I am an open minded and young at heart Social Worker and am moving from Adelaide to Melbourne to work in homelessness in St Kilda. I am clean and tidy & have a good understanding of housemate ediquette as I have lived with many people from all over the world. I like to share dinners/watch films with housemates sometimes but also give my roommates space.I have grown out of the whole party stage, dont smoke or do drugs but do enjoy a glass of wine. I am community minded and enjoy travel, music, human rights, dinners with friends, meditation, salsa dancing (beginner) the arts, board games and films. I love Melbourne and am looking foward to finding some chill housemates (mid twenties to late 30s) to share with.I am flying into Melb on 26th may and hope to find a place by 3rd june. Richmond, Prahan etc would be ideal but I also have friends in the Kensington area. p.s I cook a mean daal.
Hi, I moved to Melbourne a few weeks ago and found a temporary accommodation in Kew but I have to move out in July (~6th). I am looking for in a clean and quiet house for a long term stay. I am social, respectful, quiet, clean and also enjoy hanging out with my housemates. I am pharmacist and work full time during week. P.S. The suburbs I have selected are RANDOM and I don't mind if there is a room available in other suburbs as far as it has easy access to CBD.
Hello! I'm originally from San Francisco, USA and am now a vet student at the University of Melbourne. I'm great to live with because I'm quiet, clean, and respectful. Definitely not a party animal, but I enjoy a nice glass of beer or wine at the end of the day. I do like having my own space at times, but would also like to have flatmates that I can have a friendly chat with now and then. I do have a cat, and although he's a bit of a scaredy cat and might hide out in my room a lot, I'd like to find a place where he can be part of the household. I'm fairly flexible with location, as long as it is relatively easy to get to Melbourne Uni. My move-in date and preferred length of stay are also flexible.
Hello, I'm Tara. I am 31 and I run my own graphic design business (got a new office), and sometimes do casual reception work in South Melbourne. I MAY NEED EXTRA STORAGE SPACE, SO I AM LOOKING FOR ONE ROOM in a sharehouse. I would prefer a sharehouse which is fairly clean, inhabited by working adults, not students. My budget is about 200. I would consider sharing an apartment if it is modern and well-insulated. Based in the inner Western suburbs. Prefer staying in West Footscray/Yarraville/Kingsville/Kensington/Seddon/Spotswood. Awesome things about me: - self-sufficient (I never steal food. I provide for myself) - private, quiet, busy - health-conscious. I never eat meat at home. - drug-free, debt-free - I clean as I go Personality: Quiet, but can be talkative when it comes to certain subjects. Mentally strong, smart. I have a sense of humour. I'm an introvert, not an extrovert. I can be civil and friendly, but I'm not your psychologist! Hobbies: Dancing, YouTubing, reading, traveling. I think we would get along if you are: - someone who likes to sleep by midnight - not an alcoholic (my definition is...you drink every day). I drink socially about once or twice a week. - busy and have real hobbies - are in a good place financially (working, between the age of 28 to 45) - understand that I'm paying rent for privacy, peace and quiet - clean, but not OCD clean - no shouting at me; please approach in a calm and civil manner to discuss issues I did public speaking for four years and I am passionate about communication. Texting and emailing can often lead to misunderstandings. If the issue is major, speak to me in person or call. Choose the right communication mode! These rules would go for me too! I would prefer to share with maximum two other people, to keep things simple. I can afford up to 200 per week, preferably inclusive of bills. I would only be using the room for sleeping at night/extra storage. I am very busy during the day at my office. To summarize, I am looking for one bedroom in a non-complicated, small sharehouse for extra storage. Thanks very much; hope to speak to you soon. Tara

I'm 25 from Melbourne pretty easy going and accepting of all kinds of people. I'm open minded and very adaptable. I respect personal space but don't mind having a chat or drink here and there. I'm an artist so I come with many books, paintings and crafty things. I love gardening an fresh flowers.
Friendly and tidy mature female looking for easy going housemate(s). I'm doing my masters degree at the moment and working part-time. I would prefer a quiet household where I can study from home, but don't mind hanging out or going out a few hours a week. Preferred area is Parkville, but happy to venture out a bit further if there is a train station nearby or trams direct to Parkville under 30 minutes commute.
Will join Melbourne as a student of University of Melbourne in July. Looking for a room with single bed option, no bunk beds (coz I'm kinda claustrophobic). An easy-going person and pretty friendly. Love a good chat but also respects personal space. Can't wait to meet my new roomies. See ya soon! :)
Hi I am an international student doing master and looking for a flat with lovely roommates. I would usually stay at uni at working time and enjoy living a healthy life. Travelling and music are my love and I practice guitar for a little while per week ( just quiet and folk I am willing to share domestic chores and prefers a quiet home lifestyle. And I would like to hang out as well as chilling home just chatting at weekends :)
Hey guys, I would say that I'm fairly easy going and love a chat, laugh and occasionally a glass of wine. I also like my "me time" and live a busy life so don't worry I won't be too in your face. I really enjoy dancing, playing tennis and going to gigs and also work for a recruitment agency based in Kensington. Hit me up :)
I’m a creative! I’m working as a stylist, I love my job and working on art ( currently working on children’s books) as well as attending art events in our lovely city! I’m very friendly and I can keep to myself. I like hanging out and watching movies and have a chat after work. I love to cook, I’m a vegan (Not going to hate you if your not) and I can make pretty much any dish vegan💪🏻🌿 I’m tidy and I like to keep things clean, it just makes life easier I think 💕 I’m looking for a place that is keeping with the happy vibes and is cozy for Melbourne winter nights. I’m pretty open, friendly and I do like respect and good communication :) I’m not a party animal, I much prefer to enjoy a cup of tea and rugging up on the couch sketching and sharing a movie I’ve been in student accomodation and share houses before so I am an experienced and considerate house mate 💪🏻🌿 I have a 14 year old grandma doggo she’s Maltese terrior cross poodle even though she acts more like a cat and looks like a teddy bear, she is very chill and goes with me everywhere. I have a certificate to say that she can stay with me to show any landlord if needed. Some time in the future I will be receiving a golden retriever service puppy to train as a little helper. Non smoker Not 420 friendly.
I’m a student who works in the city part time. I currently am studying at RMIT to get my applied bachelors in logistics and scm. I’m from the country but I’ve been living in the city for the past 5 years so I’d consider myself somewhere between a melbournite and a country boy. My hobbies are sport, music, games and food so as long as I’m doing something that involves one of those 3 or I’m with friends then I’m happy. I’d lived in a few share houses so I’m good to live with and I know the basic sharehouse requirements - keep the house clean, try not to break anything and keep the noise down.
Hi! Let’s get the boring stuff out of the way first: I'm moving from Sydney to find a place to call home long-term in Melbourne, the best city in the country. Leaning towards unfurnished but it’s not a dealbreaker, a backyard, good shower pressure, walkable to a train/tram stop and a dryer are happy bonuses but not requirements, decent internet is a must, I’m LGBTQI+ friendly, I LOVE cats, I ride a motorcycle so parking isn’t an issue, and I am not a fan of spiders or bugs. Now onto the important stuff: I’m taking control of my life and moving to a city I love to pursue a new career in scriptwriting. I was a VR and game developer and i’ll be doing that freelance from time to time. I travel a lot, I can cook (and intend to subscribe to HelloFresh again when I move in, which means i’m down to cook for the house a few times a week), I’ll be auditioning like mad to every amateur theatre group within convenient distance, I’ve always got one song or another stuck in my head, I'm learning the synth and I’m volunteering for the Lifeline suicide prevention hotline. I won't have a full time job when I get move in but I do have a modest trust fund, so I'll never miss a rent or bill payment and I’ll be getting a part time job once i’m settled in. I've lived in share houses before so I know the drill, regular cleaning and respect for common areas and not eating other peoples food and all that. I also come with all sorts of handy house stuff like a big TV, microwave and kitchen stuff if we need it, otherwise I’ll sell it. Oh yeah, and a room-scale VR headset you can play with :D And here’s the biggest thing: This is probably gonna sound odd, but I've come to Melbourne to look for a home with an atmosphere that fosters creativity. That doesn't necessarily mean that it's full of painters and musicians and the like (although that'd be awesome), it means I'm looking for a certain vibe of collaboration or camaraderie, a home rather than a house. I reckon that's more important than details like whether or not there's a dryer or distance to public transport, who you live with is more important than where you live. If any of that resonates with you and your housemates, I’m available for viewings whenever! Thanks for reading all that Adam
I am Abhas, from India, studying at RMIT, pursuing my Masters degree in Data Science. I came to Melbourne last year in July. As my lease for 1 year ends in the mid of July, I am looking for a place to move in. I am an easy going, carefree, and love to cook. I can cook almost anything. Love music. I am not a loud person. And a great company to hang out with. :)
Hi there, Im 21 and work full time for an electrical engineering and testing company. I enjoy listening to music, cooking and the outdoors. During the week i am usually fairly busy so would keep to myself. I am tidy and respect other people's privacy.
I'm a 21 year old music student studying at Victoria Uni. I'm currently overseas and will be back on the 14th of June so I'll need a place anytime after then. I'm a singer/songwriter so I can occasionally be loud while practicing and recording but always try to save this for when no one's home. I like chill nights to myself but am always down for Netflix bingeing with roomies and for a drink or 3 at the local pub.
I’m a pretty easy going person, friendly and keen on hanging out but also respectful of everyone’s space. Organized and clean, responsible and reliable. I’m always cheerful, try to focus life into a postive way and surround myself of the same kind of people. I love dancing and singing as well as yoga!!!
Hey! I've been looking for someone who is fun and clean to sign a lease with me anywhere near Melbourne CBD or someone who has a room to rent with own bathroom/toilet. I'm a Solution Consultant and work from home on most days unless I have to be on-site. So if you are my housemate and need help with IT related stuff, there will be no service charge :p I'm easy going, not fussy and loves trying out new food along with a beer or two, especially after a long day @work. I am an open book, respects privacy and appreciate honesty. Would be great if I can find someone similar to live with :)
Hey, Vishaal this side. I am a full-time masters student at unimelb. I am a tidy person and someone who loves to keep everything clean around. I m a quiet person, not a party animal but cool with socializing and having small chats. Looking for long term and will move here in July.
Hi I'm Ben, I'm a 30 year old civil engineer looking for a home. I work a 9-5 job (usually a bit longer) and enjoy making the most out of my time off. I'm looking for people who have good social skills, are tidy, respect their fellow housemates, are responsible and are more than happy to make friends.
Hey, future bestie! I'm an international student at the University of Melbourne, with major in Construction Management. Pure Armenian raised in Russia. Have lots of cultural backgrounds to share! Passionate about languages, now speaking English, Armenian, Russian and currently learning Spanish. My life goal is to speak 10 different ones. I consider myself as mature, hard-working person. Always clean up everything after myself and respect others. I believe that my freeness end where another persons begin. I am easy going and positive, with high hygiene standard. Sometimes need time for myself though (kinda introvertish) I love European food, exceptionally crazy about Italian... mmm... lip-smacking! Recently fell in love with the Indian and Chinese kitchen as well. Also, I could sell my soul for a good apple cider or vine, not an alcoholic though:) Oh, btw, I have an awesome red motorbike, so grab a helmet and hop on the bike for a windy ride! If you've read till this point and think that we share common values and interests, I would be happy to share living space with you! I'm looking for a place for at least 6 months or more (1 year or more). Feel free to drop a message!
