A little about me: I'm 24 years old, just finishing off my masters degree in Teaching. I currently work at the student service centre at VU. I'm a friendly person who's very outgoing and love to get engaged in a good banter. I'm adventurous, love traveling and meeting new people. If you ever lose me look for the nearest dog. I'm quite tidy and particular about the bathroom being clean but no where near OCD so it's all good. I'd like to live with someone who can I chat with over a glass of wine or even some coffee. I cook quite a bit and love baking, so yep you'll def get to try some of my home baked goodies. Shoot me a message if you reckon I'm someone you'd like to share your place with. x
I assure you I am uncomplicated and easy to live with. My uni courses are usually intense so I'm not someone you find sitting around at home. In my free time I love being outside. If you're in for going out exploring the city or having a beer together then I'm in. I look forward to meeting you! Almost forgot the basics: I'm from Germany, studying interior architecture at Swinburne
Hi! Everyone, I am currently living in east gippsland and wanting to move back to Melbourne ASAP! Looking for a place to call home for at least the next 6 months if not longer. I have just been accepted to study at Swinburne starting on the 31st of July. I love make up and having a few drinks and good night out, I am a very relaxed tidy person who is social (but needs to make new friends) but also loves some down time relaxing or watching a movie. I have been bartending the last few years and making coffee. I already have a Saturday night job in Melbourne lined up but I'm still looking for some work during the week when I'm not studying but that hopefully should be sorted in the next week. Would love to come and have a look at your room and have a chat asap! I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks Tegan 😊
Current undergraduate student studying Psychology/Neuroscience at the University of Melbourne and have just transferred from the University of Sydney this semester. I have experienced living with others when I did a French Immersion programme in Quebec City last year and really loved the experience. I enjoy reading, travelling, music, and going to the beach. I am responsible, tidy, honest and considerate. Very happy for my previous host family in Quebec (although some translating may be required as they only speak French!) or my former school principal to be contacted for a character reference.
I am looking to find someone to share a home with, where we share the costs and also a meal every now and then. I am neat and tidy and love a clean home. I am looking for a room in an already existing house. I am not too fussed on location as long it is the the east, or even south-east. I am open to someone with children, couples and even pets. I am looking for somewhere modern and in a safe area. I also already have a fair bit of appliances like a washing machine, fridge and my own bedroom furniture but okay to sell them if they are not needed. If I sound like someone you would like to live with or maybe catch up for a coffee to discuss further then send me a message :)
Hello people of the internet! What I'm looking for in a place: - Close to public transport - Friendly/social vibes - A room that will fit a double bed, drawers, and a desk Boring stuff about me: - I'm 22 (would love to live with people around my age) - Work 2 part time jobs - between both my hours tend to be full time - Currently deciding whether to pursue postgrad study or to work full time (decisions are hard) - Always pay rent and bills on time - Good communicator - Consistent cleaner and tidier - Committed to staying long term in the right place - Not a ghost - i.e. you will see me in and around the house often - Love animals so if you have a pet it's a bonus for me! (Hopefully) Less boring stuff about me: - Will be there for you to edit your essay/love letter - Will share hilarious memes with you whether you like it or not - Will make sure you are consulted when ordering uber eats - Can contribute x2 house plants - Will never judge you when you make bad choices (e.g. watching house hunters all day) Would love to hear from you if you think we'd get along :)
Look no further - you've stumbled on the perfect housemate! I’m Jarrod, 33 and I study engineering full-time, and work in hospitality part-time. I like the outdoors, board games, music, AFL, delish food, and pub trivia among other things. I’ve just returned from a semester abroad and have just started back at RMIT, so I'm looking for a place to move into ASAP, and ideally stay long-term. I’m easy-going, clean and tidy without being obsessive, social, respectful, responsible etc. I have a few household items that may come in handy, including a fridge, TV, and table-tennis table. I can either bring these or leave them in storage. I'm looking for a house/apartment where I can feel at home, share the occasional meal, drink, and night in front of the TV. I’m not looking for a party house, but I do enjoy the occasional soiree and am totally fine with friends visiting and staying over every now and then. I'm also a public transport user, so close to trains/trams/buses/bike trails would be great too. Drop me a line – I’d love to swing by to meet you and take a look at your place!
Georgie: I'm studying at RMIT full-time doing mechanical engineering. I've just started working casually. I'm never really to sure how to describe myself. I like to think that I'm easy to get along with. Since I'm still new to melbourne (moved over from perth a month ago) I'm still trying to establish myself here. I'm pretty laid back, like to keep things relaxed although I like going out over the weekend. I have a 9 week old black lab named Apollo, I haven't been able to pick her up yet since I'm still trying to break my current lease.
My name is Lulu, I'm an interior stylist + photographer. I'm clean, and tidy I love going to the galleries, theatre and shopping. I love to go for coffee or wine and have been known to assemble a great cheese board. I run a freelance photography business on the side. Looking for someone who is clean and likes their own space but happy to share a meal or hang out occasionally Lulu
Independent and social. I'm pretty active and enjoy being out as much as being home. I'm keen on living in a house where everyone enjoys a chat and a drink together when the timing is right. I have a minimal approach (ie not much furniture haha) but still manage to carry around my vinyl collection sans record player! I love gardens but my work hours can fluctuate a lot so I can't commit to that one... I moved to Melbourne less than a year ago and love it-even the weather!
Hey there! I'm Natalie and I'm nearly 20! I am currently moving from Brisbane down to Melbourne and would love to find a fun and energetic household to move in to. I love dogs, sleep and food. I also occasionally enjoy a great night out with a few drinks. I also currently work in Real Estate and once I have settled in down South, I'll be looking at transferring my qualifications to VIC.
Dutch, in relationship, PhD student I like sports, working out and also chill and veg out in the evenings. Eating together or having a beer/wine with a good conversation, no problem. At the same time, I like to keep to myself and sleep in on days off. I'm a bad snoozer but with most other aspects of life (such as sports, school, work, cleaning, groceries) I am pretty disciplined. I do like a nice clean living space, but I don't mind books or keys or whatever lying around. So yeah, if you're looking for someone to go on a run with, share (not all the time) healthy food, chats and also private space, and don't mind having friends/family over, send me a message :)
I'm a relaxed and clean girl who is very quiet and respectful. I work full time as an analytics consultant in Southbank. Working hour is normally 9 - 6, but often we have to stay late when required. Outside work, I go to the gym, hang out with my mates on the weekend (brunch, board game, escape room, badminton, movies etc.). I enjoy my own time, love sleeping in, watch movies/TV shows, cooking (making biscuits, dumplings). But I'm also keen for a chat or dinner together when we are both at home. Move in date must be before 17 August. I should be able to stay for at least 1 year. Furniture is flexible. Budget is $300 within free tram zone but $250 outside the free tram zone. I don't have a car with me so being close to public transport and groceries is important. I have a lovely 1year-old indoor cat that I want to bring with me if possible. She uses the litter box regularly and very human-friendly. She can pretty much look after herslef. If you have a place available, please feel free to message me. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hi! I am Frida, a Swedish exchange student studying gender and human rights. I am easy going, up for a glass of wine anytime and a great house mate. I’ve stayed in share houses before, and oh, I know how to clean! So whenever it’s my cleaning week, you’re going to be amazed. I don't smoke, but do not bother if you do, love pets, but don't have any of my own. I would prefer to move in to a furnished home, while I will only stay for this semester. The fun about me, I love pasta, cats, feminism, Netflix and red wine. I love to hang out with my housemates but is still very careful with my own space, and of course respectful to your own space. I would love to meet up with you to have a look at the room and to have a chat with you. Hope to hear from you soon, Frida Bolin

Hi there, I am a looking for a nice place to call home. I work full time as an architect, I am passionate about design and very interested in sustainable living. I like organic gardening, I love plants, flowers and contemplating the landscape. All I need is a nice and tidy space with people who are considerate and respectful for shared areas, who hopefully are in a similar work-life situation as myself. I am a friendly and considerate girl with people I live with and I expect the same in return. My main hobby, passion and lifestyle is practicing yoga, which I do every day so I am looking for a spacious room where I can practice. I am enthusiastic and empathic and always try to stick around cool people who are interested in healthy lifestyles and do good for others. I am from Mexico and have been living in Australia for 2.5 years, I do enjoy getting to know people from other cultural backgrounds as well as locals, as long as they are nice : ). My lease is about to end and I will be moving to Brisbane after, so I am just looking for a short term rent that could potentially get a bit extended, but would not be more than 6 months. Cheers
Looking for a new place to stay during my exchange, starting around mid-august! About me: Small town French Canadian early retired sexologist 28-year-old gay law student based in Montreal. I’m responsible, organized, and respectful of people’s space. Having been a counselor for a while, I don’t shy away from real talks and good connections. I also like to go out and dance from time to time. Oh, and I like biking and volleyball. Kind of household: I am quite sociable and I hope to spend some time with my new roommates. However, I kinda like/need my sleep and privacy, so I don’t think a busy or party house would be the best fit. Animals = sure. People around my age = yas. Quick witted spirits = damn right. Gardening extraordinaires = yes please. Hit me up, Brenda!
I've been living in Melbourne for 5 years. Originally from Adelaide. I'm working full time at RMIT. I don't drive - by choice, I haven't had my licence suspended or anything like that. Currently living in Northcote and would be happy to keep living in this area but also happy to live in similar locations e.g. Brunswick, Collingwood, Fitzroy, etc. I'm not very familiar with the south side of the city but would consider moving there too. LGBT+ friendly. Places that I am interested in have the following features: Close to public transport (preferably a train line but trams are okay). Close to shops and cafes. Housemates that are clean and tidy in common spaces. A bedroom that can fit a queen size bed and bedside tables. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
