'm active, go to the gym most days, I like to think I'm independent, self-sufficient but am happy to ask for directions if I need. I'm looking for short-term accommodation starting end of Oct/Dec potentially longer if it suits flat mate and myself. In addition, I would prefer to stay with 1 person. I have furniture in storage, if possible I'll require a queen bed, drawers, double wardrobe and off-street parking. If I need to get furniture out I can. I'm clean and tidy as well as respective people space and privacy. I'm active so go to the gym most days. Happy to discuss further with potential flatmate.

Hello there ! My name is Caroline, i'm a french Canadian lady on a working holiday visa leaving Sydney to go discover Melbourne. I'm looking for a short term place to stay for about 2 weeks, the time to find a job in the city and establish myself :) I'm a pretty quiet lady and since i've never been to Melbourne before, so you will probably not see much of me as i will want to go explore the city. I plan on staying longer than 2 weeks, but would prefer to find a workplace before engaging myself in a longer term rental. I work in hospitality, enjoy good food, photography and bushwalking. Hit me up if you have something that could work for both of us :) Have a wonderful day !
Hi Back home I am a documentary television producer. I've just finished making a discovery documentary in the Yukon, Canada where I was living in the wilderness for the three months. Originally I am from London I like to be outdoors as much as possible and do a lot of hiking, rock climbing and yoga. When I'm in the city doing anything artsy and being social suits me. I'm a sociable person and would ideally live with people who are up for a natter and a bevvie in the evening , but I also like my own space so would be happy to live in a quieter household. Hope to meet you soon Flynn
