I have been told im a Great Cook and im clean and tidy and respectful. Also a social person love going out for dinners and coffees and catching up with friends. Not a party animal though.
Greetings :) We are a young professional same-sex couple seeking a teamup for a roomy shared townhouse (or such) in Melbourne, Carlton/ Carlton North or inner East/ North Melbourne. We are both comfortable, clean, easy-going, and love good chats and a bit of fun every now and then but also really value some down-time and rest after a long day of work. We currently live in a cosy apartment in South Yarra, our lease is ending on the 15th of May and we wish to secure a place by early-mid April at the latest. What kind of home we are looking to share: Our main goals with our new home is to reduce the amount of rent we are paying currently and have a bigger home with a roomy backyard and living area. We are looking to team up with 2 other people (don't mind couples) for a 3 bedroom house/ townhouse. Our main requirements are a minimum of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (preferably ensuites), a backyard, for the location to be within 10-20km of Melbourne CBD, divided rent up to $600 pcm (exc bills). We have an adorable fluffy feline son named Wilbur who is about 6.5 years old, he is a very calm and well-natured cat. His only activities include intermittently switching from deep sleeping, intense eating and purry snuggling. He is incredibly comfortable and loving with new people, clean, and very self-sufficient. He does occasionally want to play and have a bit of a run around but his most loved activity is curling up to sleep. A little bit about us: We both have full-time 9-5 jobs during the week and prefer quiet evenings during the week, occasionally having dinners with friends every now and then but that is the most we do on weeknights - reserving most of our going out/ socializing and such to weekends. We have a good small bunch of close friends who we love seeing as often as time and energy permits. We love a bit of a boogie once or twice a month whether it be in the form of a cosy little house party or a 5 day doof out in the bush. Despite this, we aren't huge party animals and strongly value a good work, rest, play balance. As housemates, we love cleanliness but also understand that with full-time work and a busy lifestyle sometimes a pristine, perfect home is not always achievable. This is absolutely okay with us but we would always ensure that a thorough clean-up is done at least once a week. We also love a friendly environment at home, having a chat over a smoke, tea or wine once in a while but some nights we just want to retreat into the couch or our bedroom and sleep or binge watch Netflix or documentaries. We also love plants, candles, incense, art, all kinds of music and prefer eating a predominantly cruelty-free, vegan diet. What we are looking for in housemates: - a reliable, honest and compassionate person - transparency and trust-worthiness - MUST be LGBTIQ+ friendly and aware - relatively clean and cat friendly - easy-going, open-minded, well read and responsible - someone who matches similarly to our profile, has a sound work, rest, play balance What we don't want in housemates: - excessive drinking, partying, etc - expectations to socialize all the time - cat allergies/ dislike If this sounds like you or we sound like people you would see yourself living with - hit us up with a little bit about yourself, include your favorite film or song and why you love it. Happy house hunting x
Hey there! My name's Maria, I come from Spain and I'm 28. I'm starting a PhD at the Doherty Institute here in Melbourne and I'm looking for a warm place to live. I'll be working full-time during weekdays and I'll probably have to work at home, but I enjoy chatting while drinking some wine or beer in my free time, watching netflix, reading... I enjoy some time alone as well, but I'm overall a social, joyful and positive person who likes spending time with her mates. I'm a quite active person, I love doing sport and attending to dance classes and I like having a healthy lifestyle. I'm also very tidy and respectful. Just message me if I sound like someone you'd like as a mate and hopefully friend and confident!:))

Easygoing bloke moving to Melbourne for work. Looking for a share house not too far from the city. Get in touch!
Super easy going, great music taste (if I can say so myself), likes a good doco, likes a good wine, can't surf (despite my picture), respectful of others & can help you with your tax. I work full time as an accountant (hence the tax offer) and am looking for a new place closer to work.
Hello! I am a 25 year old, gay, Aussie, student nurse, I like to live in a friendly house where people mix a little but that's not a deal breaker I am easy going and like a laugh, usually thrive wherever I am and I am well trained in being a good housemate :)
HEY GUYS! Katie, 18, carpenter. I'm super fun but also enjoy relaxing by myself. I'm the girl with a Jeep Wrangler and loves anything adventurous. I have had to look after myself since 14 so I’m not your typical 18 year-old as I’m extremely independent. I’m more then happy to help out with cooking as I enjoy making yummy food and I clean up after myself. I worked at Grill'd for over a year so i can make the best burgers you'll ever eat! Don't smoke Allergic to cats LOVE DOGS I'm looking for a house with a few people in it that are positive, friendly and would see each other as a friend, not just people who rent rooms in the same house! I'm super happy all the time and just love having a laugh.
I am a female 25 years old, working full time in marketing. I'm easy going, friendly and clean. I am well traveled, I lived in London most of last year and Sydney most of my life.' I enjoy socialising, traveling, weekend adventures and a good wine over dinner. Non-smoker, looking for similar flat mates to myself.
Hey guys! How are you doing? My name is Luis, I'm 26, Venezuelan, civil engineer, living in Melbourne for one year now, at the moment working mon-frid in the construction industry and studying a Diploma in Leadership two nights a week. I'm looking for a place to move in in about 3 weeks and I'm looking for something where I can socialize with the people that I'm living with, more than a place to only go to sleep and eat. This is something really important to me at the moment, I want to make some friends at home more than just live with some people that I'd never see. I'm pretty busy working and studying during the week, but I'd love to share time with the flatmates on the weekends over a meal, a party, some beers, a movie or whatever. I like to travel, hangout on weekends with the flatmates, enjoy a beer at home or whatever you plan. I'm open minded, always up to have a chat with the people that I'm living, easy going, clean and ordered (I like the places where everyone give a hand with the cleaning and housekeeping to keep the place clean and ordered as a home instead of a crazy dirty house). If I sound the kind of person you are looking for please send me a message or even if you'd like to know a bit more about me!
I am looking for a place to share where housemates have respect for each other's boundaries & personal lives & communicate with each other in a courteous & respectful manner, & its a FAIR & equitable home environment, with ensuite or seperate bathroom or granny flat, in quiet and clean surrounds & warm & kind household. I am fun to be with, sociable yet like the quietness in the household. Not a party animal. My adorable cavoodle is very clean, very friendly, & quiet & very well behaved & professionally house-trained and is the ideal household pet. Independent, clean and tidy and respectful of other peoples boundaries and expect the same from others.Friendly, love to cook, have a glass of wine occassionally. In my free time, I go jogging and help with various charities.
Hi my name is Andrew. I've moved to Melbourne from Scotland recently. I'm very laidback and easy going, I'm clean and tidy. I've lived in shared flats in my younger years in Scotland and I'm very respectful of shared areas and providing people with privacy when needed. But I'm also not adverse to an occasional shared dinner and bit of sociable time together. I'm starting a course for some professional qualifications on the 3rd April to help me make some networking contacts and bridge the gap of employment between countries. I've also arranged for an internship to begin after the 10 weeks of coursework. I'm currently staying with a childhood friend in the city, but he has a young family and no space for this to become a long term option. I'm looking for somewhere that I can settle for the next 6 months to get my feet under me, make some new friends, take in the sights and learn more about the city.
I'm a people person and I love community (that includes the TV show as well). I'm a muso and a sports fan, and I'm down to adventure around with the house-fam (mad rhymes, I know). I am fairly clean and organized and hopefully, I'll be a good laugh too! :)
I am Chinese, currently working in the hospitality industry in Moonee Ponds in the evenings. I am clean and tidy. Enjoy running in the Queens Park, cooking, hanging out with friends and traveling etc. I do not watch TV much, plus I work in the evenings, I think that might be good for u to have a lot of space for yourself in the evenings. Generally respect others, laid back and responsible. Love to have my own space, equally enjoy, a glass of wine and share a meal over some good chats with my flatmates. After all, it is a place that we call home. I am a hard worker, mature, enjoy good conversations, adventurous, open-minded, welcome all different cultures and background. If you are looking for someone who is respectful, clean, easy-going, laid back and loves good conversation and traveling. I'd love to hear from you.

I am clean, organized, respect privacy, mellow and overall a curious person with lots of interests including arts, technology, nature and politics. Love spending time exploring, but also chilling out at home. I was born in El Salvador and grew up in San Francisco. Fluent in Spanish and English.
Moving to Melbourne for work an am currently staying with friends in Flemington until i can find a share place of my own. Im tidy and respectful of my housemates, enjoy a good laugh and sharing a meal and a beer or two, but im also concious of personal space and enjoy my own too. I work in animal welfare and have a pet cat named Pan. She is well behaved, playful and has loads of character. Im 32, smoke (but happy to do so outside) im gay and currently have a partner so will be spending a few nights a week at his place. I love to travel whenever i can and enjoy getting out and about.
Hi I'm Matilda :) I'm currently a first year nursing student at the Australian Catholic University. I'm super friendly, clean and tidy. I'm looking for a place closer to uni because travelling an hour and a half (one way) to uni everyday just isn't viable. I'm super easy going and like to keep to myself at times but I also enjoy socializing... I love to read and stay active (think running, yoga, Pilates) I'm looking for a private room with rent and internet included, as well as being close to public transport as I don't have my license yet.
Looking for a place that is within walking distance to a train station (12min max) since I don't really want the hassle of owning a car. Hopefully, a shared house where people clean up their own mess as I make sure that I clean mine up. Currently working full time in the Western side of Melbourne. Outside of that I usually waste my time by going to the gym, city, and reading about useless stuff. Also willing to team up to find accommodation.
Moving to Melbourne around June to look for full-time work as an Exercise Physiologist (similar to a physiotherapist). I enjoy rock climbing (indoors and outdoors), being outdoors and general activities outdoors (bushwalks, slacklining, snorkelling) aswell as a few Friday drinks to relax and prepare for the weekend. I am a big fan of watching all sports. I am also very sociable, open-minded, neat & tidy and really really looking forward to making new friends in a new city!
I am clean, respectful, responsible, and friendly. I spend my time rock climbing, doing yoga, cooking, and hanging out with friends. I eat healthy and don't really party, but I love being social and having a good time. I lived in Melbourne for about 8 months in 2010, so I'm familiar with the culture and looking forward to coming back! I'm from Richmond, VA, in the States, but have spent about three years working, living, and traveling abroad. I am not arriving in Melbourne until June, but my plan is to spend about three months working and and saving money living in Melbourne, and then travel to the Grampians, Arapiles, Tasmania, Sydney, and the Blue Mountains.
