Very easy going, tidy, responsible. Enjoy kicking back and having a beer / wine, mainly on weekends. I'm a bit of a nerd, both technology wise, but also in terms of home appliances (the industry I work in), so if we need to get anything for the house, chances are that I have a connection.
I'm moving to Melbourne to start university next year at VCA in Southbank, and am looking for any nice and affordable place to live. I'm somewhat introverted and quiet but easygoing and up for socialising, and I'm also easy to get along with. I am a photographer and love art, music, films, games, and pretty much anything creative. I'm also vegan and an animal lover, and great with pets.
Hi I'm Stacey, 22 & moving to Melbourne in mid/late January. I'm very easy going & get along with everyone. Have a good sense of humour, neat, tidy & respectful. I enjoy cooking & keeping fit & healthy. Love to explore the outdoors & always in search for the latest trendy cafe or pop-up bar. Although I love being social, I do appreciate down time & often find myself on the couch watching OffSpring & enjoying a glass of wine... or two! If you think we would get along well, I would love to hear from you :)
We are a young couple from Tasmania, looking to move to Melbourne for work. We are both very clean and always clean up after ourselves. We are very easy going people and like meeting new people but we are also very quiet too. We enjoy travelling and spending our weekends out exploring. You won't have any trouble or problems with us. We would prefer to move in with another couple and would like a more modern unit or apartment, however we are open to look at anything. We would like to get a place somewhat close to the train station as we would only be bringing one car over. Maddison works in Tasmania as a payroll officer and Tom works as a teachers aide and child educator. These are the professions we would most likely continue in Melbourne. Maddison and I enjoy travelling spending our weekends out in the city; shopping and eating out but we also enjoy going to the beach and going on bush walks. If you have any questions or would like to talk to us more please feel free to message us. Thanks Tom and Maddison.
Two young professionals about to start their careers in healthcare! Both friendly, outgoing and most importantly clean housemates. Like to play netball, hockey and go to the gym. Both originally from country Victoria so we head back there every few weekends to catch up with family and friends. We enjoy catching up with friends on the weekends.
Hi, we are a couple looking for a room somewhere around Melbourne (preferably Richmond) with great connections to the city since we are both studying and working in and around the city. We would prefer to not pay more than 360 per week for both of us, but can be discussed. It is Frida who is 21 years old from Sweden, and Russell who is 21 (soon 22) from outside of Melbourne. We are a friendly and social couple who would love to be friends and hang out with the people we live with but at the same time have respect for our privacy since we will have a lot of studying to do. Other than that, we are two normal students who likes to have fun and hang out, go out once in a while and not just sit at home. If we sound like the people for you, then we'd love to hear from you! :)))
Hey :) I'm Mike, a 25 year old Londoner who's made the move to Melbourne. I work full time in the sports industry based in the CBD and so am looking for a place within easy travelling distance of the city. Flexible when it comes to location, length of lease and weekly rent amount. The most important thing to me is that the place feels like a home rather than just a room. I'm a clean, fun and friendly person who enjoys socializing with housemates but appreciates that we all need our own space occasionally. I have house shared with both males and females before, understand house share etiquette and always pay the rent/bills on time every time. Excited to find a new place and meet some amazing new housemates so I hope to hear from you soon :)
Hey All, 34yo Guy looking for easygoing and hassle free flatmates/flatmate to live with. Work fulltime Mon-Fri in sales for a refrigeration wholesaler in thomastown. Like to keep things low key during the week, Maybe catch up with mates or a gig. And out and about during the weekend but there's always room for a lazy weekend here and there. I like to follow a lot of sports(Rugby,Epl etc) and also get into my music....And travelling, Spent the last few years in london. What makes me great to live with? Pay the bills/Rent on time, Respect peoples privacy, Clean up after myself and not leave a pile of dishes in the sink, And enjoy a chat over a beer or coffee. preferably looking for a place with a garage/undercover parking or off street parking. Cheers
Hello! I am a nursing student and usually work in health/cosmetic medicine or temp in offices (until degree is finished). I need a house with a yard with grass. I am making the move from Syd where I have held a lease for years and had my mix of good and bad flatmates. I don't really want the hassle of managing a house and flatmates on my own anymore. I have a house full of cool antique and vintage furniture in storage which can come with me or stay there. I am a good person to live with. I take quick showers, bathroom is tidy after I use it. If I cook I wash and dry same night, wipe down and no food in sink! I empty bins, tidy as I go etc. I keep to myself but can be chatty if you feel like it. I have a very good sense of humour. I come with two quiet dogs. I don't have people over or make noise. All my flatmates have loved my dogs. They would need a corner in a living room for their day beds or a really large bedroom so they could have beds in there. Believe me they sleep a lot. One is a greyhound and one is a mix. No barking, very good in the house. May raid bins if given access, so they have to be supervised if kitchen is open or bins on floor. Never any accidents in house. They don't smell doggy as regularly cleaned. A covered area in back yard or access to a garage would be needed for when I am at work so they can be dry and warm. I am extremely responsible and hard working so all bills and rent are paid on time every time and my dogs have the best of care and no responsibility is on anyone else in house to care for them. I have lived with 19 year olds up to mid 50's. I do Taekwondo and weights. My two best friends live in Yarraville. I love being busy and in my downtime I watch good drama or home Reno shows :) I like to eat out as well. I have been known to down G&T's or champagne and come home drunk once in a while after dancing all night, but that is rare these days, I lean to the left in my politics and would probably like a house that recycles etc..
(Initial note: I am queer and sometimes gender-nonconforming/femme in my presentation and my partner is trans, if this is an issue don't bother messaging me) I am a friendly, tidy, and responsible 22yo social science/teaching student, I've also just picked up a part-time warehousing job that I'll be starting in the next fortnight. I am always up for a chat but unintrusive, much of the time I will either be out or studying but I'm open to both independent and more friendly share arrangements if we have similar interests/get along. I am vegetarian and prefer to organise my own food, although I enjoy cooking and don't mind sharing at times. I don't currently have any furniture, however I'll be able to source my own quickly (I have a blowup mattress I can use until I get a bed) and can supply my own kitchenware, other than an oven/hotplates. Ideally I'm looking for somewhere with a nice kitchen and a room that fits a double bed. I'm looking for at least a 4 month lease, somewhere longer (up to a year) is no problem either. My move date is pretty flexible.
Hi i'm down to earth, friendly and easy going. I have a passion for music and all things art related. I also enjoy going out to watch and play live gigs. Im currently working part time as an ombudsman for the telecommunications industry. I have just moved from New Zealand to Melbourne permanently and looking to live with people who have similar interestes
Hey! My name is Kevin and I will be moving to Melbourne in mid January. I'm from bayside Brisbane but spent the last three years finishing Uni in Canberra. I've lived with others since I moved to Canberra so I'm pretty good when it comes to communal living and stuff (No, I won't steal your pizza from the fridge). Ive shared houses with both guys and gals as well. I have a job already sorted so bills won't ever be a 'next week' issue. I'm super friendly as well and enjoy most things fun in life! I love watching movies, snowboarding, surfing, playing soccer and Im a very well travelled person (will be in Austria in December). My ideal flatmates are people that I could socialise with. I'll be busy at work most days of the week and most of you would be too but I'd hate to live with people I couldn't even say hi to or share a movie with. I'd say I care more about who I'm house sharing with than what the house is like. Would love to have a dog so if you already have one I'll treat it like one of us. Also cool to start our own houseshare. Just realised you cant even message anyone on here without having to pay. Feel free to shoot me a message on waterfordwest08 google mail
Hi! I'm an English and Drama teacher at Swinburne Senior Secondary College. As well as teaching 3-4 days per week, I tutor VCE students and write for an education magazine. In my spare time I love reading, swimming, books and music. My partner Rosie is a student at Holmsglenn, in Glen Waverly, and she is an incredible gardener. She can grow food, fix the kitchen sink, propagate natives... anything practical, she's onto it. She also plays violin, swims, reads, and does her homework. We're both clean and tidy and very responsible with our bills and payments. PETS: The kitten in the picture is not coming with us!! We are planning to adopt a dog but will make sure it is well trained (if you are worried we can pay a pet bond to put your mind at ease!). We are looking for somewhere green and quiet. An enclosed yard, trees, and spaces to grow vegetables are a plus, as is proximity to parks/rivers/creeks/national parks. I'd prefer to catch the train to work so walking/riding distance to the Belgrave line train station would be amazing. Neither of us smoke, and we have our own furniture.
Vik - I'm a fun and easy going person. I am sensitive to others' feelings and am understanding. I am a neat and tidy person. I love the performing arts and moving to Melbourne for my masters. I am going to be a teacher. Dion - He is a friendly and nice person who loves making others around him laugh. He is moving to Melbourne to be with me and to have a new beginning in life. We are looking for a one bedroom apartment in the city in a condo. We are responsible and will pay the rent and bills on time.
I'm an IT nerd by day and fairly friendly happy person, moved to Melbourne from Perth and love it here. Love boardgames & books and all things Sci-Fi. I am fairly quiet & keep to myself most days, and always clean and tidy. I like to get along with most people and see myself as a fairly friendly sociable person. I'm currently living in Brunswick, however with housemates moving out I will either need to find new housemates or find a new place to move into. Also I have 2 (older) cats, who are very friendly but mostly just sleep all day... I also have a large amount of furniture, Fridge / TV, Dining Table, etc. so would ideally like to move into a property where these can be put to use :D Feel free to ask me any questions :)
I am a 25 year old male beginning another degree hopefully at Monash next semester. Just moved over from Perth a few days ago so I don't have a job yet, however i am very qualified and experienced so i will find part-time work quickly. I also brought a large sum of savings with me for security. I enjoy chilled but social households (shared movies, dinner and some wine etc). I also love indoors beach volley so I will be looking for a local team once i'm settled in. Please message me if you feel I would fit in at your place. Cheers! Ben :)
Hi! I'm Michelle. I'm 31 and am currently working as a property manager in the South Yarra. During the weeks I take it pretty easy, sometimes catching up with friends and going to the gym. On the weekends (if I'm not working) I like to occasionally go out to a bar or pub for a few drinks, catching up with family or just relaxing. I consider myself to be a really laid back person, friendly, social but I also like my own space every now and then. I'm a pretty clean and tidy person but not over the top about it. I currently live in another share house but my housemate is moving in with her boyfriend. The date I can move in can be flexible. I would love somewhere with my own bathroom. Parking is a must. If there isn't off street parking, I need to be able to park my car somewhere near by on the street. I currently pay $1100 a month and am looking to not pay too much more than that : )
My name is Felicity Campbell, I'm 23 years old and I'm heading back to uni next year to start my masters degree. I currently reside on the Mornington peninsula so I'm searching for a place closer to the city. When I'm not studying I'm working part time as a bartender in Richmond. I'm fun, I'm friendly and super easy going. I'm considerate and respectful of others and I know how to keep a house clean and tidy.
Hi, my name is Alonso. I am a mexican PhD student looking for a nice place to live in and interesting housemates to share it with. I am very relaxed, tidy, friendly, and curious person looking to meet some great new flatmates.
I'm clean, not a piss pot and do the dishes when I use them. I'm on the left of things and identify as a socialist, although I am not involved in any organisation at present. I like having political conversations if you want to, otherwise happy to discuss the tennis or your fave band. Always ready for a bit of fun but place high value on my chill time. Can cook, but sometimes the results are interesting.
Hi! I am a busy professional, GM of a company, so work long hours and travel a lot. I am very much a home body and like to chill when not working. I like privacy and will generally keep to myself, but also like a chat or relax watching tv. Cleanliness is important to me, as is respect for each other. Looking for a room with space, ensuite, and car spot. Prefer to live with just one flatmate. Looking to move just after Xmas 16.
I am from London and my girlfriend is from Colchester in Essex. After we graduated from university, we worked, saved money and are now attempting to travel around the world! We are currently in South East Asia and after spending Christmas in Bali we will be heading to Melbourne at the end of December to live and work there. We enjoy meeting new people, visiting new places, live music and food. we are friendly and sociable but also tidy and respectful of other people's space. We have found somewhere to stay for the first three weeks after we arrive in Melbourne and are now looking to find a place in Melbourne to stay longer term (3-4 months). Happy to hear about anything which could be suitable and more than happy to answer any questions, thanks!
Hey, I'm Matthew. I'm from Sydney originally, where I worked for Apple. Moved to Melbourne at the start of 2015 for an Acting school which I've now graduated from. I work as courier on the side now which lets me pay bills and keep active. Outside of that I've started Calisthenics training, as well as Dance and Piano lessons. I've lived in share houses since I was 18 and have been privy to good housemates and bad, so you can be sure I'll make a good housemate for you. I clean up immediately after cooking. I'm quiet at home and enjoy my rest and peace. I'm consciencious of the sound I make and my influence on the living space for my housemates. No smokes/drinks/drugs. Not a racist. No prejudices. I'm a grown up. Financially responsible | I will always have rent paid on time. I'm honest. If I break it, I'll tell you and repair/replace it. Cool with any pets. Friendly. I'm Vegan | I don't sweat what you eat or how you live. Not thrown by any sights or smells. Grown up.
I am moving to Melbourne from Adelaide to study post grad pharmacy. I will be pretty busy with study and like my own space but i still like to have a chat and hang out etc. I am preferably looking to live in a shared townhouse with other females somewhere 20-30minutes from CBD and near a train/tram line. Clean and respectful, have lived in a shared house before.
Hi there! I'm Nayanika, 22, from India. I'll be visiting Melbourne for my Research Training at Victoria University for 6 months from the 3rd week of March 2017. I'm looking for a place in CBD which is close to the Melbourne Central Station. I need flatmates who maintain cleanliness and hygiene. I'm kind, friendly, open-minded and an independent person. I respect people's privacy. I love travelling and exploring new places, meeting people from cross-cultural backgrounds. I'm also a foodie! and enjoy cooking. I am easy-going and adjusting in new places would't be a problem. I am a tidy person. I'm quiet and I keep to myself most of the time but I wouldn't mind tagging along for a grub here and there.

I am a brewer who loves music, photography and art. A bit of a film geek and binger of tv seasons but also enjoy getting outdoors and pretending to exercise. I'm tidy, clean and respectful of others. I'm quiet and like to keep to myself a lot of the time but also like to hang out and have a drink, share a meal or go out and socialise. I have a pet rabbit who lives inside with me in his own cage area. He is well behaved, house trained and doesn't party too much. Thanks Matt
Hey! I'm a relaxed 20 y/o guy looking for a place to share with housemates who like to chill and have a drink every now and again but also like their personal space. I'm working 2 jobs part time at the moment, and when I'm not I'm usually out with friends as much as possible so you'll have the place to yourself! I also have an awesome 4-year-old Australian Terrier named Jedi and I've never met anyone who doesn't love him. My current lease is up in Jan but I can definitely figure stuff out if I find a good place :)
Hey there, we are two fun and hardworking girls from Germany and the states. We are easy to live with, love cooking and are always happy to meet new people. We met while working and port Douglas and would love to find a place together in Melbourne now. :)

Manon and Vanja, 2 professionals working full time in Finance and Health Care, in our late twenties. Both sporty, neat, easy going and pretty happy to relax around some drinks and good food after a busy day/week at work. While pretty social, we know to respect that everyone needs their own space and has their own life. We are looking for a house that feels like home and nice, professional, housemate(s). Feel free to get in touch if you think we would get along! Cheers, Manon & Vanja
Hey guys I'm here studying for the next 2 years and looking for a roommate(s) to share a living space with. I am relatively clean and prefer to live in a tidy environment, also love to cook. When I'm not studying I enjoy going out for drinks, a restaurant, shopping, working out or playing sports. I am easy going and always down to chat or go out but do need my personal time and respect when others need this time as well. I am looking preferable for females who are relatively around my age.
I am an easy going lucky, full time employed professional. I have recently moved to Melbourne for work and looking for a great place to call home. I have a beautiful, friendly black cat named Ninja.
I am a graphic designer, currently working as a receptionist. Got a new job in the city and need to move closer. I'm a happy bubbly person who likes socializing with like minded people. I can be found listening to music (quietly), reading a book, watching Netflix (happy to discuss tv shows in depth with a glass of wine), packing to go on mini road trips with friends, cooking/baking, and I don't mind cleaning.
I honestly don't have a lot to offer. I am 19, I don't study, I don't work, I get disability payments and I have a cat, but I always pay rent and I am tidy and easy to get on with. Every so often I use my nervous energy to clean everything too, so that's another perk of living with me. It's difficult finding somewhere to rent in my position and I know this ad will get little to no response but I'm desperate to move quite soon so if you think we'd get on please contact me!
