Hey guys. 21 year old female who worlds full Time in the CBD. I'm respectful, clean, polite, quiet but sociable, friendly and organised.
Hey I'm Gianni - Relaxed, mature age (31) full time Botany Honours student at La Trobe, work as a casual TV/film extra and as a casual leather furniture repairer. Born and raised in Melbourne. I am also receieving AUSTUDY which means we can get a 17% discount on electricity bills if I move in with you. In 2013, I quit my office job of 10 years, sold my house and moved to South America where I volunteered on farms and produced a short film in Colombia with local students. I have also backpacked through Asia, Greece and Mexico in the past. I have been living independently and with housemates since 20yrs old. I keep things tidy and respect others and their property. I know how to cook, wash dishes and clean toilets etc., and am willing to learn the house rules/methods. I'm capable, honest, reliable and a good listener. I'm handy with computers and in the garden - I would be happy to assist with any home garden projects :) I am friendly with all animals and have lots of experience setting up/maintaining large aquariums :) I dog-sit my sisters Neopolitan Mastif every now and then. Overall, I have a cheerful, social, positive attitude and am mindful/respectful of the freedoms of others so I tend to get along well with like-minded people who have aspirations or keep busy . I'm looking forward to meeting you and good times ahead., so feel free to contact me -happy to share any information you require :-) Things that are important to me: After many years of the fast & loud lifestyle, these days I tend to prefer a chilled environment. Most of my time is spent in the lab, including nights, so I probably wont be around too much anyway. The basic, common sense things are important to me because they provide a base on which the rest can be built. For example, if housemates are generally caring and respectful to each other and prepared to pitch in equally and keep communication flowing, then it creates a very nice and inviting vibe in the home. Who knows what good things may come when there is a common understanding and trust. Regarding Food, Furniture and Appliances: Although I like to have shared/communal meals, I probably won't have time to participate in that this year while I'm doing Honours, so I will prepare my own meals as per usual. I have an appreciation for all types of cuisines and I will eat just about anything because I have no allergies! I keep a simple but healthy diet by eating a variety of foods and lots of fruit and veg. As far as appliances go, I have: a pretty much new 520L Kelvinator Fridge that is in excellent condition a 6.5kg top loader washing machine also in very good condition a toaster, sandwich press and rice cooker. I also have some kitchenware, plates, bowls, pans etc. And a 50' Plasma TV (but not sure if I'll keep it) As for Furniture, I have a queen bed, desk and bookshelves for my room and a 2 seater plus chaise lounge (can be stored or sold if not needed). Other than that I have some pot plants and a couple of mountain bikes. I'll adjust what I bring over depending on the area and shape of the room I move to :)
I am moving from India to Melbourne in July '17 for my Master's degree in La Trobe University @ Bundoora Campus. I am looking for Part-time jobs to manage my living expenses there. I have 4 years of work experience in Banking & Finance field and hence believe that finding a part time job will be easier. I am a clean, respectful and extrovert person and people find it easy to connect with me and move along. I prioritize cleanliness above everything, however not OCD. I know a bit of cooking - mostly Indian cuisine. I love to socialize and binge-watch tv series now and then. Also, I love pets although I won't be owning one, I would not mind if my flatmates have one!
Hey! I'm a more Dutch than German student coming to Melbourne for a sport-science internship at Victoria University. I've been dreaming about going to Australia since I was a little mud-child in the rainy Germany. I'm looking for a stay from September until January. I love traveling, baking, dancing and relaxing as well as chocolate. If you need a roommate easy to get along with - give me a call. Or first a message. Cheers!
**Moving to Melbourne last week of June. Please don't message unless your place is going to be available from 30th June. Looking for minimum 6 months rental term with option to extend, willing to be flexible on length of lease** I'm an Aussie girl from Perth relocating to Melbourne. Interested in a private furnished room with plenty of wardrobe space (I am a girl after all lol!), prefer to have own bathroom/ensuite, somewhere neat & tidy, close to the city with easy access to public transport. I'll be working full time Mon - Fri in the CBD. I'm friendly, reliable & sociable & currently work in the travel industry, so yeah I can hook you up with a great deal for your holidays ;)
A little about me? I suppose I should start with that I am studying nursing and work in the city. I keep pretty reasonable hours, but on the odd night that I'm the home late, I pride myself on my ninja like ability to sneak into the house and into bed without so much of creak of the floorboards (I've had housemates who were sadly lacking in this skill). I don't watch a huge amount of tv, so you'll have no arguments from me over the remote. Ohh I should mention I'm pretty good at calling out the answers on quiz shows (I get them right about half the time too!) I tend to do my own thing most of the time, as I'm flat out balancing uni, work and occasionally a social life. But like to have the occasional dinner with housemate.
I have been told im a Great Cook and im clean and tidy and respectful. Also a social person love going out for dinners and coffees and catching up with friends. Not a party animal though.
I'm a 29 year old American guy that has just finished backpacking in Asia for a year and now I'm settling in Melbourne for awhile. I'm looking for a place for at least 6 months, potentially longer. I worked in IT for 4 years in Chicago but I'm currently in search of cafe work (hopefully day hours). I'm laid back, considerate, keep things clean and have been told that I'm a very easy person to live with. I enjoy running, biking, and cooking. I'm not a huge party person, but definitely enjoy a few drinks after work and the occasional night out. Since I'm new to the city it would be great to become friends with my future flatmates but it's not a must.
Hi I am Gab! I am a 32 years old, working full-time in education. I am respectful, open, friendly, clean and easy going. I am originally from Ecuador and have lived in Melbourne for 14 years. In terms of sharing a house, I am all for openness, generosity, friendship and community but also understand importance of respecting peoples' space and privacy, and that means keeping things clean and tidy as well! I like cooking, running, doing yoga, music, dancing, hiking and hanging out with family and friends in my spare time! I also love pets so happy to join a house with any pets!!!
Hi there, I'm new to Melbourne - having moved from Queensland. I'll be working for a boutique investment company as a research analyst and a university as a research assistant. I'm most interested in Carlton, Fitzroy, Parkville, Collingwood, Clifton Hill and surrounding areas. But I'll consider most areas within 10-15 mins of the CBD by public transport. Good access to cycle paths would be great. I'm looking for a share house with one or more others, late-20s to early-40s. Ideally, I'm after a fully or semi furnished room. I don't have a lot of belongings, so if you have a house that is fully kitted out and are looking for a flatmate who won't clutter your home with extra book cases (etc), we should talk. I prefer share houses to be more like a home, rather than simply a group of people who share living costs. At the same time, I value my own space and have my own interests, but it's always nice to share a meal/drink with house mates from time-to-time. I'm tidy and know how to use a vacuum cleaner and clean a shower. I enjoy exploring the outdoors and great coffee. If you have a room that you think I might be interested in, I'm keen to hear from you. All the best. PS: Happy to provide referees from my landlord/housemate of 3 years.
Hello, my name's Josh! I've been couch surfing in Melbourne for a month after moving interstate from NSW and would really like to settle down and find a permanent home. I'm a first year science student studying full time at Monash Uni. I'm a friendly, easygoing, sociable guy but am also respectful of others' privacy and while I'm up for a chat I also enjoy some downtime like anyone else. I realise the responsibilities involved in living with others and am a very clean, tidy and reliable person, contributing my fair share to ensuring the place is in good condition and rent is paid on time. Lover of all animals and would be totally down to live with pets of any kind. Am open to living with any and all kinds of people but would prefer to live with other students or people around my age. As I'll have uni nearly everyday it's quite important that public transport is nearby, and it would be especially amazing if I could find a place close to the Clayton campus. Also open to start/join a group of others looking for housing - send me a message if you'd like to know more about me or if you have a room available and thanks!
Canberra raised and looking for an unfurnished room in the the inner north after calling Carlton North home for two years. Work as Sales Consultant 9to5 also study post grad in procurement part time. Enjoy producing music or playing around on my decks, going to the gym and playing bball in my free time. Keen to join a household that's up for occasional hangouts or shared meals. I'm easy going, open minded and considerate. Looking for a long term home and not just a house.
Hey there! My name's Maria, I come from Spain and I'm 28. I'm starting a PhD at the Doherty Institute here in Melbourne and I'm looking for a warm place to live. I'll be working full-time during weekdays and I'll probably have to work at home, but I enjoy chatting while drinking some wine or beer in my free time, watching netflix, reading... I enjoy some time alone as well, but I'm overall a social, joyful and positive person who likes spending time with her mates. I'm a quite active person, I love doing sport and attending to dance classes and I like having a healthy lifestyle. I'm also very tidy and respectful. Just message me if I sound like someone you'd like as a mate and hopefully friend and confident!:))

I'm working full-time in medical imaging. I'll be working in Richmond for 3 months then in the western suburbs for the remainder of the year. I play hockey in Footscray and like to keep a relatively active and healthy lifestyle. I'm well house trained, have been living in various styles of share houses over a number of years. I always pay my bills and rent on time, and keep common areas clean. I enjoy being social with housemates but understanding of personal space when needed.
Hey Guys, I’m moving back to Melbourne after a stint in London and I need somewhere to live! I’m great to live with because I'm a neat FREAK (I’ve been known to do laundry when drunk) and I’m also an expert at ordering in (in the past 3 months I’ve cooked 5 times), although don’t let that deceive you because I’m still an alright cook. Another great thing is that I’m a ‘social media expert’ well that’s what my colleagues in London called me so I’m always there to help you draft the perfect insta caption. Part of my neat-freakiness is that I don’t throw parties at home so you don’t need to worry about me trashing the place, and I also have my twin brother’s Netflix account (free to use) which honestly is a pretty good deal. I’m pretty easy with where I live as long as it’s central to the city. My goal is to live near/on a tram line because prior to London I was confined to Williamstown… So hit me up if you want some sass in your life because I’ll bring it in bucketloads.
Hi! My Partner Tim and I are looking for a Team-up to find a place in the western inner suburbs of Melbourne! Tim is a full time Mechanical Electrician who enjoys playing golf and staying fit. I (Laura) Am studying nutrition at uni and work in hospitality on the weekends and also like to exercise. We are both very easy going and friendly. We love a good chat but also understand everyone needs there own space and private time. Both clean people who are more than happy to do our share of keeping the house clean. We have both come from previous rentals and lived out of home for 1 1/2 years and are good with money, bills, rent and looking after ourselves. We are interested in teaming up with two other people who are easy going, relaxed and clean! Both of us are available to move out any date. If anyone is interested or wants to know more don't hesitate to ask. Thanks, Tim & Laura
I'm really laid back but likes to work hard and generally enjoy life, I enjoy cooking and cleaning and will always look after my room. I love to play and watch sports and keep myself healthy and active. I am traveling alone and looking for 1 bed for next month, hope someone can help.
Needing a room oh so quickly! In between jobs at the minute, moreso just getting back up on my two feet from being quite ill last 12 months due to a workplace accident. I will be at home during the days (till a job presents itself), only using my laptop. So, No I won't be running up heaters/ aircons just because I'm home. Money is not an issue! I'm quite the introvert, tho in a social setting I'm said to be funny as hell. I'm super clean, very much the clean freak. Very handy around the home and quite easy to get along with. Looking to share with similar peeps.
