Hi, Im a friendly, social being who likes a tidy house. I've lived in all sorts of share situations - sharing food, going it alone, cleaning as needed and keeping to a strict roster. I'm reliable and organised - hopefully this doesn't mean I'm not fun! I like to think I am and love a good bonding/gossip sesh and a laugh. Like to share teas/wines/beers as they happen and have no problems grabbing washing off the line before rain, watering pot plants when others are away and picking this up from the shops on the way home. I'm an urban planner working for state gov full time, a country girl at heart I'm a fan of a bit of gardening. My current house has chickens which I love and am sad to be leaving. I have a super affectionate cat and an entire house of furniture to contribute (although I'd happily discuss letting some of it go if needed). Looking to move by May 15 either into a great existing sharehouse or start a new one. My location preference is super-free, I'm only in need of a train within 10mins walk or a 1/2 hr easy bike ride to the cbd.
I am Carolina from Colombia. A very calm person and easy going girl who likes to meet new people from anywhere around the world, I like socialising but also like to have my own space sometimes and respect others space as well. I enjoy travelling, exercising, reading, listening to music, dancing, hanging out with friends, watching movies and trying new restaurants and cool places. I am very clean and tidy and wish to live at a place where people clean after themselves. I like honesty and good communication to avoid any kind of misunderstandings and make a good living possible. I am looking for a furnished room at a house or flat, I will arrive to Melbourne on february 20th, and im trying to find a place ideally close to Victoria University where I will be studying. LAURA: I am Laura, a psychology student, I am a very easy going person and I like traveling. Im vegetarian and I really enjoy clean places.
I am a 20 year old university student who grew up in Singapore. I love a great night with friends in addition to being passionate about sport and music. I am really easy going and flexible with having people over. I am a people person and love to get to know new people.
My name is Michael, I am a 23 year old coffee professional from Perth and moving to Melbourne at the beginning of March. I am starting a job as a coffee trainer for an awesome company in Collingwood and will be working 5-6 days per week. I enjoy coming home to relax with a tasty beer or wine, some good conversation and a movie. On my nights and days off I enjoy exploring the city for new places to eat and drink and spend my holidays snowboarding as much as possible! I have been renting for the last 6 years including in Melbourne, Perth and Switzerland and have never been late with any payments. I am trustworthy, clean and considerate and excited to find my new home!
Hi I'm Eileen I studied photography back in Perth and moved down to Melbourne last year to pursue my career. I now work as a waitress for financial support. I enjoy art and galleries, drawing, casual drinking, board games and clubbing. I'm easy-going, LGBT+ friendly and a deep sleeper (so I won't complain about people vacuuming in the morning cos I don't even know that happened anyway). I would like to social and meet new people, have a few drinks at night and do not mind to have a bit of party in the house. I love animals. I have been living with dogs, rabbits and I took care of my housemates' fish tanks and rabbit while they were away. I'm after a clean tidy house where everyone is respectful and responsible to maintain the public area. It would also be great to move into a house where people talk to each other instead of hiding in their own rooms. Furnished/ unfurnished room will be fine as I have my own bed and desk. Please let me know if you think I'm suitable for your house. Thank you.
Hello, My name is Sandy, I am 23, a mechanical engineer, moving to Melbourne in March. Indian by passport but grew up between India, England and Malaysia. First time in Australia. I cook decent pasta and Indian food but only when I am in the mood for it. Vegetarian by choice, And I tend to keep my room, kitchen (if i do cook) and bathrooms clean.
We are a Chilean couple traveling to Melbourne with a working holiday visa, and we are looking for a quiet place to live in. Both of us are very clean and tidy, as well as considerate, polite, respectful, calm and easygoing. We love sports and nature. We are professionals from the Humanities / Arts area. We are non-smokers.
I've just moved over to Melbourne for one/two years after an amazing year in New Zealand. I'm very chilled and sociable to live with. I will be working full time Monday to Friday and I plan on adventuring & socialising at the weekend. I would be happiest in a social house, the more people the better, where people are respectful of other's sleep during the week. My weekends and free time will consist of trips away, gigs, trying out new hobbies and meeting new people.
Working in Footscray at VU and away from my family and looking to find a nice room to allow me to relax on travelling long hours instead of traveling up and back to Traralgon daily. I'm committed to paying the weeks rent however I won't be staying every night as I'll head home to the wife and kids a fair bit.
I am a 26 yr old full time working professional. I'd say I'm very considerate, clean, quiet and humerous. Looking for house mates that are maybe a little too clean but laid back at the same time if you exist? Im fine with keeping to myself but if we have things in common I'd be down for a chat and I'll probably talk you into eating whatever I'm cooking. I don't mind confrontation so if you ever want to tell me to shutup or take the bins out I'd be cool with that.
Hi, I'm from California and have been in Melbourne since early February. I'm clean, respectful, quiet yet communicative, and friendly. I like to explore the city while taking photos, volunteer, learn languages, and keep healthy.
About me: I'm a book reader. Tea lover. Cat owner. I'm laid back and easy going. Socially minded. I enjoy the occasional after work drink, a shared meal or just good food in general. I'm interested in the arts, science, Netflix. In my spare time I enjoy boxing, board-games and catching up with friends. All in all, as a person I'm friendly, open-minded and warm. I'm not fussy, but clean. Happy to be social, but also happy to give you your personal space. I don't mind sharing things/groceries, as long as we are respectful of each others stuff. Plus I always pay my bills on time. About my cat: She is very very house friendly and has experience living with other cats. My current landlord is also happy to provide a reference for her :)

I'm a 32 year old Pilates instructor and lapsed graphic designer who has recently moved home to suffocating, small town Brisbane after a 3.5 year stint living in Hackney, London. I'm an easy going kinda gal into all the usual things such as art, music, travel, food, wine, dogs, hating Trump etc etc. I'm looking to find some easy going, like minded housemates who may turn into some great pals or at least acquaintances that know how to use a sponge. I'm also good with a sponge, can whip up a Pescatarian friendly meal, pet friendly (dog obsessed) very independent and happy to do my own thing but always up for a wine/beer/cuppa and a chat. Although I'll be new to Melbourne (half of Brisbane has moved there let's be honest) I do have some friends down there already so no babysitting is required but I would love to meet some new people through my housemates and potentially build some sweet new friendships. My wild party days are well and truly behind me (did they ever really exist?) but I do still love a good gathering of friendly folk. I'm also up for checking out all Melbourne has to offer so anything cultural (exhibitions, dance performances, gigs) op shopping and market visits I'll be down for and always happy to have company. I'm also excited to explore the rest of Victoria and have a functioning vehicle in order to make all the road trips happen, all the time *pending my cars ability to make it down to Melbourne in one piece. Although I'm still in Brisbane currently, I have functioning phone and internet if you'd like to organise a chat or a Facetime or the likes. I will also be down for a visit next Tuesday-Thursday (28th Feb - 2nd March) So happy to pop in for a visit then. Anyhoo if you'd like to know more please feel to get in touch. Looking forward to meeting my new Flatmates very soon! Luisa :)
Hi! I'm Anastasia, a 19 year old undergrad from LaTrobe Uni. I recently moved back to Australia to study after living overseas for several years. I'm very responsible when it comes to committing to agreements and I also try to maintain a pretty clean and tidy space. So I hope we can be great flatmates in the near future!
Hi! my name is Eden and I am 19 years old. I am working part time in retail and also working as a reservist in the Royal Australian Airforce. I am tidy, respectful and have experienced shared accommodation in the past so I get the gist of it all. My hobbies include cooking, playing guitar and exercising. I am looking for a place within the inner west/ inner northern suburbs, with close access to public transport.

I'm a quiet but very friendly person. I will get along with anyone as long as everyone is treated respectfully and cleanliness is maintained.
We are very clean and friendly, always willing to give a hand if needed. We can both cook (Tenzin is a pizza chef), we like to be social and also hide away in our rooms when exams are nearby. We both are full-time students at La Trobe university, I study Science (Bio-chemistry) and Tenzin studies International relations. We are quiet and respectful, but do go out sometimes for drinks too. We have both worked and saved over the summer and both work during the semester. We lived at on campus accomodation during 2016 and always payed our rent/bills on time.

I've lived in share houses for the past 6 years so I know the drill. I grew up in Essendon so looking for a place in Melbourne's north/northwest, for 12 months plus.
Hey legends. Here's me at 33, trying to settle down, appreciate the small things, ya know? Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy a drink and a sick party on the weekends but I'm more likely to find salvation in the pages of a book, the midst of a conversation or a meal on the stove than at the bottom of a bottle on a Tuesday night. I work 4 days a week as a web developer but I still harbour secret thoughts that the book I wrote last year will spark into a career as a journalist - that's what my fifth day is for - writing.
Hey there, I'm Mez (Or Maryanne), I'm 28, I work in advertising (Richmond) and I also study part time. I'm just looking for a chilled place to live that is close to the city, has parking & is around $250 a week. I have a few bits of furniture if needed & happy to make cocktails for housemates ;) I keep pretty busy but I also like having a home to relax in. I'm pretty respectful of other peoples space and usually up for a weekend BBQ or music gig. Hoping to move around March 5th. Happy to answer anymore questions.

I am looking for a room to live in while doing my exchange semester at the Victoria University. I am originally from Germany and studying sports at the German Sports University Cologne. I will fly over to Australia on February the 18th. Right now I am living in a flat-share with a boy and a girl, so I am very used to sharing the kitchen and the bathroom. I know how to do my cleaning duties and I will do my very best to keep the shared rooms clean and tidy. I like to have a nice little chat, a tea, some wine, a beer or a dinner together in the evening, but I also like to have some privacy, that is why i would prefer a personal room. In my freetime I like to do almost any kind of sports, especially football, running and climbing and I love to spend time outside the house, like going for a walk or having a coffe. I would describe myself as a curious, communicative and open minded person. Looking forward for your message! Vicky

My price range is preferably up to about $250 pw + bills, though I’m able to pay more as well. I’m also able to pay bond, and I'm reliable with rent. I’m looking for a place to call home whilst in Melbourne and would also like to hang out with you / cook dinner together / go out every once in a while if you're up for that. I’m not a heavy partyer, but I do like the occasional party. I have experience from shared living spaces and will happily take part in chores around the house/flat. I actually like vacuum cleaning and emptying the dishwasher / doing the dishes, so I’m happy to contribute extra with this :) Some more info about me: I’m from Norway and I usually study chemistry there, but I’m finishing my bachelor’s degree at the University of Melbourne this semester. I love animals, music and travelling, and I’m a vegetarian (but it won’t be a problem for you). I obviously don’t have any household items to bring into a sharehouse, but I will happily buy / chip in for anything needed!

Hi! I'm a friendly, positive, low key housemate. I aim to contribute warmth and care to the home and express a generous spirit whenever I can. Very respectful of diverse needs and flexible to create a wonderful and harmonious home with my housemates. I value clear, honest and respectful communication. I work a few jobs but my main field is disability and arts. Am 34 years old (but have friends ranging from their 20s to their 60s!). Non-smoker. Have car. Good with cleaning. For fun, I go hiking and engage in a range of creative hobbies. I tend to spend my weekends out of the house. I'm also working on a writing project, so looking for a generally quiet home - at least in the day time. Please feel free to ask any questions! Much appreciated. Best, Tan. PS I LOVE kids but for now, am looking for a home with adults. This isn't a strict rule, however!

I'm very quiet during the week and spend a lot of time reading books or watching films, but I love to catch up during the weekends and socialise. :) I'm a vegetarian but have lived with both meat eaters and vegans so other peoples' food choices don't bother me! Hey my name is Jacob. I'm 25-years old and work part-time as a coordinator of a outside school hours care program and studying part-time at Victoria University to be a school teacher and looking to to live in the inner-west (footscray, west footscray, seddon, yarraville) and preferably close to a train station as my job requires me to travel to different schools and don't have a car. To tell you about myself - I'm a out-going friendly guy that's passionate about social justice and left-wing causes and spend a lot of my time when I'm not working or studying participating in left-wing causes such as attending rallies. Outside that I enjoy socialising, having abstract philosophical conversations about the nature of existence and enjoy reading, playing video games and having the occasional drink, can be eccentric occasionally, always clean after myself, and respects personal boundaries and space!
I am Sean. I'm 24 and I am about to start my Masters in Public Policy at Melbourne Uni. I am also working full time in the education sector. I consider myself a very reliable person. Hey there! My name is Tegan. I'm 22 years old and am moving to Melbourne from Bendigo in order to study at La Trobe Bundoora. I am also currently completing my Certs III and VI in Fitness to allow me to work as a personal trainer :) I am super friendly and am quiet when going about my own thing but enjoy hanging out as well 😊
Girl geek / tech freak by day, occasional DJ by night. I am finding my independence in creative technical opportunities whist streaming through the many sights and cafes Melbourne has to offer. I am looking for chill people to live with who like pets and music, look after themselves and have a life outside of the house but also like to chill and share a drink. I don't smoke but I don't mind if you do, not fussed on what others eat or sexuality as its all relative, each to their own. Mutual respect is the way forward. Flexible with move dates, ideally early to mid March. Ideally looking for somewhere animal friendly where the people have a pet as I dont have any of my own and it keeps the good vibes going. Not a dealbreaker though. If you have a garden, that would be awesome. Again, not a deal breaker though. I am open to a sublet although 4- 6 months minimum is preferred.
Hello there future housemate(s), I’m Sanjit, a 22-year-old student who’s looking to move to Melbourne from Brisbane in order to pursue my Master’s degree in Food science at the University of Melbourne. I’m very reliable with rent and other bills (can provide references of previous housemates). I’ve lived in many share houses before so I know the drill! I’m hygienic, clean and tidy! I’m very chilled out and laid-back (so much so that I’m almost horizontal) and hope to find similar easy going and open minded housemates. Looking to rent a place for a minimum of 4-6 months and can extend it if it works out fine. I’m a very sociable person, love going out for food, drinks, movies and would love to find a chilled out place to call home. I also respect everyone’s privacy and will not be constantly pestering you haha. Since I’ll be starting with my Master’s degree, I’ll be pretty busy during the weekdays at Uni but I’m always keen to chill on the weekends. I love watching and playing soccer! (GO Manchester united!) I enjoy scuba diving, longboarding and am now looking into indoor/outdoor rock climbing. Also enthusiastic about patting dogs and watching funny dog compilation videos. I’m an avid music listener! Love rap, hip hop (artists such as Kendrick lamar, Eminem, 2pac, Biggie, The underachievers, Joey badass, J cole etc), classic rock (Pink Floyd, Guns n roses, Aerosmith, The beatles, Jefferson airplane, Creedence Clearwater revival, The rolling stones, Eric Clapton, Queen etc), Electronic (Flume, Nicholas jaar, Odesza, Pretty lights, Eric prydz, Bassnectar etc) and sometimes when I’m feeling classy, I’ll hit up some Wolfgang Mozart (what a ridiculously cool name) or Bach. So if you love music, I’m sure we will get along!! Also, I have a pair of headphones so you don’t have to worry about me blasting loud music. Also down to binge watch movies and tv shows. So, if you think we’d get along and would like to team up or you have a room available in your house, hit me up! I’m currently travelling overseas and will be arriving in Melbourne around the 25th of February. Send me a message if you're interested. Hope to hear from you soon :)
